Thanks to her massive 24-foot beam she boasts plenty of interior volume, while still allowing for spacious walk-around decks for ease of access around the exterior of the boat.

Upon entering the salon from the aft deck through the double curved sliding glass door entry, you are immediately struck by the generous volume with plenty of natural light through the oversized windows port and starboard, conveniently shaded for direct sunlight by the walk-around overhangs. An adjustable blind system allows privacy when desired, and adjustment for various light conditions.

Immediately to port upon entering is a marble-topped wet bar with a glasses rack, ice machine, and sink. To port and starboard are elegant white leather couches, stain resistant and easily maintained, in the center is an adjustable coffee table. 

Forward is a large 72’ frame TV screen for displaying art or scenes to set a mood. At the far end of the main salon is the dining area.

Looking aft in the main salon is a second TV for those days with multiple programs or sporting events. This TV and the stereo equipment and electronics stow away behind a rolling cabinet door. There is storage for various board games.

Forward in the main salon is the dining area. Anchored by an 8-person dining table with beautiful inlaid wood. Lighting can be adjusted for breakfast, formal dinner, or workspace. Adjacent to the expandable dining room table are cabinets for storing the high-end dining room set.

The on-deck head and powder room is located forward of the main salon on the starboard side. With dark wood and marble sink and floor, this provides a convenient facility for guest use entering from the main salon and leaves a great impression.

The well-equipped galley is located forward from the main salon on the port side. Direct access to the main salon and dining area is for serving provided by a door that is closed during food preparation. Access by the crew is through a door to the exterior walk-around deck.

The galley has plenty of countertop and storage space with two generous granite countertops. The galley features storage, all the necessary appliances and SS sink with faucet.

There is a set of large 4-bay refrigerators along the entranceway, formerly a combination refrigerator/freezer that has been converted to refrigeration only with a large capacity stand-up freezer and additional stand-up refrigerator added to the garage.

The Endless Sun is equipped with an aft transom garage section that folds down to provide a beach club. This provides your very own waterfront entertainment venue wherever you may be anchored or docked. Access from the aft deck is provided by the hydraulicly deployed passerelle.

Unwind in your very own sea-level waterside haven, paddleboard, swim, float, or dangle your feet over the side as the crew deploys the jet ski from its remote-controlled slider. 

An ideal location to suntan, board a tender, and enjoy the view.

In the garage there is upright storage for dive tanks, various water toys, and accessories.

Endless Sun has an on-deck Master which is typically only found on larger yachts. Having on-deck access to the master is a great feature that allows for larger windows, bringing in more natural light. Only a few steps away from the dining and main salon areas is perfect for anyone not wanting to climb stairs every time they need to go to their cabin.

From super yachts to flybridge yachts, sport yachts to long range yachts, Azimut is a world leader in state of the art yacht building. It all began in 1969 when Paolo Vitelli decided to charter sailboats to people in Turin, Italy naming the company Azimut. The following 15 years was the foundation of Azimut. In 1970, Azimut started distributing on behalf of well-known yacht builders and caught the eye of the Dutch boat yard, Amerglass. It became a collaboration of Dutch innovation and Italian design. The collaboration gave life   to the AZ 43’ Bali, one of the largest mass-produced fiberglass yachts of the time. The next years brought great achievements. With a focus on the lower end market, Azimut created the famous AZ 32 Targa known as the “Model T” of the seas, selling over 200 units. Designing yachts for the demanding market was challenging at times, but Paolo’s enduring love of the sea kept him motivated and helped create the Failaka. Paolo was having dinner with the Prince of Kuwait and drew the design within a matter of minutes.   Failaka was the first 30-meter to be built entirely of fiberglass. The yacht brand caught the eye of Americans as the yacht was displayed at the Miami Boat Show in 1985.

After its partnership with other boatyards, it was Azimut’s turn to manufacture its own designs. In 1985 Azimut acquired Fratelli Benetti boatyard. Though Benetti held on to its brand for some time, it would eventually become Azimut Benetti Yacht Group. Known today as a world leader in yacht building with an expansive portfolio of innovative, quality mega yachts. With over a century of building under the Benetti name, the boatyard gave life to the Azimut designs without having to compromise quality. The boatyard brought innovation to the forefront. In 1988, the new Azimut Benetti group wanted to go big. It set out to conquer the Blue Ribbon Trophy with the Azimut Atlantic Challenger which carried one paying customer, Winthrop Rockefeller. Azimut gained Global recognition after the transatlantic trip.

The builder hired the Italian designer, Stefano Righini, which would set the standard of Italian design and the groundbreaking designs of Azimuts. Stefano changed the design of the yachts to feature lightness and space by freeing up their shape. He was a   trendsetter and distinguished Azimut Benetti with glued glass panes, electric windows and seats, and authentic wood interiors.

Azimut Benetti has acquired 6 boatyards over its 40 years in business and continues to grow to maintain excellent relations with their clients. The most important standard for Azimut is quality. The process begins with the client’s dreams. The dream becomes a reality at the boatyard, where the focus is style, innovation, and more importantly quality. Because quality gives value and value creates long lasting luxurious yachts that keep the client happy. Working with some of the highest construction standards applied to production boats. Today, Azimut uses 10 different types of multiaxial fabrics and DIAB Divinycell foam core, dryffell exterior cushions to channel water and humidity, two types of materials to drown noise, carbon fiber to provide lightweight solutions while preserving dynamic stability, Vynilester Resin to protect the hull, CRD and FEA analyisis, and structural bonding for high strength. Its no wonder why Boat Internatioal recognized Azimut as the number 1 in the world for mega yachts for the past 18 years.

Azimut Flybridge

Known for its extensive range, the Flybridge Collection is composed of eight different sizes ranging from 42’ to 80’. It allows its guest a flight experience above the sea. This collection of yachts seizes to amaze. The 60 Flybridge was awarded 2017 Best Layout Trophy in the 50’ to 80’ category. Azimut has extended the Flybridge Collection with the addition of the 55 Flybridge, featured at Boot Dusseldorf 2018.

S Collection

The sporty S Collection features harmonious, sleek lines that slice right through the water. High Tech solutions and performance material are what make up the S Collection, all while keeping the Italian elegance and design alive. This collection features 3 models: 55S, S7 and 77S. The S7 is the only one in its class to feature such floor plan, Winning the 2017 Best Technology Evolution Trophy. The carbon integration, in addition to the triple pod propulsion, on the S7 brings fuel efficiency and a unique open floor plan to the S Collection.

Created with the carefree traveler in mind, the Magellano Collection has limited fuel consumption, wide range of cruising speeds, and can take on any sea thanks to The Dual Mode hull. The long-range cruiser that broadens the horizon.

Atlantis Collection

The Atlantis Collection is a perfect mix of cruising, entertaining, and sport. The interior space is large and welcoming for guest entertainment or to just lounge around as the sea takes you to your next destination. There’s a size for everyone including the 34, 43, 50 Coupe, 50 Open, and the all new 51.

Grande Collection

As the collection name designates, the Grande Collection provides elegance, balance and lavish space. The Grande Collection begins with the new 27Metri with an interior by Achille Salvagni, who’s design is modern yet contemporary. Azimut does not leave anything behind in this model. Test driving the Azimut Seadeck 6 in Venice

It was a hot muggy morning at the Venice Boat Show, which made the cooling sea breeze all the more welcome as we put Azimut ’s new Seadeck 6 through her paces out in the lagoon.

The 17.5-metre vessel is the first in a series of three mild hybrid yachts, a range that will eventually include two bigger flybridge models and a culmination of Azimut’s 20-year R&D drive to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption throughout its fleet.

Complementing the three 480 HP engines are solar panels that feed a battery pack to run the boat’s hotel load emissions -free for up to eight hours when stationary. Azimut claims this hybrid propulsion, complete with optimised hull and lightweight carbon fibre used in the superstructure, will reduce C02 emissions by up to 40 per cent over a year of average use compared to a traditional boat of similar dimensions. This is accompanied by a range of eco-focussed details throughout the yacht.

By the sounds of it, Azimut spent a lot of time refining the hull shape and this is perhaps the model's most winning feature. The Seadeck showed us how she can progress smoothly through from displacement to planing and be most fuel-efficient at brisk cruising speeds between 22 and 27 knots. “I am proud of what we did with this hull,” Iacopo Senarega, Azimut’s research project manager, told me as we gathered speed. “Of course, I'm a technician, so I'm naturally more focused on naval architecture, but I think that the range of speeds the owner or captain can choose while keeping the efficiency at the same level is impressive. Equally, the design, which reflects all this engineering work; reducing consumption, reducing emissions, and giving the owner a wonderful experience.”

The aft deck centres around what Azimut calls the ‘Fun Island’, a place “where owners can get away from their daily routine and live in total contact with the sea.” The stepped deck is fitted with eco-friendly cork that is not only great for grip, but dries quickly and doesn’t get hot like wooden decks. Cork has also been carried through on the handrail of the side decks, which is a nice touch. Fun fact: the core of the boat is made from recycled plastic, or to be more precise, from 15,000 plastic bottles.

Inside, the creamy white pared-down interiors, designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, have a sustainable theme, including carpets made from recycled plastic or fishing nets. The open-plan main saloon features both a lounging area, galley and the helm station. A floor-to-ceiling window on one side gives you uninterrupted views out to the ocean and is fitted with anti-UV glass to reduce the need for air conditioning. A glass opening in the bulwark means you can still see the sea when sitting.

Everything in the galley is super-streamlined. No ugly kit here: the compact galley has an induction hob built into a tactile Lapitec worktop with only a few buttons to indicate its presence. The sink can be hidden away, the TV flips down from the ceiling and the fridge, cupboards and oven is tucked behind a ribbed light wood facia.

Below on the lower deck, there is a three-cabin, two-bathroom arrangement. The owner’s cabin comes with a private bathroom and plenty of storage. There is decent headroom, plenty of natural light and lots of space to move around, with a sofa tucked to one side. The VIP has private access to the dayhead, and while the twin is snug with narrow single beds, it will sleep two children or adults for a short jaunt. In smaller boats, corridors can feel dark and claustrophobic but this one benefitted from a strategically placed upper deck window.

So how did the Seadeck 6 perform? Thanks to her optimised hull and, of course, her Seakeeper stabiliser, she never once sacrificed comfort over speed. Perhaps most remarkable was how quiet the boat was at top speed (around 30-32 knots), with most of the noise coming from the water underneath the hull. Despite twisting the boat around a choppy lagoon and pushing the boat from zero to full throttle in under a minute, the ride was smooth; passengers sitting on the aft deck were sheltered and there was almost no spray evident on the hull or windows when the boat finally cruised back into port.

Azimut’s marketing blurb promises that the Seadeck is a “gentle way to live the sea” and the streamlined hull, quietly understated interiors and sustainable touches go a long way to tick that box. A stylish boat that delivers what she promises - style, and substance.

Over the years, the Azimut|Benetti Group has obtained the certifications in the Health sector and Safety in the workplace, first compliant with the international standard BS OHSAS 18001 and, with the migration in December 2020, to the new ISO 45001-2018 standard; this certification constitutes an absolute record in the yachting sector for multi-site Groups.

Azimut|Benetti is also in possession of the quality certification, compliant with the ISO 9001 -2015 standard for all the offices of the Business Line Yachts, R&D Varazze and, from December 2021, the Lusben area of Viareggio.

Why Azimut's Latest Green Yacht Is the Future

Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez had never designed a yacht before Seadeck 6. Azimut Yachts, which was founded by Paolo Vitelli in 1969 and sells to the world's rich and famous, was looking for a design conscious model that would bring man as close to nature as possible when they turned to the duo.

"To be sustainable there has to be a less extravagant luxury, different and less ostentatious so we chose this interiors look that is far from what you normally see in the yacht world," Rodriguez says.

Design studio Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, which was founded in 2003, has infused its conscious design concept into everything from hardwood flooring for Listone Giordano to saunas for Klafs.

Rodriguez explained that the hybrid motor yacht was envisaged for families. The design came to life with clean lines, calming colors and biodegradable materials like cork that replaced more commonplace ones like teak. Cork, he says, was chosen for its eco properties but also because it's an age-old Mediterranean material capable of spontaneous regeneration and embodies the ideal of a return to nature.

The studio worked with yacht designer Alberto Mancini, who came up with an innovative concept in which, right from the very first sketches, the exterior communicates naturally with the interior. This includes the new Fun Island feature, a suspended deck that brings everyone as close to the water as possible and allows them to reconnect with nature.

"We wanted to create a boat that puts maximum emphasis on the concept of openness and transparency, and that also represented a radical change in terms of the relationship with nature. With the introduction of the Fun Island, Seadeck is actually a floating island where owners can get away from their daily routine and live in total contact with the sea," Mancini says. He is regarded as one of the industry's top freelance designers and has worked with Baglietto, Fairline Yachts, Magnum Marine, Tankoa, Otam and Revolver.

More than half of Azimut's fleet is now made up of low-emission yachts that reduce CO2 emissions by between 20 and 30 percent. Seadeck 6 integrates an innovative system that allows both zero-emissions at anchor and cruising with the generator off, further reducing on-board consumption. This system, called Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode, is based on a 42-kWh lithium battery pack and an alternator connected to one of the three engines. Overall the vessel reduces CO2 emissions by 40 percent over a year of average use, both when cruising and at anchor, compared to a traditional flybridge boat of similar dimensions.

The company says it has invested 20 years of research and development in sustainable innovation and is working toward meeting the goals set by the International Maritime Organization for the overall industry to reduce CO2 emissions by 40 percent by 2030.

"Seadeck is a new starting point for future generations. We wish, once again, to chart a course that will be an inspiration for the entire industry, so that the theme of respect for the environment is interpreted - as it is for Seadeck - with a concrete approach made up of investment, technological research and the courage to introduce a new lifestyle that embraces the sea," says Azimut|Benetti Group chair Giovanna Vitelli.

He unveiled the model during Milan Design Week, providing one of its highlights. The vessel was hoisted into Milan's Bagni Misteriosi pool. An immersive installation titled "Mooring by the Moon" was curated by AMDL Circle, the multidisciplinary studio of well-known Italian designer  Michele De Lucchi.  The display unfolded in a journey through four acts focused on sustainable innovation at the Bagni Misteriosi pool with a choreographed performance culminating in a setting inflatable moon attached to a dancer in mid-air.

The design and nautical worlds have come together like never before over the last few years. In 2019, design legend  Patricia Urquiola  incorporated her signature flair into the Sanlorenzo SD96, starting with the modernist metallic winding staircase and finishings like a biscuit-patterned parquet floor and sleek modular furnishings.

In 2023, design duo Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Serafini made their yacht sector debut with a collaboration with Permare, an Italian shipyard founded in Sanremo in 1973. Together they unveiled the latest Amer Yacht F100 Glass Cabin, which, much to the design studio's surprise, won them the World Yacht Trophies 2023 Semi-Custom award at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

RH , formerly Restoration Hardware, unveiled RH Three in 2022, an expedition yacht available for charter in the Mediterranean during the summer and the Bahamas in the winter. Enhanced with a homey feel, RH Three's many design elements include cashmere bedding and an indoor dining space punctuated with deck chairs by Paola Lenti and Vincent Van Duysen.

Today, Italian shipyards account for 50 percent of all world orders of super yachts, says the Marine Industry Association.

The yachting sector employs 28,660 people in Italy, up 8.8 percent year-over-year. The weight of the yachting industry's contribution to Italy's gross domestic product rose 2.9 percent in 2021 to 3.23 percent in 2022, and has been on a steady uptick since 2013, rising sharply in the last two years, according to the association.

Azimut Yachts is part of the Azimut|Benetti Group and designs a wide range of motor yachts from 42 to 125 feet in length and is headquartered in Avigliana, near Turin. The firm posted total revenues equal to 1.3 billion euros in 2023 and holds the position as the world's leading manufacturer of yachts spanning more than 24 meters.
