Net als alle sites over bootonderhoud. Dat zijn jachtschilders, scheepstimmerbedrijven (waar vind je nog een scheepstimmerman?) coatings- en straalbedrijven, maar ook specialisten op het gebied van dieselmotoren, met name marine diesels en elektromotoren. Deze houden zich bezig met alle soorten schroefassen en scheepsschroeven, zeg maar alles wat met de voortstuwing van een boot te maken heeft.

Op Nauticlink vindt u alle mogelijke bootonderdelen en bootaccessoires, zowel nieuw als tweedehands of gebruikt. Met daarbij alle watersportwinkels en online shopping en verkoop. Deze bootspullen variëren van bootschoenen, waterkaarten en zeilkleding tot lieren, scheepsverlichting, scheepsportretten, maritieme kunst, zeilposters, maritieme foto’s, posters, stickers voor bootnamen en watersport cadeaus.

Verder ook de eigen Nauticlink getijdenkalenders, getijdentabellen, getijdenklokken en getijden horloges, waarop u de waterstanden eb en vloed (hoogwater en laagwater) afleest. Voor wie een boot wil kopen is er een handige lijst met alle watersportsites met gebruikte boten en jachtmakelaars.

En natuurlijk ontbreken ook de taxateurs en scheepsexperts hier niet! Er zijn ook zeer leerzame home pages met ervaringen van bootkopers. Heb je eenmaal een boot, dan is het vinden van een ligplaats, zomerstalling of winterstalling snel geregeld via Nauticlink. En vergeet dan ook de bootverzekering niet in orde te maken. Er is een aparte lijst met scheepsverzekeraars en scheepsfinancieringen.

Behalve een boot kopen, kun je een boot (motorboot, kanaalboot of zeiljacht) ook huren bij een charterbedrijf.

Sommigen spellen ‘Nauticlink’ als ‘Nauticklink’, met een extra k. Fout dus. Huurboten vind je overal. Van IJsselmeer tot in Kroatië het Caribisch Gebied, Griekenland of Turkije. Voor een mooie vaarvakantie of zeilvakantie kun je natuurlijk ook gewoon meezeilen met anderen, of een reis op een klipper van de bruine vloot boeken.

Wie zeilvakanties zoekt zou ook kunnen denken aan flottielje zeilen met een groep. Wie het ruime sop kiest is gebaat bij ervaring. Die kun je stapsgewijs opdoen, van jongs af aan via zeilscholen en zeilkampen. Maar zeezeilen kun je ook leren via een zeezeilschool. Voor boten langer dan 15 meter heb je overigens een vaarbewijs nodig.

Liefhebbers van nautische kunst vinden op Nauticlink veel links naar maritieme schilderijen en posters. Nauticlink biedt verder veel informatie over vaargebieden op binnenwater, meren en rivieren.

Holterman reveals new 29m X-95 yacht model in collaboration with Bernd Weel Design

Dutch semi-custom yacht builder Holterman has revealed a new, 29-metre addition to its X-Treme Yachts range, known as the X-95. The model will bridge the gap between the semi-custom sub-24-metre Xtremes and the X-105.

The yacht carries the same DNA as the rest of the Xtreme line, including the 33-metre X-105 Lady Fleur and the X-54, X-65 and X-78 Sport and Fly. With an exterior by Bernard Weel Design , the X-95 has the sculptural lines of the X-105 which have been shared across the range. 

The designer explained the model is "about shadow and light, and how the surfaces reflect the light" and is informed by client feedback they have gathered from the Xtreme series over the years.

While the X-95 won’t feature the aft-deck tender stowage-cum-pool design of the X-105, it will have its own benchmark feature.

Designer and founder Bernd Weel of the eponymous studio said: “We have something that’s really clever in that aft area. We’re going to be able to store a six-metre tender in an enclosed garage, and that’s really cool – there’s some clever things happening there.”

Further highlights include an owner’s suite forward on the main deck that will lead out to a private owner terrace on the bow. The raised pilothouse design can be accessed via steps from the saloon – which will offer an abundance of space as it will be a full-beam saloon with large glass panels on each side.

Weel said. “One of the main focuses right from the start was to create a lot of exterior space for outdoor living, but at the same time maximising interior space for a full five-cabin layout – we also really wanted to design the yacht to be optimised for potential charter, so the integration of captain and crew has been paramount in the design.”

Meanwhile, an expansive sundeck can be outfitted to include a spa pool. Guest accommodation on the lower deck will comprise four spacious ensuite cabins.

The yacht will be built to Class rather than the recreational CE mark and is designed for cruising the Mediterranean and beyond. Range is predicted to be around 1,800 nautical miles at a mid-cruise of around 15 knots.

Holterman's CEO Robbert Holterman said: “We have a shipyard with a lot of experience, and we have a designer we have a lot of experience with, and together we wanted to create the perfect 29-metre, all-aluminium yacht for cruising and for charter.

He continued: "The X-95 is the big sister to the X-78 and the little sister to the X-105, but it needs to have it all, so we have included all the features of a superyacht in a 29-metre, fast displacement aluminium design. It really is the culmination of everything we have done and everything we have learnt over six decades of building exceptional yachts.”

Weel added: “[Holterman are] also very practical. So if I come up with a design element, they will tell me straightaway if it’s not going to work or if we need to do it a different way. We are always very quick in taking steps forward, and it gives me so much confidence that the X-95 will not only be a superbly considered holistic design but will also translate into a superbly built and finished yacht.”

“The Xtreme range may be very new—and the X-95 the newest of those—but Holterman is not,” CEO Robbert Holterman said in a statement . “The X-95 really is the culmination of everything we have done and everything we have learned over six decades of building exceptional yachts .”

Designed in collaboration with Dutch studio Bernd Weel , the widebody yacht features a sleek, all-aluminum exterior and a reliable, twin-shaft drivetrain that enables a top speed of 24 knots and a range of 1,800 nautical miles at 15 knots. It is also fitted with a modern exhaust treatment system that meets the latest IMO Tier III emission standards.

Onboard, a stunning raised pilothouse creates what Holterman describes as “acres” of exterior and interior living space. On the main deck, a huge salon leads to a forward owner’s suite with a luxurious private terrace. Below, the lower deck is outfitted with four generous guest cabins and large crew quarters.

The World’s Most Expensive Yachts—Including Some That Cost Billions

Though superyachts are already among the most costly consumer items available, the prices of the most expensive yachts in the world are still astounding. In recent decades, those with money to burn have settled on these floating palaces as an ideal locus for demonstrating their prosperity, and, as such, the global luxury yacht industry is undergoing a golden age. The world’s überwealthy think of their motor yachts as toys, and they’re constantly trying to outdo each other in scale, design, amenities, materials, and sheer profligacy.

Knowing this, what features does it take to own one of the most expensive yachts in existence? And how much do these opulent vessels actually cost? To that end, AD has compiled a list of the five priciest superyachts currently out on the water. As with many things connected to the very wealthy, details are shrouded in secrecy—often intentionally—to shield the assets from taxation or seizure, or to protect privacy.

Below, dive into the five reportedly most expensive yachts in the world.

5. Dubai ($400 million)

This 531-foot yacht is reportedly owned by United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai. Though it was originally planned for another Middle Eastern potentate, Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei, he suddenly voided the contract in 2001. With exteriors designed by Andrew Winch and interiors by Platinum Yachts, this German-built Blohm + Voss vessel features several Jacuzzis, a pool inlaid with handmade mosaic tiles that is reportedly large enough to hold 115 people, a circular staircase, a discotheque with an appropriately sized dance floor, squash courts, a movie theater, a dining room for 90 guests (the other 25 presumably have to eat in the pool?), a helipad, and a submarine.

4. Topaz ($527 million)

Resembling a stealth bomber, this 483-foot ship is reportedly owned by Russian fertilizer and coal oligarch Andrey Melnichenko. With exteriors by Tim Heywood Design Ltd. and interior designs by Terence Disdale Design, this German-built Lürssen Yacht features a 2,500-square-foot primary bedroom, six guest suites (with moveable walls so they can be transformed into four grand staterooms), glassware and tableware fashioned from French crystal, a helicopter hangar, a 30-foot speedboat tender, and three swimming pools, including one with a glass-bottom dangling menacingly above a disco.

3. Azzam ($600 million)

This 590-foot ship is currently thought to be the largest private yacht in the world and one of the fastest, with a top speed of 35 miles per hour. To achieve this immense scale and speed, it required a pair of gas turbines and two stratospherically potent diesel engines, rendering it very difficult to build. It is reportedly owned by a member of the royal family of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. With exteriors by Nauta Yacht and interiors by French decorator Cristophe Leoni, this yacht was also built by Lürssen in Germany. The vessel is set apart by its early 19th-century Empire-style veneered furniture, as well as its state-of-the-art security systems, including a fully bulletproof primary suite and a high-tech missile deterrence capabilities.

2. Eclipse ($1.5 billion)

In addition to being the second-costliest, this 533-footer is thought to be the world’s second-largest private yacht. Owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich , the ship was claimed to be located in Turkey and may be impounded as part of the United Kingdom’s sanctions against Russia. Designed by Terry Disdale and built by Blohm + Voss, it features two-dozen guest cabins, two swimming pools, two helipads, and multiple hot tubs. For privacy and security reasons, it hosts a missile detection system, bulletproof windows in the primary bedroom and on the bridge, an anti-paparazzi shield, and, when all of that fails, a mini-submarine that can take a few VIPs 164 feet under the ocean’s surface.

1. History Supreme ($4.8 billion)

History Supreme has never actually been seen in a major port, and rumors suggest that the yacht may not be real and instead just a publicity stunt. Reportedly owned by Malaysia’s richest man, Robert Kuok, and designed by Stuart Hughes in the UK, the yacht is only a paltry 100 feet long. Its worth is said to be derived from its lavish finishes, including a statue constructed from genuine Tyrannosaurus rex bones, a liquor bottle embedded with an 18.5-carat diamond, and a primary bedroom with one wall made from meteorite and another from a 24-karat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium. This is why people like Amazon founder Jeff Bezos work to keep their yachts out of the public eye. Though we are not including Jeff Bezos’s yacht, Koru (Maori for “coil”), in this list because it is a sailing yacht and thus excluded from the realm of these motor yachts, it created controversy in the Netherlands when its presence became known. Jeff Bezos’s abided the $500 million price tag of Oceanco, the Dutch custom yacht builder, to create the 417-foot megayacht. But when the company, at Bezos’s behest, requested that a local bridge be dismantled to make way for its gigantic mast on its journey from the shipyard, public sentiment turned against the cento-billionaire, and Oceano shelved its request. Maybe a port like Monaco would be more accommodating?

Also not on this list is the world’s largest private yacht, reportedly owned by Alisher Usmanov. Though size and cost typically scale in the world of superyachts, this is not always the case (see #1 in this list.) Also, Somnio, the 728-feet dream-monikered yacht liner that tops our list of the world’s largest private yachts , isn’t quite done being constructed. And it is not, like most of the largest superyachts, privately owned by one individual or family—it’s a kind of floating condo, with 39 eight-figure homes available to potential owners solely by invitation.

Roger Federer Just Rocked One of Rolex’s Coolest Sports Watches

Earlier this week, at the New York premiere of his new documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days , tennis icon and Rolex testimonee Roger Federer strapped on the Yacht-Master II ref. 226627—a watch so lightweight that I feared, upon first handling it in Geneva last year, that I might crush it, thus owing Rolex corporate headquarters a check for $14,050 (plus tax).

The ref. 226627 was not Rolex’s first titanium watch—that distinction belongs to the 50mm-wise Deepsea Challenge , which was seemingly designed for James Cameron to wear while plumbing the depths of the Atlantic for sunken ocean liners. The Yacht-Master II, on the other hand, is arguably more exciting: Measuring a more comfortable 42mm wide, it was first spotted on the wrist of skipper (and fellow Rolex testimonee) Sir Ben Aislney back in the fall of 2021. No longer a prototype and now a full production model, it’s crafted from Grade 5 RLX titanium and is available for purchase. ( Theoretically, at least. )

What makes this Submariner-esque watch different from, well, a Submariner ? The two are admittedly similar in design, with a few key differences: There’s the RXL titanium case, of course, but then there’s also the 42mm sizing (as opposed to 41mm on the Sub); a bidirectional timing bezel with a sand-blasted Cerachrom insert (instead of the Sub’s unidirectional dive bezel); the date window (which is only seen on Submariner Date models); and the matching, RLX titanium Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding clasp and Easylink comfort extension. (The Sub doesn’t have an available titanium bracelet.)

Other than that, both the Submariner Date and the Yacht-Master II are powered by Rolex’s automatic Calibre 3235 movement with 70 hours of power reserve, and both are made for aquatic use. The Sub, however, is a diver’s watch rated to 300m of water resistance; the Yacht-Master II, on the other hand, is made for sailing and is water resistant to 100m—still respectable, to be sure, but best kept to the deck of a cutting-edge racing craft.

Seeing the Yacht-Master II on Federer’s wrist is more fun than notable—it looks perfectly at home when paired with his dark suit at the photocall, though it's a distinctly sporty piece made to be used and abused. Being a Rolex testimonee, of course, Federer has been spotted in just about every notable Crown offering over the past few years, from the Le Mans Daytona to the Sky-Dweller in precious metals and more. (The man pulls off a dressy 1908 with black tie beautifully, but let’s be real—this is a brand famed for its sport watches, and we’re talking about one of the world’s most renowned athletes.) Having cycled through many of the brand’s most compelling offerings, the only remaining pertinent question is: How do we get Fed into a “Leopard” Daytona ?

6:22 AM PT -- According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops say they came out to a marina near Miami Beach -- where they responded to a fight on one of the boats. Upon arrival, cops say they encountered Travis Scott , who they say was arguing with occupants on one of the yachts there ... and the person who reported him told the officers to get him the hell out of there.

Cops say they started to escort Travis away from the boat -- at which point they claim he was yelling obscenities at the people aboard -- and once they got past the docks and back to the street area ... where Travis had a ride ready to go.

Cops say Travis told them if he got into the car he was "gonna catch a fade" -- and then they say he was driven away ... only to return 5 minutes later, with the cops posted up and seeing him attempt to head back to the boat. They say they intercepted him ... and claim TS became erratic and belligerent, at which point they arrested him. BTW, they say Travis reeked of booze during all this ... hence the disorderly intoxication charge he was booked on.

Sources close to Travis tell us he's already posted bond and been released, and they see the incident as a "minor charge." In terms of the actual incident, we're told he was just partying and that things got a little out of hand between Travis and the staff when he refused to leave ... but the situation never got violent.

And, it's evident Travis doesn't see his arrest as any big deal ... based on the fact he reposted his mugshot with some enhancements -- headphones and shades.

Travis Scott got arrested for being drunk in public out in Florida -- and his mug shot is a sobering one.

The rapper was taken into custody by cops at the Miami Beach Marina early Thursday morning and booked into the county jail for trespass and disorderly intoxication. He also had to pose for a booking photo on his way in and, as you see, he was not a happy camper.

Official details on what exactly went down aren't available yet ... but we're working on it.

Houston police launched an investigation into the Astroworld tragedy, but Travis was never criminally charged . He's also been arrested for inciting a riot in the past ... and he's been named as a suspect for alleged assaults too -- but those charges ultimately never stuck.

We reached out to Travis' camp ... so far no word back.
