7 Beginner Tips for Ghost Watchers
Ghost Watchers has several mechanics to the game that might be a learning curve for some players, but these tips will help any beginner.
Ghost Watchers is a game all about cooperating with multiple players to study, hunt, weaken and trap ghosts for money. It is an interesting concept that not many other games have explored in the past, and relies heavily on learning more about what a particular ghost is and what a player needs to fend them off.

However, there are some players that may struggle with the initial learning curve of Ghost Watchers , and can not really get a good grip on the game. There are some beginner tips for newer players - even some veteran players could benefit from - to know before they dive in to Ghost Watchers .

7 Use The Voodoo Doll
There are many ways for a player to identify the ghost while playing through Ghost Watchers . This is one of the most important parts of game play - depending on what the ghost interacts with, a player can be able to effectively identify just what they are dealing with.
The voodoo doll is one of the best ways to identify a ghost. Usually, a player can toss this doll right next to an ouija board, and then wait a few minutes; whether the ghost interacts with the doll, the board, both, or neither, it will tell the player what the ghost is.
6 Keep An Eye On The Thermometer
The thermometer is also one of the best items for a player to use while hunting for ghosts. It may not seem like it at first , but the thermometer can actually be one of the most important tools to have.
The player should keep an eye on the thermometer, as sudden spikes in either heat or cold will be a good way to tell when a ghost is nearby. The temperature of the house will fluctuate between specific temperatures, and anything that deviates too far is an indicator of a ghost.
5 Go Through The Objectives To Earn Money
As a player will soon find out, there are multiple things that a player should do while setting up for their ghost hunting. While it is possible for a player to brute force their way into identifying a ghost, that would not be a good idea.
There is a list of objectives that a player will have to go through if they want to earn some money. By guessing what ghost it is , there is a very high chance of not completing all - if any - objectives, causing the player to lose out on money.
4 It's Best To Bring Items That Protect
When a ghost is identified, they will get upset. A ghost will try and do anything in their power to stop a player from getting rid of them, which can include grabbing, clawing or trying to carry the player away.
Related: Horror Games With The Most Replay Value
It is best for a player to bring objects that can protect them from the ghost. There are three categories of protection objects - Protects, Protects and Irritates, and Doesn't Protect; it would be best for a player to stock up everything in the first two categories, and never get anything in the third.
3 It Is Still A Good Idea To Irritate The Ghost
While a player may think that getting objects that protect them but does irritate the ghost is a bad idea, it can actually be pretty useful for a player. If nothing else, a player will be able to protect themselves with it.
On top of this, grabbing an item that irritates the ghost will actually help a player to lure it out while getting ready to capture it. A ghost may run away without it , but getting an item that irritates the ghost will make capturing much easier.
2 Leave Items Outside The House
Surprisingly, it is a real good idea for a player to leave all of their items at the entrance of the house. This includes all of their protection items - including the ones that irritate - but a player will still have to take things like their ouija board and thermometer.
It is good for a player to leave these items right at the entrance, as it will make it much easier for a player to grab them. It is much better than leaving the items scattered throughout the house and trying to find them all with a ghost behind the player, after all.
1 Grab The Cursed Item And Run For It
The main objective of game play is not only to hunt down ghosts, but also to find a cursed objec t in the house as well. It can be located just about anywhere, so a player really needs to keep their eyes peeled.
Once a player grabs the cursed object, they need to run for it. The ghost will not be happy with them, and a player needs to get outside the house as quickly as possible. This will ensure that they will be able to use their protection objects, and the team with them will be able to capture the ghost.

Ghost Watchers: Ultimate Beginner’s Guide – Essential Tips & Tricks to Get You Started

Since the release of Phasmophobia in 2020, the indie horror game scene has exploded. Whether they utilize a similar co-op style of gameplay or opt for a more single-player focus, the goal remains the same: bone-chilling, spine-tingling terror.
One game that goes above and beyond to make sure its players go to bed with nightmares is Ghost Watchers. This new co-op survival horror game uses the Phasmophobia 4-player formula but ups the ante considerably in terms of ghost design and mechanics.
Since Ghost Watchers is so new, players are still getting to know the game and learning its many nuances. Additionally, the game is in Early Access, so things are likely to change as development continues. But, if you want to be the best ghost watcher as soon as possible, you’ll find some awesome tips & tricks in this Ghost Watchers Beginner’s Guide. When you’re ready to cross the threshold and face ethereal beings, gather up your courage, and let’s get started!
Use the Particle Counter
You’ll have access to a huge variety of ghost hunting tools as you progress through Ghost Watchers, but one that many players might overlook is the particle counter. This tool can be used to locate a ghost even early on in a match.
In fact, that is probably the best time to use the particle counter. Take it out at the beginning of the match and you can find out where the ghost is and the path it is patrolling early, which will save you some time and stress when things start to get stressful.
Listen for the Beep
When using the temperature gun to look for evidence, you might be confused as to if you found some evidence or if you just bumped into a minor temperature fluctuation. Upon the game’s initial launch, you really just had to guess, but as part of the game’s Early Access development, the developers added an audible beep when you’ve encountered some evidence.

So as long as you’re keeping an ear out for the unique beeping noise, you’ll know for sure when you’ve found something that can be useful to your investigation.
Let These Tools Warm Up
The Voodoo Doll and Ouija Board are both great tools to use during any investigation, but they are so powerful that they have a set warm-up time that must elapse before they can actually be used. Even worse, these tools need to be in the investigation area before they can begin warming up.
If you intend to use either or both of these tools, then it would be a good idea to bring them in early in the investigation so that they are ready by the time you need them.
In video games, you might feel a little braver in certain situations than you might be in real life. For instance, if you saw a ghost or another terrifying entity peeking around a corner, staring at you, you’d probably either freeze in place or run away.

But, many Ghost Watchers players do the exact opposite and walk right up to that ghost around the corner. DON’T DO THAT. That is one of the primary ways to trigger an uninterruptible instant kill on you, especially if you don’t have a protection item in your loadout. So do what you would do in real life, and run away in those situations.
Optional Objectives
You can go into any investigation and just hunt the ghost down, but there are also always a few optional objectives that you can complete to earn some extra money. These objectives can be viewed back at the van.
When you complete an optional objective, a specific sound will play. There’s currently no way to check to see if you’ve completed an objective outside of the van, so listen for the sound to prevent making extra trips outside the investigation zone.
Order of Operations
For each kind of spirit, there is a specific set of instructions you’ll have to follow to weaken it. These instructions are usually not too complicated, though they are several steps long. However, it is very important that you complete each step in the order it is presented.
If you attempt to complete the steps out of order, you won’t have to start the process over again completely, but you will need to do the step you just completed again in its proper order.
I hope the tips in this Ghost Watchers Beginner’s Guide help you when you’re in the middle of a stressful investigation. Remember to be brave, stay cool, and run away when it is necessary!

Ghost Watchers: Beginners Guide (Items, Tools, Mission Objectives and How to Catch Ghost)
In this guide I will do my best to teach you how to use each item tool, do mission objectives, and hopefully catch the ghost.
Tools & Ghosts Types
Tools I will be grouping some of the tools together because the ones selected will help you determine either the ghost’s type , age , or mood .
These tools will help you determine what type of ghost it is .
- Thermometer – The thermometer has 4 selections you can choose from. Go around the map with it in hand and detect the temperature of the ghost that you are looking for.
- EMF Sensor – The EMF, again, has 4 selections you can choose from. Go around the map with it in hand and detect what level of EMF the ghost is giving off.
- UV Flashlight – The UV Flashlight, you guessed it, has 4 selections you can choose from. Go around the map with it flashing the floor to see what symbol you can find. (Tip: Once you have determined the Thermometer and EMF Sensor, you won’t really need to find footprints with the UV Light.)
These tools will help you determine the Ghost’s age.
- Particle Counter – The Particle Counter has 2 selections you can choose from. Go around the map with it to complete it to 100% and it will give you the selection you need.
- Ouija Board – The Ouija Board has 3 selections you can choose from. When the ghost has crossed paths with it or is near it the triangle piece will either go side to side or randomly all over the board. Sometimes the ghost will not respond to the Ouija Board as well so keep that in mind.
These tools will help you determine the Ghost’s mood.
- Radio – The radio has 2 selections you can choose from. Go around the map with the Radio while holding (V) asking “Can you talk” to determine if the ghost is crying or growling.
- VooDoo Doll – The Doll has 3 selections you can choose from. Just like the Ouija Board, the ghost sometimes will not respond to the doll as well. When it crosses paths or is near the ghosts, the doll will either get thrown or be lifted by the ghosts.
These tools will help you fend off a ghosts attack.
- Plasma Absorber – When you sense that a ghost is about to attack, go near Plasma Absorber for it to protect you. (Tip: It won’t protect you from all ghosts attack.)
- Withering Light – Same thing as the Plasma Absorber.
- Christ Statue – The Christ Statue has three charges that will fend off the ghost when it is about to attack you. Once the ghost does attack you, one of the three charges will be used. After three uses the Statue will be destroyed.
- Incense – Same as Christ Statue.
- Cross – Same as Christ Statue.
These tools will help you weakened the ghosts once you have determined the ghost type, age, and mood. (Tip: Once you see the ghosts appear, just left click and throw the item at the ghost.)
- Golden Bomb
- Silver Bomb
The last remaining tool that I will mention is the Ghost Catcher.
- Ghost Catcher (Pokeball) – Once you have completed weakening the ghost, left click and throw the Ghost Catcher at the ghost to catch it.
The rest of the tools aren’t really necessary for you to complete your mission so I’m not gonna go in depth with them. Also they are pretty self explanatory.
Beginning Go determine what the ghost type, age, and mood is with the tools that are given to you already in the van. (Optional) – You can look at the tasks board and go do the tasks that the board asks for some extra cash.
Middle Once you have determined the ghost type, age, and mood. You can click on “weakening the ghost” and a list of tasks will pop up for you to follow. You must do each tasks in order for the ghost to be weakened enough for you to capture it.

Ghost Watchers: How to Talk to Ghosts – all Commands

To find out certain details in Ghost Watchers , you’ll have to talk to the ghosts over the radio. In order to be successful, there are certain commands that you’ll have to say in English. We’ll tell you what those voice commands are!
Here’s the deal: Similar to the ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia, in Ghost Watchers, you can talk to the ghosts and find out what kind of ghost it is. However, for the ghost to respond – and it always does – you have to use certain voice commands.
How to Talk to a Ghost in Ghost Watchers
To talk to a ghost in Ghost Watchers and get a reaction, you need the radio. You generally have the item with you in every mission, you need to take it from the van to the haunted house. You can either hold the radio in your hand or put it somewhere where the ghost is. After that, you have to talk to the ghost via the in-game voice chat and hope that it answers.
It’s important to note that you can only use certain voice commands at the moment and only in English. The ghost will not respond to anything else. Also, make sure that you are in the room where the ghost is at the moment, otherwise, there will be no reaction either.
All Voice Commands in Ghost Watchers

Currently, there are 7 voice commands that you need to perform in English to trigger a growl or cry of the ghost. These commands are:
With these 7 simple questions, you can trigger various reactions of the ghost and thus speed up the search. But be careful not to make the ghost aggressive too quickly, so as not to make the hunt unnecessarily difficult for you and your friends.

Ghost Watchers: Complete Beginners Guide
Who you gonna call ghost watchers.

Ghost Watchers, who are probably the Ghostbusters illegitimate child, is a horror game designed to make you and your team work together in order to capture the ghost. In the game, you are tasked with identifying the ghost and figuring out how to weaken it enough to capture it. Sounds simple, right? But actually, doing it can be a bit of a challenge, since you’re going to be freaking out half of the time due to the ghost actually harming you and your team. In this guide, we’ll show you how to catch a ghost quickly.
Complete Beginners Guide – Ghost Watchers

The first thing you’ll be doing when starting a game is weakening the ghost. But before that, you need to follow certain tasks. This can range from opening all doors or turning off all lights. It will be listed in the objectives when weakening the ghost.
Always bring protection with you (no, not that kind) when dealing with ghosts. In the same objectives screen, you will see a list of items on the right side. You will see three categories: Protects, Protects and Irritate, and Doesn’t Protect.
Obviously, you’ll want to avoid items that falls in the Doesn’t Protect category. But in Protects, bring as much as you can. In the Protects and Irritate category, bring at least one of the listed items. This will bring out the ghost when going for the capture.

With the items in your possession, it’s time to venture inside the house. However, leave the items at the entrance of the house. This will make it easier to collect them later. You then have to find the curse object that can be found anywhere in the house. You’ll have to find it while simultaneously avoiding the ghost. Or at least hoping you can avoid it.
Once you have the item, book it to the entrance of the house where the items are located. The ghost will then try to grab you, or spook you by appearing. Either way, you’re going to be the target, and it’s up to your teammates to make sure you don’t die and they capture ghost.
When you feel the ghost grab you, or you see the ghost, make sure to communicate with your team so they can capture the ghost. Voila! You’ve caught yourself a ghost. Sure, you probably had an accident in your pants, but it’s a job well done.

After losing control and causing harm to another person, he apologizes and asks for forgiveness. The Otis family arrive from the United States and aren't scared of Sir Simon. Hiram Otis behaves rationally toward Sir Simon and approaches him with curiosity. Teen girl Virginia doesn't like her new home and bets Sir Simon that he can't scare away the family in the hope that he'll manage it. She is adventurous and bold, and eventually helps Sir Simon reunite with his wife. Twin siblings Kent and Louis are often rude and enjoy playing pranks.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that The Canterville Ghost is an animated adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic ghost story. Set in Victorian England, the movie's culture-clash set-up centers on an American family moving into a house that's been haunted by the ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville (voiced by Stephen Fry ) for the past 300 years. He tries to scare them away, but they're more curious than terrified. The movie has scary moments; nothing gets too intense, but there is quite a bit of discussion around death. The Grim Reaper ( Hugh Laurie ) holds a sand timer to represent life and says that it goes by quickly, with the moral being to make the most of it. A character is accused of murdering his wife, and a young couple strikes up a chaste relationship. Violence includes sword fights and danger/peril when a character is trapped under a chandelier in a burning building. Another character dies during a scene in which she's helping someone but ( spoiler alert ) is revived. The film has positive messages about friendship and teamwork. What's the Story?
In THE CANTERVILLE GHOST, grumpy ghost Sir Simon de Canterville (voiced by Stephen Fry ) has scared away everyone from his house for the past 300 years. But he meets his match when the Otis family move in and refuse to be afraid.
Is It Any Good?
This functional retelling of the Oscar Wilde ghost story provides enough entertainment for younger viewers venturing into the world of spooky movies. The Canterville Ghost is lighthearted but suitably gothic, and comic relief is provided by a cocky pair of prankster brothers. Fry gives a spirited performance as the grumpy ghost, Sir Simon De Canterville, and is reunited with his former comedy partner Hugh Laurie , although his role as the Grim Reaper is fleeting. Indeed the concept of death haunts the movie, which may be troubling for the youngest of viewers, although it strongly presents the idea of an afterlife. Elsewhere Miranda Hart 's wacky ghosthunter, The Ghost Catcher, grates. The Haunting of Russell Kirk

R ussell Kirk was haunted by the past. Ghosts prowled his house, peering through windows, moving furniture, startling guests. Far from resenting these presences, Kirk welcomed them. For he regarded society as “a spiritual union of the dead, the living, and those yet unborn.” He propounded this view in studies that helped to define the conservative movement as it emerged in the mid-twentieth century. But he expressed it most vividly in supernatural tales that reveal the gothic cast of the conservative mind.
Kirk began writing ghost stories to supplement his income while a student at the University of St Andrews. By the end of his life, he had written twenty-two ghost stories and two gothic novels, a modest output representing a significant accomplishment. Washington Post book critic Michael Dirda has called Kirk “the greatest American author of ghostly tales in the classic style, at least of the post–World War II era,” and it is hard to disagree.
Though Kirk is known as a defender of order, he tends in his fiction to side with eccentrics and rebels who defy propriety for the sake of something higher. “I’d rather be scandalous than damned,” says the heroine of “Sorworth Place.” And so she scandalously asks a man to stay the night in order to guard her from a spirit that would drag her down to hell. “The relish for risk, denial, experience far out of the ordinary moves sinners and saints both,” the narrator observes in “Lex Talionis.” In that story, as in others, Kirk chooses as his hero an ex-convict.
Kirk’s sympathy encompasses the ghosts themselves. M. R. James, one of the form’s great practitioners, held that the specter in a ghost story always “should be malevolent or odious.” Kirk stood this dictum on its head by depicting ghosts who are friends to the innocent and guides to the lost. For James, a ghost’s touch—hairy, clammy, dead yet moving—is terrible. For Kirk, it can be strangely comforting. In “An Encounter by Mortstone Pond,” Kirk describes an orphan boy who recently buried his mother. One day the boy’s sad thoughts are interrupted by the frightening realization that some spirit has drawn near. But then, inaudibly, words of comfort come to him, and he feels “the faintest pressure upon his right hand.” Someone, somehow, has eased his suffering.
Here and in other stories, it is easy to detect the influence of Kirk’s religious background. For Kirk’s family had long been drawn to the spiritualist ideas derived from Emanuel Swedenborg. A spiritualist chapel had once stood on the site of his family’s house in Mecosta, Michigan, and in the 1880s, Kirk’s great-grandmother held séances in her parlor, levitating in her rocking chair. Dead kinsmen communicated with the living. “I was shot, shot, shot to pieces,” reported one who had died in the Civil War.
Kirk, who converted to Catholicism in middle age, suggested that “the more orthodox is a writer’s theology, the more convincing, as symbols and allegories, his uncanny tales will be.” Certainly a belief that the soul outlasts life, and that good and evil are real and distinct, is essential for classic stories of the supernatural. But it is notable that the first master of the ghost story, J. Sheridan Le Fanu, was drawn to, and drew upon, the teachings of Swedenborg. If the biographies of Le Fanu and Kirk are any indication, the ghost story owes more to the strange spiritual currents of the nineteenth century than to the Nicene Creed.
It is worth asking how far these metaphysical speculations went in shaping Kirk’s conservative outlook. Conservatives often praise tradition as a “democracy of the dead,” and Kirk’s intellectual hero, Edmund Burke, argued that the state was nothing less than a part of a “great primaeval contract of eternal society” connecting “the visible and invisible world.” Kirk’s stories propose that we take these ideas literally. For him, the world is one great haunted house, in which the dead and the living continue to interact.
The line Kirk draws between the dead and the living is so indistinct, it can be hard to know which side you’re on. In “There’s a Long, Long Trail A-Winding,” a man seeks refuge from a snowstorm in a grand, unoccupied house. As he admires its “apple-pie order,” he finds himself drawn to the portraits of its departed inhabitants. He dreams that he is among them in happier times, and he begins to see their shades. Only later does he realize that he has come to that particular house on that particular day because he is himself a ghost, fated to re-enact the events of his final day on earth.
K irk was fond of quoting Burke’s remark on the vain and fleeting nature of life—“What shadows we are, and what shadows we pursue!”—and several of his stories take up the idea that however firm and whole we imagine ourselves to be, we are only dim reflections of a more substantial reality. In “Watchers at the Strait Gate,” a man who fears for his life at the hands of a late-night visitor learns that he is already dead, and his caller has come to guide him to the next life. As he sets out on his journey, “the sensual world that could be understood only in parable faded to the shadow of a shade.” The soul bound for heaven is more solid than the world it leaves behind.
The ghost story emerged around the turn of the nineteenth century from the tradition of gothic fiction inaugurated by Horace Walpole’s The Castle of Otranto . Kirk cherished this lineage and described his first novel, Old House of Fear , as a “gothick tale, in unblushing line of direct descent” from Walpole’s work. In Otranto and other early gothic tales, the typical site of ghostly encounters was the moldering castle. In time, the castle was replaced by the manor house, and finally by the Victorian home. Through these changes, the haunted structure remained a symbol of the forbidding past. It evoked a time when people had been in thrall to religious, familial, and political structures rejected by modern society. It was a sign, as Marx put it, that “the tradition of all the dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brain of the living.”
Kirk upended these gothic conceits. For him, the supposedly benighted past was to be learned from. He depicted the Victorian mansion—the haunted structure most menacing to bourgeois America—as a site of beauty and order rather than repression and violence. In “Lex Talionis,” a man who has broken into a condemned Victorian home admires “the former glories of the house” evoked by the stained glass doors, walnut pillars, and marble floors. These things spoke to Kirk not of a sinister past but of an appealing alternative to the efficient and rational future envisioned by some.
Wide as it was, Kirk’s sympathy had limits. His ghost stories and gothic novels reflect his attachment to a particular vision of society and his hostility to its perceived enemies. Kirk cherished a vision of order centered on family, faith, and property. He was capable of ridiculing, as in one story, those who expatiate on “the decay of old families and the follies of socialism.” But as a rule his villains were the chosen enemies of the mid-century right. In Old House of Fear , for example, the villain is a committed Communist, and he tries to corrupt a young woman by schooling her “in progressive social views and in a proper understanding of occult lore.”
In Lord of the Hollow Dark , his final novel, Kirk gives the fullest sense of those he viewed with suspicion. An unmarried young woman with an infant child is invited to a Scottish castle, where, it is rumored, occult rites were long ago performed. The man leading the party is a progressive visionary who now intends to stage a Black Mass and orgy. The eager congregants include Professor Channing-Cheetah, a humanitarian who thinks people are “nice” unless they happen to be “exploiters” who occupy indigenous land; Mr. Eugenides, a kingpin in the flesh trade; Mr. Hakagawa, an arch-abortionist; and Mr. Bleistein, a businessman who holds a “thick cigar” and has left a “trail of bankrupt international companies behind him.” These names, taken from the poems of T. S. Eliot, are meant to tell us something about each guest, and the last is notable. Eliot described “Bleistein with a cigar” as a “Chicago Semite Viennese” and mocked him in some of his cruelest lines.
We soon learn that these people mean to kill the woman and her child as part of their ceremony. They are international elites, bound together by sexual perversity and the consumption of innocent flesh. The coincidence between Kirk’s novel and some of today’s wilder speculations about the nature of the global elite is striking. Perhaps there is something inherently gothic in the way we view our politics. Both left and right imagine far-reaching conspiracies—whether the ancient alliance of feudal repression, religious obscurantism, and sexual hypocrisy feared by some on the left, or the unholy conclave of political radicals, moral perverts, and international businessmen that stalks the nightmares of some on the right. It is no coincidence that the Gothic novel emerged in the age of revolution, when the opposition between reaction and progress, tradition and modernity, was the stuff of popular fiction as well as political debate. Kirk was drawn to the gothic tale in part because his intellectual life was concerned with the contest between old and new.
Even those who sometimes regret Kirk’s selection of villains will find in his fiction a rejoinder to the conspiratorial assumption that those unlike us must be engaged in acts of perversity. At the end of his final novel, we learn that the bygone figures once suspected of engaging in satanic ceremonies were in fact Catholic recusants devoutly hearing the Mass. This is the gentle teaching of Kirk’s stories: The past we despise could be worth cherishing. The specters we fear might mean us no harm, and the moldering castle may be our true home.

It Happens Here: There's brotherly love behind Chelsea Fire Wicked Hot Sauce
By Levan Reid
Updated on: November 9, 2023 / 6:27 AM EST / CBS Boston
CHELSEA - The story behind the Chelsea Fire Wicked Hot Sauce company is one of inspiration.
It was started by John Brown and is named after the Great Chelsea Fires of 1908 and 1973. John passed away last summer after a long battle with osteogenesis imperfecta , the technical term for brittle bone disease.
Now his brother Tim is running the business in his honor.
"This is something that he absolutely loved; this was his baby. Ten years it took him. It took a lot of hard work," Tim Brown told WBZ-TV.
Before he passed away, John worked hard on making sure he got the recipe right.
"The first batches were absolutely terrible. Too hot, too vinegary, too sweet, too everything. But he figured out that if you put another hot pepper with it that had some flavor it counteracted the hotness of the ghost pepper," Tim said.
John designed the original label on the bottle himself.

"Actually, on his computer and then just cut and pasted everything on there," Tim said.
John saw there was no bourbon hot sauce out there, so he made one.
"There are bourbon ketchups and BBQ sauces but nothing on a hot sauce and it's absolutely delicious," Tim told WBZ.

So now the love that Tim had always had for his brother can be shared with others and John will never be forgotten.
"Small stature but the biggest heart. The biggest heart of a person that I have ever, ever met in my life," Tim said. "As far as him as a human, probably one of the best. In stature, he was probably four eleven, but he was the toughest guy I've ever known in my life."
Part of the hot sauce sales go to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation .

- MW3 Tips and Tricks
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now live, and whether this is your first time checking out Call of Duty or you're coming back to the franchise after a long hiatus, these tips may help you start building a better game sense and flag some helpful features newer to the series. These MW3 multiplayer tips and tricks are intended for beginners and players looking to sharpen their skills beyond the basics.

Take a Minute to Adjust Your Behavior Settings
Choose between killstreaks and scorestreaks, completing daily challenges more efficiently, armory unlock challenges are a game changer, tips for leveling up quickly, general tips and tricks, map-specific tips and tricks.

As Call of Duty has aged, the number of settings available for players to adjust to best customize the shooting experience has changed significantly. Though this once was most important for PC players, it's also valuable for console players.
Specifically, the Controller menu has interesting options to alter gameplay, like adjusting sprint/tactical sprint behavior and how you climb objects or how you enter weapon mounting . Ultimately, many of these choices come down to how you play Call of Duty. No shame if hiding in corners is your thing, but if it is, what you'll need is drastically different than a player learning how to swoop around corners and move at optimal speed around a map.
Under the Controller menu, you'll specifically want to check out the Gameplay submenu to alter movement behaviors (options for ground mantling, door bash, tactical sprint, etc.) and combat behaviors (ADS behavior, weapon mount activation, etc.).

Then you'll also want to visit the Interface menu. This is where you can alter your in-game HUD (mini map shape, crosshair settings, etc) and turn on telemetry, including packet loss, server latency, a clock, and a connection meter.
Additionally, we highly recommend turning off World Motion Blur and Weapon Motion Blur , as while these settings were designed to offer a more cinematic experience, they can ultimately cause some rather significant disadvantages in multiplayer, as they can make your surrounding environment and weapon very blurry and challenging to see what's happening around you.

If you're not a fan of Killstreaks, you can change to Scorestreaks whenever you're outside of a match in the Weapons menu. Select the Killstreaks menu then look at the bottom left of the screen for the button prompt to toggle between earning your bonus through kills or scored points. On PlayStation, press R2.
- 4 Kills = 500 Points
- 5 Kills = 625 Points
- 7 Kills = 875 Points
- 8 Kills = 1000 Points

Once you reach level 10 you'll unlock the Mission Control Comlink gear. This reduces your Kilstreak cost by 1, or Scorestreak cost by 125 if you want to unlock these faster.

Some of the more potentially obnoxious daily challenges, like getting kills while Holding Breath, can be cleared easier in Ground War. More targets, more space, and way more time.
Sure, you're maybe not explicitly helping with the objective, but these larger game modes will offer an opportunity to complete challenges faster and even better hone your skills or learn something new outside of the pressures that often come with your typical multiplayer game modes .

Armory Unlock Challenges are a brand-new system in MW3 that is unlocked once you reach level 25. This system allows you to immediately activate challenges to unlock guns, equipment, perks, streaks, and cosmetics that may otherwise only be available at the end of a Weapon's Progression or at a particular weapon level.
Armory Unlock Challenges can be completed by completing a specified number of Daily Challenges, which typically range from two to five. Armory Unlocks will unlock via a set order determined by the game unless you manually initiate challenges, which we highly recommend. Three Armory Unlocks can be queued at any time, and you can switch your current active challenge by simply activating a new one. Doing so will move your previously activated challenge to number two in the queue.

If you want to level up quickly to unlock new weapons and equipment, here are some of the best ways to earn XP in MW3.
- Everyday, at the same time, you'll receive a handful of brand-new daily challenges that you can complete to earn XP. Each challenge will earn you a few thousand XP, making it well worth your time to complete.
- From the Multiplayer lobby, use the Playlist Filter feature when selecting your game mode to filter which game modes you wish to play. Objective-based game modes such as Domination , Hardpoint , Control , and Search and Destroy will earn you the most XP, should you play to the objective.

- Corners are the most dangerous. Highly skilled players have all sorts of techniques to get the advantage while turning them. Before you move past or around a corner , especially in the final moments of a match when you're team is barely a few kills ahead, ask yourself: do you really need to peek around that corner? The answer is almost always "probably not."

- If you're looking for the perfect middle ground between Hip Fire and ADS, Tac-Stance is your answer, as it trades precision accuracy for improved mobility and handling due to its canted firing position that sees the weapon tilted slightly to the left. Designed to be used mostly in aggressive plays, Tac-Stance thrives in close-quarter situations, thanks to the drastically increased ADS speed and the addition of some slight bullet spread. You can set up your Tac-Stance configuration in the Gameplay Settings under Combat Behaviors . Here, you'll find options to adjust: Tactical Stance Activation and Tactical Stance Behavior .
- Keep an eye on your minimap, as classic CoD minimap behavior has returned in MW3. This behavior lets you see red dots that indicate when an enemy is firing an unsuppressed weapon.

- Call of Duty games have always been known for their quick TTK (time to kill). That's true in Modern Warfare 3. Standing still is a death sentence. Keep moving, or at least make sure you're behind cover if you want to slow down for a bit. For this reason, we recommend implementing the movement technique known as strafing into your style of play, especially when firing upon enemies, as you'll be much more likely to dodge any incoming bullets. If you're new to the series, strafing is best described as the act of walking side-to-side.
- Slide canceling has returned! You can now cancel a slide by jumping or crouching again. This also does not reset Tactical Sprint. Additionally, for those who utilize sliding in their playstyle, MW3 allows you to fire your weapon during a slide and immediately after.
- Don't forget to activate bonus XP tokens. These can be activated via the XP Token menu, which can be accessed via the Multiplayer lobby, just below Daily Challenges.
- If you've been alive in a Mosh Pit match for a while (more than a minute or two) be sure to watch where your team spawns on the minimap. That'll help you identify the flow of battle so you can ensure you're not waltzing into the area just outside the enemy spawn.
- Like most FPS these days, Call of Duty also has a ping system. Press Up on the D-Pad to access the Ping Wheel , or tap the button once to place a general location marker. Call out those enemies without even getting on the mic and help your team, even if they're not helping you.
- Don't immediately skip your death cam, as you can use this to flank enemies and pinpoint the locations of those pesky campers.

- Leveling too slow for your liking and want weapons with more attachments? You can ditch the custom classes and use the pre-made loadouts by pressing R1 while in the Loadout menu in a match.
- Don't forget to use ammo and munitions boxes for not only resupplying your weapon ammo but also your lethal and tactical gear. On Ground War, you'll find big stack of ammo boxes like the one shown below at each capture point.
- With that said, be sure to always use your equipment! Hoarding Tactical, Lethal, and Field Upgrades while you wait for that perfect moment will provide no advantage. With MW3 offering faster-paced matches, there's a good chance you'll die before you even get the chance to use them, wasting any opportunities you may have had.

- Some of the most popular weapons at launch are the MTZ-556 Assault Rifle (sort of the default weapon that is actually pretty good), the MCW Assault Rifle , the Riveter Shotgun , the KATT-AMR Sniper Rifle, and the Striker SMG . It's in your best interest to spend time with the weapon you find most effective to level it up and unlock attachments that you can add with the Gunsmith feature. Base weapons have no modifications, so be sure to keep an eye on your favorite weapon's Weapon Level and modify it as you unlock new attachments.

- Most Lasers will not give away your position in-game, so don't be afraid to attach them to your weapons. Just remember, check the settings before attaching one to ensure it's invisible to enemies!
The Modern Warfare 3 features a slew of classic 2009 MW2 maps that are all available at launch. You can check out the list of all multiplayer maps for MW3 here .
All Multiplayer Maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

- Survival on a map like Favela means constant movement and attention to windows and rooftops. There are lots of hiding spots that make it easy for skilled players to take advantage of paths only made by climbing through windows and ascending staircases. If you're learning the map, try sticking to the outer edges of the map and watch where the action breaks out most.
- Also on Favela , power comes in knowing how to get to the roofs. You'll have an easier time looking down through the alleys than looking up, looking for a crouched target. Just be sure to keep an eye out for others looking for the high-ground advantage.
- One of the most fun ways to play Rust , regardless of the mode, is extreme run and gun. Equip the SMG of you're choosing (Striker is preferable for having decent range, too) and run around the outside of the map, sliding constantly and using tactical sprint when you're not actively engaging someone. You can take early rights or lefts and slide under the smaller spaces in the central structure too to change it up a bit. Enjoy the chaos.
- Other popular Rust tactics include someone scaling the center structure to try to snipe and others going prone and trying to catch people running by surprise. If the latter get you, just be ready for them the next time.
- Since Rust is an exceptionally small map, it gets hectic fast, especially on a mode like Hardpoint. Be ready to spawn right in front of an enemy at any given moment. You might catch them by surprise, but you could also find yourself immediately dead again if you're not ready to spring into the action.

Ghost Watchers – Ghost Types and Tools Guide

- Title: Ghost Watchers
- Release Date:
Information about Ghost Watchers is still incomplete. Please help us fill the details of the game using this contact form .
In this guide I will do my best to teach you how to use each item tool, do mission objectives, and hopefully catch the ghost.
Tools & Ghosts Types
Ghosts Types In the game there are currently 8 different ghosts that you will have to catch in order to complete your mission. Each ghost type have their own weaknesses depending on the age and mood . The tools given to you in the Van will help you figure out what type , age , and mood the ghost is.
Tools I will be grouping some of the tools together because the ones selected will help you determine either the ghost’s type, age , or mood .
The doll must be placed on the ground for it to work.
These tools will help you fend off a ghosts attack.

When you first load into the game your objective is to find out the ghost type, age, and mood. The game already gives you all the tools that are necessary to determine them. How you want to play the game is up to you but this is my how-to guide on the game play.
