Launched in 2012, motor yacht OCEAN’S SEVEN has been properly designed, properly built and properly proven to be a great world-class expedition yacht. Her Dutch pedigree through Vripack showcases robust expedition styling and elegant interior designs. The yacht underwent a refit in 2015 and completed her ten-year Lloyds survey in 2022, leaving her in excellent condition. OCEAN’S SEVEN boasts an impressive cruising history, navigating through Europe to Antarctica to the South Pacific and more.

The motor yacht’s interior layout keeps luxury and comfort for guests in mind. OCEAN’S SEVEN can accommodate 12 guests in five well-appointed staterooms. The full-beam master cabin on the main deck is equipped with a king-size bed, a spacious office and tons of light. Two VIPs and two twin cabins, each with an extra Pullman berth, complete the yacht’s selection of accommodations. The staterooms spotlight a carefully curated design style with vivid colors and high-quality linens. OCEAN’S SEVEN can host up to 10 crewmembers.

Kingship Yachts’ History

Roger’s father built water-jet powered catamarans that revolutionized the ferry service industry in Hong Kong, and the family owned several shipyards as Roger was growing up. His own personal foray into boat building began when he and his family decided to purchase a 56-foot Baglietto in 1982. Shortly after their transaction, the shipyard fell into bankruptcy. Roger purchased the company, finishing his yacht and joining with an Italian partner to run the company for the next eight years. He gained a lot of valuable experience, learning the importance of inspiration during his years at Baglietto. Over time, Roger became intrigued by the idea of pairing that kind of inspiration with the disciplined labor force available in Hong Kong. He sold the company in 1989 and set out to create an Asia-based yacht building company that could match the quality of European builders.

With the purchase of a small shipyard in Zhongshan, in the Pearl River Delta, Kingship Yachts opened its doors in 2003. Eschewing the cheap manufactures that abounded in China at the time, Roger shipped in almost all the major components for the first Kingship yacht to ensure they were of the best quality. He has spent the intervening years gathering talented workers from around the world. The initial small shipyard has expanded to a 60-acre ultra-modern facility with room to construct seven superyachts simultaneously. Although Kingship Yachts’ History is not long, it is illustrious. Kingship Yachts has produced an impressive fleet of luxurious superyachts over the past decade, and as they move into the future, Kingship Yachts is earning a solid reputation as a creator of exquisite luxury megayachts that are designed and engineered to perfection, involving only noted designers and architects as they consistently meet both universal MCA and Lloyd’s standards.

One of the most photographed vessels in South Florida, this beautiful 2005 78′ Marlow Explorer’s Portuguese forward deck and lapstrake hull set her apart from the crowd. Kingship Yachts

Kingship is the first builder in Asia to specialize in constructing superyachts of steel hull and aluminum, and the first in Asia to build luxury yachts in compliance with Lloyds Register and MCA. Kingship Marine was founded by Roger Liang, who came from a boat-building family and worked with shipyards Baglietto in Italy in the 1980s and Green Bay Marine in Singapore in the 1990s. Today Kingship has a fleet of superyachts that are sure to make heads turn in any port.

While at Baglietto, Roger had the chance to work with several of the world’s best in the yachting industry such as Giovanni Zuccon, Francesco Paszkowski and the late Jon Bannenberg, some of the most influential designers today. Such experience fueled his passion for both yachts and perfection, inspiring him to venture into construction of the highest quality superyachts.

Kingship is the first builder in Asia to specialize in constructing superyachts of steel hull and aluminum, and the first in Asia to build luxury yachts in compliance with Lloyds Register and MCA.

Kingship’s facility is located at ZhongShan port. This 60-acre facility has the ability to construct simultaneously up to seven megayachts and an on-site guesthouse with pool facilities to welcome and receive guests and visitors. Kingship’s shipyard is the first purpose-built shipyard in Asia to have installed an advanced syncro-lift system that can handle vessels up to 600 tons and with a lifting platform 40-meters-long and 18-meters-wide. This technology allows direct launching from the bay fitting-out hall into the water. Kingship’s facility is top of the line.

PARIS (AP) — Curious onlookers gathered on bridges as dozens of boats snaked along the Seine river on Monday in a rehearsal for the Paris Olympics’ unique opening ceremony next month.

A total of 55 boats made the journey from Pont d’Austerlitz, named after a French military victory in 1805, to Pont d’Iéna, a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower, the nation’s most striking and best known landmark.

Officials are confident that the near four-hour ceremony will run like clockwork on July 26.

“Six months ago we had like 10 minutes delay on the timing and today we are very close, almost to the second to our targets,” Thierry Reboul, the executive director for ceremonies said. “So it is very satisfying. We’ve respected an extremely precise level of timing.”

On the day of the eagerly-awaited event, around 200 Olympic delegations will join the parade on more than 80 boats. They will make the journey from east to west, along a six-kilometer (3.7-mile) route which has become a major talking point — for its audacity as a unique open-air event and for its exposure to potential danger.

Security concerns led French President Emmanuel Macron to say in mid-April that the ceremony could shift to Stade de France if the threat level was too high. But Reboul said Monday that authorities are preparing for the big day as originally planned, with no alternatives being prepared at this stage.

There will be a final rehearsal, involving the full armada of boats, before the opening ceremony — one which is expected to bring 100 world leaders to the city’s embankments, where more than 300,000 people will watch.

“We will give our heart and souls to make it a great success for the French people,” France’s Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra said Monday. “They deserve it.”

The rehearsal saw 10 police speedboats shadowing the convoy, as well as speedboats equipped with television cameras. There were armed police officers stationed at various points along the way. The boats crossed 16 bridges, passing by iconic landmarks such as the green-tinged Grand Palais — where fencing and Taekwondo events will be held.

On each bridge, a few dozen people watched attentively.

“Fifty-five? That’s a lot of boats,” said 49-year-old Rosa Gabriel. Taking a break between walking from the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral, she watched it from the Pont des Arts bridge — fondly known as Love Lock Bridge, with its thousands of personalized locks attached to the railings.

One tourist even mistook the scene for something else.

“Maybe they are making a movie,” said Driss El Kaoutari, a 42-year-old from Morocco who was on vacation in Paris with his daughter.

What people actually saw were empty vessels bobbing slowly by. But they will be full of life, color, sound and movement next month.

“You will have many delegation members on the boats with their uniforms and their flags,” Reboul said. “Around them there will be many other things, as you can imagine.”

The water itself has become a sensitive and thorny topic for the organizers and politicians heading into the July 26-Aug. 11 Paris Games . A whopping $1.5 billion investment has already been made to improve the Seine’s water quality, with Macron and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo both promising to take a dip .

This time, it was Oudéa-Castéra’s turn to give assurances about the river — where marathon swimmers and triathletes are set to compete during the Olympics.

She bristled a little when answering.

“Regarding the quality of the Seine’s water, we are confident. You shouldn’t ask us to be ready ahead of time,” Oudéa-Castéra said, adding that a new center for collecting waste will be opened next week.

Trump Takes His Hatred Of Sharks To Bizarre New Level In Wild Rally Rant

Two of Donald Trump ’s signature dislikes met head-on during a rally in Las Vegas on Sunday as the former president railed against both renewable energy and sharks in a wild rant.

Trump, who has frequently attacked electric vehicles, on Sunday complained that electric boats are so heavy they are prone to sinking ― but went off on several tangents as he spoke, including one about sharks.

Then, he wondered if it was better to be on a sinking electric boat or in the water with a shark.

“Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking, do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?” he asked.

Trump was clear on which he would choose.

“I’ll take electrocution every single time,” he said. “I’m not getting near the shark.”

Trump went off on a similar tangent last year.

Any risk of electrocution is not exclusive to electric boats. Many gas-powered watercraft have batteries to power appliances on board, leading to injuries and deaths from electric shock drowning ― a danger that has existed since well before electric-powered boats.

The Boat Owners Association of The United States says these incidents are “often the result of faulty wiring and equipment on boats or docks.”

However, Trump has frequently attacked most sources of renewable energy, including electric boats, electric cars and windmills .

He’s also not a fan of sharks.

Porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had an affair with Trump which the former president denies, told In Touch Weekly in 2011 that he’s “obsessed” with sharks.

“Terrified of sharks,” she said. “He was like, ‘I donate to all these charities and I would never donate to any charity that helps sharks. I hope all the sharks die.’”

Trump has ― indirectly ― confirmed Daniels’ claim.

“I’m not a big fan of sharks,” he said in 2020 . “I have people calling me up, ‘Sir, we have a fund to save the shark, it’s called Save The Shark.’ I say, ‘No, thank you, I have other things I can contribute to.’”
