Barnegat Light Yacht Club is a private club located in Harvey Cedars, New Jersey. We offer a variety of sailing and social activities for members of the club and surrounding community.
We are a member run club. Members volunteer to participate in various social and sailing committees throughout the summer.
YOUTH PROGRAM
Our Youth Program offers summer activities for children between the ages of 5 ad 18 including swimming, sailing and many fun social events.

Brant Beach Yacht Club
Brant Beach Yacht Club was founded in 1947 and is located across seven bay-front blocks on Long Beach Island, Brant Beach, New Jersey.
The mission of the club is threefold:
to promote yachting and foster athletic sports on the water
to promote social functions and camaraderie among the membership
to advance the general prosperity of Long Beach Island
At Brant Beach Yacht Club, we enjoy an active summer and year-round calendar of sailing events, programs, and social activities.
Some highlights of what you’ll find at BBYC are:
Sailing programs and events at an award-winning club
Regattas include local, regional, national, North American, and World Championships.
Programs for youth and adults that make for a memorable summer and lifelong friends.
Social events on a packed summer calendar and throughout the year – with something for everyone to enjoy.

From the first time we provided photo booth services for a client at Brant Beach Yacht Club, we knew this venue was a special place. The management and staff here are meticulous with every detail. They are friendly and always have a smile on their face. The views and location are amazing! The space that's provided for our photo booth is excellent and guests love the fact that they can enjoy taking pics in the booth all night in a spacious room right next to the main reception room while still enjoying the music and dancing only a few feet away. We highly recommend Brant Beach Yacht Club to all of our clients looking for a venue for their event.
This place seems to host the most rocking events- One can feel the dance floor move with the hopping atmosphere! Gorgeous Gorgeous Sunsets! Very laid back atmosphere- Great location to celebrate :)
This is a breath-taking view of the bay and a great location to have your event. I have photographed many events here from Bat Mitzvahs to weddings. Everytime the room looks different and unique to represent the different personalities of the people that are giving the party.

Surf City, New Jersey

Surf City has more full time residents and commercial establishments than any other Long Beach Island borough. It's development and contemporary make up have been strongly influenced by its location at one end of the causeway bridge. Everyone who visits LBI knows Surf City, whether you stay there or head north or south after crossing the bridge. It is also home to the Surf City Yacht Club .
Beach Badge Information
Badges are needed on the ocean and bay beaches for everyone older than 12. The season runs from mid June through early September. Beach badge fees:
seasonal - $35
weekly - $17, good from Saturday through Friday
Seniors 65 years young and over, no badge needed (proof of age IS required)
Other Beach Information.
The lifeguards are on duty from 10 AM to 5 PM, daily, through September 1, 2008.
The beach badge booth is open every day from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM - every day.
Beach Access
The ocean beach is accessible from all the side streets that end at the beach. Parking is available on most of these streets.
The bay beach is located at 15th Street/Barnegat Ave.
Public restrooms are at the Borough Hall (9th St and Long Beach Boulevard).
A flagged surf fishing area extends north from the 23rd Street jetty to the 24th Street lifeguard station.
A flagged surfing area is located from the south side of the 1st Street jetty to the South 2nd Street lifeguard station. Surfers must wear leashes.

The LBYC pool is 25 yards and heated year-round. Our race committee boat is named after our first commodore: Loynes.
