Best Landing Spots to Win in Chapter 5 Season 1

Determining the best of anything can be a bit subjective, especially when it comes to a game like Fortnite . Some players might be more aggressive and seek out the hottest drops, while others might like a slower play of survival. So, in this list, I’ll show you the best landing spot for every kind of player in Chapter 5 Season 1.

The Marigold Yacht

Offering the perfect balance of challenge and ease , the Marigold is a large yacht found docked directly northeast of Pleasant Park and south of Ritzy Riviera . However, the cruise ship doesn’t give you much of a vacation. The boat has a few gun-wielding henchmen for you to take out, and you’ll gain access to a locked vault in the bilge of the ship as your prize. Additionally, the Marigold is more often than not an isolated landing zone, so you won’t necessarily run into another team off the get-go.

Any Weapon Case Locations

Dotted throughout the map you’ll find spray-painted locations that hide a secret stash of loot . Within these graffiti hideouts is a guarantee of rare or better weapons . You’ll find at least three at each location, giving you a decent leg-up on the competition from the start. In my experience, these locations are pretty quiet and I wouldn’t necessarily call it a hot-drop. Though, I’ll usually come across at least one team around weapon cases, so be ready to get in and get out.

The Train is one of the most exciting new POIs on the map , and for good reason. Not only does it take you all across the map, but it contains a rare treasure chest. You’ll need to interact with the chest and complete a heist to access the rare loot , but it’s worth it. It’ll take around 30 seconds for the heist timer to complete. In the meantime, there are loot cases found on the doorways between train cars . If it sounds too good to be true, that’s because it’s undoubtedly a hot drop. You’ll need to defend the capture point from other players , and in my experience, they’ll just keep coming. This drop is ideal for solo players.

Reckless Railway

Reckless Railway is one of my favorite main POIs. The location has a big boss that’ll drop a Shield Medallion , and the Train runs through the station , so you can catch a ride around the map if you stick around. Additionally, there are plenty of treasure chests, and a weapon case hidden underneath. Considering how stacked this location is, you can expect a gun-fight from numerous teams . So, if you’re a fan of a balanced action-packed departure from the Battle Bus, this is the location for you.

Lavish Lair

Lavish Lair is an impressive mansion that sits between snow-capped mountains. If it sounds like something out of a James Bond movie, you’re on the right track. The location is crawling with henchmen and a big boss to take out. Throughout the various floors of the sprawling manor, you’ll find plenty of loot to go around and plenty of enemies . Whether it’s a player or a henchman, you’re guaranteed a gunfight . I’d consider this the most challenging location on this list. So, this landing spot is perfect for the aggressive player .

Snooty Steppes

Snooty Steppes is one of the most relaxed big boss locations on the map . You’ll find Peter Griffin and his henchmen here, and the loot is spread out amongst plenty of buildings . In my experience, there’s plenty of space to keep your distance from your opponents if you want to — While reaping the benefits of tons of loot chests. Alternatively, you can fight Peter Griffin for his Shield Medallion . Once you get his health low enough he’ll stop to dance and won’t fight you anymore. So, this location is perfect if you’re in a squad and looking for a flexible drop spot .

A new chapter of Fortnite means a brand-new island to explore, with dozens of excellent landing spots for players to choose from. Picking the best landing spot is a crucial first step in any Fortnite match, and a solid start puts you in the best possible position for a Victory Royale. Luckily, the new island has lots of great landing spots, regardless of how you prefer to play.

Recent Fortnite Chapter 5 map leaks turned out to be surprisingly accurate, and there are a few interesting features for new and returning players to be aware of. Many areas of the island are now connected by high-speed rail, and you’ll find many of the game’s biggest locations are home to aggressive and hostile NPC bosses. These are all things to keep in mind when choosing the best landing spot.

Fortnite saw a player boom with the reintroduction of an iconic map. Some other franchises could see a similar boost with the return of classic maps.

8 The Train

Stage a daring train robbery with your squad.

Previous seasons of Fortnite had great landing spots, but The Train is perhaps the most unique landing spot ever introduced. Unlike other landing spots, it doesn’t stick to a single location and is constantly on the move, circling the whole island in just under ten minutes. There are stations to hop aboard all across the island, but you can also take the highly unconventional approach of landing straight on the Train.

This is difficult to pull off even under the best conditions, as the Train moves quickly, and you will need to get your timing absolutely spot on. However, you and your squad can receive great starting loot if you manage it. The Train features four basic chests and a large chest that eventually showers you with loot items after you hack it.

Landing on the Train can also prove risky. Unlike Fortnite’s other season-exclusive vehicles , players have no control over the Train, and it follows a predetermined route through areas that see a lot of player traffic. You’ll need to watch for other squads who might decide to hitch a ride to try and take your items.

You’ll also need to watch your Storm Circles to make sure the Train doesn’t pull you into danger.

7 The Island North Of Lavish Lair

A quieter start with plenty of forage.

Named Locations and Landmarks on the Fortnite island all tend to share one quality: they’re always busy. As such, picking an unmarked area can give you and your squad some extra breathing room to loot and gear up without interruptions. Lots of players prefer a louder start, but quietly setting up while your opponents chip away at their own numbers is just as valid.

The island north of Lavish Lair is ideal if you prefer a stealthier approach. Its size means there are several loot chests to be found scattered around the area, which should be enough for a duo or a trio to fill a loadout. Unfortunately, loot drops are random in all but a few rare cases, so there’s no way to guarantee you’ll get your favorite guns.

Unvaulted items from Fortnite Season OG have gone back into the vault, but you’ll still find different variants of the same weapon type, whether you like shotguns or sniper rifles.

The island also excels as a landing spot due to an unusual abundance of forage. Veteran players will already be familiar with harvesting Fortnite’s fruit and vegetables , and they’re a quick alternative to potions and bandages. The island has lots of Mushrooms, which raise your shields by 5 points each. It isn’t always easy to build shields in the early-game, but forage gives you the chance to protect yourself better. The island is also ideal for solo players.

6 Hazy Hillside

A great choice for anyone in a festive mood.

Located in the snowy biome to the south of Reckless Railways, Hazy Hillside brims with holiday spirit. It’s a medium-sized hamlet with several large buildings, all packed with loot. The buildings also have good verticality, creating some great sightlines for sniper rifles. It’s also fairly close to the center of the island, making it a popular landing spot. In summary, if you enjoy early-game firefights, then you won’t usually lack company at Hazy Hillside.

Assuming you emerge victorious, there are also good transport options to get your squad moving. There are usually cars available, and the Train runs just to the north through a tunnel that’s also home to Hope , one of Fortnite Chapter 5’s new NPCs . She’ll trade a Rift To Go and Grapple Blade for Gold Bars: both great items for traversal and combat.

5 The Marigold

Go on a less than leisurely cruise.

Docked at the mouth of the river past Pleasant Piazza is The Marigold : a mega-yacht belonging to the Society. This mysterious faction has taken over several locations, and their henchmen and leaders will frequently challenge you and your squad. Luckily, by visiting The Marigold, you can take something from them instead.

The Marigold has surprisingly formidable defenses, including automated turrets and patrolling henchmen, but if you’re quick and clever, you can take them out and claim a whole yacht’s worth of loot for yourself. The ship has several decks, including a luxurious upper deck fit for high society. Below decks lies a prize that’s always worth claiming: a locked vault.

To open the locked vault on the Marigold, you’ll need to defeat a henchman and claim a Yacht Keycard.

Unlike Fortnite’s other secret vaults , The Marigold’s vault isn’t sealed with puzzles. Once you open it, you’ll find a Rare Chest, which only drops Epic or Legendary-quality items and gear.

4 Grand Glacier Hotel

A brief stay in a high-class establishment.

You can carry on the theme of challenging and robbing the Society by visiting the Grand Glacier Hotel , a premier establishment on the edge of a scenic glacier that drops off into a freezing-cold lake. Aside from spectacular views, you’ll also find lots of chests and weapons as ground loot.

However, you’ll need every item you can find. The hotel is a magnet for squads who love early-game firefights and a mad scramble for loot. Adding to the pressure are The Society’s own henchmen and the NPC boss Montague, who won’t hesitate to try and kill anyone who gets in their way. It’s an essential challenge for players who love combat.

Montague will rapidly regenerate his shields, making it tough for you to take him down. However, once you do, you can claim Montague’s Enforcer AR and his Society Medallion. This passively regenerates your shields over time, but also marks your rough location for other players. You’ll want to use the same tactics you may have used to beat Fortnite’s Highcard boss .

3 Snooty Steppes

Challenge a familiar face to battle.

Snooty Steppes is essentially a one-stop shop with everything you might need to score a Victory Royale. It’s dense and packed with loot, has a locked vault, and even features another unique NPC boss: Family Guy’s very own Peter Griffin. Peter’s presence makes it a must-visit location for any fans of the adult animated series, and even non-fans will want to challenge him at least once.

Opinions differ about whether Fortnite has a crossover problem , but Peter’s presence is a net positive for players who love rare gear. Like Montague, Peter will rapidly regenerate his shields and is tough to kill, but will also chase you down while shouting references from the show.

He drops a Society Medallion and Peter Griffin’s Hammer Pump Shotgun , a Mythic quality Shotgun that deals incredible damage. As a nice bonus, you can use the Society Medallion to open the vault at Snooty Steppes to receive additional items.

2 Fencing Fields

Enjoy a stroll through fortnite’s finest orchards.

Fencing Fields is a rather picturesque vineyard and orchard, with lovely low-rise farm buildings, a fine dining establishment, and a fountain square. Naturally, it also belongs to The Society, and you’ll need to fight off their henchmen and Nisha, another NPC boss to really make the most of this location.

Nisha drops Nisha’s Striker AR : a Mythic quality Assault Rifle, and her Society Medallion.

You can grab plenty of loot from this location and explore the surrounding fields to collect Flowberries . These restore some shield hitpoints when consumed, but also grant you a temporary low-gravity effect that also removes fall damage. As a nice bonus, the fields all have additional loot chests you can crack open for even more loot. There are also ziplines heading south to the railway line.

1 Reckless Railways

The heart of fortnite’s new rail network.

Reckless Railways is home to Grand Station, the biggest station on the Fortnite island’s new railway line, and it’s one of the best places on the island to catch the Train. There’s also plenty of ground loot and chests inside the station itself, which tends to attract lots of players in every match. It’s the very definition of a hot zone, drawing in solo players and squads searching for battle throughout the game.

Reckless Railways is also home to Valeria, another Society NPC boss. Make sure to take her keycard and open her vault.

Grand Station might be the centerpiece of this location, but there are also surrounding buildings that provide extra loot and cover. Winning firefights in Reckless Railways requires you to use your surroundings, losing your enemies behind buildings and taking advantage of close quarters and verticality. Facing west, you’ll find a massive open town square that allows any player with a sniper rifle to score elimination after elimination.

It’s also a good idea to keep an eye out for temporary locations such as Loot Islands, which appear at random and contain one of Fortnite’s Capture Points, which drop extremely rare loot. These are just some of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 , and you’ll want to do your own exploring during your matches to find landing spots that best fit your playstyle.

Best spots to land on Fortnite Chapter 5 map

With all new spots on the map and new recognizable favorites like Tilted Towers, it's hard to figure out where the best landing spots are. However, there are a few spots that I have been landing in this Chapter that seem to work out the best:

I love this new location not just for its cool design but because it has plenty of loot and is one of the best spots to land if you're looking to ride the train. Since this is one of the bigger train stations, you will see the train chugging on through the center of the spot, allowing for easy access to it and a chance to claim the loot on it.

This is another spot that I land out 90% of the time. It's an easy drop for almost any bus position and has more than enough loot to snatch up. It also happens to be a spot where you can collect a medallion, which may make it a bit more dangerous but well worth it for the medallion effect. You also have easy access to nearby locations, including the Underground HQ, which usually has weapon cases galore.

If you aren't sure where to land, you can always land on a Hot Drop. Hot Drop spots are the locations on the map that appear in gold as the round starts. These locations may be more dangerous since more people are bound to land there, but there will also be drones you can shoot down with worthwhile loot inside. Plus, you can jump into the action a lot quicker.

If you're looking for a space spot to land away from dangerous situations, Winterburg is probably the spot for you. It is a little ice island away from all the other POIs, meaning fewer players are bound to drop there. This gives you time to loot the cabins around it and then take a zipline back onto the mainland when you're good and ready. It also has presents during the holiday season.

Here is your first look at the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map!

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground is almost here, but a few more hours stand between players and the latest season. Fortnite OG and the beloved Chapter 1 map have officially left in favor of a brand new map with a fresh set of locations to explore. While some players may miss Tilted Towers, let’s see what the Fortnite Chapter 5 map has in store.

Fortnite Chapter 5 map and locations revealed

The map above comes courtesy of leakers HYPEX, who revealed a high-resolution screenshot of the Chapter 5 map. Furthermore, iFireMonkey revealed the names of all POIs and landmarks.

Unfortunately, plotting all points of interest and landmarks without seeing a labeled map is challenging. Regardless, here is a complete list of all locations.

As fate would have it, the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 trailer leaked earlier. This allowed fans to see some of the POIs before the season drops on December 3. While it’s impossible to tell which location is which, the screenshots above give a decent idea.

Fortnite Chest Map: Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 1 Chest Spawn Locations

Grabbing loot off the ground can be effective, but it’s not the best way to get an advantage over opponents in Battle Royale. Here are all the Chest spawn locations in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 1.

When players land in a POI in Fortnite , it’s a race to find the best loot. You’re either trying to get a jump on enemies that landed near you and are looking for quick eliminations, or your teammates are loot goblins, and you don’t want them hogging all of the Rare or better weapons. Either way, knowing where to look for Chests is an important part of the Battle Royale experience.

Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 1

Looking over that map will reveal that there are several spots on the map just full of Chests looking to be opened. The most densely populated POI is Fencing Fields, which also houses a Medallion, making it the most enticing spot in Battle Royale. However, with all that going for it, it’s likely to see a lot of action, with players rotating over to get all the goods.

Reckless Railways is probably the best POI for players who aren’t looking to get into a fight right after dropping from the Battle Bus. It has plenty of Chests, as well as a Medallion, but what really takes it over the top is the mobility. There are plenty of cars in close proximity, and the train will also travel through the area.

All Vault Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

• Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 features hidden vaults containing high-tier loot.
• These vaults are scattered around the map near key locations like Lavish Lair, Rebel's Roost, Classy Courts, and Mount Olympus.
• To access the vaults, you must defeat NPC guards and claim their keycard.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Vault Locations

• Northeast of Rebel’s Roost : Starting from the north side of the map, if you are near the Rebel’s Roost, you can find a vault east of the landmark. This vault is located in a basement near the railroad .
• South of Lavish Lair : Another vault by the railway tracks is located south of Lavish Lair. Once you are south of Lavish Lair, you can find a small station where the vault is located.
• Northeast of Classy Courts : This vault is located at the top of the snowy mountains on the northeast corner of the map. The closest landmark to it is the Classy Courts.
• West of Mount Olympus Area : Among all vault locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, this one is the only one in the southern region. On the west side of the Mount Olympus area, specifically, Brawlers Battleground, find a land area surrounded by water to find this vault.

How to Open Vault in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

• First, locate the security cameras around the vault.
• Now, eliminate all the NPCs until you defeat the Commander NPC.
• Once it is defeated, you will get a vault Comms Keycard that you can use on the vault panel to unlock, and you’re done!

The second wave of weekly quests for Fortnite Chapter Five, season three is upon us, which means it’s time to farm that Battle Pass EXP.

Sometimes, you’re just casually getting through a Fortnite match when a quest completes itself involuntarily and you get 10,000 EXP just for having fun. But most of the time, Fortnite weekly quests take a bit of effort to complete, especially when they ask that you visit places you’ve never heard of before, or play in a way you normally wouldn’t. In this guide, you can find every quest for Week two of Fortnite Chapter Five, season three.

How to travel distance while infused with Nitro in Fortnite Chapter 5, season 3

To complete this quest, you must travel 400 meters while infused with Nitro. You can get Nitro by consuming Nitro Splash or breaking a Nitro Barrel in Fortnite .

• Nitro Splash is a consumable you can find in chests and as floor loot during this season. It’s a rare, blue consumable you can pick up. Each item you find turns into two Nitro Splash consumables.
• Nitro Barrels are orange cans spread all over the Fortnite map, mainly by the side of roads or in Service Stations. If you break them, they grant you Nitro, much like Slug barrels grant you shields when you break them.

Once you consume Nitro Splash or break a Nitro Barrel, you run faster with Nitro for a limited amount of time, which lets you travel distance while infused with Nitro.

How to damage players with pistols in Fortnite Chapter 5, season 3

The only pistol you can get during Fortnite Chapter Five, season three is the Ranger Pistol, which you can find on the floor or inside chests as a common, uncommon, rare, and even epic weapon. In the first season of Chapter Five, it was also available in Mythic rarity, but you could only get it from Peter. Once you’ve got the Ranger Pistol, make sure to use it to damage other players, not NPCs , to complete this quest.

How to recover health or gain shields in an Oasis Pool in Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3

To recover health or gain shields in an Oasis Pool , swim in one of the cyan-colored pools in the south of the Fortnite map until you recover 150 points of health or shields. There are only five of them and they can only be found near the wasteland area of the map. Here’s every location:

• Northeast of Sandy Steppes , right before the Nitrodrome.
• East of the Nitrodrome , just by the train tracks leading to Mount Olympus.
• Northeast of Brutal Beachhead , in the center of the oasis.
• Southwest of Mount Olympus, just as the oasis meets with the golden steppes of the Greek POI.
• West of Brawler’s Battleground , at the very south of the map.

How to drive or ride in Megalo Don’s Behemoth, The Machinist’s Lockjaw, The Ringmaster Scarr’s Lockjaw, or a War Bus in Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3

To complete this quest, steal one of the special vehicles from any of the bosses or the War Bus in Fortnite . Here’s where you can get each:

• Megalo Don ‘s Behemoth : Most of the time, Megalo Don spawns at Brutal Beachhead. However, he can sometimes patrol around the map in the Behemoth vehicle.
• The Machinist ‘s Lockjaw: Found inside a locked cage inside the Redline Rig.
• The Ringmaster Scarr ‘s Lockjaw: Found in a locked cage in the Nitrodrome.
• The War Bus : Always tails one of the cars above around the map.

Because locations can vary, I recommend you check the map as soon as you start riding the battle bus to check where each vehicle is in Fortnite . If the vehicle is caged , beat the boss to get the Medallion and bypass the security system. If the vehicle is in the wild, throw a Boogie Ball at them to prompt them to leave the car, then steal it.

How to mod a vehicle with a Cow Catcher or Spiked Bumper in Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3

To mod a vehicle with a Cow Catcher or Spiked Bumper in Fortnite , look for blue crates along the road or at Service Stations. These vehicle modifications affect your bumpers, so when you spot one, just run over it to break the box and add the mod to your vehicle. You can either do one of each or add the same mod twice to complete this quest.

How to damage opponents in vehicles in Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3

To damage an opponent in a vehicle in Fortnite Chapter Five, Season Three, aim at the enemies riding the vehicle through the windows. Remember, they need to be inside the vehicle, so you can’t cause it to explode nor prompt the opponent to exit the vehicle. Plus, damaging just the vehicle with Nitro Fists, or any other weapon for that matter, doesn’t directly damage the player.

Alternatively, since this isn’t specifically aimed at players, you can target the NPC opponents in the War Bus , which are always easier to hit due to the lack of protection.

How to repair vehicles with Service Stations or Repair Torches in Fortnite Chapter 5 season 3

Much like your character, vehicles have a limited health supply. If you keep crashing them or someone keeps hitting them with the Nitro Fists, they inevitably go ka-boom. That is, unless you use one of the Repair Torches or visit a Service Station to patch them up. Here’s a breakdown of both options so you can repair vehicles and complete this quest in Fortnite .

Get a Repair Torch

Repair Torches fix vehicles at short range. You can find them inside chests, as supply drone drops, and as floor loot. To use them, get off the vehicle, stand next to it, and hold the action button until the vehicle’s health bar is full.

Service Station locations

At Service Stations, you can fix your vehicles. There are currently 22 of them spread all over the map. Here’s every Service Station location in Fortnite :

• There’s one northeast of Lavish Lair, past the river that leads to Classy Courts.
• There are two southwest of Lavish Lair, right by the Underworld.
• There’s one northeast of Reckless Railways, near Grand Glacier.
• There are two southwest of Reckless Railways before you cross the river leading to Restored Reels.
• There’s one south of Restored Reels and north of the Nitrodrome.
• There’s one east of Pleasant Piazza before the bridge leading to the Underworld.
• There’s one southwest of Pleasant Piazza.
• There’s one in Sandy Steppes.
• There are three in between Sandy Steppes and the Nitrodrome.
• There is one on the east exit of the Nitrodrome.
• There’s one north of Mount Olympus.
• There are three on the outskirts of Redline Rig.

The Yacht was a landmark on the Apollo map of Fortnite: Battle Royale , added in Chapter 2: Season 2 . It was located northwest of Craggy Cliffs . It was a cargo ship.

Previously, it was a named location north-east of Steamy Stacks . It was a Luxurious Yacht owned by Midas until it was overtaken by Deadpool on April 3rd 2020 and eventually made into its destroyed-self in Chapter 2: Season 3 .

At the start of Chapter 2: Season 2 , The Yacht had many rooms, including Meowscles ' private room, a bar, a gym, a mini jacuzzi, a helipad, and a luxurious main hall containing a golden statue of Midas . It was another base of GHOST owned by Meowscles for Midas. It would appear in the Mountain Raid loading screen, depicting GHOST Agents going to war against Brutus in The Grotto .

On March 26th, 2020, The Yacht, and Meowscles, was transformed into a SHADOW Base.

After April 3rd 2020, it became Deadpool 's Yacht, and retained GHOST Henchmen. The Yacht contained many Deadpool related decorations. The Helipad's design included Deadpool's mask; the Midas statue was vandalized with another mask. A dance floor was added for a party, playing the Freestylin' Remix Music Pack. Finally, a Tacos signboard was placed on the top of the yacht indicating that Guaco's Tacos restaurant was the main sponsor of the party.

• POIs might be popular picks for players, and highly populated, but they are great to discover NPCs and chests.

Yet, that comes with the advantage of knowing that if players get surrounded or in trouble, they can follow the river to Underworld Dash away from Grim Gate. The location itself is brimming with Splash Barrels and Chests, providing plenty of loot and shields to starting teams.

Pea Bois HQ

A solo spot, great for vehicle upgrades.

A calmer spot due to the fact that it's a Landmark and not a POI, Pea Bois HQ makes one of the best landing spots in Fortnite for a few reasons. The most notable, is the fact that players can find all vehicle mods here .

Whilst it's a smaller area intended for solo players, the fact that people can come here and stack their vehicles with intense upgrades will surely give them the advantage they need to win, as Chapter 5 Season 3 relies heavily on the new vehicle mods that can turn a regular car into a four-wheeled death machine.

Lavish Lair

A bountiful mansion with many floors, vehicles, and loot.

Lavish Lair certainly deserves its name, as this location is rather stunning in appearance and size. Landing here is best when players have a team at their side, as it's a large location with many different rooms and floors, so a few teams might end up dropping to Lavish Lair for what it can offer them, making it a premium spot for combat and loot.

If players want a better chance at the Victory Royale in Fortnite, they're going to need to pick the best weapons of Chapter 5 Season 3.

Players will find all manners of floor loot and chests as they roam the large castle and even the gardens behind it. In case the loot isn't to their standard, or there are just too many teams, feel free to hijack one of the vehicles at the front of the castle and make a daring escape.

Popular and Intense Landing Spot with Loot Galore

Chapter 5 Season 3 introduced the apocalypse to the map, and with that, the Nitrodrome was forged. This location is essentially a coliseum forged with scrap, and inside, players will find an intense arena covered in traps. The Nitrodrome is a hot spot to land due to the abundance of loot, and the rewards earned from the center after a certain amount of time spent here.

Nitrodrome also houses a few goodies, like Ringmaster Scarr's Mythic Boom Bolt, and the keys to her vehicle, which is a must-have for those roaming the wasteland. The Nitrodrome can be extremely chaotic at the start of the map, so to those not looking for a fight, it might not be the spot for them.

Pleasant Piazza

A large estate, a quiet spot with map advantage.

Pleasant Piazza isn't the most exciting place in the world, and it seems to have missed the deadly sandstorm that ravished the south of the map. Pleasant Piazza doesn't have many teams landing at it, and the abundance of buildings with roofs with different heights makes it a great spot to control the POI, or loot up before heading somewhere else.

Pleasant Piazza is situated South of Grim Gate and North of Sandy Steppes, making it a really good starting spot, for players can loot up here in the quiet, and then head off to more dangerous areas as the zone closes in.

Li'l Dirty Dock

A cluster of open containers, between two pois.

Li'l Dirty Dock is another potentially quiet spot thanks to the fact that it is a Landmark. Players who head here will be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of potential loot, as plenty of items are found across the floor, with chests and splash canisters sitting in containers just waiting for someone to use them.

Fortnite: Every Mythic Weapon in Chapter 5 Season 3, Ranked

Great power awaits players of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, as these Mythic weapons can turn the tide in their favor to claim victory.

Players can also hire Ruckus, an NPC found at Li'l Dirty Dock, which can easily give teams and solo players the advantage they need with more firepower. Once looted up from Li'l Dirty Dock, players can head West for Redline Rig or East for Brawler's Battleground to take on fighters who survive the other POIs.

Classy Courts

Open tennis courts for a quiet start with little cover.

Classy Courts is a good start for players fresh out of the Battle Bus due to the fact that it's found in the North East of the map, away from most other POIs. Whilst players might not drop here for a fight, they can expect them occasionally, but that's where the structure of this POI works in their favor, as the lack of walls and inclusion of wire fences makes it easy to shoot other players without the worry of them hiding.

Classy Courts is also pretty useful for acquiring loot, as players can find Oscar here, who can be challenged for the one-of-a-kind Frenzy Auto Shotgun , a weapon that was vaulted at the start of Chapter 5 Season 3. Weapon aside, Classy Courts is a nice quiet spot that will get the ball rolling from the start of the game.

Cloistered Castle

An isolated castle in the middle of water.

If players are looking for a location away from the chaos, then Cloistered Castle could be for them. Found northeast of Lavish Lair, this area is pretty far from other areas, and the fact it has its own isolated island makes it a decent visit for those looking for loot without the trouble of engaging in a fight with other teams.

The use of water around the island makes for a decent getaway through swimming. If the loot isn't good enough here, then feel free to head further North to Piney Lane, or take what has been found and battle it out at a named POI.

These secret Fortnite quests grant quick and easy XP in Season 3

The latest Fortnite update brought a lot of new content. While the Metallica collaboration is the biggest part of it, Epic Games added some other stuff as well. This includes a couple of secret quests that you can complete to gain quick and easy XP in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

These secret quests will be available for a limited time, so make sure to complete them as soon as possible. Considering how easy the quests are, you can complete both of them in a single match and earn bonus Fortnite XP. If you’re interested, keep reading the article, as it explains how you can find and complete new quests.

Where to find secret quests in Fortnite

With the release of the v30.10 update, Fortnite added Metallica , a legendary heavy metal band. Members of the band were added to a new Fortnite Festival Pass, as well as the Item Shop, while the collaboration also affects other aspects of the game. Thanks to it, we can now visit a new Loot Island, which has a Metallica theme.

Interestingly, Epic added one of the new secret quests to this part of the Fortnite map . Once the Loot Island spawns, all you need to do is visit its lower part to complete a secret quest. As soon as you do this, you will see a popup that shows you visited the memorial, which will reward you with 10,000 XP.

For the second secret quest, you will have to listen to coastal rumors. In other words, you simply need to talk to three different NPCs and choose the “Coastal Rumors” dialog option. These are the characters you need to talk to and their locations:

• Riot at Slumberyard
• Chiara at Grand Glacier
• Brite Raider at a small outpost southeast of Brutal Beachhead
