Range & Performance

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel Cummins (NT-855 M) 270hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 14,005 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 4,542 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Unknown classification society rules.

A Summary of Motor Yacht DOZER

Hailing from the Broward Yachts shipyard in the United States the DOZER is 32 metre 105 (ft) in length. Launched in the year of 1991 her interior design and decor reveals the traditional approach of the design work of Yacht Interiors. Superyacht DOZER is able to accommodate up to 8 people with 5 professional crew. Her old, former or build project names are 520 Knot Tide; Miss Pauline; Johnny Be Good. She is able to attain a high speed of 25 knots.

The Building & Designing for Luxury Yacht DOZER

Broward Inhouse Yacht Design Team was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical plans for DOZER. Also the company Broward successfully collaborated on this project. Interior designer Yacht Interiors was commissioned for the internal interior ambience. Built at Broward Yachts the yacht was fabricated in the country of the United States. She was successfully launched in Fort Lauderdale Fl in 1991 before being transferred to the owner. The core hull was crafted from aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated largely with aluminium. With a beam of 7 metres / 23 ft DOZER has moderate size. A fairly shallow draught of 1.83m (6ft) limits the list of ports she can visit, contingent on their specific characteristics. She had refit maintenance and alteration work carried out in 1998.

Engineering & Speeds On M/Y DOZER:

The 16V 92TA engine powering the yacht is produced by DDC. Connected to her Ddc engine(s) are twin screw propellers (ulstein). The main engine of the ship generates 1450 horse power (or 1067 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum output for the boat is thus 2900 HP or 2134 KW.

When planning a charter, it's important to know what type of boat you want. There are many types of boats available, so it's important to choose the right one for your needs. We offer a variety of vessels, ranging from small sailboats to large cruise ships. Our staff members will help you find the perfect yacht for your event. When working with our staff member via telephone or email, they will line you up with the best possible luxury vessel for the best possible value.  Once you are in agreement, our team will send you a paypal request for a deposit.  The request will outline all of the different details of your trip or event.  Once the deposit is paid, the vessel is held for your important event duration.  Depending on your specific requirements, the remainder is usually due at the time of your charter unless there are special requirements which may require the remainder of the due amount several days before the charter.

Classic yachts, boats parade Puget Sound for Bell Harbor Rendezvous

Through rain or shine, more than 40 vintage boats were shown off at Seattle's waterfront this weekend.

SEATTLE - Through rain or shine, more than 40 vintage boats were shown off at Seattle's waterfront this weekend.

The Bell Harbor Rendezvous put on a free classic boat show for families to explore and learn more about the legacy each vessel holds.

The Classic Yacht Association has organized the show for the last 27 years, featuring boats of all shapes and sizes. The show included everything from a 1906 lifeboat to a 1948 former salmon troller.

FOX 13 talked with Dan Bartlett, owner of a 1946 boat called "Holiday." On this Father's Day, Bartlett said his parents took him on his first trip in the Holiday when he was about seven years old. 

Bartlett now has two grown children of his own, and his son hopes to take over the Holiday one day and keep it in the family.

He says it's important to commemorate older vessels and the rich history they have to offer through special events like these.

"They're dying, you know," Bartlett said. "They're hard to maintain, if the maintenance gets away from you. It's important for the classic yachts association to get together and share the boats with the community."

Bartlett said he enjoys taking part in the classic show annually to interact with the families and share stories about the holiday with the community.

Fiji works to recover patrol boat that ran aground after being gifted by Australia

A mission to salvage a boat that ran aground on its maiden voyage after Australia gifted it to Fiji has begun, with efforts underway to minimise any environmental impacts including a potential oil spill.

Fiji's navy said on Saturday that favourable weather conditions would assist the recovery of RFNS Puamau, which hit a reef on Fiji's remote Lau group of islands on Monday, during its first patrol.

It said in a statement that Australia had sent specialised recovery equipment that would be used to extract the boat from the reef, with a second vessel set to transport the gear to the site.

"The Republic of Fiji Navy reaffirms its commitment to minimising environmental impact during the de-fuelling process now underway," it said.

"Measures to mitigate a potential oil spill have been deployed, and navy divers and engineers on scene continue to monitor the situation."

The crew of RFNS Puamau returned to Suva after being collected by another vessel, RFNS Savenaca, on Saturday morning.

There are no reports of injuries due to the grounding incident but the extent of the damage to the boat remains unclear.

The event is a major embarrassment for Fiji's navy, which accepted the vessel at a ceremony in Perth in March.

The Guardian-class patrol boat is a popular choice with Pacific countries, with many using them to survey and protect vast marine zones.

As part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program, 19 boats have been so far handed over to Pacific nations.

However, the Australian government has admitted the boats are flawed, with Pacific Minister Pat Conroy revealing the vessels have some defects including potential exhaust issues.

Two of the Guardian-class boats were destroyed by cyclones that hit Tuvalu last year.

Another boat was gifted to Samoa after another Guardian-class boat was damaged beyond repair there in 2021.
