How to Win Call of Duty Ghosts Clan Wars: How to Make a Clan and Enter Clan Wars
How to make your own clan in CoD: Ghosts and enter the clan wars!
Not what you were looking for? Check out the rest of my Game Skinny Guide on How to Win (CoD) Ghosts clan wars !
There are plenty of good reasons to want to create your own clan. I, personally, would not be playing CoD: Ghosts at all if I had not been asked to join a clan by family and friends, so one of the very bests reasons to start your own clan is to encourage the people you enjoy being around to get involved in your favorite game! What could be better than gaming with your favorite people!
Even if you already play, you might be having trouble finding a clan you like. There are a lot of ragers in the gaming community, and FPS titles can be among the worst in attracting high-stress personalities. Ironically, the same trait that drives them to be competitive can also make it almost unbearable to be around them, let alone around a whole bunch of them! So the clans that consistently win at clan wars can in some cases be among the least fun clans to play in.
But you believe in something better! You want to start a clan that’s both fun to be in and capable of winning! Good for you! I’m here to tell you, it’s possible.
The step-by-step basics: how to start a clan.
You’re going to have to make a free Call of Duty account , if you don’t already have one. Once you register, the system should prompt you to link it to your gaming account (for me, my Xbox Live account). Each of your clan members will have to go through this process so that they can join your clan and their play can be tracked properly by the system.
When you have your account linked and ready, from the Call of Duty: Ghosts home screen you’ll choose Multiplayer, and then choose your gaming system at the top (for me, again, it’s XBox Live) to sign in for online play. Once you have signed in, you will see the Find Match option that you’re used to when queuing for pvp matches. But instead of Find Match, you’re going to select Barracks, and then the second option, which is Create Clan. Follow the prompts to choose your new clan name and your new clan image!
To invite someone to your clan, you will have to invite them into a game lobby. You don’t actually have to enter a game (although we have seen some circumstances where people were not able to accept an invite until they had finished one game after the invite was sent). To send the invite, select the player in the lobby and scroll down to the invite to clan option. That’s it! The player you invited will see the invite (along with any other clan invites) in their “Clan Invites” section, under their own Barracks.
Pro tip: enter your clan name in the text box it gives you to go with the clan invite, so that your friend can easily see which invite is the correct one.
How to enter your clan in CoD: Ghosts clan wars!
This is the easiest part! You’re automatically signed up! Once you’ve started a clan with at least 3 members , you will be entered in the next clan wars bronze division. But to see it, you will have to download the Call of Duty: Ghosts app to a smart phone or tablet. If you have a tablet, I strongly recommend that you use it as your primary device for viewing the app. You can load the app on your phone too, but the tablet version is much easier to navigate. (I like the iPad mini.)
You can see your clan details by viewing the “My Clan” option in the app, but you won’t be able to see anything about the upcoming clan war until it starts. Choosing Clan Wars when no war is active will just show you past wars, and since you have not participated in any clan wars yet, you won’t have any past standings to view. Even on the day the next clan war begins, you will not see your division until the minute the war goes live, at least as of the current version of the app (June 6, 2014).
Pro tip: be very careful on the My Clan screen, because “leave” is not a back button – it is literally a button for leaving the clan! If you hit it accidentally, it will give you a warning and let you cancel it, so pay attention!
Congratulations on your new adventure, and good luck! You can do it! Winning your division moves you up to the next division. Once you’re in a gold division or higher, wins start to unlock your in-game Body Count gear. For more information, look for the articles on how the app works and on how scoring works! And remember, no matter how competitive things get, don’t forget to have fun!

How clans will connect Call of Duty: Ghosts players across platforms (except Wii U)

Joining and fighting with a clan is always a big part of online competitive gaming, but developer Infinity Ward wants to make it better and more welcoming to new players. The studio also devised a way to connect players who play the popular first-person-shooter series Call of Duty across different platforms.
Clans in the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts provides players with a bunch of new opportunities. Clans can earn experience points (XP) as a group. This enables gamers to unlock unique items and bonuses unattainable for lone wolves. Infinity Ward will curate a clan-versus-clan playlist for teams who want to go against other organized units.
You can manage all this, view team stats, and communicate with teammates using the new Call of Duty app for smartphones and tablets. Through this program you can also manage your Clan Wars, a new metagame that applies points earned in battles toward taking over key locations on a map.
What’s neat is that clans can exist across platforms. This doesn’t mean that PlayStation 3 players will get to play against Xbox 360 owners in matches. Instead, it means that you can join a clan and contribute XP and points for Clan Wars regardless of the system you are using.
Call of Duty: Ghosts launches Nov. 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U. It will also debut on PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15 and Xbox One on Nov. 22. While the COD: Modern Warfare team is developing Ghosts, it features an all-new story and cast of characters.
Despite the promise of cross-platform clans, Activision confirmed that the Wii U version will not work with this feature.

Call of Duty
WE ARE ALL WE'VE GOT. This new chapter in the Call of Duty® franchise features a fresh dynamic, where players are on the side of a crippled nation, fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive. Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as "Ghosts", lead the battle against a newly-emerged, technologically-superior, global power.
In Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer, customize your soldier and squad for the first time. Level environments are more realistic and immersive than ever before.
CREATE-A-SOLDIER. In Call of Duty®: Ghosts you don't just create a class, you create a soldier. Choose the head, body type, head-gear and equipment, and you can even create a female soldier for the first time. With over 20,000 possible combinations, you can create the soldier you've always wanted. And each soldier you create will also have his or her own load outs.
KILL STREAKS, ADVANCED WEAPONRY & PERKS
There are over 20 NEW Kill Streaks in Call of Duty®: Ghosts — such as Juggernaut Maniac, Helo-Scout, Vulture and the ODIN Strike. You can even bring in Riley, from the single-player campaign, as your guard dog to warn you and attack when enemies are near. Scorestreaks are back, and can now be customized – to alter performance attributes or increase the power of a particular streak. The new Perks System has a value from 1 to 5, and you have 8 points to allocate. You could also choose to get rid of your secondary weapon and get up to 11 perks.
Squads introduces a whole new level of competition to Call of Duty. We've taken the best parts of the Multiplayer experience and combined that with a vastly improved AI and our new mechanic of creating your own squad-mates. All the hard work you've put into customizing, playing, and prestiging your squad can now be put to use on a brand new playing field.
NEW ENGINE. From maps and modes, to animation and audio, to who you are as a player — this is the biggest overhaul of multiplayer since the original Modern Warfare®. Things like Sub-D, Displacement Mapping, Real-Time Lighting, and Dual-Rendering tech gives us the ability to build the most visceral gameplay experience we've ever created.
Call of Duty®: Ghosts has redefined how you move through the world.
· A new contextual lean system now allows you to lean around obstacles without adding button combinations.
· A new mantling system allows you to move fluidly over objects, while not losing momentum.
· The knee slide allows you to naturally transition from sprinting to crouch to prone.
DYNAMIC MAP EVENTS
We're immersing players in the multi-player maps in ways similar to what we've done cinematically in single-player, while adding new ways to play and interact with the environments in a meaningful way. New interactive elements and player triggered events make the maps evolve as the match goes on. From player-triggered traps to map-changing killstreaks, the entire landscape can shift and require new tactics and strategies.
OUTNUMBERED, OUTGUNNED, BUT NOT OUTMATCHED.
An independent, covert, and ultra-elite Special Forces unit, GHOSTS operates outside of the normal military chain of command. Formed from the remnants of Tier one operatives, who were nearly wiped out during Operation Sand Viper in the Middle East, in 2005. The fifteen survivors, including Captain Gabriel Rorke and Lt. Elias Walker, were formed into a new unit known as “The Ghosts.”
The resource-rich promise of South America has been fulfilled under the Federation. Fully consolidated energy production combined with a rich factory infrastructure arising from First World outsourcing, the Federation is operating and enjoying a period of growth similar to the late 20th Century Middle East.
The United States ushered in a new era of space-based warfare with the launch of the O.D.I.N. (Orbital Defense Initiative) space station. The ODIN station was armed with a battery of sophisticated kinetic projectile launchers. The ODIN’s weapon systems were designed to drop tungsten rods from orbit with pin-point precision. One rod hit was equivalent to the detonation of a small tactical nuclear warhead.
NO MAN'S LAND
"No Man's Land" (NML) is the slang term for a 60-mile wide strip of suburban desolation that runs East-West across Southern California, starting between San Diego and Los Angeles. NML stretches from the Orange County coastline out into the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas, and beyond…NML was ground zero for the ODIN orbital strikes when the Federation saboteurs used it against the US. The Odin kinetic bombardment left massive craters and rendered it tectonically unstable.
BROTHERS IN ARMS
Hesh and Logan Walker trained their entire lives under the watchful and demanding eye of their battle hardened father, Elias Walker. Their innate abilities as marksman and hunters gave them a particular advantage growing up. Their father had hoped that these traits would help both of his sons maintain their self-reliance should things get rough. Ten years after the Odin event, Lt. they serve together on a recon team based out of Fort Santa Monica, tasked with defending and patrolling the California front. Both were grounded by Elias’ subtle training – core to which is that Hesh and his younger brother Logan must always look out for each other.
Warfare is no longer limited to the trenches. Fights take place underwater, in outer space and even on jagged rock faces. Diverse missions and battlefields have you rappelling down buildings, floating in zero gravity and taking aim inside a helicopter. The diversity of gameplay keeps the action epic and redefines what it means to be a soldier in the field.
Extinction is a completely new 4-player, co-op game mode featuring a unique blend of fast-paced survival gameplay, base defense, player customization and class leveling rounding out this robust new Call of Duty: Ghosts game mode. Teamwork is critical. Your team faces an inhuman menace that has overrun an isolated Colorado town and you must eliminate the threat via any means necessary.
At the start of the game, each member of the team chooses from one of several custom character classes - medic, engineer, tank, and weapon specialist. As the team battles through the streets of Caldera Peak, players earn currency that can be used to purchase a variety of upgrades and character abilities. The team can scavenge for special equipment and weapon mods left behind by previous, unsuccessful, military forces.
Extinction’s fast-paced survival combat features a series of intense base-defense scenarios, where your overall objective is to destroy the alien threat with the help of a nuclear device. Team members must work together to hold off waves of alien attackers until each alien “hive” can be neutralized. No two games are the same as the moment-to-moment upgrade decisions can dictate the strategies of the team.
Extinction features a variety of new “alien” enemies, from wall crawling Scouts, ferocious Hunters, devious exploding Seekers, leaping and spitting Scorpions, and massive armored Rhinos that can decimate an unprepared squad in a matter of seconds.
HINTS AND TIPS FOR SUCCESS
Players can equip up to four found attachments on their weapons, find flares, trophy systems, special ammo, and even a "Hypno-Knife" that can brainwash enemy creatures, transforming them into savage allies for a limited time. Extinction’s new Combat Spend system also offers access to a wide range of offensive, defensive, and support equipment bonuses that can turn the tide of a desperate battle.
EXTINCTION EPISODE 1: NIGHTFALL
Anchoring this first content pack is Episode 1: Nightfall, the first installment in Extinction's four-part episodic narrative. At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the "Alien" threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel and exterminate hordes of savage creatures.

How To Make A Clan In Call Of Duty Ghost?
Are you a fan of Call of Duty Ghosts and want to take your gaming experience to the next level? Creating a clan in Call of Duty Ghosts can provide you with a unique opportunity to connect and play with a group of like-minded gamers, enhance your skills, and compete against other clans in thrilling battles. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of creating a clan in Call of Duty Ghosts, so you can start recruiting members and dominating the virtual battlefield.
Step 1: Prepare your Clan
Before you can create a clan in Call of Duty Ghosts, it’s important to gather a group of players who are interested in joining your clan. Talk to your friends, acquaintances, or other players you meet online who share your passion for the game. Make sure to find players who are dedicated, skilled, and can communicate effectively during gameplay. Building a strong foundation for your clan is essential for success.
Step 2: Choose a Clan Name
Now it’s time to come up with a catchy and unique clan name that represents your team’s identity. This name will be displayed in-game and will help distinguish your clan from others. Take some time to brainstorm ideas with your teammates and choose a name that reflects your clan’s values, playstyle, or any other defining characteristics. Once you have settled on a name, make sure it is not already taken by another clan.
Step 3: Register Your Clan
After finalizing your clan name, you need to register it on the official Call of Duty website. This registration process ensures that your clan gets recognized by the game’s community and allows you to access various clan features and benefits. Follow the instructions on the website and provide all the necessary information, including your clan name, a brief description, and any other relevant details. Once your clan is registered, you will be ready to take part in various clan activities.
Step 4: Recruit Members
With your clan officially registered, it’s time to recruit members to join your ranks. Spread the word about your clan on social media platforms, gaming forums, and in-game chats. Look for players who align with your clan’s values and possess the skills you are looking for. Conduct tryouts to evaluate potential members and ensure they are a good fit for your clan. Remember, the strength of your clan largely depends on the quality of its members.
Step 5: Participate in Clan Wars
One of the main benefits of having a clan in Call of Duty Ghosts is the opportunity to participate in clan wars. Clan wars are competitive challenges where clans fight against each other to secure territories on a map. These battles can be intense and require strategic planning, teamwork, and communication. Participating in clan wars can not only boost your clan’s reputation but also provide you with in-game rewards and bonuses.
By following these step-by-step instructions, you can create a clan in Call of Duty Ghosts and join the ranks of elite gaming communities. Remember, building a successful clan takes time, dedication, and teamwork, so make sure to nurture your clan and make it a welcoming and supportive environment for all its members.
Step 1: Register an Account
Before you can create a clan in Call of Duty Ghost, you will need to register an account. This account will serve as your clan’s administrative account, allowing you to manage your clan, invite new members, and participate in clan events.

It offers a deeper Clans experience by enlisting players into a larger conflict where any Clan Member, regardless of skill level, can contribute to the Call of Duty Clan War simply by participating, and rewards them with cool items, both in the app and in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer.
How Does it Work? [ ]
In Call of Duty Clan Wars, your Clan is pitted against seven other evenly matched Clans to battle for possession of key locations on the Call of Duty App’s Clan Wars map over a period of time.
The locations on the Call of Duty App’s Clan Wars map are tied to specific multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: Ghosts. For example, when you’re playing in a clan war, the Aqueduct location on the Call of Duty App’s Clan Wars map is tied to the Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer, and your Clan will battle against seven other Clans to secure and hold the Aqueduct location while the other Clans try and take it away from you. Each time your Clan wins a Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer match in TDM, your Clan gets a Capture Point for the Aqueduct location. There will be multiple locations on the Call of Duty App’s Clan Wars map, tied to other multiplayer game modes in Call of Duty: Ghosts, and your Clan gets more Capture Points for securing either the Aqueduct or other locations and holding them down over time. The Clan with the most Capture Points at the end of the period wins the Clan War.
Clans that participate in Call of Duty Clan Wars have the opportunity earn cool rewards both in the Call of Duty App and in-game as well. Rewards are distributed based on how your Clan ranked in the overall Clan War. Of the seven Clans that participate in a Clan War, the top three ranking Clans will earn rewards, with the winning Clan receiving the most.
Clan Members can review their standings at any point during a Clan War using the Call of Duty App, and strategize their next multiplayer play session – should your Clan hold down the location you've already captured, or move on to try and capture other locations for even more points.

Clan War Brackets [ ]
Diamond Division logo
In Bronze-Platinum Clan Wars your clan will first be grouped by the number of members you have at the moment of Roster Lock (see below). For the sake of clarity we refer to this as your Clan Bracket. To then decide which division your clan is placed in we evaluate your recent performance. Historically this has ranged from how you've performed in the previous Clan War to how active your clan has been - the system used will continue to evolve over the course of the year. The basic rule of thumb is that clans who have been more active recently and successful in terms of wins will be placed into higher divisions than those who are either inactive or haven't performed as strongly. Under this system it is possible for clans to drop by one or more divisions from one Clan War to the next. The first exception to this rule is that clans who finished in the top three places in the previous Clan War will not drop down divisions, even if they've been inactive since that time. The second exception is that clans who finish a division in first place (with the obvious exception of Platinum Division) will be automatically promoted. Diamond Division uses the same Clan Bracket system as Bronze-Platinum, but is not then split any further since all clans in Diamond Division are considered to be of equal calibre.
Roster Lock [ ]
In order for clans to be bracketed correctly we perform a count of the number of members in every clan around 24 hours before the start of each Clan War. This lock number is the limit of members your clan can have contributing wins in your Clan War division. The roster lock does not prevent clans from recruiting new members, but additional members beyond the lock number will not contribute towards that clan's wins.
For example, if your clan has 20 members at the moment rosters are locked, only the first 20 members of the clan to contribute a win in the Clan War will be counted. If the clan recruits 10 more members after the lock occurs they will still only have 20 members contributing wins. Critically, it does not matter if those members were recruited after the lock, if they're one of the first 20 from the clan to score a win, their performance will be counted potentially meaning that longer-serving members' wins are not. This even extends to Clan Commanders and Leaders, if you recruit after the lock you risk some members of your clan being unable to score towards your Clan War performance. For this reason it is entirely possible your clan of 5 members could find itself in a bracket against a clan who has 100 members - this is still fair, as that 100 member clan will only be recording wins from the first five members to have played, since they will have recruited new members after the roster lock... unless of course your clan kicked out 95 guys after the roster lock, in which case you should probably recruit more people or you will be severely out-matched.
There is one exception to this rule. Once your roster lock is set the upper number of your bracket is considered to be your lock number - so if you have 34 members at the moment rosters are locked your clan can have 39 members contributing to your Clan War, effectively enabling you to recruit five more players after the lock.

The man in charge of the ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Clan Wars offers a few tips and tricks
The second official Clan Wars event for Call of Duty: Ghosts kicked off today, a five-day metagame affair that challenges groups of eight matched clans to compete for control of nodes, each focused on a specific game mode. Every registered member of a clan automatically contributes points toward their clan totals simply by winning a corresponding match during normal multiplayer play. Take control of a node and you receive a temporary XP boost that is active for every member of your clan until the node is lost. Earn more “Capture Points” than anyone else by holding various locations over the five-day period, and your whole clan scores some exclusive cosmetic unlocks for the game’s custom-created multiplayer soldiers.
It’s a relatively simple concept to grasp, though the war for control isn’t always easy. Each Clan War node is worth a certain number of wins. The first team to reach that win count in matches for the designated game type takes control. Everyone else must then score the same number of wins in that game type, except wins from all members of the other clans stack with each other. The controlling team can slow down the process by continuing to win matches for that game type, but having seven clans gang up on the one in control helps to ensure that capture nodes keep changing hands.
Players are still figuring out their strategies for Clan Wars, but Beachhead Studios boss John Linden is here to help. He’s been reviewing the data gathered from the first Clan War, and he’s gotten a good sense of what’s working best at the moment. The mode’s rules continue to change and evolve, but for now, Linden’s got some helpful tips that may give you an edge. For more on Clan Wars and how it came to be, check out our full interview with the Beachhead bossman right here .
- If you want to win the war, focus on all the territories. We definitely saw some great strategies [in the first Clan War]. We haven’t really revealed what every location is worth, but it’s pretty easy to [figure that out from how many wins are needed to take control]. We had a lot of people who started analyzing that and saying, ‘Okay, this one’s worth this many points.’
- One of the reasons we don’t reveal [the point totals for each node] globally is, obviously depending on the division and the size of the clan you’re in, some of those numbers will change. If you’re in a three-person clan we’re not going to have the same amount of wins it takes [to capture a node] as a 100-person clan. It’s all fairly dynamic per war. We are going to do some updates in the future here … that will start showing you what those values are worth.
- Look for the ones that have the highest values. We’ve tried to make some visual indicators when somebody is about to lose a territory. You’ll start to see their emblem on the [Clan Wars] will start pulsing a bit. There’ll be a red pulse around it. Those are obviously great ones to watch since it means those are pretty to take away from that clan, they’re pretty vulnerable right now.
- The biggest strategy is to mix it up. We’ve seen [more success from] people that are focusing on,’What can I take over?’ versus ‘I just want to play [a specific mode]?’ [That is] probably the best strategy we’ve seen so far.

Your performance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a lot to do with the weapon you come equipped with. Sure, a skilled player can excel with most weapons in the game, but having the best firearm for any given situation will lead you to more victories -- regardless of your playstyle. Modern Warfare 2 has around 50 primary weapons across seven categories, each with different stats, strengths, and weaknesses.
The meta in Call of Duty games shifts constantly as weapons are added and tweaked, so it's always a good idea to stay on top of the latest updates. In this guide, we'll rank each primary weapon in Modern Warfare 2 across all categories (with the exception of the Riot Shield). This ranking is in descending order, with the first spot being the best and the last spot being the worst. It looks like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be the title of this year's Call of Duty game. Following several leaks, including an undeniable one connected to Monster Energy, a joking tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account appears to confirm that this is true. Leaks suggesting that 2023's Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III have existed for months, but ramped up recently. On July 17, the Call of Duty Twitter account put up tweets asking if Operators, weapons, and bundles from Modern Warfare II should carry over to this year's game and teasing that a big reveal would happen alongside the unveiling of Season 5. Later that day, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier stated that this is a Sledgehammer Games-led project that started as an expansion and morphed into a full game. Then, Monday morning, images of Monster Energy promotional materials connected to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III emerged on Twitter, giving us confirmation of the name and our first look at the game's logo.
A leak like this is pretty difficult to deny, so Activision decided to play along with it. "Whew. Mondays," the official Call of Duty account tweeted. "Anyone have an energy drink they can spare?" While not a traditional, explicit announcement, this tweet confirms the validity of the Monster Energy leak and affirms that this year's Call of Duty will be a direct follow-up to 2022's Modern Warfare II. Now, we'll just have to wait and see when Activision decides to officially reveal more about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III itself. Because it's not officially announced yet, we don't know what Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's release date or launch platforms are. Still, it's likely that it will launch across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox sometime this October or November after Microsoft's Activision Blizzard acquisition closes.
The current version of Call of Duty: Warzone, much like its predecessor, is a complicated beast of a game, full of little intricacies that even veteran players might not be aware of. Of course, winning a match often comes down to luck, but there are many things you can do to increase your odds of being the last squad standing.
In this guide, we'll go through eight essential tips and tricks to help you survive and excel in Warzone. Communicate effectively
How to Create and Join Clans
Call of Duty: Vanguard's Multiplayer mode gives you and your friends some major rewards for being in a Clan and this page will serve as a tutorial on how to create your own Clan or join a preexisting Clan.
Vanguard's Clan feature has essentially replaced Modern Warfare's Regiments system and it allows you to join a group of up to 100 players that you can then party up with for Multiplayer matches. Once in a Clan, you'll gain access to a custom emblem that every clan member can equip in addition to rewards that'll speed up your progression.
How to Create a Clan
- Launch Vanguard's Multiplayer mode
- Open the Social Menu by clicking on the icon on the top right, pressing Triangle, or pressing Y
- Choose and confirm your Clan name and Clan Tag (5 character max)
- Finish setting up your Clan's Privacy Settings, Emblem, description, and search labels
- Invite people to your clan through the "Invite Members" page and start gaming with your friends
To create a Clan you'll need to navigate to Vanguard's Social Menu. This menu can be accessed by clicking on the icon in the top right of the screen if you're on PC, by pressing Triangle if you're on PlayStation consoles, or by Pressing Y on Xbox consoles.
On the following screen, you'll need to follow the presented instructions to select your Clan's name and Clan Tag.
After confirming your Clan's name and Clan Tag you can select "Setup Clan" to customize or equip your Clan's emblem, adjust your Clan's Privacy Settings, and edit your description, Clan Tag, or search labels. This can also be done by navigating to your Clan's "Dashboard" and then selecting 'Clan Actions'.
Finally, navigate to "Invite Members" to begin inviting friends to join your clan. Remember that if you haven't already, adjusting your search labels and Privacy Settings is crucial if you plan to fill out your Clan's roster with random players.
Your Clan's Privacy Settings can be set to one of three options:
- Open to Anyone - Anyone can join the clan without approval, as long as the clan is not full.
- Request to Join - Players can send a request to join the clan, if their request is approved they will receive an invite. Clan officers or admins can approve requests.
- Invite Only - Players can only join if they receive an invite from a Clan officer or admin.
Once you've completed these steps you are now ready to begin joining your fellow Clan Members to take over Multiplayer lobbies and rack up that sweet bonus XP.
How to Join a Clan
- You can then choose to join any of the Clans in the Recommended or All Clans tab
- You can also search by Clan labels or look up a specific Clan name by selecting the "Sort Filter" option
- Once you've decided which clan to join, click on the Clan to join or to request to join
To join a Clan you need to navigate to Vanguard's Multiplayer Social Menu by selecting the icon on the top right of the screen on PC, by pressing Triangle on PlayStation consoles, or by pressing Y on Xbox consoles. Once within the menu, click on the left option of the screen.
The following screen will present you with several "Recommended" Clans or you can move to the following tab to view "All Clans". While the All Clans tab can seem a bit overwhelming you can narrow down the list of Clans to match your interests by adding filters in the "Sort Filter" page.
For instance, you can add filters to only search for Clans with open slots, search for Clans with a specific Privacy Setting enabled, or you can add or remove some of the many search labels such as "Casual", "International", or "Talkative". In the Sort Filter page, you'll also find a search bar that you can use to search for a specific Clan.
After deciding which Clan to join feel free to select the Clan and either join or request to join if the Clan is private. Remember that some Clans are "Invite Only" so if you want to join a Clan with this Privacy Setting selected a Clan officer or admin will need to invite you before you can join.
