BLUSH Yacht Charter

BLUSH currently registered in the Cayman Islands is actively available for charter in several cruising destinations.

The luxury sailing yacht BLUSH, previously named HELIOS, was built by Perini Navi and delivered to her owner in 2007, she later underwent a refit in 2018.

The exterior of BLUSH is designed by Ron Holland Design.

The 149ft / 45.3m BLUSH has been constructed with a steel hull and is powered by CAT C32 with a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 13 knots.

Charter guest accommodation

BLUSH has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 charter guests in 4 suites.

The guest cabins comprise a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities located below the aft deck, a cabin with a double bed and 2 cabins with a king size bed and a pullman bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Your luxury charter on board sailing yacht BLUSH will be managed by the crew of 7 including the captain.

The crew will ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable charter experience with all of your needs catered for while on board.

The 7 crew have their own separate crew quarters located below forward allowing guests to enjoy increased levels of privacy.

CAPTAIN: PETER DERY (American) Peter’s love of the sea started an early age. At age 6 sailing in the local Lightning fleet, turned to a rather active junior sailor into a passionate professional. Doing his first SORC at age 13 he took to sailing larger vessels early. Gran Prix Yacht Racing as a career took Peter around the world sailing in such prestigious event as the Admiral’s Cup on the winning American team. Peter has cruised extensively including the Bahamas, the Mediterranean, the Pacific including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as every island in the Caribbean! Fishing, Diving, Treasure Hunting, Kiteboarding, and Sailing are true passions for Peter, he obviously loves everything to do with the water! Tobias Pfarr

CHEF: TOBIAS PFARR (German) Tobias is passionate about cooking and enjoy working with the freshest ingredients to prepare simple straight forward dishes that showcase the ingredients. He is well versed in a variety of cooking styles and cuisines. When called for I can create menus and/or adaptations of dishes to meet special diet needs and preferences of guests and crew. He likes to prepare his menus from scratch including making fresh breads and pastries daily, ice creams, and fresh pastas. Chef Tobias culinary skills include many cuisines including Mediterranean, Russian, Asian, Sushi/Japanese, Modern Mixed, Seafood, Healthy, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Kosher, Dairy Free and Low Sodium. He has worked on yachts such as 196’ M/Y DIAMONDS ARE FOREVEVER |and 108’ M/Y MOSKING.

Charlotte Morris

CHIEF STEWARDESS: CHARLOTTE MORRIS (British) Charlie grew up in Devon around the water and after completing her A-levels had a thirst for travel leading her to the superyacht industry. Charlie decided to continue a career in yachting to pair together her love of travelling and offering excellent service. After 5 years as a chief stewardess, Charlie brings a wealth of experience to Helios in all areas of service, safety and yachting! She is continually learning from new demands and intelligent thinkers as well as an ever-improving industry. Charlie is constantly developing interior teams to the standard of excellence that the industry demands. When not ensuring the highest standards are being met on board you will find Charlie roadtripping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, sailing, swimming, or hiking. She enjoys a variety of arts and crafts and loves exercising her creative side, which is why children love her! Charlie is a keen traveler and is forever seeking new experiences and interests to add to her extensive list.

Kelly Gibbs

As an American growing up in Costa Rica, Kelley learnt a great deal from the everyday challenges of multicultural diversity. Kelley is an adventurous, high-spirited girl who, if she could, would live under the sea with the fishes! Having helped her parents run the family diving business in Costa Rica, she comes with 9 years of teaching and 17 years of diving under her belt. Her adventures have taken her to a few of the most wondrous diving locations in the world, traveling and working as a Diving Instructor in Central America and the Caribbean. During the past six years she has worked in yachting as a Stewardess and a Chef, during the past six years, and aspires to continue her education in the diving and yachting industry! Onboard s/y Helios you will see Kelley bouncing around the interior where she will ensure that you enjoy your holiday to the fullest and go home with a most memorable experience. Kelley loves sharing her wealth of knowledge about the marine and terrestrial critters, and helping people become aware of their natural surroundings. In her spare time, Kelley enjoys chilling out at the beach with her toes dug deep in the sand, practicing yoga on the dock, collecting cool seashells and rocks to make jewelry with, designing bikinis, and watching anything on Animal Planet or The Discovery Channel.

Cate Gundlach

MATE: CATE GUNDLACH (American) Cate has 25 years of competitive sailing experience. She received formal training as a youth sailor out of Lauderdale Yacht Club. Cate was a member of the USNT (United States National Team) where she received coaching from Olympic and World champion coaches. This training helped to build a solid foundation in her sailing fundamentals which naturally evolved into a strong yachting career in both Motor and Sailing yachts. Cate holds a 200 Ton Masters license and Bachelor of Science in Pre Med as well as Hotel, Resort, and Spa Management. Her passion for yachting, adventure and hospitality are all blended in her enthusiastic approach to life. Cate has enjoyed a life at sea traveling throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, West and East Coast of the USA. Most recently, Cate has been a Captain/Mate aboard a number of high profile charter yachts including Sealyon and 80’ Hodgdon Liberty. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, live music, wakeboarding, international politics, sporting clays, road trips, camping, hiking, surfing and kiting.

Pierre Beltran

Pierre is 49% French and 51% Mexican. As a little boy Pierre already showed his interest in mechanics by taking things apart and trying to put them back together again. As he and his family vacationed in their yacht and camper van, Pierre developed necessary skills to maintain and fix anything that needed it. By 18 he was a dive instructor and started his studies in Industrial Engineering. He is a phenomenal source of technical knowledge of the wide range of equipment found on a sailing yacht and is impressively capable to work out solutions for even the most complex technical issues. Pierre holds a Y3 Yacht Engineering license and has worked on s/y Helios for thee years and onboard the same owner’s previous yacht before that. Always ready with a smile, if not a giggle, Pierre is a lively character. He enjoys interacting with guests and making them feel welcome and comfortable. Aside from yachting, Pierre loves to cook and then it’s all about the outdoors, with motorcycling, biking, SCUBA diving and jumping off a perfectly good airplane in mid-flight.

Christine Reid

SECOND STEWARDESS: CHRISTINE REID (Zimbabawe) Christine is in her third season onboard yachts, with a preference for sailing. She grew up in sunny Zimbabwe and most holidays were spent on the waters fishing either on the Zambezi River or the waters of the Indian Ocean. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of Western Australia and is a certified Personal Trainer. She decided to enter the yachting industry where she can combine an excitement for travel and adventure into a career. She is friendly, bubbly and always willing to help out. Hobbies: travelling, reading, running, swimming, cooking, fishing.

Blush is a custom sailing yacht launched in 2007 by Perini Navi, in Italy.

Credited with a combination of technical brilliance and first class design, Perini Navi has always been in a class of its own. In 1982, unable to find a yacht suited to his personal concepts and ideas, Fabio Perini designed and built the first prototype of what would prove to be the most successful series of large sailing yachts in the world.

The 45m/148ft luxury yacht BLUSH is lowering her weekly base rate from $150,000 to $125,000 on charters taking place in the Caribbean this winter.

Offering an excellent sailing performance and a luxurious, newly refitted interior, BLUSH is a winning charter combination made even more spectacular by her newly unveiled special offer.

Impressive deck spaces ensure charterers have an array of options for relaxing, dining and entertaining on their winter getaway, all while taking in glorious panoramas of the Caribbean cruising grounds.

Sure to be the social hub of any yacht charter is the sunken cockpit. Tables and sumptuous seating can serve any occasion, from an alfresco breakfast or dinner to morning coffee or sundowners. Incredibly spacious, there is room for the entire charter party to catch up together.  

The aft section of the sailing yacht features two sunning stations and there is even a secluded place to lounge on the foredeck. The flybridge, meanwhile, is equipped with a line-up of sun loungers.

To cool off in the refreshing Caribbean waters, guests can head to the submersible swim platform. A superb collection of water toys can also be accessed from here too, providing hours of on-the-water fun.  

Opportunities for winding down and socialising continue into the interior of superyacht BLUSH. After last year’s refit, the guest living areas now boast plush carpets and fabrics in cream and soft pastel hues, beautifully offsetting the rich mahogany wall panels and furniture.

A bar greets guests as they step inside via the main deck aft and, further forward, there is a seating area made up of two settees as well as an oblong dining table for more formal occasions.  

The styling on the Perini Navi yacht continues into the accommodation. Boasting a flexible layout, her master suite can be divided into two double cabins. There’s also a VIP cabin and two twin cabins, which can convert into two twin cabins. Up to 10 guests can sleep on board during a charter vacation.

Eddie Jordan’s Sunseeker motor yacht Blush sold

The 47.25 metre motor yacht Blush , famously owned by former F1 team owner and current Boat International columnist Eddie Jordan , has been sold by Camper & Nicholsons  with Alex Lees-Buckley acting for both buyer and seller.

Built in GRP by UK yard Sunseeker International to RINA class and MCA coded, Blush was delivered in 2014 as the first in the yard’s flagship 155 Yacht series. A streamlined, modern interior accommodates 10 guests in five cabins including a full-beam master suite on the main deck with a starboard fold-down balcony. There are a further two VIP suites on the main deck while below lie two twins convertible to doubles and all cabins have entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.

The large main saloon boasts comfortable seating, a bar, side balcony, formal dining area and an entertainment centre including a 55-inch Samsung television screen and a Bose Lifestyle surround sound stereo system. Meanwhile, the upper saloon features fold-down sea terraces on either side, a bar and an entertainment centre including another 55-inch Samsung television screen.

The extensive sun deck has sun pads aft and a spa pool forward, plus a bar and dining area under the shade of the radar arch. Blush is the first Sunseeker to offer a fully-fledged beach club offering easy access to the water for toys and tenders, along with sun loungers and a 32-inch Samsung television screen.

She has proved to be a very successful charter yacht. With a flexible deck layout and bars on all three decks, she is also considered to be one of the best party charter yachts  and has been regularly spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix and other major Mediterranean events.

Twin 2,950hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Blush  was asking £19.5 million.

The 4 guest cabins, in fact, have a particular charm, as each suite can be transformed into a variety of berth configurations, reaching, if desired, a maximum number of 12 guests divided into 4 or 5 cabins. Crew : the Blush crew is made up of Captain Spiros Aronis (originally from Corfu where he spent his childhood sailing on all types of boats and with over 15 years of experience in the super yacht sector yachting) and 6 other members including the excellent South African Chef Dylan de Klerk. Its food philosophy is local fusion from farm to table, satisfying every specific dietary need – simple or complex – and always guaranteeing excellence.

Saratov was home to both a Lutheran parish and a Roman Catholic parish which served the ethnic Germans living in this city.

The Lutheran parish in Saratov was officially organized in 1793, although Pastor Ahlbaum was active in the city before then.

The Pope established the Diocese of Tiraspol, headquartered in Saratov on 3 July 1848. During its existence, there were five bishops:

Ferdinand Helanus Kahn (1850-1864) Franz Xavier Zottmann  (1872-1888) Anton Johann Zerr  (1889-1902) Eduard von der Ropp (1902-1903) Joseph Aloysius Kessler  (1904-1930)

This diocese went inactive in 1930 with the resignation of Bishop Kessler and officially vacant in 1933 when he died. It was formally "surpressed" in 2002 when the new Diocese of St. Clement in Saratov was established.

The Catholic parishners of Saratov built a wooden church which was consecrated in 1805. This building was used until 1880 when a new brick building was erected. The architect was M. N. Grudistova, and the new building was consecrated to St. Clement (St. Klemens in German) when it was completed in 1881. Today the structure serves as a movie theatre called "Pioneer."

In the post-Soviet era, the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 2001 in Saratov. It is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria (ELCI). There is a chapel in Saratov, and the pastor serving there is Olav Panchu.

There were three frontier garrisons founded to protect merchant ships traveling on the Volga River: Saratov (1584), Samara (1586), and Tsaritsyn (1589). Over the next century, the settlements were rebuilt on first one side of the Volga and then the other following a series of natural disasters.  The 1670 peasant revolt led by Stepan Razin also thwarted development of these cities.

Saratov was the first point of arrival for the German colonists and the location of the Kontora (Office of Immigrant Oversite) following the establishment of the colonies in the 1760's. From its beginning as a provincial outpost, Saratov grew to become a prosperous city and served as the center of industry for the Volga German colonists.
