“ Haven feels very different from many other yachts; she has a practical and functional design that places great emphasis on outdoor living,” Sluijter said in a statement. “Thanks to an interplay of light and glazing, all interior spaces are well connected with the outdoors.”

Haven was built for an experienced owner who requested generous outdoor space, a family-oriented layout, and storage for water toys. With an impressive beam of 41 feet, the spacious yacht can comfortably accommodate all three requests. The contemporary interior was brought to life by RWD , with the British studio opting for natural materials, asymmetrical shapes, and striking artwork.

“Our team went on a journey with the owners and their family to create a distinct design vocabulary, with subtly crafted details that create a playful and timeless interior,” adds Mattia Mazzucchi, head of interiors at RWD . “Through the combination of curated pieces and custom designs, every inch of Haven will be beautiful, personal, and functional.”

In addition to launching Haven , Lürssen delivered the 400-foot Kismet to Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan on May 7. On a roll, indeed.

Lürssen's 82m superyacht Haven delivered

Lürssen 's 82-metre superyacht Project Cali is now officially known as Haven . The yacht has been handed over to her owner and is currently undertaking her maiden voyage down the Kiel Canal and onwards to Gibraltar, according to BOATPro .

She marks the third Lürssen delivery of the year, after 138.8-metre Luminance and 122-metre Kismet in February and May respectively.

Designed in-house by Lürssen's Jim Robert Sluijter, Haven is characterised by a straight bow and expansive deck spaces that place a "great emphasis on outdoor conviviality". Her sinuous concave patterns that run across her superstructure are to reflect the movement of waves when the sun is in the right position. 

Sluijter added: “The owner fell in love with the first outline of the project, and as a result, Haven has barely changed from the original sketch. Haven feels very different from many other yachts; she has a practical and functional design that places great emphasis on outdoor living. Thanks to an interplay of light and glazing, all interior spaces are well connected with the outdoors.”

Speaking to BOAT International at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show , Sluijter said the project had been designed for a family-orientated and active client. While full details are yet to be disclosed, her interiors have been designed by RWD , marking the second interior collaboration between the pair since 155-metre Al Said in 2008.

Mattia Mazzucchi, head of interiors at RWD, said: “Striking artworks draw the eye with their vibrancy around every corner. Bold, confident, fun, and energetic, where the joy of colour takes centre stage.”

Haven 's sundeck spans an impressive 30 metres, while her beach club benefits from fold-down platforms that create sea terraces port and starboard. Other highlights include an al fresco dining area with a barbecue, pizza oven and outdoor cinema. Key numbers include a draught of 3.5 metres and beam of 12.5 metres.

Managing director at Lürssen Peter Lürßen said: “Kees de Keizer and his team, who oversaw the build on behalf of the owner, and RWD were exceptional partners throughout the construction of Haven , and the relationships they forged with our employees are incredibly robust. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone involved in Haven ; the results testify to their upstanding communications and commitment to the project.”

According to BOATPro, Lürssen has seven yachts currently under construction. This includes the 142-metre Project Ali Baba, which was launched in December 2023.

First look at 102m Lurssen superyacht JASSJ as she launches in Germany

The highly anticipated day has arrived with spectators treated to the first look at the magnificent motor yacht JASSJ . Crafted by the renowned German shipyard Lürssen , this 102.4m (335ft) superyacht is the epitome of opulence and grandeur. With her hull recently unveiled at the Lürssen Rendsburg facility, JASSJ is on her way to the next stages of her outfitting.

The majestic superyacht JASSJ began her journey in March 2021, and the recent launch of her hull marks a significant milestone in the construction process. The JASSJ yacht hull launch has stirred great excitement within the yachting community, showcasing the sheer scale and ambition of this motor yacht from the globally renowned shipyard.

Featuring a robust steel hull paired with a lightweight aluminum superstructure, JASSJ is a displacement yacht that is both an engineering marvel and a work of art. The interior and exterior design, masterfully created by RWD, promise to be as luxurious as they are innovative. A collaboration that is also being endured on superyacht CALI , currently on schedule for a 2024 delivery.

Spanning a beam of 15m (49.2ft) and with a draft of 3.9m (12.79ft), JASSJ offers ample space for her guests to relax and fully immerse themselves in the superyacht lifestyle. With key features already emerging, the enticing Lurssen motor yacht holds promise to a spacious beach club and swim platform, ample exterior deck space for indulgent afternoons in the Mediterranean sun, a side-opening tender garage, and a touch-and-go helipad for the ultimate all-around superyacht experience. Up to 20 guests will be accommodated across 10 lavish cabins, ensuring privacy and comfort for all on board.

Other key features that look to be included in the specifications of this captivating yacht include an on-deck Jacuzzi, a dedicated top-of-the-range gym, an elevator for seamless connections to all decks, an aft deck swimming pool and an exterior bar.

As superyacht JASSJ advances to the outfitting stage, it is currently unclear whether she will be joining the global charter fleet , however, prospective charterers are already envisioning the unparalleled experiences that await them. With a delivery date anticipated in 2025, JASSJ is not merely a superyacht but a destination in herself.
