Tour the World’s Biggest Superyacht

superyacht in the water

If you’ve seen one superyacht, you’ve seen them all. At least that’s how it can feel when so many of the world’s largest privately owned seafaring vessels play it safe, offering little more than slight tweaks on the same cookie-cutter look. Hoping to break from those stale conventions, one ambitious designer has introduced a strikingly innovative concept for what would not only be the biggest luxury superyacht in the world but also undeniably the boldest as well.

It’s called Valkyrie , and its purpose is to shatter preconceived notions about the size, shape, and fundamental purpose of superyachts. The long-gestating project of Chulhun Park, chief designer for Riga, Latvia–based Latitude Yachts, the Valkyrie project aims to be a 751-foot floating entertainment hub, unlike anything the world has ever seen. If completed, it would shatter the superyacht length record of 591 feet currently held by Azzam , a boat that's believed to be owned by Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates.

a look at the side of a yacht in the water

The 751-foot-long Valkyrie would far surpass the length of the 591 foot-long yacht, Azzam , which currently holds the record for the world's biggest superyacht.

At first glance, Valkyrie seems to take its aesthetic cues from science fiction rather than existent superyacht design tropes. Its sleek yet surprising shape was inspired by deconstructivism, a postmodernist architectural movement that eschews harmony and symmetry in favor of warped unconventionality. Park says his interest in the work of deconstructivists, like that of the late Zaha Hadid, predates his career in yacht design, which might explain why he was able to effortlessly integrate its aesthetic hallmarks into the shape of Valkyrie . “Having seen too many conventional white yachts, which were vertically stacked like wedding cakes, I was determined to design a visually unique yacht which would stand out from a fleet,” Park says. “I was interested in manipulating a structure’s surface to create non-rectilinear shapes, which appear to distort and dislocate elements of shape.”

Valkyrie ’s exceptional design is made possible by cutting-edge tech that grants Park additional freedom and flexibility to play around with the yacht’s shape without sacrificing performance. If created, Valkyrie will incorporate a steel or aluminum Trimaran hull (in other words, a multihull vessel) first engineered by Palmer Johnson Yachts (where Park previously worked as a senior exterior designer) for use in its super sport series. This unique below-the-waterline construction minimizes drag during high-speed travel and boosts fuel efficiency by up to 50 percent, all while creating up to 30 percent of additional interior and exterior space. Additionally, the extensive use of Palmer Johnson’s carbon construction technology throughout Valkyrie reduces weight and allows for better sight lines from inside the boat.

man holding a model superyacht

Chulhun Park, chief designer for Latitude Yachts, holds a model of the Valkyrie superyacht.

Valkyrie would serve as a multifaceted space where guests can come aboard to explore things like a casino, theater, gallery, restaurants, and convention space. Park’s design will also incorporate elements such as “large windows and open areas” that offer the chance to experience the beauty and luxury of nature in addition to the onboard amenities. This concept achieves the dual purposes, which will be good news for anyone ready to spend the estimated $800 million price tag for owning the vessel.

Though Valkyrie is still in its conceptual stage, Park emphasizes that there is “genuine interest” in the project. And with ongoing advancements in design and technology, the largest, most distinctive superyacht might be ready to welcome you on board sooner than you’d think.

The Best Yacht Charters You Can Book Around the World

Whether you’re looking for seven decks of entertainment, a family-friendly trip, or a diving-focused Caribbean voyage, you’ll find it here.

superyacht world tour

There are few experiences as luxurious and awe-inspiring as a yacht charter . You can explore the world at your leisure, spend quality time with friends and family in an intimate setting, and the service is second to none. We've rounded up the most exceptional new yacht charters to book around the world. They're sure to inspire your next voyage, whether you want to relax along the Amalfi Coast or explore remote corners of the globe.

In the yachting world, Loon is known for an exceptional array of water toys — perhaps the best in her class. There's a FunAir inflatable slide that goes from the third deck straight into the ocean, an in-water pool, and a luxurious 43-foot Everglades tender. You can hop on paddleboards, sea kayaks, Waverunners, or a Seabob to explore nearby islands and coves.

The adventurous can try kite surfing or Lift e-Foil surfboards, which seems effortless when you watch the crew fly past, but is actually quite challenging. Loon is also a scuba diver's dream. The crew has several master divers and dive instructors who can take you out each morning, and they have all of the equipment you need onboard. They can also certify new divers during the trip.

The 180-foot yacht has a staggering 1,100 gross tons of living space, elegant design, and an amiable and attentive crew. Loon has two master staterooms, including a unique one on the upper deck. It has wraparound windows that offer unparalleled views of the surroundings. There are two salons, including one with recliners and a projector for movie night, plenty of spaces for dining alfresco, and an oversized infinity-edge Jacuzzi with a wet bar nearby. Fancy a workout? Loon has a treadmill, exercise bike, rowing machine, and free weights in the beach club. You'll be hard-pressed to find better workout views than this.

The crew is absolutely lovely and specializes in setting up unique experiences. You might have a pizza night on board, a barbecue on a private beach, or sundowners at the Instagram-famous Loon Bar. The crew will even take you to a picture-perfect sandbar and serve you drinks as you loll in the warm water.

Loon is available for charter from IYC in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Bermuda during the winter months and in the Mediterranean in the summer months. Rates begin at $325,000 a week plus expenses.

Nansen Explorer

For the ultimate Antarctica adventure, you can't beat a voyage aboard Nansen Explorer . This former research vessel has all of the technical features needed to safely explore one of the world's most remote and dramatic landscapes and, thanks to a retrofit in 2021, an ultra-luxe interior design that wouldn't look out of place in St. Tropez. For exploration, Nansen Explorer has an Ice-1A classed 236-foot hull and an ice-experienced captain and bridge team, which means she can go deeper into the ice than other polar-classed superyachts. There's a heli-deck with onboard fueling capabilities, so you can see the vast landscape from the sky, or even go heli-skiing. There are plenty of toys that allow you to get up close and personal with wildlife and nature, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, dive equipment, and Zodiacs.

The interiors are so stylish, modern, and well-appointed that you'll forget you're in the middle of Antarctica rather than at a swanky hotel. The ship originally accommodated 60 passengers, but now it holds just 12 guests in seven cabins, including an owner's suite and a VIP suite. Each cabin has large windows that showcase the stunning vistas outside the ship. The sumptuous Scandanavian-inspired decor features shades of grey and white, which reflect the surrounding environment. There's a cozy lounge with a bar and a fireplace, perfect for warming up after an excursion to see penguins or whales.

Nansen Explorer is available for charter from Plan South America in Antarctica. Rates begin at $340,000 a week and are all-inclusive.

Yachting in French Polynesia is always a blissful experience, but Dardanella takes relaxation to the next level with bespoke, wellness-focused charters planned by onboard wellbeing facilitator Ayumi Gallagher. The wellness experience is all-encompassing, including fresh, detoxifying food, mindfulness workshops, yoga sessions, Pilates, meditation, and massages alongside traditional yacht activities, like diving, surfing, and tender safaris exploring the pristine waters and nature of French Polynesia. The captain is also a qualified marine biologist and ecologist, so he's the perfect person to show you this unique environment. There are two dive instructors, 12 sets of dive gear, a Nitrox dive compressor, and underwater photography equipment, so you can capture the beauty underwater, too. As an expedition yacht, Dardanella is well-suited for exploring remote destinations. The 121-foot yacht was refit in 2018 and has five luxurious cabins.

Dardanella is available for charter from 37south in French Polynesia. Rates begin at $100,000 a week plus expenses.

With seven decks, there's something for everyone aboard Wheels . This massive yet elegant yacht measures 249 feet, weighs almost 2,000 gross tons, and has lots of standout amenities including a spacious cinema for eight guests, a huge aquarium, massage room with a dedicated onboard masseuse, air-conditioned gym, and the main salon converts to a disco complete with lights and a smoke machine for those late-night dance parties. The split-level master suite has panoramic views, a study, and plenty of space, and there are four spacious guest suites on the main deck. Outside, there are plenty of relaxation areas, including sunpads, a hot tub, several dining areas and bars, and an enviable water sports area with two Jet Skis, four wave runners, three seabobs, a luxurious tender, and plenty more toys. The crew is very active and can teach you to wakeboard, kitesurf, sail the new Hobie cat catamaran, or scuba dive. They can also lead yoga and fitness classes.

Wheels is available for charter from Fraser Yachts in the Caribbean. Rates begin at $680,000 a week plus expenses.

It's not uncommon for yacht charterers to "upgrade" their yachts year after year, chasing newer and bigger boats, which is makes Big Sky 's number of repeat bookings even more impressive. The 157-foot yacht has been a charter favorite since 2010, and she recently underwent a refit leaving her in immaculate condition. Big Sky can accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam master that spans the width of the yacht, and there's plenty of room onboard to relax, including the main salon with large windows and a state-of-the-art TV system. The sky lounge is perfect for entertaining — it has an onyx bar and sliding windows that make you feel as if you are outside. Of course, if you do want to relax outdoors, there are three teak decks with space for dining and a large sundeck with a Jacuzzi, sun pads, couches, and a bar.

Big Sky is available for charter from Northrop & Johnson in the Bahamas. Rates begin at $180,000 a week plus expenses.

This glamorous new superyacht caused quite a stir when she debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2021. It's rare for a brand-new superyacht of this size to be available immediately for charter, so book your trip on Tatiana early. This 263-foot yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests, who are guaranteed impeccable service from the 20 crew members. She has a great selection of water accoutrements and a stunning design with a large amount of interior space, including a deck dedicated to the owner's suite. There are also two VIP staterooms, four double cabins, and a twin cabin. While away any rainy days in the movie room or shooting some pool. Tatiana also has a fabulous beach club with a large bathing platform, bar, and outdoor lounge.

Tatiana is available for charter from IYC in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Bermuda during the winter months and in the Mediterranean in the summer months. Rates begin at €775,000 a week plus expenses.

Nour El Nil Meroe

Step back in time aboard Nour El Nil Meroe , a traditionally inspired Egyptian yacht full of modern amenities and luxurious design. Meroe is available for charter through Black Tomato, a top luxury travel company known for its expertly curated trips with exclusive experiences and a focus on local culture. Meroe is styled like a classic dahabiya boat, with authentic decor featuring whitewashed walls and linens alongside Parisian decor details. The VIP cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Nile — we can't think of a more fabulous way to have breakfast in bed — while the other cabins have large windows. The shaded roof terrace has plenty of spots for lounging and dining alfresco, and there's a cheery indoor salon with red-and-white striped decor and cozy couches. On your charter, you'll slowly sail down the Nile River from Luxor to Aswan. You can charter just the yacht voyage or book the Ultimate Egypt trip , which includes adventures on land as well as the yacht charter (think: private tours of the pyramids, exploring temples, or taking a jeep safari around Siwa).

El Nil and the Ultimate Egypt trip can be booked through Black Tomato . Rates begin at $5,800 a person.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

One of 2022's most anticipated travel launches is the new The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection . While this is technically a small-ship cruise, every element has been designed to make you feel as if you are aboard a superyacht. The fleet will ultimately have three custom-built yachts, each with 149 suites. However, in 2022, the collection will launch with their first luxury vessel: Evrima . The suites all have private terraces, which isn't something you can expect aboard even the largest superyacht. And of course, the amenities are incredible. It has a beautiful spa, stunning marina terrace (set up like a yacht beach club), an infinity-edge pool, a large gym, and plenty of entertainment. The dining options are seemingly endless, including the main restaurant, the Evrima Room, S.E.A., which features a menu by acclaimed chef Sven Elverfeld of Aqua, Talaat Nam, a Southeast Asian spot, and several casual options.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's inaugural voyage is set for May 2022 and pricing is dependent on the itinerary. Learn more about the trips here .

The Best Superyacht Charter Itineraries in the World

A list of the best charter superyachts from top brokers and handpicked itineraries that make the most of open seas.

By Samantha Coles

Maltese Falcon

Spending so much time indoors has us itching to get back out into the world: to explore, to visit beloved destinations, to make new memories, and to reunite with friends and family. A superyacht  charter is arguably one of the safer ways to travel the world, and also one of the most fun. We’ve looked at the best charter yachts from the top brokers and handpicked itineraries that really make the most of the open seas, and vessels that have such an extensive list of amenities, toys and special features that you might not ever feel the need to go ashore.

Maltese Falcon

Virgin Islands

One of the most head-turning and instantly recognizable yachts on the water, Maltese Falcon (pictured above) has won more than 18 awards since her launch in 2006. She has all the qualities of a sailing yacht but with the huge spaces and luxuries typically found on a motoryacht, and is one of the largest sailing yachts in the world. Her interior, designed by award-winning firm Ken Freivokh Design, is sleek and modern, and features a vibrant art collection. She has spacious deck areas (the VIP cabin looks out on its own deck space), and the deck can transform into an outdoor cinema by night. There is also an outdoor dining table, Jacuzzi, card and playroom area, large office, interior formal dining room, circular bar, gym and spa area. Of course, her most striking feature is her three carbon-fiber rotating masts with 15 sails, which can all be fully controlled via a computer system. This pioneering system means she is simple and safe to sail at speed while maintaining stability, and has contributed to her winning a slew of prestigious superyacht sailing regattas throughout her history.

Where to go

Even though the US Virgin Islands are just 1,000 miles from Miami, the spellbinding natural scenery, abundant marine life and secluded spots make it feel like another world. Spend a relaxing eight days sailing around the main islands of St Thomas, St John and St Croix, dropping anchor in isolated bays. Beginning in St Thomas, sail to Magens Bay in the Northside region to spend a lazy day on the nearly mile-long sandy beach, or try out one of Maltese Falcon’s many watertoys (laser sailing dinghies, stand-up paddleboards and anti-jellyfish sea pool, to name a few).

Next you’ll visit Lovango Cay, a small private island between St Thomas and St John. If you want to venture ashore, the island has exceptional walking trails, or drop anchor just north of the island, one of the best spots for snorkeling in the USVI — keep your eyes peeled for nurse sharks. Journey on to Francis Bay, a protected area on St John. The waters surrounding the island are a hot spot for marine life (look out for sea turtles, tropical fish and coral reefs) and, as 60 percent of the island is occupied by the Virgin Islands National Park, St John feels as if it is far removed from civilization.

You’ll also visit Round Bay and Rendezvous Bay on St John — secluded spots that are ideal for spending days out on the water. Explore by tender or jet ski, or fish for your dinner from the shore and have an alfresco dinner in Maltese Falcon’s outdoor dining space. Sail on to St Croix, where you’ll visit Buck Island Reef National Monument. The island has an abundance of wildlife both above and below the ocean, and you can drop anchor at the historic St Croix Yacht Club in Teague Bay to watch the sunset and have the most scenic movie night on the upper deck.

Formosa has traversed the globe with her owner / ©Thierry Ameller

Despite her young age, Formosa is a seasoned traveler: Her intrepid owner took her on an around-the-world tour two years ago, and she has been on the move ever since. Available for charter in Southeast Asia this winter, she is as well-suited to shorter jaunts as she is long, relaxing vacations. The owner’s suite is on the upper deck and has its own study and private terrace; the two VIP cabins on the main deck both have marble en suites; the two double cabins and one twin are on the lower deck. A glass elevator connects the decks.

Formosa’s interiors, by award-winning Dutch yacht design studio Sinot, are fresh and subtle with a few choice pops of color; her exterior spaces are built to enjoy warmer climes. The spacious sundeck has a hot tub and bar, and the observation deck is a private haven strewn with bright orange sofas and daybeds. The upper deck has alfresco dining space and a sky lounge that can be converted into a cinema room, and the swim platform makes for easy access to the ocean to play with her long list of toys: jet ski; kite surfing equipment; slide; inflatable climbing wall; canoe kayak; wake, ski and knee boards; banana boat; and a host of fishing equipment.

Thailand has some of the most beautiful islands in the world, and in this weeklong suggested itinerary from Fraser, you’ll see the best of the Andaman Sea from Formosa’s inviting decks. Begin in Phuket, the largest Thai island, and visit stunning beaches — each one offers something different, from the secluded Nui Beach to the lively atmosphere at Patong Beach.

Cruise through Phang Nga Bay, famed for its karsts (limestone cliffs), then south to Ko Phi Phi Don. This is a good spot for scuba diving — or hop in a kayak and explore the quieter bays and caves. Next on the agenda is Koh Ngai. It’s officially part of Koh Lanta National Marine Park, so you can expect picture-perfect beach scenes. The neighboring islands form a triangle, making it easy to island-hop, and the rocky islets of Koh Ma, Koh Chueak and Khon Kaen have great snorkeling sites.

Sail on to Koh Muk, home to the Emerald Cave — it is as magical as it sounds. A gorgeous lagoon surrounded by tropical plants lies just beyond the cave, and between the hours of around 10am and 2pm, the sun shines on the lagoon’s waters and reflects on the tunnel’s walls — resulting in a shimmering emerald display. Cruise on to Koh Rok Nok, which is a protected wildlife habitat that has pretty coral gardens teeming with vibrant tropical fish. You’ll be able to spot them right beneath Formosa ; head to her swim platform for the best view, or snorkel in the warm waters for a closer look.

Elite Tip: For a memorable night, head to a secret spot and the crew will set up a campfire on the beach.

Since her launch in 2015, Savannah has won a host of awards

Savannah is an incredible vessel to charter — she is as innovative as she is impressive, with stellar eco-credentials to boot. She is the world’s first-ever hybrid motoryacht and uses a specialized propulsion system to ensure reduced emissions for sustainable cruising. Since her launch in 2015, she has won a host of awards; it’s easy to see why. She has a total of four decks, connected by an elevator and a rosewood spiral staircase. The owner’s suite is on the private upper deck, and the VIP cabin (complete with its own waterside balcony) and additional four en-suite double cabins are found on the main deck.

The main deck also has a 30-ft swimming pool, expansive sundeck with DJ booth and barbecue. There is an onboard spa with hammam (a masseuse and beautician are part of the crew) and a well-equipped gym with views of the ocean — but if you’re more into shooting hoops, then head to her basketball court. Savannah’s piece de resistance is the underwater lounge. It’s the first underwater viewing lounge of its kind, with floor-to-ceiling windows that open up the world beneath the surface for your viewing pleasure. It can also be turned into a cinema room with stadium-style seating.

As one of the world’s natural seven wonders, the Great Barrier Reef is simply remarkable. A large part of the 1,430-mile stretch of coral reef is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park to limit the impact of tourism, so Savannah’s eco-friendly credentials make her a considered choice to charter here. The reef is home to some 900 islands, and while you could certainly head on a longer jaunt to try and see as many of them as possible, this seven-day itinerary from Northrop & Johnson explores the wonders in and around Lizard Island.

One of the most photogenic infinity pools you will see

On day one, you’ll cruise toward Mackay Cay — a small sand island that only rises about a foot above high tide. Snorkel in the surrounding crystal-clear waters and look out for endangered plants and animals. Sail on to Rachel Carson Reef for a spot of fishing, then enjoy a few sunset cocktails on Savannah’s main deck before dinner. Then head on to Anderson Reef, where you can snorkel or dive world-famous sites, including Steve’s Bommie and Temple of Doom. Or, if you’d prefer, head to Savannah’s Nemo Lounge for stunning vistas of the underwater world around you.

In the following days you will sail on to visit Ribbon Reef 7, Ribbon Reef 9, Cod Hole and Dynamite Pass. On day five, you’ll arrive at Lizard Island — follow in the footsteps of Captain Cook, and hike up to the highest point on the island (known as Cook’s Look) to take in the astonishing views; snorkel amongst the giant clams at Clam Gardens, or kayak through the clear waters.

Joy has the first exterior designed by the lauded design studio Bannenberg & Rowell.

Built by industry powerhouse, Feadship, Joy has the first exterior designed by the lauded design studio Bannenberg & Rowell. She has five decks connected by a spiral staircase that coils around a glass elevator; the master suite can be found on the owner’s deck. It was designed to resemble an onboard penthouse and has 270-degree views from floor-to-ceiling windows, a private office and lounge, and his ‘n’ hers en-suite bathrooms, plus it overlooks a winter garden. There are two double en-suite cabins on the owner’s deck positioned close to the master suite (handy if you’re traveling with family). The other cabins are on the main and lower decks. Joy has myriad entertainment spaces including a lower deck beach club that can be transformed into a nightclub or private cinema thanks to the video wall; an Irish whiskey bar in the main saloon; sundeck with barbecue and pool; and a large games deck forward. If you’re a fitness enthusiast, the wellness facilities are outstanding: There is a very well-equipped gym that overlooks the ocean, and a sumptuous spa treatment room.

The main islands in the Balearics are Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, and each has its own distinct character. This seven-day itinerary from Burgess begins in Club de Mar, Mallorca’s chic marina, before gliding onto Playa Es Trenc, a six-mile stretch of beach with shallow, aquamarine waters and powdery sand. Spend the day strolling along the white sands and wading through the clear waters before enjoying an alfresco dinner onboard. Head chef Lee Easdon grew up in a small fishing village in Cornwall, England so, unsurprisingly, he has a passion for seafood. Dine on seared sea bass with fennel puree, dauphine potato and fennel.

A private beach dinner set up by the crew

The next day, you’ll sail on to Formentera. The ‘chill’ island (known as Ibiza’s calmer sister) is perfect for lazy days in the sunshine: Relax on Joy’s sundeck or grab a SeaBob — this is a prime spot for underwater viewing. If you’re up for something more energetic, have a one-on-one training session in the gym. Next, travel on to Ibiza Town. Go ashore in the Wajer 38 tender, then meander through cobbled streets in the fortified Unesco-listed Old Town, or hit one of the famous clubs. Alia 60m superyacht tour: The biggest Aquaholic tour to date

  • Superyachts
  • yacht tours

It’s not often you get invited on board a 60m superyacht, less often still that you’re allowed to take a camera on board. Nick shows us inside the 60m Alia superyacht Samurai…

By some margin, Samurai is the largest and most spectacular superyacht that Nick has ever been lucky enough to film.

In this video, shot at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, he takes us into every corner of this magnificent Turkish-built vessel, and quite frankly he does well not to get lost!

The sheer scale of the yacht takes some getting used to, but the Japanese-themed interior offsets that and adds a sense of calm and class.

Many yachts give the owner’s accommodation the prime position towards the bow of the main deck, but on Samurai , all 5 guest cabins enjoy this elevated position.

That’s not to say that the owner’s suite is any less special, with its own separate lounge and study areas, plus a walk-in wardrobe and a supersized shower.

Moving up to the bridge deck and the helm station is a sight to behold, with seven huge screens displaying all the information a captain could ever want to see, plus a separate seating area for any guests who want to enjoy the view underway.

Enjoy the tour…

The world's most expensive superyachts for charter

Looking to splash some cash? We round up the world’s most expensive superyachts for charter on the market right now, for those seeking a truly memorable vacation on board a supersized luxury yacht. From fun-filled family charters packed with the latest toys to DJ booths and state-of-the-art sound systems for those looking to throw the ultimate party at sea, these multi-million-dollar charters have it all...

Renaissance

Following her launch in early 2023, the 112-metre motor yacht Renaissance has not only joined the charter fleet but is now one of the most expensive yachts for charter. Built by the Spanish shipyard Freire , Renaissance is the largest yacht built in Spain and one of the largest projects designed by the British studio Bannenberg & Rowell .

While her sheer size could justify her hefty price tag, her masterful interiors – which include a double-height dining saloon and a private owner's deck – are impressive enough to fathom the cost. With a sophisticated neutral colour palate and tactile furnishings, the 112-metre has been designed with multi-generational charter in mind. Across her six decks, Renaissance has an expansive beach club stocked with the latest water toys, plus a bar and waterside dining area. A large swimming pool sits on the main deck aft and there is an entire spa deck, which includes a fitness centre, hot and cold plunge pools, a steam room and sauna, treatment rooms and hair and beauty salons.

Renaissance is managed for charter with Burgess .

Lady Jorgia

Stats : 115.1 metres, Lürssen, 2022, 16 guests, 36 crew

Lady Jorgia (ex. Ahpo ) made waves when she left the shipyard at Lürssen with her striking duo-tone exterior and half-moon windows. The 115.1-metre superyacht hit the headlines earlier this year when she was sold in what was believed to be the biggest brokerage deal in history.

If her commercial helipad and world-class gym aren't enough to tempt you on board, perhaps the yacht's two-storey owner's suite or eight-metre swimming pool might. Wellness is at the heart of a charter on board Ahpo   seen in her nature-themed spa, complete with a massage room, Himalayan salt sauna and a Turkish-style hammam finished in vibrant mosaics and ivory onyx.

Nature is another theme that continues throughout the vessel, seen in the choice of artwork, the central staircase (which depicts an olive tree) and the grand dining room, which is themed around water lilies. She also has a full-time crew of 36, on hand to ensure that every whim is catered to.

Ahpo is managed for charter by Edmiston .

At 126 metres, Octopus is one of the largest superyachts in the world , so has plenty of space on board for amenities. She’s also well equipped for exploration, with two helipads and a hangar, storage for up to seven tenders, an ROV, Triton submarines and a fully-equipped dive centre . Across her eight decks, Octopus also boasts a glass-bottomed underwater observation lounge, a cinema, a heated freshwater swimming pool and multiple Jacuzzis, bars and al fresco entertaining areas.

Octopus is managed for charter by Camper & Nicholsons .

Other highlights on board include a spa, cinema, sundeck infinity pool, a business centre with a board room, a helipad and a beach club stocked with diving gear.

Dream is managed for charter by Hill Robinson.

Stats: 108 metres, Benetti, 2019, 12 guests, 30 crew

Bang for your buck : At 108 metres, Ije is Benetti ’s astounding flagship with exterior design by British design studio, RWD . But it's not just her elegant exterior that places her among the most expensive yacht for charter, as she features an incredible list of amenities including a gym, cinema, spa and nightclub with a DJ set up. Her interiors are bright thanks to her large windows and natural colour palette. With more than 1,000 square metres of outdoor deck space, Ije is an entertainer at heart, not to mention her large collection of water toys and swimming pools on board.

Ije is available to charter with Royal Yacht International.

Stats: 95.3 metres, Lürssen, 2019, 12 guests, 30 crew

Bang for your buck: One of the biggest launches of 2019, Madsummer is available for charter and she doesn't come at a small price. Featuring a 12-metre swimming pool and dedicated spa, there's plenty of opportunities to unwind on board. Primary charter guests can kick back in the colourful bridge deck master suite with a private aft terrace, while a foredeck helipad allows the charter party to arrive in style. There’s even a self-playing Steinway piano on board.

Madsummer is managed for charter by Moran Yacht & Ship .

Stats : 93 metres, Feadship, 2019, 12 guests, 31 crew

Bang for your buck : With a striking and well-balanced profile designed by the renowned Michael Leach, this 93-metre Feadship has long since dazzled the industry – earning her a deserved place as one of the most expensive superyachts for charter. A winner of the World Superyacht Awards 2020 , Lady S boasts a vast amount of space on board and a list of amenities that can keep you entertained at all times.

Standout features on board Lady S include a two-deck IMAX theatre, fully certified helipad and swimming pool. The yacht is also equipped with a number of sports facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball and football. Meanwhile, her Reymond Langton interior has been likened to a "beautiful and contemporary jewellery box".

Lady S is managed for charter by Edmiston.

Stats: 90m, Oceanco , 2018, 12 guests, 31 crew

Bang for your buck : Since she was delivered in 2018, the world has looked on in awe at her extraordinary glass atrium – constructed of seamless black glass that encloses the superstructure. In fact, Dar has around 390 square metres of glass in the superstructure alone, not counting doors and hull windows. Once inside, the result is said to be like floating in mid-air, with no boundaries or distortion and complete privacy, so there is a reason that she’s up there with the very finest superyachts to charter.

Designed by Luiz De Basto, Dar’ s exteriors are inspired by that of a hammerhead shark, with a well-balanced flowing profile, shapely wing stations, representing its wide-set eyes, and dorsal fin-style mast. She remains one of the most recognisable vessels in the fleet today, turning heads wherever she goes.

Dar is available for charter with Edmiston .

Yachts for sale

Man of steel.

Stats: 86 metres, Oceanco, 2010, 12 guests, 28 crew

Bang for your buck : Iconic Oceanco superyacht Man of Steel has only recently been offered for charter, so big spenders who book will be among the first guests to enjoy her since her delivery in 2010. Guests can arrive in style thanks to the helipad, and then spend their days on deck soaking up the sunshine in her two pools surrounded by sun loungers and al fresco dining spaces. Below deck, she boasts a state-of-the-art private cinema with tiered seating, a spa centre with a gym and resident therapist and an owner’s suite overlooking its own private Jacuzzi deck. A well-stocked toybox provides the likes of e-foils, dive gear, a Hoverboard and a jet board.

Man of Steel is managed by Ocean Independence . Not available for sale or charter to US residents while in US waters.

Stats: 95.2 metres, Lürssen , 2014, 12 guests and 28 crew.

Bang for your buck: Kismet has high-end entertaining in her DNA. The expansive yacht  was built by Shahid Khan , owner of Fulham Football Club and the Jacksonville Jaguars. She stands out with a glamorous interior by Reymond Langton , but it’s her calming outdoor spaces that set her apart – snuggle into a bamboo swing on the side deck or cuddle by the on-deck fire pit.

Kismet is managed for charter by  Moran Yacht & Ship .

A Tour of M/Y Flying Fox: The World’s Largest Charter Yacht

Rumoured to be owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos,  Lurssen’s  superyacht  Flying Fox is the largest charter yacht in the world. At 136m in length, it’s a truly incredible vessel, reflected in the eye-watering €3,00,000 weekly charter price. Amongst guests chartering the yacht are the likes of Logan and Jake Paul, and Beyonce and Jay-Z, truly making it a yacht for the elites of the world. We are taking you on a top-to-bottom tour of the Flying Fox, covering everything from guest suites to the tender garage.

Her exterior

The 7,000 square metres of Espen Øino’s undulating exterior contain a remarkable array of spaces, each conceived with originality by Øino, Mark Berryman, and the owner. These ideas were then completed with perfection by Lürssen. Imperial Yachts CEO Evgeniy Kochman, who personally attended over 50 meetings with the customer, studying over the GA for an average of 14 hours at a time, says the owner was extremely involved with every detail, “from the engine room to the observation deck.” The owner’s prior fleet of superyachts was instrumental in determining the design. “It seemed obvious to integrate their facilities into one fully operational superyacht,” Kochman adds.

Guest accommodation.

Flying Fox features 10 spacious guest suites. They are arranged in a row in front of the gym, allowing visitors to go straight from their beds to work out or have a morning swim. These rooms are all of the same sizes and open onto one of the long side decks, which divides into large fixed balconies in various configurations by hidden sliding panels. The spaces are modern and calming, made to induce a state of relaxation for guests chartering the yacht.

Step inside a guest suite aboard Flying fox yacht

On the upper deck, the master suite is located. It continues following the same design sensibilities and embellishments found in the guest suites, creating a cohesive experience throughout the vessel. A 48-square-metre bathroom is centred with an oval bath and a large shower that are all spaced outboard for views through double-fronted sliding doors onto the vast private terrace that runs around the front of the suite.

The owner’s suite is another spectacular space, fitted with his and hers dressing rooms, a cosy living room, and a spa pool, located on the enormous private terrace. Additionally, the suite houses multiple workspaces – a meeting room and the owner’s office, accessed through a studio.

Social living spaces

When it comes to social living spaces, the saloon found to Port on the Upper Deck is the perfect place for friends and family to gather. It’s a leafy space, full of plants including two spectacular ficus trees. The lush plants are all on automated watering schedules to ensure they remain healthy. Bringing a sense of cosiness to the saloon is a real wood fireplace. It works like a typical fireplace, but with insulated ducts that route smoke up the mast with the help of forced extraction.

A dining saloon adjacent to the bridge deck saloon features a large table to seat all the yacht’s guests. A centre tank, complete with vibrant artificial corals, gives a pop of colour while also separating the areas (which can be entirely sequestered using sliding screens). The dining area features an open, outdoor kitchen that allows guests to sit at the counter and watch the chef work, or at the extendable dining table.

The facilities

Alongside all the amazing living spaces, Flying Fox also houses many luxurious facilities for guests to enjoy.

There’s a well-stocked superyacht gym full of the latest gym equipment, a terrace for fresh-air yoga, and a gym “menu” spelling out what’s on offer for more energetic guests. It’s staffed by ex-British military instructors to give guests much-needed motivation to complete their workouts.

Alongside the gym is the vessel’s impressive 400sqm 2-floor Spa. It features heated limestone floors and louvred oak panelling centrepieces, providing individuals wishing to escape the outer world.

Sit inside the 136m charter yachts calming spa

Perhaps the most breathtaking addition to the yacht is her spectacular pool. The 12-meter swimming pool, which runs transversely on the main deck, is a technological feat and a first for a superyacht of this size.

Toys and tenders

Flying Fox yacht houses a wide range of toys and tenders in her expansive tender garage. Inside, you can find five tenders and a plethora of toys ranging from flyboards and hoverboards to Seabobs and windsurfs. The facility is also designed to suit the requirements for using gasoline to fuel the tenders. Here is a full list of all the toys and tenders onboard:

WHEN you picture beach clubs, helipads, gyms and cinemas, do you picture them on land or floating in the middle of the ocean?

Well the 10 biggest superyachts in the world feature all those and more, and we've got the details on all of them for you.

Here are the 10 biggest superyachts in the world

1. Azzam - 590ft

Azzam has held the record for the world's largest privately-owned superyacht since it was constructed in 2013.

The ship cost an estimated $605m to build, and can accommodate up to 36 guests and 80 cabin crew.

It is equipped with an onboard gym, swimming pool and even a golf training room.

Azzam is the longest superyacht in the world

2. Fulk Al Salamah - 538ft

Translated into 'ship of peace', Fulk Al Salamah has been in service with the Royal Navy of Oman since construction in 2016.

It became the second biggest superyacht in the world when it was built and has remained in that position.

3. eclipse - 533ft.

Owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Eclipse cost an estimated $500m to build back in 2009.

At 533ft long, Eclipse was the world's biggest superyacht until Azzam was constructed four years later.

The ship is fitted with 18 guest cabins and can accommodate up to 36 guests and 66 crew members.

Its stand-out features include two helipads, a wood-burning fire pit and a 16m swimming pool that transforms into a dance floor.

Eclipse was the biggest in the world, but only for four years

4. Dubai - 531ft

At just two feet shorter, Dubai is the fourth largest superyacht in the world at 531ft.

The ship was commissioned in 1995 but work was not completed until 2006 and cost an estimated $400m.

From 2006 to 2009, it was the world's largest superyacht.

Ob board, Dubai's eight decks boast a disco, a cinema, a submarine and a lobster tank.

The Dubai has a disco, cinema and even a submarine for trips

5. Dilbar - 512ft

Named after the late mother of the owner, Uzbekistan-born billionaire Alisher Usmanov, Dilbar was built in 2016.

The ship can accommodate up to 24 guests and 100 crew.

Guests who don't fancy going over the side are well-catered for, as Dilbar is the only superyacht in the world to feature a 25m swimming pool.

It also has a large garden and two helipads.

Even at sea, you can get some greenery with two gardens on the ship

6. Prince Abdulaziz - 482ft

Built in 1984, Prince Abdulaziz held the title of the longest and tallest yacht in the world for an impressive 22 years.

It was overtaken by Dubai in 2006, which is 49ft longer.

Prince Abdulaziz is one of the royal yachts of the Saudi royal family.

It can accommodate up to 64 guests onboard and between 60 and 65 crew.

The Prince Abdulaziz is one of the older ships making the top list

7. A+ (previously Topaz) - 482ft

Previously named Topaz, A+ was built in 2012 and cost approximately $527m.

With a huge number of features, A+ would be a great place to entertain guests.

The boat is equipped with an on deck jacuzzi, two helicopter landing pads, swimming pool, tender garage, fitness hall, cinema and a large conference room.

Why have just one helipad, with A+ having two

8. El Mahrousa - 478ft

El Mahrousa was built in 1865 on the River Thames and held the title for world's biggest yacht for more than 100 years.

It was designed by British naval architect Oliver Lang for the Ottoman governor of Egypt.

Translated to 'the protected', El Mahrousa became the first ship to cross the Suez Canal back in 1869 and has since been a naval training ship for the Egyptian government.

It is the oldest active superyacht in the world.

9. Nord - 466ft

The newest superyacht on the list, Nord was only completed this year.

Nord gives Dilbar a run for its money with a huge list of fun features.

These include a gym, elevator, swimming pool, cinema, tender garage, swimming pool, barbecue, beach club, spa room, sauna and beauty salon.

The ship also has two helicopter pads, one on the bow of the yacht and one on the top deck.

The Nord is the newest ship and has everything from a swimming pool to a beauty spa

Travis Scott taking break from world tour with mega yacht trip

Posted: July 16, 2024 | Last updated: July 16, 2024

Travis Scott was spotted taking a break from his world tour with a visit to an exclusive restaurant on a multi-million dollar yacht. Kylie Jenner’s ex was spotted leaving the picturesque Vieux Port de Cannes and onlookers said he later pitched up at La Guerite - a stunning seafood spot which is only accessible by boat. He is currently on a world tour and was spotted in Cannes the day after a gig in Nice, France - and before a show in Antwerp, Belgium, the next day. The star, 33, looked to have put his reported brush with the law in Miami behind him as he strolled along the dock. The artist, from Houston, Texas, who has two children with ex Kylie Jenner, was filmed by a passerby who was sat in a restaurant opposite his boat, on July 8. They said he left port at 8pm and arrived back at 10:30pm. The onlooker said: "I saw a few people gathering about the boat. "I saw his security detail starting to scream at people. "I went to take a closer look and noticed it was Travis Scott. "When they pulled out of port they were jamming their music very loud. "They were having drinks and chilling on the boat. "The women largely stayed inside." Travis’s 2024 leg of his UTOPIA - Circus Maximus Tour will see him play 12 arenas across the UK and Europe. He is in Hamburg, Germany, tonight (16). Last month he was arrested in Miami for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, according to reports. He was booked for causing a disturbance on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina in June.

Demonstrating the true scope of her go-anywhere expedition capabilities, the 85m (280’) explorer yacht BOLD is embarking on an ambitious adventure across the oceans: and she’s giving you the chance to get involved.

Forget standard itineraries and traditional destinations; with a yacht like BOLD , adventure is the name of the game.

Over the next few months, this one-of-a-kind explorer yacht will be going off the beaten path to explore some of the most far-flung corners of the planet. These are the destinations and experiences that charterers rarely get to discover.

From the fjords of Norway to the incredible culture found in Papua New Guinea, the itinerary has been carefully curated to satisfy even the most curious charterers and leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

You can now book BOLD in any of the destinations outlined below, with some scope for flexibility.

November 2020

sandy beach and mountain backdrop in oman

Spanning 3,000km of coastline, Oman 's electric blue seas and pristine reefs remain one of the best-kept secrets in the world. The unique topography of the region lends itself perfectly to chartering a yacht, with plenty of secret coves, tiny inlets and desert-like swathes of beaches nestled between towering mountains which can only be accessed by sea.

There are no dull days while chartering here; mornings can be spent snorkelling in the sun-warmed Arabian Sea, followed by a hike through the rocky foothills that border the water. Evenings are best enjoyed at anchor, stargazing beneath a clear sky; but be sure to dedicate some time to exploring the architecture of the marble cities and towns that are dotted up and down the coast.

The incredibly unique terrain of this region is best seen from above; and luckily BOLD's Leonardo AW109 is on hand to provide a birds-eye perspective.

The Maldives

December 2020.

The mystical Maldives is the perfect destination for scuba pros and those looking to get up close and personal with marine life. Thousands of islands and atolls are scattered across the ocean, with sugar-soft sandbanks and castaway tropical islands rising up from the miles of blue. The Maldives supports a flourishing ecosystem of everything from kaleidoscopic coral through to the world’s largest fish; the whale shark. BOLD's tenders are on hand to act as a dive chase boat if you're interested in swimming alongside these gentle giants, and the motor yacht will be able to access all the of the region's finest dive sites with ease.

In between atoll-hopping through the Indian Ocean , there are a selection of luxury resorts and private islands for anyone looking to spend a day on shore. Underwater spas and overwater bars beckon; but for those who'd prefer to stay off the beaten path, there are also countless hidden beaches and islets at the reserve of those visiting by yacht. Have your crew whip up your favorite drink, and you'll quickly find that an isolated sandbar beats any on-land bar.

Thailand, Singapore and the Andaman Islands

January 2021.

limestone karsts in the andaman islands in the south east asia

Rich in culture and heritage,  South East Asia  promises an intoxicating blend of natural beauty and buzzy city life. Thailand 's iconic islands create ample itineraries throughout Phang Nga Bay, a large area of which is a nature reserve. It's easy to understand why, when you cruise through the emerald bays admiring the swirls of sandbars and iconic limestone karsts shooting up from the shallow water. In Singapore , these Jurassic jungles give way to the bustle and bright lights of city life, and this futuristic hub is home to numerous bars, restaurants and cultural attractions.

The Andaman Islands are an intriguing contrast to the more traditionally popular islands in the Phang Nga Bay, which have escaped the brunt of mainstream tourism and remain largely untouched. You're not likely to come across many other yachts here; you're more likely to share these waters with humpback and blue whales.

While cruising across South East Asia promises incredible opportunities for snorkelling, kayaking and beach picnics, there’s also a lot to see on shore, from temples and monuments to natural attractions and hidden wonders.

BOLD will be going down under back to her roots in February- she's the largest Australian-built yacht in the world, but this will be her first time chartering in her homeland. She will be available across Australia, chartering everywhere from Shark Bay and Ningaloo Reef to the Great Barrier Reef  and the Whitsundays.

Cruising these expansive coastlines requires serious muscle, and luckily BOLD is equipped with just that. Wherever you go, you'll be transported in supreme comfort and luxury. Charterers eager to explore the gems of Australia will be able to discover all that this wild country has to offer with the flexibility, comfort and six-star luxury of a superyacht. Spend your days discovering footprint-free beaches in the Whitsundays or spotting dingoes and rare birds at Great Sandy National Park.

The South Pacific Islands

Summer 2021.

There are few charter destinations as revered as the shores of the South Pacific. Papua New Guinea and the surrounding 25,000 islands offer an experience unlike anywhere else on the planet, with culture and heritage that’s been incredibly well-preserved over the years.

The tribal customs of this Papua New Guinea are well-known across the globe, and you’ll have the chance to observe the local people and their culture in all of its glory here. Most of the communities are friendly and welcoming of those who have stepped on shore to learn and appreciate their way of life. Arrange to trek through the banana plantations or rent a small wooden boat to row through the shallow waters between islets, and be sure to dive and discover the metropolis of marine life that exists below the surface.

BOLD is now giving you the chance to watch the Solar Eclipse around the Antarctic Peninsula. This is a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as it won't be observed here for another 400 years. Set to take place in the early hours of December 4 2021, BOLD will be able to find the perfect position to see it happening, and you can take in this other-worldly experience from the on-deck jacuzzi or the elegant Wintergarden.

Chartering around Antarctica , you'll be able to get the most from your time in this awe-inspiring and incredibly unique part of the globe. Icebergs rise up from a blindingly blue sea, and landscapes coated in snow form the backdrop to every morning cup of coffee or evening aperitif you'll enjoy while chartering here. Kayak through the icy water and see the intricate ice formations below the sea's surface, and get up close to penguins and whales in their natural habitat.

In Chile and Argentina, you can expect mild temperatures and glorious scenery as the seasons shift from spring to summer. Glacial shelves, like the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, can be seen here, alongside snow-capped mountains and bright blue lakes in all of their glory.

From the glitz and glamour of St Barts to the tranquil beauty of the USVI's, the Caribbean encompasses so many islands; your biggest problem will be choosing where to start.

Mexico is a great spot for something a little different from the mainstream Caribbean, with the same palm-tree lined coasts and blue seas, with an extra dose of ancient history and culture. Step on shore to see the remains of ancient Mayan civilizations and go below the surface of the sea to explore the kaleidoscope of color that exists here.

For thrill-seekers, the charms of the Bahamas offer countless spots for watersports, as well as the chance to swim in shark hotspots and see these predators up close. The myriad of yacht charter attractions in the Bahamas never go out of style, and there are so many things to see and do- you'll find something new to fall in love with every time.

Stavanger (Norway)

STAVANGER, FROM THE OUTSKIRTS TO THE OLD TOWN WITH CIDER TASTING

Norway - Stavanger

Famous for its oil industry, Stavanger offers much more to its visitors. This approximately four-hour excursion lets you discover the beauty of its surroundings and a city that stretches out in an open landscape, unprotected by Norway's imposing mountains. The journey begins with a scenic 90-minute coastal route, featuring highlights such as the medieval church Sola Ruinkyrkje—an important navigational point for the Jæren coast until the 19th century—the Solastranden beach, popular among surfers and kiters, and the quaint town of Ølberg.

Next, you'll visit the suburb of Hafrsfjord, renowned for its three 10-meter-high bronze swords embedded in the rock. Created by sculptor Fritz Røed, these swords commemorate the battle of 872 and Viking King Harald's victory, which unified Norway. The tallest sword represents the victorious king, while the other two signify his defeated challengers.

Upon returning to Stavanger, you'll pass the petroleum museum and embark on a 30-minute walk to Gamle, the historic center filled with perfectly preserved wooden buildings, some dating back to the 18th century. This charming stroll through the old town will conclude at a local café, where you'll enjoy a 75-minute break to savor cider, affectionately called "Norwegian champagne." Known for its ancient production methods, Norwegian cider is highly esteemed worldwide, and we are confident you'll appreciate it after a taste.

Luann de Lesseps

Luann de Lesseps is having a chicly chaotic summer that includes a banged-up car door, banging on the bongos and maybe some plain ol’ banging.

We hear the reality star was spotted last week getting into a fender bender on her way to see the Broadway musical  “Cabaret.” While attempting to exit her chauffeur-driven car, “de Lesseps’ driver swung open the rear door directly into traffic when a fast-moving vehicle nearly swiped the door clear off its hinges.” We’re told that while the door stayed on the car, it “was bent out of shape.”

And the whole kerfuffle caused a traffic jam on West 53rd Street.

That didn’t deter de Lesseps from making a beeline directly to the theater, where ex-castmate Dorinda Medley was waiting in the VIP lounge with their tickets, says a spy.

Luann de Lesseps

A spy tells us the pair partook in tipping back some bubbly during the hit Eddie Redmayne show, which has had issues with tipsy guests .

Luann de Lesseps

Meanwhile, de Lesseps ended up onstage playing the bongos during a Gipsy Kings concert in the Hamptons last weekend before making out with a mystery man.

Spies tell us they saw de Lesseps and “Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell dancing during the concert at Greek hot spot Calissa in Water Mill when the reality star “was feeling the vibes so much that she got up on the stage to play the bongos.”

Later, spies say the Bravolebrity was making out with a “tall, handsome man in a corner of the restaurant — who she left with later that night.”

Barracuda Championship provides DP World Tour members with another US-based playing opportunity

Running in parallel with The 152nd Open, the Barracuda Championship offers 50 spots to DP World Tour members to compete in a second consecutive US-based tournament.

Barracuda Championship-2161832168

As part of the Strategic Alliance between the PGA TOUR and the DP World Tour, the tournament features a field of 156 players with the winner receiving benefits on each Tour:

  • FedExCup points: 300
  • DP World Tour Rankings points: 710
  • PGA TOUR exemption (for current PGA TOUR members): through 2026
  • PGA TOUR exemption (for non-members): through 2025
  • DP World Tour exemption: through 2026

Held in Truckee, California, the Barracuda Championship is the only Modified Stableford event on both Tours.

New in 2024, the tournament has elected to switch the nines at Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood course. The par five 11th and 15th and the drivable par four 17th all now feature on the tournament’s closing stretch.

Dylan Frittelli of South Africa is the highest ranked DP World Tour member on the season-long Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex teeing it up.

He won his third DP World Tour title earlier this season in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is one of 24 players in the field at the Barracuda Championship who competed at last week's Genesis Scottish Open.

Another of those is Maximilian Kieffer , who finished tied 21st in the co-sanctioned event with the PGA TOUR at The Renaissance Club.

And after Richard Mansell earned a last-minute exemption into the Open Championship at Royal Troon via the Genesis Scottish Open, the German has teamed up with a caddie who was set to work alongside Mansell until the England carded a closing 61 to claim a prized berth for the final Major on the west of Scotland.

After his tied sixth finish last week at the ISCO Championship, which was won by Harry Hall in a play-off, Englishman Sam Bairstow looks to impress again on the other side of the Atlantic.

  • Barracuda Championship: Entry List
  • Barracuda Championship: Tee times

He is joined by among others Jordan Gumberg , who competed at the Scottish Open and is another winner so far this season on the DP World Tour following his triumph at the SDC Championship in his homeland of South Africa.

Alex Fitzpatrick is another who has made the journey from Scotland to the United States, with the Barracuda Championship preceding a three-week summer break on the DP World Tour schedule away from the limited-size field at the Olympic Games in France.

Last year, Akshay Bhatia birdied the 72nd hole to tie Patrick Rodgers and then won the play-off with a par.

It was Bhatia’s first PGA TOUR title after he earned Special Temporary Membership earlier in the season after finishing runner-up at the Puerto Rico Open. France’s Julien Guerrier fired the round of the week, +20, to tie for third along with Sweden's Jens Dantorp three points out of the play-off.
