This is a scale down of my own Scow 450. 5 1/2 sheets of ACX ¼" - 6 mm plywood. I recommend using epoxy, without glass fiber, on the bottom of the hull, chines and all edges.

REDUCED BOW DOWN . With increasing speeds, the drive force up in the rig and the drag underwater increase. The vertical lever between these two forces makes the boat pitch by the bow. And with bow down comes added drag. On a conventional hull, the transom will start to come in the water with increasing heel angle pushing the bow down further.

So you tend to see scow bows on boats with big rigs. In some ways, something like a 25 foot scow is often simply a 28 foot boat with the bow chopped off; in fact in some small boat classes where there was a length restriction and big rigs, designers just used to design a longer boat and then effectively chop the bow off at the desired length.

16-foot Scow-Style Boat-What is It?
Details: Stepping it off, my "foot-is-a-foot" tells me it is a 14' boat or 15' boat but not a 16. Definitely a planing hull, slightly blunt at the front, with a small start of a keel, but the exit at the transom is ruler flat. Flat going well forward too. Beefy loooking keel trunk, seems well built in a precision sort of way.
