Less than 60 days before the charter start date: No refunds will be available, as we are unlikely to rebook the yacht for the specified period on short notice.

From your sundeck Jacuzzi, you will also be in prime position to marvel at the sunset perform its nightly arabesques, veering vividly from vermillion to magenta in minutes.

One of Ibiza's liveliest and well-known coves, golden  Cala Bassa curves sweepingly into a pool of water tinted an unfathomable shade of turquoise. Tanned party-goers saunter down to its celebrated beach club for aperitifs on plumped-up daybeds, before hopping back on their superyacht to reach nearby San Antonio and shimmying till dawn.

In the north, opt for spine-tinglingly gorgeous Cala Portinatx for a glorious strip of unspoiled coastline. Watersports abound here, and hiking trail excursions providing vertiginous sea views of the glass-clear aquamarine shallows below. Seek refuge at  Aguas Blancas , lingering at its tranquil beach and soaking up its laid-back bohemian atmosphere. • Consider chartering a yacht on either side of the shoulder season in Ibiza if you would prefer fewer crowds. This is either April to May or September to October.
• In the Balearic Islands, anchoring directly above Posidonia (type of seagrass) preservation areas are not allowed, with fines issued if you break the rules. Protected anchorage zones in the Balearics include: Cabrera, Sa Dragonera, Cala Blava, Portopetro, Punta de L’Avançada and Cala d’Or
• You may find that whilst cruising in the Balearics some bays have color-coded buoys according to boat length. This is to help protect underwater flora and they must be obeyed.
• Most shops will close each day from 2 pm till 5 pm for an afternoon siesta.
• If you are interested in experiencing Ibiza nightlife, remember that most clubs do not open till at least midnight.
• Some coves in Ibiza (such as Aguas Blancas) have areas reserved for nudists.
• Whilst exploring onshore, it is handy to have cash on you, as a considerable number of small, independent businesses in the Balearics will not accept card payment. Luckily, there are plenty of cashpoints dotted around the marinas.

We strongly advise booking well in advance of your planned Ibiza yacht charter to ensure you get the perfect vessel for your selected dates. We recommend booking at least 3 months ahead to give your broker the time to organize a sublime bespoke yacht charter and book ahead for the nights you intend to spend in marinas. This is particularly pertinent to the Balearics, where fewer West Mediterranean yachts are in the region during peak season, and a Spanish charter license will need to be obtained.

For most Ibiza yacht charters to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This is payable once the contract has been signed.

You will have a greater variety of yachts to pick from if you decide to start your charter in Ibiza or Mallorca compared to mainland destinations. Whilst Barcelona certainly has a considerable array of yachts to choose from, it is not as extensive as the islands. 

We also strongly recommend that you book your yacht charter in Ibiza at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you leave it, you'll find you'll have less choice available.

There is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Ibiza so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.

But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests. 

Please consult your yacht charter broker for any other costs you may need to factor in.

May through till October is the best time to visit the sun-drenched shores of Ibiza. Temperatures can rise to a heady 31 degrees in July and August, with its waters reaching 26 degrees respectively.

Yachts will need to obtain a Spanish charter licence in order to cruise Ibizan waters, this is applicable if you are beginning or ending your charter in Spain.

¿QUE DEBEMOS SABER ANTES DE ALQUILAR UN SUPERYATE?

Contamos con una amplia selección de yates de grandes y pequeñas esloras hasta megayates. Lo más importante antes de alquilar un yate es saber cuántas personas irán a bordo y qué planes tenéis. A partir de ahí será mucho más fácil ajustar los metros de eslora así como las necesidades y preferencias que tengas. Aquí tienes tres cosas básicas que debes saber antes de disfrutar de tus vacaciones por las aguas de Ibiza y Formentera a bordo de uno de nuestros yates.

1. Contrato Todas nuestras embarcaciones vienen con un contrato en el que se especificarán todos los detalles del chárter. En el estarán incluidos todos los servicios que se llevarán a cabo con sus respectivos precios y también todo el equipamiento del barco.

Además, durante la reserva se entregará el contrato donde se especificarán todas vuestras necesidades, como por ejemplo, las comidas que deseas que prepare el cocinero. La finalidad de este contrato es conocer todas tus preferencias y preparar el barco según tus necesidades.

2 . Tripulación La tripulación es algo obligatorio en el alquiler de un yate y todas nuestras embarcaciones cuentan con tripulación profesional que conoce muy bien cómo manejar la embarcación y cómo navegar por las aguas de las Islas Baleares. Normalmente está compuesta por un patrón, uno o dos marineros y un cocinero. También es posible alquilar un yate solo con un patrón y un marinero. Todo esto depende de las dimensiones del barco.  

Sin embargo, si deseas alquilar un yate de menos de 12 metros y tienes la licencia de Patrón de embarcaciones de recreo (PER) tienes la opción de navegar sin patrón aunque, nosotros siempre recomendamos contar con un patrón profesional que conoce las islas y las mejores rutas. De esta manera, podrás disfrutar de tus vacaciones sin preocupaciones y sin la responsabilidad que conlleva estar a los mandos de la embarcación.

3.Extras Antes de elegir el yate debes tener en cuenta todos gastos que no están incluidos en el precio del alquiler del yate. Lo más importante será el amarre y el combustible. Algunos yates incluyen el amarre en el precio pero hay otros que no. En cuanto al combustible, será importante tener claro cuánto vas a navegar y saber aproximadamente cuanto gasto va a suponer.

Otros gastos extra serán el de la tripulación o el de la fianza en el caso del alquiler de la embarcación sin patrón. También hay que considerar el precio del alquiler de juguetes acuáticos y, por último de los packs confort. Estos packs suelen incluir toallas, sabanas, limpieza, zodiac,etc.

Traslados No tendrás que preocuparte sobre cómo ir del aeropuerto al puerto y viceversa, nosotros nos podemos encargar de la gestión de todos los desplazamientos. Tan sencillo como decirnos las fechas y horarios de llegada para gestionar los transfers.

Servicio de compra a bordo Para todas aquellas personas que hayan alquilado una o más semanas un yate, nosotros nos encargaremos de la gestión de la compra y de tenerla a bordo. De esta manera, cuando llegues al barco encontrarás todo lo que habías pedido y ya podrás empezar tus vacaciones sin preocuparte por la comida.

Reservar un amarre Nosotros nos pondremos en contacto con el puerto en el que desees reservar el amarre y nos encargaremos de todo para que no tengas que estar pendiente de ninguna llamada. Solo tendrás que relajarte y disfrutar de tus merecidas vacaciones.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

When the yacht is delivered to Ibiza, the crew's documentation is checked and a deposit is made by card. A joint inventory of the boat is made and notes are taken if necessary. The APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a deposit of 30-35% of the total charter price of the yacht, which covers fuel and any other provisions during the stay on the yacht. The captain is in charge of managing these expenses and will have a list of all expenses and tickets available to the client at any time. If during the stay on the yacht the funds run out a new APA fund will be requested. The remaining money will be returned at the end of the charter of the yacht in Ibiza.

Important Information

Cruise Ship Passengers:

If your cruise ship itinerary or departure times change within the cancellation policy of your vessel, we will do our best to assist you in finding other alternatives. However, in most cases we will not be able to issue any kind of refund. It is for this reason, that we strongly recommend you have travel insurance, as cruise ship schedules are known to change frequently.

Your Responsibilities:

Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip. 

You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.

It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.

It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and the vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time. 

Prices/Extra Costs:

All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply. 

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.

We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.

Travel Risk/Insurance:

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Merchant Fees:

Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.

Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:

Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value. 

E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees. You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations:

All cancellations forfeit the non-refundable deposit. All balance payments are due 2 months prior to departure. Failure to pay the remaining balance before this scheduled date will result in termination of the charter and forfeit of the non-refundable deposit. Once the balance payment has been made, no shows and client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the full ticket price.

It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.

Supplier Cancellations:

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.

All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.

Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.

You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.

Accountability/Misconduct:

All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based on feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's new season will be anything but smooth sailing.

That's because returning costars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are anything but friendly after their failed boatmance in E! News' exclusive first look at the Bravo series' fifth season.

Following Daisy, Gary and BDSY alum Colin MacRae 's messy love triangle , Daisy is still reeling from the complicated and dramatic fallout from last season.

"Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight," the newly single Chief Stew says in the trailer. "The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I'm coming back in more focused, full of energy and I'm f--king good at my job. And I'm taking back the reigns."

Despite her initial confidence about returning to the Parsifal III , Daisy adds, "It's gonna be a s--t show."

Cut to the Ireland native yelling at Gary, "Guess what? We have a f--king job to do and I'm not f--king carrying this season on my own, you f--king pr--k!"

But luckily for Daisy, the preview teases her quickly moving on with new Deckhand Keith Allen , who tells Gary, "Daisy would make a very good wife. No?"

As for Gary's response, he bursts out laughing at the crewmember's declaration.

However, Daisy feels the same about Keith and tells him, "You're the kind of person I've never met before."

And when it comes to this season's charter guests, the yachties have too much of a good time with one group on shore.

After a night out, Captain Glenn Shephard warns the team, "You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f--king rules, and now you're here getting upset."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is coming back for season 5 after Gary King’s sexual misconduct scandal.

Bravo announced on Monday, September 16, that the next season reunites Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary as they spend their charter season in Ibiza. The rest of the cast includes chef Cloyce Martin , chef engineer Davide Morosi , stews Diana Cruz , Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch .

The upcoming installment comes more than one year after Below Deck Sailing Yacht wrapped up its fourth season on Bravo in July 2023.

Gary’s future as a cast member has been up in the air, however, since a production assistant from the show accused him of making unwanted advances while filming season 4.

In a Rolling Stone exposé, which was published in October 2023, Samantha Suarez and other former employees, who asked to remain anonymous, accused Bravo of allegedly helping cover up Gary’s inappropriate behavior.

“It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times,” one of the accusers alleged. “I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable and exciting.”

Samantha recalled being asked to look after Gary when he allegedly got drunk. Once filming wrapped, Samantha remained with Gary in his hotel room before he tried to stop her from leaving by pressing himself against her. Samantha alleged that Gary refused to let her leave until she started to fight back.

According to Samantha, she alerted producers about the incident , who told Gary to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn’t filming as a way to keep him out of the hotel.

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone , saying, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim. “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down,” he replied to a fan via Instagram one month later.

In the aftermath, Gary didn’t appear at BravoCon in November 2023 despite initially being announced as a guest. He has since stated that he wasn’t ruling out a Below Deck Sailing Yacht return.

Gary replied to several Instagram users in December 2023 who reminded him there’s a “life after” Below Deck .

“I hope so, will have to see but will definitely be trying to stay on peoples tv screens ☺️,” Gary wrote back. The latter come from the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan in the spring-early summer period, and in the autumn-winter period, on the contrary, relatively warm, but also humid air masses prevail. In the northern part are Samarginskoe and Zevinskoe, and in the south Artyomovsk basalt plateaus. Within their limits, flat table -shaped watersheds are developed, where upland bogs are often formed in depressions. Large areas are covered with larch forests with peaty and peaty-gley overmoistened soils. The latter are formed on the areal and linear clay crusts of weathering.
