Here's Where the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Is Now

Did the drama continue?

below deck sailing yacht season 3

Since it debuted back in 2020, Bravo’s spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht has certainly delivered some of the most dramatic feuds and steamy boatmances, and it looks as if Season 3 is no different.

While Captain Glenn Shephard is returning to take the lead of the Parsifal III, there’s a lot that’s changed, including a brand new crew and filming location. The cast will be sailing through the stunning waters of Menorca, Spain, but they’ll definitely be hitting some rocky moments, especially when it comes to returning crew members Gary and Daisy’s love-hate romance.

Well, it seems as if there’s more to come as Bravo teases one of the most unexpected crew hookups in Below Deck history. Say what? With so much having happened during the cast’s filming last summer, what exactly have they been up to since?

Captain Glenn Shephard

Daisy kelliher - chief stew.

When Season 3 wrapped, Daisy Kelliher, who returned aboard the Parsifal III as chief stew, took some much-needed vacation time. Kelliher hit up Antigua in the Caribbean , which is where she rang in the New Year and has remained since filming. Considering her ongoing love-hate relationship with fellow castmate Gary King, Daisy remains single for the time being, but she’s certainly not fallen out of love with traveling. Despite appearing to be living the life so many wish they could, Daisy revealed she’s been suffering from severe separation anxiety as she shared just how hectic and demanding her line of work could be in a February 13, 2022 post on Instagram

Gary King - First Officer

Being involved in Bravo drama is nothing new for Gary, especially after his steamy season with Daisy. Well, after wrapping up season three in Menorca, Gary took some time off to reunite with his family; sharing an adorable photo of him and his niece, Ava , on Instagram. The Bravo star is currently in St. Lucia , soaking up the sun, but he hasn’t managed to escape the drama. After sharing a kiss with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent season three trailer, fans have been wondering if he and Daisy are an item. Well, despite the rumors, Gary and Daisy aren’t dating, after confirming to E! News that the two are “just friends.”

Colin McRae - Chief Engineer

Colin McRae has returned to his old stomping grounds aboard the Parsifal III, and considering his love for sailing, fans aren’t surprised to see the Bravo star back on their screens. Since wrapping up last summer’s filming, it didn't take too much time before Colin and fellow Chief Stew Daisy reunited back in December. Since then, Colin has given most of his time to his YouTube channel, Sailing Parlay , which features an array of videos showcasing his sailing adventures. Things are clearly going well for Colin’s online presence, considering he was rewarded with a YouTube 100,000 subscriber count plaque back on February 6. "It has been 4 years of VERY hard work, possibly the hardest of any sailing channel out there that I know of so far, and to reach this milestone is so gratifying for us,” he wrote on Instagram.

Marcos Spaziani - Chef

Say hello to Bravo’s newest chef, Marcos Spaziani. The Venezuela native has been in the industry for over 10 years and is bringing his culinary expertise to the waters of Menorca. It didn’t take much time for Marcos to make a name for himself following season three of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Spaziani is currently settled in California and has decided to open up his very own restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Marcos and fellow chef Louis Huh have been working diligently on their newest business venture, ML Eats LA .

Gabriela Barragan - 2nd Stew

Gabriela Barragan reigns from San Diego and while she’s new to the Below Deck crew, she is certainly no stranger to yachting . Barragan has worked as both a stewardess and a deckhand over the course of the last two years and has continued her yachtie life after filming season three of Sailing Yacht . Gabriela spent January and February working a yacht in St. Thomas. After living and working the island life, Gabriela took to Instagram to share that all of her “ wildest dreams are coming true ,” and considering she’s spending her days sailing through crystal clear waters, we don’t blame her.

Ashley Marti - 3rd Stew

Ashley Marti is making her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, and she’s relatively new to the industry. Marti first began working on yachts at the start of the pandemic. Although she reigns from New York , Marti is currently a West Coast gal as she takes in the Los Angeles sun alongside a few of her castmates. Since wrapping up Season 3, Ashley traveled through the United States and the Bahamas and is adamant about returning back aboard the Parsifal III, so Bravo fans just might be seeing more of her in the future.

Kelsi Goglia - Deckhand

Kelsi Goglia is making her Bravo debut this season of Sailing Yacht. After catching the travel bug following a trip to Croatia, Kelsi has been a yachtie ever since, and it doesn’t look like she’s turning back any time soon. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and loves herself some travel, as most Below Deck crew members do. While her romantic life remains a mystery, it’s clear she’s too busy roaming the world to settle down just yet.

Tom Pearson - Deckhand

Growing up on a lake , Tom Pearson is no stranger to the water, but he’s brand new to the Bravo family. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand was spotted getting his boatmance on, making us all wonder if he’ll be headed toward hot waters. Well, it seems as if Pearson remains single, but his life is anything but boring. After returning home to Windermere, England, Tom has kept busy surfing through the British waters but has taken quite a liking to his new image. The Bravo star has been attending a number of events following his newfound fame, including his most recent appearance in London, England for the launch of a new app on January 20.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars reflect on series as show's future remains uncertain

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars are looking back on their time on the show as Season 5 remains up in the air.

The hit sailing show became the second spin-off in the Below Deck franchise.

Although Season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was blah at best, Captain Glenn Shephard returned for Season 2 with a new crew.

Captain Glenn, Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacRae, and Gary King turned the hit sailing show into a mega-hit, especially after Season 4, which saw a rift in the dream team.

Now, as Gary’s scandal seems to have plagued Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, some of the stars are reflecting on their experience on the show.

It’s easy to see some cast members are missing the sailing show as much as the fans do.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars reflect on the series as the show’s future remains uncertain

Alli Dore from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 started the trip down memory lane with an Instagram post featuring several pictures of her castmates.

“How has it been three years since we filmed Below Deck Sailing Yacht? The funniest part is we spent half the season making out with each other and now we all hate each other 😂 Ok maybe not all, just most of us 🤭 Still one of the most fun experiences of my life and I wouldn’t change it for anything!,” she captioned the post that kicked off with a photo of her, Daisy and Dani Soares.

The comments section of Alli’s post had Daisy and Captain Glenn Shephard show up to respond to the epic season.

Alli, for her part, also added that Gary King wasn’t in any of the pictures, and that was simply an accident to set the record straight before the trolls started coming at her.

Meanwhile Below Deck Med Sailing Yacht Season 3 star Scarlett Bentley used IG Stories to share a cast photo reveal it was 2 years ago the finale aired.

“2 YEARS AGO TODAY SEASON FINALE HOW,” she wrote tagging Daisy, Colin, Gary, Captain Glenn, Barnaby Birkbeck, and Kelsie Goglia. Even though Ashley Marti was in the photo she was not tagged.

Gary and Colin both reshared the picture and messaged it to their Instagram Stories.

Has Below Deck Sailing Yacht been canceled?

The future of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been all the buzz since Below Deck Med Season 9 hit Bravo airwaves before Season 5 of the sailing show.

Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member. This came after photos of Gary filming Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht were leaked.

There’s speculation that the scandal has caused a delay in the sailing show airing.

Bravo confirmed that Below Deck Season 12 was coming but has been radio silent about Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Down Under.

These trips down memory lane fan us wondering if the former stars of Below Deck Sailing Yacht know something we don’t. Hopefully, that is not the case because it’s seriously so freaking good.

In another Below Deck Sailing Yacht, news, as Monsters and Critics previously reported, Daisy revealed her sister Bonnie was nearly killed in a moped accident as she issued a serious warning to fans.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Season 1 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Where are they now?

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 cast?

Where is the Season 1 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht? It’s a question on many fans’ minds as the Bravo sailing show’s new season hits the airwaves.

Captain Glenn Shephard will be the only familiar face on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2, and that is a good thing.

Based on the first-look trailer, Bravo did a 180 with the hit show, adding a lot more spice and flare to the show. Plus, new chief stew Daisy Kelliher promised a closer-knit interior crew, a slew of sex, and partying.

Let’s take a look at what happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 crew after the virtual reunion took place last summer.

The interior crew

It’s no surprise Jenna and Adam’s romance went bust not long after filming for the Bravo show ended.

Jenna launched a podcast, Wild Loner, where she opens up about her life, love, and travel adventures. Last fall, Jenna insinuated she had moved on with a new guy but based on her recent Instagram posts, it appears she’s single.

Adam spends his time road tripping around the United States with his dog Tex, which he turned into a web series, Stoked for Outside TV. The chef meets with local chefs to cook over a campfire and learn about the region.

Madison Stalker briefly dated Below Deck Med Season 5 alum Robert Westergaard. She just started working with Below Deck alum Adrienne Gang. Madison is still living life to the fullest, traveling when possible amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Georgia Grobler got fit while in lockdown, losing 20 pounds, gaining muscle, and getting healthy. Georgia also focused on her music. Last December, she dropped her first album, The Same Mistakes.

The deck crew

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan not only got engaged but bought a house in France . No, they didn’t give up yachting for land life.

At the end of last year, Ciara worked with Below Deck Med Season 5 alums Jessica More and Alex Radcliffe. Meanwhile, Paget has been focused on staying fit and healthy, going through a total body transformation. Paget shares his fitness routine on social media to help others looking to make a healthy change.

Byron Hissey is enjoying family and yachting life still. The chief engineer splits his time between working on boats and with his family. Bryon shared in an Instagram post he met up with pal Captain Glenn for Christmas.

Parker McCown has been living his best life with his fiancé Kaiti in Colorado. Although he hopes to work on yachts again, the former deckhand is focused on making music and planning a wedding.

Chris Miller, who replaced Parker, has been living in the UK, traveling all over Europe when the current health climate allows and working on his photography.

Former Below Deck Sailing Yacht Stars: Where Are They Now?

Jenna MacGillivray

After the first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , the demanding chief stewardess left Parsifal III and her boatmance with chef Adam Glick behind. The Canada native has since returned to a former love—social work—and a new one: She and boyfriend Dave Cartmill announced their engagement in August 2022.  "It took me a long time to find true comfort and happiness with myself independent of anyone else," Jenna, who riffs on love, life and travel on her podcast Wild Loner , explained on Instagram. "I'm forever thankful I loved myself enough to stay alone long enough to wait for the best person I could have ever imagined for me." The two, who were set up by a mutual friend in 2021, will wed in August 2023.

With two seasons of  Below Deck Mediterranean and season one of Sailing Yacht under his chef's apron, the New Mexico native set sail for new experiences—notably an adventure-based cooking show on OutsideTV. "Currently, Adam can still be found in front of the camera," his website reads. "However, now almost entirely cooking in adventurous outdoorsy settings, i.e. off a tailgate on a cliff, for a Toyota commercial." Those hoping to catch up with the Art Institute of California grad IRL can book a spot at one of his upcoming cooking demos or dinners in Colorado and Oregon.

Paget Berry

Though largely settled in Rhode Island, the season one first mate is still a wanderer, completing his fifth Atlantic Ocean crossing last May. Anchoring the U.K. native to the East Coast: Fiancée Johana Mills .  Having split with fellow Sailing Yacht crew member Ciara Duggan months after their 2020 engagement, "I was very lucky myself to meet a 'Harbor town girl' last year who showed me the sights and sounds of Newport when I first arrived on a boat," he explained in an August 2022 post . "For me it was pretty much love at first sight, it might have taken Jo a little while after that first date as I ate 70% of the food....There is no one I'd rather laugh, life with, cry, dance, and attempt all sorts of accents with than you Johana."

Ciara Duggan

"Used to travel for work, now I travel for fun," the season one deckhand proclaims in her Instagram bio . Now back in her native Florida, the experienced first mate and stewardess has moved on from her longterm Paget romance with two new loves: "Mi amor"  Miguel ("Beyond grateful to have you in my life," she wrote on Instagram ) and her adopted pup Yuki.

Georgia Grobler

The South Africa native is still partying like a rockstar and drinking like a sailor, her Instagram offering glimpses of her #yachtlife as she rode a Peloton off the coast of the British Virgin Islands, sun bathed in the Bahamas and took body shots in Saint Martin. And the season one stew is continuing to test the waters in the music industry. Having released her debut album, The Same Mistakes , in 2020, she promised last November : "New music on its waaaaay."

Madison Stalker

While she disembarked from Parsifal III, the Michigan native didn't leave behind the lifestyle. The "professional chief stew, amateur cheese enthusiast," as she's dubbed herself in her Instagram profile, summarized her 2022 in a January post : "12 countries. 11 states. 3 continents. 1 ending of the year I will never forget. To everyone that has made this year magical, here's to the next." That list includes boyfriend Greg Liuzzo , whom she started dating after a romance with  Below Deck Mediterranean star Rob Westergaard .

Natasha De Bourg

Looks like the season two chef's gamble really paid off. "What people don't know is that I went on Below Deck as a bet with one of my friends," the Trinidad native admitted to Island Origins Magazine in November 2022. In the years since her showdowns with chief stew  Daisy Kelliher , she's continued to keep things fiery, appearing as a juror on the Jamaican television series Maggi Food Court , writing a memoir and launching her own series, Cooking With the Classy Chef .  And when she has downtime, no surprise, "I love traveling," she told Island Origins, "because it kind of opens up my thinking to see why people eat the way they eat."

Dani Soares

No chance the Brazil native will forget her time as a stew on Parsifal III: After wrapping the boating season, Dani learned she was expecting a baby with deckhand  Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux . (Though Jean-Luc insisted on a paternity test , Dani was never in doubt, famously sharing on the season two reunion , "Well, let's put it this way, this baby was made during the season while we had cameras 24/7 with us and I only slept with one guy, so…") Now living in Sydney where she works as a nursing student, Dani doesn't mention her former flame on her Instagram page, but happily posts about now-22-month-old Lilly . As she wrote in one April post , "One day someone walks in your life and you don't know how you ever lived without them."

Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux

Still living that yacht life, the North Carolina native uses his Instagram page to share glimpses of his travels in St. Barts, the Bahamas and Panama. Revealing in January 2022 that a DNA test had confirmed he was Lilly's father, he noted, "Dani and I have been working and communicating together to the best of our ability; given Dani is a full time mother and worker, and I being gone for extended periods of time not knowing when I will step back on land. This is imperative for the sake of our daughter as she needs both parents in her life." While his toddler has yet to grace his feed, he did highlight one special lady, writing of girlfriend Jennifer in March , "My parents always talked about that one person walking into your life and changing it for the better. I just never knew who the person was until now."

Though she technically left the Bravo series in her wake after season two, the stewardess continues to test the waters, often discussing new episodes on the Pita Party podcast she shares with Daisy and Dani, as well as on her and Daisy's  Beneath the Surface  series. Settled back in her native Australia, she also fills her feed with snapshots of " my little water baby ," son River that she welcomed with  Benny Thompson in August 2021.

Gabriela Barragan

Leaving her position as second stew in the middle of season three did little to take the wind out of the San Diego native's sails. Post-show, she joined Below Deck alum  Wes O'Dell 's team as his first mate—and girlfriend. "He's working with me, and I couldn't appreciate it more," she shared  on the Gangplank Report podcast in April 2022. "He's super behind me getting my captain's license. He's teaching me everything he knows, and he's super knowledgeable about sailing." Currently based back in her California hometown , Gabriela is still offering Instagram followers a peek at her #yachtlife.

Marcos Spaziani

Having whipped up everything from molecular gastronomy dishes to a freaking wedding cake in Parsifal's tiny kitchen, the Venezuela-born chef left season three with a whole menu of options to choose from. In addition to running Marlou , a fusion spot with co-owner  Louis Hu in downtown Los Angeles and their soon-to-open Marlou Lounge, he revealed on the 2022 reunion that he has a contract with UCLA "cooking for 1,600 people per day. So, yeah, I'm pretty booked all the time." As he put it in a New Year's Day post , "Last years was one of biggest years of my life !!!"

Kelsie Goglia

Season three's delightfully low-key deckhand is still charting her own course, giving Instagram followers a look at the travels that have taken her everywhere from French Polynesia to Croatia. (A trip to Ibiza even saw her reunite with castmates Ashley Marti and Barnaby Birkbeck .) Currently stationed in the British Virgin Islands, she wrote in a March 27 post , "think I'll stay."

Ashley Marti

After a season spent flirting and fighting with first mate Gary King , the New York native decided to dive into a new adventure. Teasing the launch of her Only Fans page,  she wrote , "Come see a whole different side of me." Though she's currently based in Miami, after spending time in Southern California with pal Kelsie, she wrote on Instagram March 7 , "How long until Kels convinces me to move to San Diego…best weekend with the best people."

Below Deck Season 6: Where Are The Cast Members Now?

of Below Deck Season 6: Where Are The Cast Members Now?

Bravo’s ‘Below Deck’ is a reality television show that focuses on the crew members who work on a private yacht as they cater to the needs and demands of high-end clients who embark on lavish and exclusive charter vacations. The crew members must also deal with their drama, which often spills over into their work lives. The sixth season of the show follows its cast into the yacht named My Seanna as it sails in the stunning waters of Tahiti. Since the premiere of the season in October 2018, fans have followed their favorite cast members closely and have been curious to know more about them since it wrapped up. We have got all the details for you, so let us begin!

Lee Rosbach is a Published Author Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Captain Lee Rosbach (@captain_lee_rosbach)

The captain of the ship was a veteran face in the sixth season of the show. He managed to run the boat successfully and was able to tackle the interpersonal problems that came his way. As a captain, he had to make some hard decisions but it did not deter Captain Lee from coming back to the show for a couple of more seasons. Owing to his health issues, he had to take a break during the filming of the tenth season and he revealed he will not be returning to the show.

Captain Lee is a published author of ‘Running Against the Tide: True Tales from the Stud of the Sea’, a book he co-wrote with Michael Shohl. He is enjoying his time with Laura Monteverdi, his wife, and lovingly calls her “my bride” in all of his Instagram posts. He has confirmed that he will be doing more work with Bravo but the details are still unknown.

Adrian Martin is Focusing on Family Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrian Martin (@chefadrianmartin)

The Chef on the cruise for Season 6 was Adrian Martin. He was well-liked by all other crew members because of his calm and composed demeanor and pleasant temperament. However, third stew Laura Betancourt, in one of her confessionals, mentioned Adrian passed some romantic advances and sexually charged remarks that made her feel uncomfortable. On the show, he apologized for his behavior when she confronted him about it. After appearing on ‘Below Deck’ for a single season, Adrian kept working as a chef in NYC and then moved to Saint Martin, where he grew up.

Following that, Adrian had been offering private dining experiences to his clients and had shared that he wanted to go on a tour all over the US. Interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Adrian picked up on his plans after 2021 and even worked on a couple of yachts during this time. In 2022, Adrian and his partner, Grace, had a daughter whom they named Poppy Eloise. From what we can tell, he is now settled in Oregon with his lovely family.

Kate Chastain is  a Proud Mother Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kate Chastain (@kate_chastain)

The fan-favorite, Kate, brought her usual flair and feistiness to the sixth season of the show as well. There were many people she head-butted with but that is what fans love to see. In August of 2023, she appeared on a show named “Couch Talk” with Captain Lee and they discussed the “biggest moments of the week”. She is a new and proud mother of baby boy Sullivan Cay and has over one million followers on Instagram. This successful influencer has found different ways to reach new heights in her career and there is no stopping for Kate anytime soon.

Josiah Carter is Living a Content Life Today

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Josiah Carter (@josiahcarter_)

The British steward brought his refined service skills and keen attention to detail to the yacht and formed a good relationship with Kate. He quickly became a fan favorite and won over many hearts with his funny but well-meaning comments. After he departed from the show, he expressed that he could come back to the franchise for one of the spin-offs but the plans did not materialize due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Josiah is currently the owner of an ethical clothing brand named House of XOXO and is also a famous Instagram influencer. He and his long-time partner adopted a puppy Spoodle in December 2020 and they named him River. In addition to the fulfilling moments in Josiah’s life, he got engaged to Michael Groves in February 2022 and the couple will be married very soon this year. It seems like Josiah is very content in his life right now, and the doors for coming back to the Bravo production are not closed for him.

Caroline Bedol is Leading a Private Life Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by @socrazysocaroline

Caroline’s entry into the show was quite promising but it was not an easy ride for her as she sustained a lot of minor injuries and got into some heated arguments during the show. Even though Kate and Josiah celebrated her leaving the show, fans could not help but wonder what she has been up to. Caroline has kept a low profile since leaving the show and revealed that the time she spent on the show was quite traumatizing and she would like to recuperate for a while.

In a Reddit AMA, she did say that she can think about returning to the show. She said , “I would have another go at the third-stew position! Only because they would literally never attempt to eff with me again haha”. She has picked up her interest in horse riding again and espouses her political beliefs boldly. It looks like Caroline is gradually healing and is paving the way for great things ahead.

Laura Betancourt is a Yoga Instructor Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Laura Betancourt (@laurabetancourt)

Laura joined as a stew to replace Caroline in the middle of the charter season. Her strong personality clashed with Kate at the beginning of her arrival but the two were able to figure out a friendship along the way. Laura also had a brief romantic stint with Ashton while they were aboard.

Post leaving the show after just six episodes, Laura is now working as a yoga and fitness instructor with many certifications under her belt. She even hosts online practice sessions for her clients, which include celebrities. She is currently living in Hawaii and is making her followers envious with pictures of herself in beautiful and underexplored locations. From what we can tell, Laura is either single or she has decided to keep her love life under the radar. Whatever the case may be, she has great things written for her in the coming years and she seems to be thriving.

Chandler Brooks is Focusing on Personal Growth Now

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

The bosun of the yacht, Chandler, was not a favorite member of the crew. They felt he was not performing well at his job and had a bad attitude. He landed in a lot of trouble with Captain Lee because of not adhering to his orders and poorly treating his deckhands. Many fans agreed with Captain Lee for firing him but a lot of speculation has gone around related to his departure and his whereabouts after the show. Even though his co-star Caroline, in an AMA, said that Chandler was fired because he told the production team he wanted to resign and was overwhelmed with the job, there is no proof of the same.

Since his departure, Chandler has continued to rise the ranks in the yachting industry and is in a loving relationship with Jamie Jason, a cast member of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ season 3. Even though he is not present on social media, Jamie kept her profile public till a few years ago and it was evident that the couple were building a strong relationship while enjoying their respective careers and traveling. Chandler seems to have found some peace and stability in his life after the show, and better things are in store for him.

Ross Inia Keeps a Low-Profile Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ross Inia (@ross_inia)

Ross Inia joined the show as a deckhand but following Chandler’s untimely departure from the show, he was promoted to bosun. According to his crew mates, he was a better leader than Chandler, even though he was not the best. He gained a lot of love and liking from the fans of the show but Inia did not make a second appearance. In December 2018, following the season wrap-up, Inia was partying with a few friends in West Palm Beach, Florida, when he got into a fight and was reportedly arrested for disorderly intoxication and battery.

As per reports, Inia was charged with a couple of felonies but the charges were later dropped to misdemeanors when he entered a “not guilty” plea. According to Bravo, he said, “It was just me and a couple of mates having a night out. That’s pretty much all I can say. I can’t really elaborate on it. It was a big misunderstanding.” He has kept a low profile since then and frequently posts pictures with his son, Kai. On a personal front, he got engaged to his girlfriend, Rachel, in May 2021 and wants to spend more time in Florida to stay close to both his son and his fiance. Sadly, Inia’s father passed away in February 2022. Though he misses him every single day, Inia keeps his father’s memories alive in his heart.

Ashton Pienaar is Doing Community Work Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Yo-Yo Diet Recovery Coach (@ashtonpienaar)

Ashton survived a near-death experience in the show when his leg got caught in a towline but he was fortunately saved by a cameraman. He returned to the show for the next season, but it soon became apparent that he had a drinking problem which led to him being fired. After he left the show, Ashton turned his life around and is currently the owner of a fitness company called A P Elite. In 2021, he declared that he had been sober for a year and is making strides in delivering on personal and familial relations. He is not only helping himself but also providing support to people to lead better and healthier lives and it seems like he is meant to do even greater things.

Rhylee Gerber is an Entrepreneur Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rhylee Gerber (@thelifeofrhylee)

Born and brought up in Alaska, Rhylee joined the ‘below Deck’ crew as a deckhand. She did not get along well with many people in the show but always ended up in heated arguments with Ashton. She came back to the show for a subsequent season but has not made an appearance since then.

After deciding to leave the show for good, Rhylee went back to Alaska and started fishing professionally. She frequently posted about the daily ins and outs of her life and after the pandemic was over, she moved into a van and started traveling across the country. She was accompanied by her dog, Dolce, whom she lost to an unbeatable tumor in July 2020. She is currently an entrepreneur and is seemingly involved in animal rescue. She is a very successful influencer and is shining brighter than ever.

Tyler Rowland is a Digital Creator Now

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tyler Rowland (@tyler.c.rowland)

With STCW and CPR certifications, Tyler made a good deckhand on ‘Below Deck’. Some sparks flew between him and Rhylee during the filming of the show but it did not lead to long-lasting relationships. After the show, he went back to working as a firefighter and has also become a digital creator. He has reclaimed his liking for adventure and frequently treks and travels to obscure destinations. He expresses interest in a lot of arenas like fitness, food, and activism. It is great to see Tyler being in his element and reclaiming his true self to achieve better.

The Bravo reality hit Below Deck is back for Season 11 with a new captain at the helm. After Lee Rosbach’s departure last season, Capt. Kerry Titheradge is crossing over from the spinoff Below Deck Adventure to lead the crew of the M/Y St. David through the crystal blue waters of Grenada.

That crew includes the returning chief stew Fraser Olender and lead deckhand Ben Willoughby , plus a handful of new cast members: chef Anthony Iracane; bosun Jared Woodin; deckhands Sunny Marquis and Kyle Stillie; and stews Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual.

As Season 11 starts, Olender is asserting more leadership by delegating more and worrying less about friendship with the stews, Bravo says in a press release. Meanwhile, Ben’s firsthand experience with the ship causes a rift with Woodin, and a messy galley puts Iracane in hot water. “Between budding boatmances, explosive nights out and department drama, it’s not all smooth sailing in Grenada,” Bravo teases.

To celebrate this 11th season, see what 11 former Below Deck stars have gotten up to lately in the photo gallery blow.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3: 5 Things you need to know about Bravo reality show

Glenn Shephard

Captain Glenn, a Montreal native, has always been driven by a desire to see the world. He was offered to serve as a deckhand aboard a 50-foot classic sailboat early in his journeys and was immediately captivated, never looking back. Glenn has welcomed hundreds of high-end guests during many hectic charter seasons during his 21 years in the industry, spanning 12 years as Captain on Parsifal III. While being a Bravo celebrity might be overwhelming, Glenn has stayed humble about his newfound status. While sipping drinks on the Spanish shore, the celebrity now gives Zoom sessions with fans of the program, where he spills on behind-the-scenes insights.

Colin MacRae

Colin MacRae, a seasoned sailor, spent 13 years as a Chief Engineer aboard superyachts before joining Parsifal III for his Season 2. On January 23, the head engineer shared the first official photo of himself and his girlfriend, Silvia Latini, on Instagram, announcing their significant relationship. "Everyone meet [Silvia]. She’s my girlfriend. Been almost a year now but we chose to keep it private. But we announced it on YouTube today," Colin wrote. In the comments of the Instagram post, Colin and Silvia received a lot of love from the Below Deck Sailing Yacht clan, including Captain Glenn Shephard, Sydney Zaruba, and Dani Soares, all of whom conveyed their fondest wishes for the couple.

Gary's 12 years of experience shows in the way he manages his deck crew, having commanded smaller boats and run the deck on several busy yachts. Gary is also famous for hooking up with his crewmates and has a party animal in him that pops out when the occasion is perfect. Gary was shown making out with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent teaser, which stunned many fans. Gary King first boarded the yacht Parsifal III in March 2021, while it was cruising in Croatia. Fans were unclear if he will return in Season 3 after the conclusion of Season 2. He surprised his followers, though, by uploading a photo on Instagram of himself formally joining the third season.

Natasha de Bourg

Chef Natasha is a Trinidadian who studied culinary arts in Europe before working at Michelin-starred restaurants. This season's chef, Marcos Spaziani, will be taking over the kitchen from Natasha De Bourg, and he'll be serving up some fire!

Daisy Kelliher

Chief stew is back. Daisy Kelliher is considered a legend in the sailing world. Daisy has a lot to live up to when she returns to Parsifal III following a successful previous season, and she can always be counted on to say what she thinks. Daisy Kelliher of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, who is known for her optimistic attitude, recently shared on social media that she has suffered from severe separation anxiety. Daisy is back for another season of the Bravo spinoff, and after a rocky first season at sea, she is attempting to be more transparent. Daisy startled fans when she stated that she had always suffered from acute separation anxiety. Her profession as a yachtie has just added to her sense of loss. The stew posted a photo of her sad face with a detailed explanation underneath it. Daisy pointed out that, while it may appear like being joyful is simple on social media, it isn't always the reality. She wanted to remind her followers that mental health difficulties affect many individuals, including herself.

Dani Soares

In the show, she is famous for her boat romance with Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux. Dani Soares' fame has increased dramatically since joining 'Below Deck Selling Yacht,' as has the controversy in her personal life. Last year, the actress revealed her pregnancy to her followers. She claimed to have conceived while production for 'Below Deck' was underway, causing outrage and leading viewers to assume Jean-Luc was the father. After a year of conjecture and guesses, as well as a rocky relationship with Dani Soares, deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux has finally revealed the long-awaited news. Linux has officially revealed that he is the father of Lily-Rose, Dani Soares' daughter, and is now learning to co-parent with his co-star.

Sydney Zaruba

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', Bravo's yacht drama, is back for its third season, with new and returning cast members. However, Sydney Zaruba, who appeared in the previous two seasons, has announced that she would not be returning for the third season. Sydney Zaruba is the owner of Explorateur Travel, LLC, a travel firm. Through custom itineraries, the travel adviser wishes to link her customers with the rest of the globe. She has also managed to keep connected to her sea life through her podcast platform, Nautical Nonsense Pod. The water baby discusses the sea and wild waves of history, the ocean, and the folklore that surrounds it in her podcast.

Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux

Following the Season 2 reunion of 'Below Deck: Sailing Yacht', there was a lot of misinformation about the baby that  Dani Soares was about to give birth to. Soares wasn't perplexed; she knew her co-star Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux was the father, but he refused to have anything to do with the kid, she said. He said, on the other hand, that all he wanted was a paternity test to be sure. Lanaux has confirmed that he is the father of Dani Soares' baby Lily-Rose, and is now learning to co-parent with his co-star.

Is Below Deck Sailing Yacht Better Left on the Ocean Floor?

By Amy DeVore

Is it time to give up on a Below Deck Sailing Yacht return?

Gary King has placed Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s future in jeopardy. Joining this cast in Season 2, Gary has given us three seasons of very clear patterns. Simply put, Gary loves the ladies. In fact, his storylines every single season have always involved at least one love triangle, and/or a drunken one-night stand.

But then, the sexual assault situations on Below Deck Down Under Season 2 arose. The ramifications from this quickly began trickling down towards every other series on Bravo. In a good way, the department heads and the production teams dove into action, protecting the innocent parties onboard. This was rightfully celebrated, but in this, many of the viewers also began verbalizing their thoughts on Gary, stating that he is quickly becoming a problem-in-waiting for this network.

Clearly, the safety of everyone on set is a serious matter. So serious in fact, that the latest allegations made against Gary are seemingly giving this network a major pause on how to move forward with this series. I get this, as some shipwrecks are hard to salvage, but, is this the case for BDSY? Or, can this sailing yacht still rise up from the dank floors of the ocean, salvaged for many more seasons to come?

A recap of the latest allegations against Gary

Production members accuse "Below Deck" of covering up Gary King's alleged sexual misconduct: "It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times" https://t.co/aodB8Jho8n — Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) August 25, 2023

Last year, after filming for BDSY Season 5 had already wrapped, with Gary’s likeness attached, an explosive Rolling Stone article was released. In this, a production member named Samantha Suarez claimed that Gary had attempted to force himself on her during filming for Season 4. Several crew members also stated that they’ve witnessed Gary “constantly” making women uncomfortable with his aggressive pursuits. One anonymous source went even further, alleging that they saw Gary grab a cast member’s butt, touching her despite her spoken “No.”

Shortly after this exposé dropped, the calls for canceling Gary began. Bravo went first, uninviting Gary’s bun from BravoCon. Then, Gary took zero accountability online, likely sealing his fate with this network forever. But, as his new season has already been filmed, how on earth can this network now move forward with their material?

What an edited Season 5 could look like

Again, BDSY Season 5 has already filmed, so recasting Gary’s role is out of the equation. However, we’ve already seen a Season 5 edit go down, via Peter Hunziker over on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5. Like Gary, Peter also filmed an entire season, but when racist posts of his appeared online, his firing followed. Since his season had already wrapped, the post-production teams had the grueling job of editing Peter’s likeness out of every single scene.

That said, Peter was brand new to this franchise. Therefore, as a viewer, I wasn’t tuned into Peter’s faded presence at all. In contrast, Gary has starred on BDSY for three long seasons. We all know Gary, and in almost every single scene that’s aired, Gary’s present, and for the most part, his antics are the main storylines.

This means that editing out Gary will likely leave BDSY Season 5 with some pretty major plot holes. Unless the other cast members brought it, that is. So, if it’s between editing Gary out for this one season, or leaving this one season alone to just die slowly down on the ocean’s floor, it’s probably better to just scrap this whole season.

But, if they do this, and Season 5 (re)films sans Gary, can BDSY puke and rally as a series?

Can a reboot better save Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

As humans, we tend to gravitate towards the familiar. This recipe has worked well with BDSY for three seasons. Colin MacRae , Daisy Kelliher , and Gary all entered during Season 2, becoming the staples for this Below Deck spin-off. Working underneath Captain Glenn Shephard , these four brought this series into the fold, making it one of the greatest BD series ever, for a short time at least.

With these new allegations against Gary though, it’s very clear that Bravo might have to remove him from their lineups. Thankfully, Colin and Daisy are back to being friends. They fixed their fallout from Season 4, which I love. This leaves Colin far more likely to return to filming.

You see, unlike Gary, Colin actually sat Season 5’s filming out. But, if this entire season now gets a reboot, Colin can hopefully return. This would bring this series back up to 3 familiar faces, instead of just the 2 found in Daisy and Captain Glenn. This would royally suck for the newbies of Season 5 though, as all of their efforts will get left on the cutting room floor.

Unless Bravo brings them all back to film underneath Colin, instead of Gary. But would this series still be watchable at this point? Do we need Gary? Or neh, let’s reboot and resail BDSY ?

So, do we vote to save Below Deck Sailing Yacht, or do we just let it sink?

missed them ? #BelowDeckSailing pic.twitter.com/YHdRtKgMkq — Below Deck Sailing Yacht (@BelowDeckSailng) April 11, 2023

And now, our one main ask remains; what do we do with the future of this one particular series? Are Colin, Daisy, and Captain Glenn likable enough to help keep Below Deck Sailing Yacht afloat? Or, has this series run its course, becoming far too tarnished by Gary’s antics, and a lack of oversight onboard as to his problematic ways, to fully survive?

If it were up to me, I’d sink the footage that has already taped. Editing out Gary will be tough AF, because he’s everywhere, always. After that, I’d bring back Colin and keep Daisy, but I’d also try and get as many of their costars from Season 4 to return as possible because these drama-free yachties during a messy main character season gave me life. But also Bravo, if you’re listening, if anyone great filmed for your first take of Season 5, then maybe let’s get them back into the fray as well, eh?

The Truth About Working On 'Below Deck', According To Cast Members

You’ve reached your account maximum for followed topics.

  • Below Deck cast members have revealed they work long hours, follow strict rules, and have limited privacy.
  • Producers even control cabin lights and encourage drama for better TV.
  • Cast members' pay is similar to their yacht industry peers, but food and conditions aren't always luxurious.

It's not always smooth sailing for cast members in Bravo's Below Deck franchise.

Current and former cast members are spilling the tea about the long hours, "strict" rules about hooking up with off-air crew members and other secret moments that are not shown on the small screen.

This article will reveal what sleeping conditions, food and drama are really like behind the scenes of the hit Bravo franchise.

What Happens Behind The Scenes Of Below Deck ?

Life at sea may be full of crisp champagne and glamor for the guests, but the employees on the charter yacht sometimes have to face rough waters to make attendees and fans happy.

Below Deck' s former chief stew Kate Chastain wasn't afraid to tweet her thoughts about the job back in July 2020.

Below Deck is one of the most difficult shows out there for cast members. Every night, after working 16+ hours, we’d get into our tiny bunk, [and] have to wave to the camera so they’d turn our lights off.

According to an article from the New York Times , the cast doesn't even have control of their own cabin lights. When they nap or sleep, they have to make movement on camera to make producers (watching them) in the control room turn the lights on and off.

Bravo's promotional picture for the next season of the hit show.

I Know How Much Below Deck Mediterranean Guests Pay To Be On The Show, and It's Not What You Think

Below Deck Mediterranean passengers pay tens of thousands of dollars to experience a once-in-a-lifetime journey on the popular Bravo show.

In an interview on the Discretion Advised podcast , Kate Chastain said she would have loved to "hook up" with some of the camera crew on the show, but they have a "strict" ban in place.

Aside from the option of jumping ship, there isn't anywhere for cast members to get private time away from the cameras, because three crews rotate in and out to make sure everything is filmed 24/7.

Chastain added that the only time they are not allowed to film the crew is when people are in the bathroom (alone) with the door closed.

If there are two people in the bathroom, they're going to knock on the door until you open the door.

In a 2020 interview with the New York Times, executive producer Courtland Cox admitted the food behind the scenes isn't even close to what their five-star guests enjoy.

Cox said he has a packed shelf of treats and is "disgusted" with himself every time he stress ate Swedish Fish.

Francesca Rubi, who was a chief steward on season 8 of Below Deck, said the television show makes life at sea appear more dramatic than it actually is.

Rubi said she was challenged by television producers to do activities that would create drama for the cast and guests at the last minute, but she said in reality, teams are very organized, so there isn't often a scramble to make up events.

She added that other yachts (that are not making a television show) sometimes have strict weight and weight requirements depending on who owns it.

How Much Are Below Deck Cast Members Paid?

The actual number has not yet been revealed but a spokesperson for Bravo told the New York Times that "most" cast members' pay is "roughly the same as they would make doing their same job on a similar sized boat."

According to a TikTok influencer, a stewardess who uses the handle @superyatchtgirl, she said people in her profession make between $2,100 to 3,250 per month depending on how large the boat is.

Why Below Deck Have A Walkout?

The drama isn't just saved for your screen. Chaos behind the scenes almost ended the show before it even began.

According to Reality Blurb' s interview with series creator Mark Cronin, early on in the first season, a crew walkout happened because they thought the show's producers planted drugs on the yacht.

Yachting is very important to them and keeping their yachting certifications and their licenses. And it wasn’t a joke. So they were looking at us like, ‘Well, what is this? Are you setting us up? Are these guests coming on here to make our lives difficult on purpose? And are you like to what extent are you messing with us?’

Ironically, a white powder was found in a guest's cabin by stew Kat Held and Captain Lee Rosbach booted an entire group of guests off the yacht.

Cronin said he had to convince the crew during season 1 that the show was not setting them up nor trying to put their jobs at risk.

Eventually, they calmed down, and we, of course, went back to shooting the show. And the rest is history. But that the fact that that happened the second day of shooting was probably the biggest disaster that’s been on the show.

Ashton Pienaar

Ashton Pienaar has taken on a safer life and now is a fitness coach. As fans recall, he fought death during season six after being caught in a tow-line, dragged and rescued by a camera operator. According to his LinkedIn, he claims to be an "executive body, mind and life engineer" as well as "The #1 Yo-Yo Diet Recovery Coach."

In October 2023, he married his longtime girlfriend Sarah McAlpine Cooper in a small ceremony.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Official date, cast members and destination revealed

By Editorial Team   20 December 2019

After exclusively breaking the news about the brand new 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' series earlier this year, YachtCharterFleet can now unveil more details about Bravo's latest addition to the Below Deck franchise.

Set to hit our screens on February 3, 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' will follow a new crew of yachties as they set sail around the coastlines of Greece .

This is the first series in Below Deck history which features a luxury sailing yacht, with the 180ft sailing yacht Parsifal III playing the starring role.

The new series joins the original Below Deck, which premiered in 2013, and Below Deck Mediterranean, which premiered in 2016.

Promising even more action on the high seas, a new trailer gives us an insight into what we can expect from the show's first ever season.

Get ready for a new Below Deck yacht with a new crew on board (and Chef Adam)! ⛵🌬️ The SERIES PREMIERE of #BelowDeckSailing sets sail February 3! https://bravo.ly/BDSYFB Publiée par Bravo sur  Mercredi 18 décembre 2019

What's different about the new series?

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

This is the first ever time Below Deck has branched away from motor yachts, and the sailing vessel component of the new series is expected to inject even more drama to the show.

This is partly due to the fact that the design of luxury sailing yachts leads to far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck.

Although the 180ft Parsfill III is the 59th largest sailing yacht ever build, her interior volumes are much smaller than a motor yacht of the equivalent length. Motor yachts are typically wider, and have more decks- Parsifal III has just three slim decks.

Sailing yachts also heel (lean) from side to side while under sail, creating plenty of problems for the interior team as you can see in the trailer above.

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

Sailing yachts generally feature smaller galleys, tiny stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, making it more challenging for the crew to deliver their signature silver service.

Sailing yachts also heel (lean) from side to side while under sail, creating plenty of problems for the interior team, as you can see in the trailer above.

In addition, we can expect to see the deck crew placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring accuracy and skills to manoeuvre safely.

Furthermore, plenty of deck duties take place in the midst of guest areas, so the pressure will be on as the sailors struggle to keep their cool in front of their charter guests.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Cast: New crew and a familiar face

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

The crew is helmed by the yacht's full-time captain Glenn Shepherd, a keen sailor with 10 years of experience on board Parsifal III. This is unusual for Below Deck, as the full-time crew are usually replaced with a temporary cast during filming.

Long-time Below Deck fans will spot a familar face in the crew; chef Adam Gliick, who made his debut appearance in Below Deck Mediterranean season 2 and is returning for the first season of the new Sailing Yacht series.

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

There is also a couple onboard, which is common in yachting, but has never been seen before on Below Deck. Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry also work full-time on Parsifal III, but the pair has never worked in the same department before. Berry works as the yacht's first mate, while Duggan will be stepping in as deckhand.

The interior crew is headed up by chief stewardess Jenna MacGillivray. She will need to have a firm hold on her crew and an even firmer hold on her interior, as unsecured items will wreak havoc when the yacht catches wind and heels (leans). She is joined by second stewardess Madison Stalker and third stew Georgia Grobler.

Where was Below Deck Sailing Yacht filmed?

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

Filming for the new series took place around the Greek island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea. The yacht's homeport for the series was Corfu Yacht Harbour; this is where we can expect to catch our first glimpse of the charter guests as they embark and disembark the yacht.

When will Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiere?

The new Sailing Yacht series premieres Monday, February 3rd at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo TV.

How much does it cost to rent the Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

Parsifal III charters from $195,000 per week plus expenses. This does not include the price of food, drinks, the cost to dock, or fuel costs associated with water toys.

Unexpected hookups and yachting emergencies are on the horizon when Season 3 premieres this February.

below deck sailing yacht crew where are they now

All aboard for some naughty -cal drama! Below Deck Sailing Yacht is heading back to our shores for Season 3 with a supersized premiere episode on Monday, February 21 at 8/7c.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Peacock and the Bravo app .

Returning to the helm of Parsifal III will be Captain Glenn Shephard , who will fearlessly lead the crew through another wild charter season full of outrageous guests, hookups, injuries, and emergencies. Other familiar faces will also be back aboard the vessel as it sails around stunning Menorca, Spain, including chief stew Daisy Kelliher , chief engineer Colin MacRae , and first mate Gary King . Some new yachties will also be joining the ranks of Captain Glenn's crew: chef Marcos Spaziani , second stew Gabriela Barragan , third stew Ashley Marti , as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson .

Catch Up on BDSY Season 3 in the Free Bravo App!

Yes, if we had one word to describe the new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , it would definitely be shocking . That's because it is truly full of moments we just didn't see coming, such as a new twist in onetime adversaries Daisy and Gary's relationship . Oh, and if you thought Gary's Season 2 love triangle was juicy, just wait until you see what the press release for the new season describes as "a twisted love pentagon " unfold.

As Captain Glenn tries to shake off the boat crash from last season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , he'll have another headache on his hands as the Parsifal III crew must spring into action when they suspect the vessel is dragging anchor. "You can lose the boat," Captain Glenn says in the above preview. "It's about as serious as it gets."

But Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht won't be all serious. There's also plenty of fun in store, as well as some major conflict among the crew — which, if you're like Colin, you'll have a blast watching this season. "I do enjoy a little drama here and there," the chief engineer says in the sneak peek. "It keeps me entertained."

Same, Colin, same.

Catch all the drama when Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 kicks off on Monday, February 21 at 8/7c and stream the first two seasons on Peacock now. Bravo Insider members can get the exclusive scoop on what's new with Captain Glenn, below.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

I'm convinced below deck sailing yacht season 5 will include gary king in the cast (was it filmed before the scandal), daisy kelliher may not return to below deck sailing yacht (she needs to focus on family).

  • Gary King's scandal caused the delay of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 filming and may result in reshoots without him.
  • Allegations of sexual misconduct against Gary led to Bravo removing him from BravoCon 2023 and potential removal from the show.
  • Chief Engineer Colin leaving the crew may require the hiring of a new Bosun before Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 can move forward.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been one of the most highly anticipated returning shows on Bravo, but I don’t think the series is coming back - at least not anytime too soon . After Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 served some incredible drama, viewers have been impatiently waiting for the series to return. Throughout the Below Deck franchise, spin-offs can be hit or miss, so when Below Deck Sailing Yacht did well, many were excited to see more from the well-established crew. During the most recent season of the series, the yacht crew faced some intense issues both personally and professionally.

While Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 featured an interesting iteration of Parsifal III’s crew, the season also faced some of the most intense drama the show has ever seen. Between the love triangle between Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacRae, and Gary King , which pushed a longtime friendship to the brink of destruction, and the drama between Gary and the rest of the women aboard the sailing yacht, there was very little room for the usual fun Below Deck antics between the crew. I’m convinced that the drama that occurred after the season has shelved Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 .

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

The Gary King Scandal Pushed The Show Back

After Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 finished airing, there was a reunion for the crew and many of the yachties were set to return to work aboard Parsifal III shortly thereafter. There were reports that Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 had begun to film, and both Gary and Daisy were spotted on Parsifal III with Below Deck production on site. Many were ready to hear more about the season, but it has been quiet ever since the end of last season, likely due to some drama regarding First Officer Gary .

After Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 ended, viewers were concerned with the way Gary had behaved toward the women aboard Parsifal III. While Gary is always flirty with Daisy, he’d been somewhat inappropriate sexually with Mads Herrera, and though he apologized during the reunion, it left a bad taste in some viewers’ mouths. While some were concerned for the safety of the women aboard the sailing yacht, it was uncovered that there had been allegations of sexual misconduct lodged against Gary by a Below Deck Sailing Yacht makeup artist , as well.

The makeup artist recounted her traumatic time with Gary, sharing that she’d been struggling with the decision to come forward, but ultimately wanted to ensure that something was done about the behavior. While Bravo didn’t take Gary’s alleged misbehavior lightly , they didn’t directly comment on it, either. Instead, they removed him from the lineup at BravoCon 2023, and did their best to move forward with the Below Deck franchise amidst the turmoil.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht May Have Already Filmed With Gary

While Gary was dealing with some extreme issues behind the scenes, he was allegedly already filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 . Photos revealed locations of the spots that the sailing yacht would be filming in, and Gary was part of the crew who were aboard Parsifal III. As the show may have already filmed and includes Gary, I believe one of the issues that’s causing it to be delayed or deterred is that Gary’s a part of the stor y. After the allegations against him, it’s possible Bravo may want to move forward without Gary as part of the show.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Might Need A New Bosun

Aside from the allegations against Gary, t here were some other issues with the Parsifal III crew that needed to be addressed before Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. After his relationship with Daisy didn’t work out, Chief Engineer Colin shared that he wouldn’t be returning to the Bravo series for another charter season. Hurt by the way his relationship with his longtime friend Daisy had worked out, Colin decided to move on. With Colin missing from the Parsifal III crew , Below Deck Sailing Yacht likely needed to hire another Bosun before they could move forward with the charter season successfully.

Will Bravo Reshoot Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Because Of Gary?

Though Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 was already filmed, it’s possible that the show will never air in its current iteration because of the issues that were discovered with Gary while the charter season was happening. Though I believe that the show should likely go on as planned with some sort of disclaimer from Bravo about Gary’s behavior , it’s possible that the entire thing could be reshot to remove Gary from the crew. With Bravo viewers looking out for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, it may be the best thing for the network to reshoot and move forward.

Below Deck Med’s Captain Sandy Worries About ‘Catastrophic’ Charter After Aesha Goes to the Hospital (Exclusive)

Below Deck Mediterranean ‘s Captain Sandy Yawn isn’t sure she can pull off a successful charter without her chief stew, Aesha Scott .

In Us Weekly ‘s exclusive clip from the Monday, July 1, episode of the Bravo show, Aesha reveals to Sandy that she needs medical treatment.

“I just wanted to show you my thumb. In my experience, when it forms a line like that it is usually a sign of infection,” Aesha says about her injury, which occurred the previous night after she accidentally cut herself. “And it feels like there’s still some glass in there.

Sandy suggests that Aesha go to a hospital , adding, “Maybe we just send you ashore and get the glass cut out, get it wrapped and come back.”

In a confessional, Sandy admits she’s more worried than she’s letting on.

“If Aesha develops an infection and I can’t have her work the charter, it would be catastrophic for me,” she says. “The deck team is still finding their feet and we haven’t had the greatest last charter with the chef. I don’t need my interior to fall apart.”

Aesha also questions whether she would be able to make it back in time, saying, “I’m very worried about missing guest arrival. We are getting guests on in three hours. There is not much time to go to a Greek hospital, get it looked at and get back to the boat.”

Before Aesha’s injury, the chief stew and Sandy were working well together while filming season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean . Aesha originally joined the show during season 4 and worked as a second stew under Hannah Ferrier ’s reign. She became the chief stew alongside Captain Jason Chambers on Below Deck Down Under for the first two seasons of the spinoff before returning to her Below Deck Med roots.

Aesha recently opened up about why she had some anxiety when it came to returning to Below Deck Med .

“Oh my gosh, it was so special. It was very nerve-wracking just because I put so much pressure on myself to impress her,” she exclusively told Us earlier this month. “Because I worked with her as a second stew then I went away.”

While reflecting on the season, Aesha recalled her attempts to prove herself to Sandy.

Below Deck Med s Captain Sandy Worries About Possible Catastrophic Charter

“I felt like I grew into a woman. And as I said on the first episode [of season 9], it felt like I was coming home,” she continued. “I just respect her so, so much. I put a lot of pressure on myself — but I am really proud of what I did and I feel like I did a good job.”

Aesha gushed about how her friendship with Sandy was able to evolve off screen.

“It did [grow] in such a beautiful way. When I first worked for her as a second stew, it was very much like a captain and stew relationship. Then after the show when she got together with [her now-wife] Leah [Shafer] , who was based in Denver and we were in Breckenridge, we ended up seeing them more as friends,” Aesha, who is currently engaged to Scott “Scotty” Dobson, told Us. “Because we’d go up and have dinner and hang out and then coming back to work for her, it was just this very beautiful friendship.”

She concluded: “We were very professional together. But there were these moments where I’d sneak into the bridge and I’d show her a meme or something. I love that we have a little giggle and we just kind of grew this bond where we really relied on each other a lot.”

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
