Founded in 1968

Sunseeker International is a British luxury motor  yacht  manufacturer. Its headquarters and main assembly facility is in  Poole Harbour , at Poole in  Dorset , England. The company has been making motor boats since 1969.  Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group has owned the company since 2013.

Back in 1969, in the English seaside town of Poole, Robert Braithwaite dreamt of building a new kind of boat.

Using revolutionary materials and technology, his early designs were tailored to a handful of customers, keen to embrace new found freedoms.

Sunseeker regularly updates its yacht collection with new yachts, or improved versions of already released yachts. Below is a description of one the yachts in the Sunseeker collection, their specifications and where they can be chartered.

Built in 2010 and powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 Series M94 engines with very low hours, yacht boasts an extensive specification with numerous upgrades as well as a fully Custom Master Suite option that transforms the ever-popular Sunseeker 30 Metre Yacht Owner's Suite into a space to rival her larger competitors. Beautifully maintained and finished in Black American Walnut with cream carpets and cream leather sofas/headlinings she is a stunning vessel that must be viewed to be appreciated. Fitted with Trac Digitial Fin Stabilisers, Satellite TV, , hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, gulf specification air conditioning, FLIR pan and tilt night vision camera and upgraded generators to twin 50kW to name but a few. 

2010 Sunseeker 30 Metre Yacht offers exemplary accommodation for 10 guests in 5 well-appointed staterooms and comprises of an enlarged custom main deck split level owners suite with luxurious sunken bathroom incorporating a spa style bath tub and walk in shower. On the Lower Deck there are two beautifully appointed double ensuite cabins aft, a further two ensuite twin cabins port and starboard in the mid section There is a accommodation for up to seven crew, with two crew quarters located bow and stern.

Sunseeker is the world’s leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts. Originally named Poole Power Boats, the company was founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969. From its manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of England, Sunseeker employs c.2,000 people and produces around 150 boats every year ranging from 38-161 feet with 98% being exported.

Working very closely with over 100 retail and service locations in 74 countries, service and product support is a key priority in maintaining customer satisfaction.

As a prominent business within the county and one of Dorset’s largest employers, Sunseeker continues its work with charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that resonates with its employees who have already raised donations approaching £100,000 during just three years. In addition, it continues its support of their annual Dorset Bike Ride which has raised over £1million since Sunseeker’s involvement began.

ANDREA FRABETTI - SUNSEEKER CEO

Andrea Frabetti joined Sunseeker as Chief Technical Officer in January 2019 before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer in June 2019.

With nearly 30 years of marine industry experience and having held various roles across key brands in the yachting world, Andrea Frabetti’s skills and passion for innovation have fed into Sunseeker’s new product development strategy which saw the range double between 2019 – 2021. His uncompromising eye for design and detail can be seen across copious projects throughout his career.

Having graduated from the University of Genova as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, Andrea Frabetti then went on to study for a Masters degree in Business Administration at the University of Bologna.

The marine industry is a way of life for Andrea, who enjoys spending time in and on the water whenever he can, especially with his family in Italy.

Sunseeker motor yacht Paloma of London sold

The 30 metre flybridge motor yacht Paloma of London , listed for sale by Nikita Gorchakov at iBoat Boutique in Moscow, has been sold in an in-house deal with Dmitry Osankin introducing the buyer.

Built by in GRP by British superyacht yard Sunseeker International , she was delivered in 2009 and was previously sold in 2014.  Cherry wood paneling is the defining theme in her luxurious interior, contrasted with gorgeous fabrics and fine leathers. Generous accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite and two twins. All have en suite bathrooms in fine marble and stone and one of the twins can convert into a double and the other into a study.

Her main saloon, with a richly decorated interior design, has a bar and spacious seating plus a large television screen and entertainment system acting as a divider from the dining area with formal seating for eight guests.

On deck, Paloma of London offers a multitude of relaxation and al fresco dining areas including a large aft deck cockpit with a table and chairs along with an awning, while the expansive flybridge offers a bar, barbecue, entertainment centre, dedicated dining area and a fixed Bimini top including a central electric folding awning

Twin MAN diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilizers for extra comfort at sea and in port.

She has been meticulously maintained by her second owner with zero tolerance for even the smallest scratch and was offered in turnkey condition.

_ Paloma of London  _was asking €3.9 million and will remain in the Mediterranean where she will be used privately by her new owner.
