The most exciting new yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023

The most exciting new yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023

The countdown to the Monaco Yacht Show has well and truly begun as shipyards ready their latest launches for the highlight of the superyachting show season. If you're heading to Port Hercule in September, be sure to look out for these fresh-out-of-the-yard yachts making their grand debut...

Builder: Bilgin Length: 80m

With a scarlet hull and “sleek and sexy profile,” according to CEO and founder of Unique Yacht Design Emrecan Özgün, Leona is colloquially referred to as “the Red Bullet”. Her extravagant beach club pool is worth checking out, flanked by Greek statues sitting on water outlets and rigged with overhead fibre optic lights to give the appearance of the night sky. Her sistership is Tatiana , who made her Monaco Yacht Show debut in 2021.

Builder: Golden Yachts Length: 77.7m

With a vertical bow and trapezium-shaped windows, O'Rea carves quite the contemporary profile compared to predecessors O’Pari and O’Ptasia . More than 250 finishes are claimed to have been used throughout her interior, which is the result of a collaboration between Massari and Vafiadis , including polished marble and precious stones. The yacht will also be home to a collection of contemporary artworks, curated by Vasilis Dragnis in collaboration with Anna Chatzinassiou.

Builder: Rossinavi Length: 65.7m

Developed entirely over Zoom, Alchemy features a signature Vitruvius hull designed by French-born, London-based Philippe Briand . The tri-deck superyacht was built to fulfil an owner's brief for large al fresco areas and a strong focus on wellness. The result is over 330 square metres of outdoor space and plenty of amenities, including a jacuzzi and numerous sunpads.

Builder: Amels Length: 60m

Entourage is the second in the series of Amels Limited Edition 60 models designed in collaboration with Espen Øino . While the first hull in the series, Come Together , features distinctive geometric windows, the design team customised Entourage with long strips of glazing that allow additional light into the interior. Another noteworthy design choice is the extended bridge deck and sun deck which, first requested by the owner, will now be implemented in all future builds.

Builder: Sanlorenzo Length: 56.7m

This Monaco debutante is the second hull in the shipyard’s 57Steel series, delivering double the volume of its smaller sibling the 52Steel. She offers 1,000GT across her five decks and her showpiece is a 110-square-metre beach area, created by opening hatches on three sides that, when unfolded, become small beaches on the water’s edge.

Builder: Admiral Length: 55m

Silverstar marks the second hull in Admiral 's S-Force Series, and boasts a unique interior designed by Giorgio Armani and his team – reflected in the refined ivory onyx, cornflower blue marble, and Venetian printed silk. Sharing the same values on al fresco living as its sistership 55-metre Geco , she’s equipped with an open beach club at the stern, a sundeck with a Jacuzzi, and a touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck forward.

Builder: Turquoise Yachts Length: 53m

Miami-based studio DeBasto Design created this yacht’s distinctive sky-blue exterior, marking a first-time collaboration with the Turkish shipyard. “With Jewels’ enormous [720GT] volume, my objective was to make the exterior less bulky and give a feeling of a forward dynamic movement, rather than a static feel,” said designer Luiz DeBasto. The yacht is crowned by a generous sundeck with a spa pool, sunpads, TV, day head, bar and “acres of space”, according to Turquoise.

Baglietto T52

Builder: Baglietto Length: 52m

The flagship of Baglietto's sporty T-Line series, the Italian yard is set to debut its first hybrid T52 model at this year's show, designed by Francesco Paszkowski . She has an impressive range of 7,600 nautical miles and can remain at anchor for up to 10 hours relying on battery power alone. The new yacht reinterprets the classic Baglietto design with a restyled stern and open beach club, spanning two decks and featuring a pool with a changeable-depth floor.

Builder: Columbus Yachts Length: 50m

While Anjelif ’s brassy exteriors are sure to draw the crowd this year, her colouring is far from her only stand-out feature. She also boasts several technical innovations, such as an onboard sanitisation system that incorporates cold plasma for the elimination of airborne viruses and bacteria. An impressive recreational highlight is the touch-and-go helipad on the bow, which can convert to an open-air cinema when not in use.

Eternal Spark

Builder: Bilgin Length: 50m

With entertainment at the core of her design, Eternal Spark can host more than 100 guests quayside across her four decks, with five separate bars and seven distinct social areas. Her Hot Lab interiors feature pinkish quartz and a “light, fresh and sunny” atmosphere – “comparable to a villa on the Côte d’Azur”. The yacht's sunken-level beach club is bound to impress with a sauna, ice fountain, day head and lounge with a wet bar.

Builder: Tankoa Yachts Length: 50m

Retaining the same classic Paszkowski profile as sisterships Kinda and Olokun , Grey sports an appropriately “whisper grey” hull alongside a “jet black” superstructure. She is best known for her larger-than-usual, glass-sided swimming pool which comes alongside a high-definition cinema screen as per the owner’s request. Flanked by sofa seating, the screen also features integrated speakers and a surround-sound system courtesy of British-French brand Focal & Naim.

Builder: Benetti Length: 49.9m

Formerly FB606 and now christened Alunya, the 49.9-metre steel and aluminium yacht is the sixth unit in Benetti ’s B.Now 50M series. She launched less than two months after her sistership Lady I and is fitted with Benetti’s signature ‘Oasis deck’ – where the outdoor living area offers 270-degree views from the stern of the vessel. Large sunpads and a glass-walled infinity pool complete the space.

Builder: ISA Yachts Length: 45m

This semi-custom model stands out with her strong, sporty profile designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design and turquoise and gold Luca Dini interiors. Designed to entertain large parties, UV II is fitted with an extra wide beach club, a custom bar on the sundeck and a €1,000,000 state-of-the-art sound system integrated by Videoworks.

Builder: Conrad Shipyard Length: 44.3m

Poland’s largest superyacht, Ace ’s distinctive “rolling wave” superstructure is a signature of British designer Reymond Langton . Her centrepiece is the 25-metre-long sundeck, made complete with a 2.5-metre cinema screen and recessed infinity pool (so as not to block the view). Fun fact: the pool’s micro-mosaic is courtesy of Nero Sicilia, made with glass recycled from old television and computer screens.

Builder: Sanlorenzo Length: 44m

The X-Space 's “extra private” design was first revealed in 2021, with one of her five decks dedicated entirely to the owner. Featuring an apartment, study, living room and large master cabin, the cabin leads directly onto a private terrace at the bow flanked by a 30-square-metre sunbed area and swimming pool. Another special feature – the yacht is “almost entirely made of glass”, with glass panes and large windows featured throughout and most portholes in cabins replaced with “glass walls”.

Builder: Tecnomar Length: 43.5m

This highly secretive project is expected to make its grand reveal at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Little is known about it so far.

Builder: Bilgin Yachts Length: 42m

Kaşif, which translates to "explorer" in Turkish, is the first vessel to emerge from its Turkish shipyard's new Antalya facility and was built for a repeat client of the shipyard. She is the ninth collaboration between Bilgin and Unique Yacht Design with interiors by Hot Lab. Preliminary imagery of her fully custom interiors shows curvy architectural lines, a soft-coral colour scheme and 70s-style, curved sofa seating.

White Island

Builder: Aegean Yacht Length: 39.2m

This 261GT, steel and aluminium ketch was developed entirely by the Bodrum-based yard, including the concept, layout, naval architecture, marine engineering, and both the exterior and interior design. White Island' s wide saloon windows allow for airy, bright interiors rarely seen in others of her category.

Builder: Pershing Length: 35.2m

The first hull in the Pershing's sporty GTX116 series was commissioned by a US-based owner who said he had spent “years” looking for the perfect yacht for cruising in Miami. Characterised by a streamlined profile that reflects the GTX116’s sporty capacities, the yacht borrows design cues from the Gran Turismo automotive imagery. Her 39-square-metre beach club is worth calling attention to – connected to the swim platform by an electro-hydraulic taffrail, it creates a waterfront lounge area.

Builder: Nautor Swan Length: 35m

The first Swan 108, named Fancy , is one of a handful of sailing yachts making their worldwide debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Built with a carbon hull and a deck made from epoxy Sprint technology, the model is hailed as the first in a new generation of Maxi Swans and plugs the gap between the Swan 98 and the Swan 120 flagship.

Builder: Cantiere delle Marche Length: 35m

Nuri’ s smaller sister Stellamar may have an aesthetic well-suited to Mediterranean cruising, but under the hood she is a souped-up, world-girdling explorer with an “invisible crane” for toys and tenders and an impressive 5,500-nautical-mile range. She is owned by an architect who helped shape the yacht’s nature-inspired, Francesco Paszkowski interiors – and no doubt advocated for the master cabin’s sauna and hammam.

Builder: Gulf Craft Length: 34.1m

The first unit in the UAE-based shipyard's Majesty 111 series, Sandbank , is set to make her European debut at the Monaco Yacht Show after she was presented to the world in Dubai earlier this year. With exterior and interior by Phathom – marking the studio's first on-the-water project – a highlight of the yacht’s design is its focus on natural light. Gulf Craft claims the Majesty 111 has up to 40 per cent more glazing than yachts of comparable size. This is particularly evident in the owner’s cabin, which sits below a glass-floored dip pool that sends cascades of light into the cabin below. The new model slots between the existing Majesty 100 and Majesty 120 models.

Builder: Arcadia Yachts Length: 29.3m

The first Arcadia A96 is fitted with “environmentally friendly” Waveless Stab40 stabiliser fins and solar panels that allow her to cruise between eight to nine hours in silent mode. Interiors are by Igor Lobanov , with a focus on eco-friendly, natural furnishings and a “multi-flexible” layout that makes full use of its 8.7-metre beam and 400 square metres of usable space.

Builder: Mazu Yachts Length: 28.5m

The Mazu 92DS marks the Turkish shipyard's first foray into steel construction and is the first in a new semi-displacement series which will soon be followed by a 112 DS and 132 DS model. “I think we’ve created something amazing,” said Mazu founder and designer Halit Yukay. “The interior volumes and full-height windows make you feel like you’re on a yacht that is at least 10 metres longer.” Exterior and interior styling are by Red Yacht Design .

Builder: Bolide Yachts Length: 24.9m

Described as a “hyper muscle yacht”, Bolide 8 0 is one of the fastest superyachts in the world – reported to make blistering speeds of around 73 knots during sea trials in mid-April. She’ll mark the first iteration in the Bolide project, made up of a limited fleet of nine models. Hull one is defined by her juxtaposing black and punchy orange palette, reflective of its sporty nature in both aesthetics and aerodynamic performance

Sunreef 80 Eco

Builder:   Sunreef Yachts Length: 23.8m

Custom-built for an experienced family of environmentally-minded yacht owners, Sunreef 80 Eco hails from Polish catamaran specialist Sunreef Yachts . She is the first in a new generation of eco-catamarans, and has been dubbed the “world’s most advanced electric motor yacht” – equipped with batteries that, according to the yard, are 30 per cent lighter than the average batteries used.

Builder: Bluegame Length: 22.7m

Solar-powered multihull BGM75 is the first of a new series of ‘BGM’ multihull yachts from Bluegame. While she may have the appearance of a monohull, she delivers on the benefits of a catamaran – increased stability, large volumes, and reduced fuel consumption. The futuristic yacht is also capable of generating 5kW of green energy thanks to 56 solar panels that can be installed on the deckhouse.

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is back for its 32nd edition, promising an unparalleled experience for yacht aficionados and lifestyle enthusiasts alike. Scheduled to run from September 27th to 30th, 2023, the event is renowned as the world's largest annual gathering of superyachts. This year, the show aims to be more than just a spectacle; it aspires to be an "ecosystem" of yachting, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and visitor engagement.

The "Seducation" Program: A Three-Year Odyssey

The 2023 event marks the culmination of the first cycle of the MYS's three-year "Seducation" program. Designed in collaboration with industry leaders, the initiative rests on four pillars: environmental innovation, design, yachting education, and visitor experience. The program aims to solidify the MYS's standing as the global benchmark for luxury yachting while offering an enriching and unforgettable experience for attendees.

Themed Exhibitions and Innovative Hubs

Since 2021, the MYS has organized its exhibition around various themes, including the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub and the Sustainability Hub. These specialized areas offer insights into the future of yachting, showcasing eco-friendly technologies and groundbreaking designs. The Adventure Area and the Dockside Area provide a more hands-on experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of yachting and its associated activities.

A Fleet Like No Other

This year, the show is set to feature an awe-inspiring fleet of 127 superyachts and megayachts, including eagerly awaited launches for 2023. These floating marvels represent the pinnacle of nautical engineering and luxury, offering prospective buyers and enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the latest the industry has to offer.

More Than Just Yachts

But it's not just about the boats. The MYS also serves as a platform for leading yachting companies to exhibit the latest lifestyle trends onboard these luxurious vessels. From state-of-the-art amenities to innovative interior designs, the show promises a comprehensive look at the yachting lifestyle.

Conferences and Expert Consultations

For those considering yacht ownership, the MYS offers daytime conferences featuring industry experts. These sessions provide invaluable insights into yacht acquisition and ownership, connecting attendees with qualified professionals who can help bring their yachting dreams to fruition.

A Commitment to Sustainability

The MYS is committed to promoting sustainable practices within the yachting industry. This commitment is evident in its focus on eco-responsible technologies and its efforts to address current societal challenges, including environmental conservation.

In summary, the Monaco Yacht Show 2023 is shaping up to be an event that transcends the traditional boat show model. By focusing on sustainability, innovation, and visitor engagement, it aims to offer a holistic experience that educates, inspires, and delights. Mark your calendars; this is one nautical event you won't want to miss.

CARINTHIA VII at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023

CARINTHIA VII at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023

Unveiling The Revamped Icon

Every year, the yachting elite gather in the gleaming bay of Monaco to witness the launch of world-class vessels. This year, however, promises to be different – all thanks to the newly refitted 97m masterpiece, CARINTHIA VII.

Lürssen and Fraser, two monoliths in luxury yachting, will proudly present this stunning vessel at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show. Originally built in 2002, CARINTHIA VII has undergone an extensive refit at Lürssen's state-of-the-art Hamburg facilities, bringing her back to the limelight.

The yacht's exterior now boasts redesigned decks with spacious lounging and living areas, exuding luxury at every corner. The added 12m/39' pool and adjacent fitness room will be a magnet for the show's attendees.

One of the pioneering mega yachts, CARINTHIA VII, was first christened as 'Project Faberge' during her initial build phase. The name wasn't an accident; like the intricate Fabergé eggs, this yacht was crafted with attention to detail and sophistication. Built entirely in steel, CARINTHIA VII stands as a testament to German engineering and craftsmanship. Her design, envisioned by multi-award-winning designer Tim Heywood, not only set the standard for future mega yachts but inspired several vessels that inherited her design DNA.

Interestingly, while CARINTHIA VII's exterior has graced many gazes, her interiors remain a mystery, shielded from the public eye. This year's presentation, therefore, provides an exciting opportunity for yachting enthusiasts to peek into the luxurious world she encompasses.

It is noteworthy that CARINTHIA VII is not only being presented post-refit but is also entering the charter market for the first time, represented by none other than Fraser. Mark Duncan, Fraser's Director of Business Development & Marketing, aptly captured the essence of what the yacht offers: "We suspect CARINTHIA VII is going to be as much a part of those after-charter dinner conversations as the unforgettable moments we know she is going to help create."

Indeed, chartering CARINTHIA VII isn't just about hiring a vessel—it's about living an experience. As Daniela de Marco, Fraser's Head of Charter Management, Europe, highlighted: "To be able to create all that for such a renowned yacht as CARINTHIA VII... is a privilege and a pleasure we can't wait to deliver on."

Peter Lürssen, Managing Partner of Lürssen, mirrored this sentiment: "She remains a very particular vessel and is a testament to the solidity of our German engineering and manufacture."

The Monaco Yacht Show has always been the quintessential platform for luxury yachts to make their mark. Yet, CARINTHIA VII is not just another luxury vessel; she embodies the history, evolution, and grandeur of yachting.

As the curtains lift this year, spectators will witness not just a yacht but a legend reborn.

If this glimpse into the world of CARINTHIA VII has left you craving more, subscribe to the NAVIS digital edition . Dive into in-depth articles, captivating visuals, and unravel the secrets of luxury yachting. Your voyage into the heart of luxury begins with a single click. Don't miss out!

Monaco Yacht Show

yacht messe monaco 2023

Created in 1991 by French entrepreneur Maurice Cohen, the MYS displays around one hundred unique and exceptional superyachts constructed by the world’s foremost shipbuilders. Along the docks where these prestigious vessels are moored, visitors will find a host of companies, shipbrokers, and other important yachting industry stakeholders.

The MYS, the Place to Sea

The Monaco Yacht Show is globally renowned for the exceptional quality and impressive size of its superyachts. Of the hundred or so on display every year, around forty are being unveiled for the first time in their worldwide debut. The average length of the vessels is 50 metres, with some mega yachts exceeding 100 metres. In recent years, the MYS has expanded its offering to include the ultra-high end markets intrinsically linked to the exclusive world of superyachting, featuring luxury goods, cars and motorcycles, helicopters, and private jet constructors.

The Show is now an iconic event, popular with private visitors who come to discover the incredible collection of superyachts available to purchase or charter, and to meet market experts in the festive and glamorous atmosphere of the Principality of Monaco.

Not to be missed...

At nightfall, the superyachts come alive in a different atmosphere, offering a spectacular illuminated display of a thousand lights.

Preparing for the latest edition of the iconic Monaco Yacht Show , some of the most impressive luxury yacht charters on the market are set to descend upon the French principality and make a statement for being one of the largest yachts in attendance.

Annually hosting around 600 exhibitors, Port Hercule comes to life as one of the biggest yachting events in the South of France brings the community together to celebrate some of the most magnificent motor yachts on the current market. Operating on a badge system, visitors to the show enjoy a tailor-made experience that is paired off nicely with the indulgent Sapphire VIP program.

However, like any yacht show, the main attraction is the yachts themselves, and this year there are some staggering charter yachts on display at the esteemed show. Ranging in the 90m+ sector, Lurssen, Feadship and Golden Yachts offer some real showstoppers that offer abundant inspiration for your next France yacht charter .

CARINTHIA VII

Indulging in a refit this year, Lurssen's luxury superyacht CARINTHIA VII is an impressive sight to behold with plenty of standout features and captivating designs from British designer Tim Heywood Design.

Offering an abundance of space and a multitude of key highlights such as a beauty salon, spa, elevator, underwater lights, beach club, and gym, there are a lot of reasons why this striking motor yacht would be an ideal partner for an incredible Mediterranean yacht charter .

Boasting an eight-cabin layout, this 97m (318ft) luxury charter yacht is the biggest charter attending the Monaco Yacht Show at the docks, so she is one not to be missed.

Lurssen superyacht PHOENIX 2 underway, surrounded by sea

Measuring up at 90m (295ft), luxury charter yacht P HOENIX 2  from Lurssen is a striking superyacht with collaborative input on the interiors from Andrew Winch Designs.

A hub for entertainment, PHOENIX 2 features a magical main salon complete with a chandelier and a grand piano, plus an indulgent cinema room, in addition to other key features like a 7.5m sun deck swimming pool, a beautiful winter garden dining area, and top-of-the-range spa facilities.

With a seven-cabin layout, PHOENIX 2 is spacious and opulent, providing all charter guests with an outstanding onboard experience.

Charter yacht SAVANNAH at anchor in a bay.

Feadship's charter favorite SAVANNAH ranks as the fourth largest luxury yacht charter attending Monaco this year and offers an indulgent six-cabin layout for up to 12 charter guests.

With a length of 84m (275ft), this luxury charter made her name as the world's first hybrid superyacht with an array of impressive features including an underwater lounge and multiple swimming pools.

An outstanding pedigree yacht that delivers on all fronts, SAVANNAH is a high-demand superyacht and definitely worth a close up inspection at the forthcoming yacht show.

Topped off with an on-deck Jacuzzi and Wi-Fi connectivity charter guests can be assured of amazing trips time after time.

Charter yacht KENSHO at anchor, surrounded by sea.

New in 2022, the striking blue hull of charter yacht KENSHO will also be making a splash at this year's Monaco Yacht Show. Built by Admiral Yachts and with a length of 75m (246ft), KENSHO is just as enticing on the inside as she is from the outside with a host of features prepared to deliver exceptional charter voyages around the world.

Offering outstanding highlights such as a vast beach club featuring a stunning glass-sided swimming pool and a spacious eight-cabin layout for up to 12 charter guests, there's a lot to see and do onboard KENSHO, and that's before you see her impressive collection of water toys.

Charter yacht AHPO at anchor, surrounded by sea

In addition to the five biggest charter yachts in the show, charter yacht AHPO will be at anchor out in the Monaco bay and availlable for select viewings via tender. Boasting a striking length of 115m (377.7ft), she is a force to be reckoned with and is fully equipped to provide the most captivating luxury yacht charter vacations.

Hosting an expansive beach club, a plethora of wellness facilities, a top-of-the-range gym, helideck, and an outstanding owner's duplex among other key highlights, there are a lot of reasons to choose AHPO as the ideal charter yacht year after year.

Previously breaking records as the largest yacht to attend the Monaco Yacht Show in a decade, this incredible motor yacht is one not to be missed.

Maybourne Riviera pool

Festival-goers looking for a last-minute getaway after the whirlwind that is Cannes Lions – where the days begin with sweltering treks up and down La Croisette, and end beer-soaked late nights outside the Gutter Bar — need look no further than Monaco.

Surrounded by the dramatic coastline of the South of France, the principality is known for its jet-set, luxurious vibe , but according to travel guru, Jack Ezon, the destination has something for everyone.

“Monaco is the perfect blend of elegant and fun,” said Ezon, the founder and managing partner of Embark Beyond, a lifestyle partnership specializing in bespoke travel experiences.

Monaco

“Monte Carlo is probably one of the most chic destinations in the world with incredible shopping, iconic hotels and beautiful vistas. What makes it so relevant though is the fabulous trendy, lifestyle restaurants, the fabulous night clubs and super cool beach clubs.”

WHERE TO STAY :

The Maybourne Riviera

Just outside Monaco, this chic, modern 69-room hotel, which is built into a cliff, opened in 2021 after the Qatari-owned Maybourne Group poured an estimated 100 million euros into the construction.

Situated in the French town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, the property’s minimalistic aesthetic draws guests to gaze out towards the yacht-speckled Mediterranean, where stunning panoramic views of the coastline from Italy to Monaco can be seen from nearly every window in the hotel.

Maybourne Riviera

Guests can lounge at the Maybourne’s infinity pool, which overlooks the Belle Epoque Villa La Vigie, where the late designer Karl Lagerfeld once lived, or head to the hotel’s beach club.

There are three restaurants at the property including Ceto, a Michelin-starred, seafood-inspired restaurant perched on the top floor of the hotel, giving jaw-dropping views of the coastline.

Monaco pool

Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo

Just steps from Monaco’s famed Place du Casino, the hotel was built in 1886 and has undergone a few facelifts, including a multimillion-dollar renovation by French designer Jacques Garcia in 2004.

The 125-room hotel is also located on the most dangerous bend on the F1 racetrack, giving visitors who stay during the race a thrill.

Those guests can also swim in the hotel’s pool, which was designed by Lagerfeld, as well as its Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant, Yoshi, and Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac, which earned two Michelin stars when it opened in 2023.

Le Meridien Beach Plaza

One of Monaco’s few beachfront hotels, the Meridien also is the only hotel in Monaco with a private, sandy beach — a treat for those who prefer sand to the pebble beaches found in the region.

The Fairmont-Monte Carlo

With stunning views of the sea and the Grand Prix road, the hotel was built in the 1970s over Monte Carlo’s railway station, and is just steps from the luxury shops of Monte Carlo’s Carré d’Or, or golden square.

Monaco

Other top picks :

Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage and the Monte Carlo Beach Hotel.

WHERE TO EAT, DRINK, DANCE AND MORE :

Hit up the new Amazonicó, a restaurant and club with a Latin American flare located at the top of the recently renovated Café de Paris, or grab lunch at the 155-year-old iconic café.

Another classic Monegasque hang-out is Jimmy’z, the famed club that’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, or dance the night away at Moana, an open-air summer cabaret.

For a great seaside meal, Ezon recommends Club la Vigie at the Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel. Other foodie spots include Blue Bay restaurant, and Pavyllon at the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

Boats

The travel guru also suggests checking out Monaco’s insanely glamorous casino and ending your trip with a relaxing spa day at the expansive Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, which overlooks the Mediterranean.

Monaco also offers many cultural attractions such as the 114-year-old Oceanography Museum, which is cleaved into the side of Monaco’s imposing cliff called “le rocher” or the rock.

The Palace of Monaco is also a must-see for those interested in getting a peek at the royal family’s digs.

Helicopter

TAKE A DAY TRIP:

The beauty of being based in Monaco is the ease of taking day trips around the Riviera.

“Monaco is really in the middle of so much with easy day trips to Cap Ferrat and Eze just 20 minutes away, or Nice and Cannes less than an hour away,” Ezon said.

If you’re looking to check out Saint Tropez, take a 45-minute helicopter ride for a “really next-level vibe,” Ezon said. Once there, go to the famed Nikki Beach for lunch and book a sun chair or check out the Nikki Beach pop-up in Cannes at the beachfront restaurant Lucia.

Ezon also suggested taking the 7-minute chopper ride to Nice to stay at the newly-renovated Anatara Plaza, which boasts panoramic views of the city and the sea.

“Choppers are super inexpensive and easy to hop on in the Riviera,” he offered.
