Los Angeles is an expansive city in Southern California, famous for being the epicenter of the nation’s entertainment industry. From the Hollywood sign hike to the Walk of Fame, there is a great deal to do in and around this iconic city, making Los Angeles an ideal destination for a bachelorette party or a girls’ getaway.

As of 2022, the metro area population of Los Angeles was over 12.4 million making it the second most populated city in the United States after New York. And as of 2019, there were over 24,000 restaurants in LA County!

It can be hard to decide what to do in such a big city with so many options. I was born in LA and have lived here on and off for much of my life, so from a local’s perspective, here’s my Los Angles bachelorette party ultimate guide to help you make the most of your girls’ getaway in the City of Angels.

Things to Do In Los Angeles For A Bachelorette Party

There is so much to do and see in Los Angeles! Here are 10 fun things to do in Los Angeles  for a bachelorette party or girls’ getaway!

1) Hollywood Sign Hike

You can’t visit Los Angeles without doing the iconic Hollywood sign hike! This hike is the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon with your girls outside in nature, taking in amazing views of the city. Recently I did a Private Hollywood Sign Hike  and it really made me appreciate how beautiful LA actually is.

Here are highlights from my hike which was about 3 hours long and a great workout. During the hike, our guide told us stories about the entertainment industry, Griffith Park, and how the Hollywood sign came to be what it is today.

2) Shopping on Rodeo Drive

No Los Angeles bachelorette party would be complete without a shopping day on Rodeo Drive. Made famous by Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman , Rodeo Drive is an upscale shopping street in Beverly Hills that is home to luxury boutiques and designer stores such as Channel, Prada, Jimmy Choo, and Gucci.

There are several parking lots on and near Rodeo Drive so you can just drive there, park, and spend the afternoon window shopping. This area also has a lot of great restaurants.

One of my favorite lunch spots is Il Pastaio on Canon Drive. This hot spot is a celebrity favorite. They don’t take reservations but they have excellent pasta, a great wine selection, outdoor seating, and the best people-watching, so it is well worth the wait.

3) Hollywood Walk of Fame + TCL Chinese Theater

One of Hollywood’s most iconic and memorable sites, the TCL Chinese Theatre (originally Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) opened in 1927 and represents the excess of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Tours are offered from 10:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Monday ($18 adults, $8 kids, $14 senior tickets).

While there, take a stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame (open to the public 24 hours a day), where hundreds of movie stars left their handprints and signatures along the sidewalk. The most notable names are located between the 6800 and 6900 block of Hollywood Boulevard (directly in front of the theater). My grandma, actress Debbie Reynolds , and my aunt, actress Carrie Fisher , both have stars there!

4) Visit The Getty Center + Getty Villa

The Getty Center is considered one of the most impressive architectural achievements in the US. It also contains some of the most impressive works of art in the world. You’ll find Renaissance paintings, 20th-century American photography, Baroque sculptures, historic manuscripts, and much more.

Visiting the Getty is a great way to spend an afternoon with your girls. It is open 10am – 5:30pm daily and admission is free. If you enjoy The Getty Center, visiting the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades is a must too. It is open 10am-5pm daily and admission is free.

5) Bike Ride Around Santa Monica & Venice Beach

You have to experience Santa Monica and Venice Beach while you’re in LA and a great way to do this is by bike. There are bike rental shops near the Santa Monica Pier. I suggest checking the pier out then renting bikes and riding down to Venice beach along the boardwalk.

If you’re new to LA the best way to explore by bike is to do a bike tour. I did the  Electric Bike Tour of Santa Monica & Venice  and I was surprised by how much we saw and learned and how fun it was! This three-hour tour is a great way to see the best of Santa Monica and Venice and learn some history about these bustling beach cities. Check out highlights from my electric bike tour!

6) Lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel

The Beverly Hills Hotel  is iconic, to say the least. This legendary spot oozes vintage glamour and modern luxury. Book a table at the Polo Lounge or the Cabana Cafe to enjoy a special girls’ lunch. Known as the epicenter of LA power dining, the Polo Lounge has been the favorite spot for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers.

The Beverly Hills Hotel  is also a perfect place to stay for a Los Angeles bachelorette party or a glamorous girls’ getaway weekend!

7) Shopping at The Grove + Historic Farmer’s Market

The Grove is a luxury shopping center and entertainment complex designed by Caruso that is located on parts of the historic Farmers Market. At The Grove, you’ll find a mix of retail, restaurants, and entertainment in a luxurious, open-air environment.

This is a great place to grab lunch, go shopping, see a movie or shop at the historic Farmer’s Market .

8) Griffith Observatory & Griffith Park

If you do the Hollywood Sign Hike  you will be exploring some of Griffith Park but Griffith Observatory is also worth a visit. Griffith Observatory sits on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park and offers incredible views of the Los Angeles Basin including Downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest.

Griffith Observatory is said to be “southern California’s gateway to the cosmos.” Visitors can look through telescopes, explore exhibits, and see live shows.

9) Pacific Palisades + Malibu Day Trip

If you like beach towns I suggest spending a day exploring Pacific Palisades and Malibu. Just ten minutes from Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades is an affluent residential neighborhood tucked between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

The Village in Pacific Palisades is a prisitne shopping area that is worth a visit. While there pop into Angelini for a good Italian lunch and wine with your girls.

Then head on to Malibu where you can stop and explore the Malibu Pier and have a craft cocktail at Malibu Farm Restaurant  while you watch the surfers at famed Surfrider Beach.

Next, you can head on to Malibu Country Mart . This upscale shopping center has an array of cute boutiques and designer shops as well as great restaurants (see my favorites below) and several playgrounds for kids.

10) Surf Lessons In Malibu

You can’t come to LA and not visit iconic Malibu. And if you’re taking the trip to Malibu why not make it an unforgettable experience and take a surf lesson at Surfrider Beach, one of the most iconic beaches in the world?

I’ve been teaching surfing for almost 20 years and I offer private surf lessons , year-round in Malibu and Santa Barbara. I’d love to take you and your girlfriends surfing when you’re in town.

We’ll meet near the Malibu pier where you’ll have a chance to experience a surf culture like no other, along with the scenic beauty of Malibu as we paddle out to the sparkling waves at First Point. Your lesson includes two hours of one-on-one tailored instruction, a surfboard rental, and of course lots of photos.  Book Your Lesson Today !

How To Get To Los Angeles

One of the best things about Los Angeles is that it is very accessible from everywhere in the United States and also from Europe. There are direct flights from all major hubs to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

From the airport, it is easy to get a cab or an Uber to wherever you are staying. Los Angeles is a great walking city but it is very spread out, so unless you plan to Uber everywhere, (which can get expensive), I recommend renting a car.

Best Time Of Year To Visit Los Angeles?

Los Angeles’s weather is awesome year-round and it arguably has the most pleasant weather in the nation. So pretty much any time of year is a great time to have a Los Angeles bachelorette party!

But if you’d like to enjoy the most fun in the sun I would suggest avoiding December, January, and February which are usually our coldest months here. Although the weather is still in the high 60s during these months, there are far fewer tourists, and hotels are much cheaper, so it depends on what you’re after.

June is also hit or miss. We often experience “June gloom” for most of June. June Gloom is a California term for a weather pattern that results in cloudy, overcast skies with cool temperatures. By the end of June, the weather usually starts to get sunny and warm again.

The cost of renting a boat for the day on average ranges from $200 to $1200. The cost to rent a boat varies depending on the size of the boat and the length of time that you will be using the boat.

How does the boat insurance work?

Boat insurance typically covers loss caused by things such as fire, sinking, storms, and collisions. The extent of the coverage varies depending on the policy.

Do I need my own insurance to rent a boat?

You do not need boat insurance when renting with Boatsetter. Coverage is provided under the Peer-to-Peer Boat Rental Policy, which is underwritten by GEICO Marine Insurance Company. The policy was written from the ground up as a stand-alone recreational boat rental insurance policy covering the period of time that the boat is being rented and is available for all non-commercially insured boats.

Does Boatsetter screen renters?

Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.

Planning Your Trip

When planning a bachelorette party in Los Angeles, it's important to consider a few key factors to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip. Here are some things to keep in mind:

Los Angeles has a Mediterranean climate, which means mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. The average temperature in October is around 70°F (21°C), making it a great time to visit. However, it's always a good idea to check the forecast before you go and pack accordingly. Bring layers, as it can get chilly at night.

Los Angeles is notorious for its traffic, so plan accordingly. Avoid rush hour if possible, and consider using public transportation or rideshare services to get around. Keep in mind that parking can be difficult and expensive in some areas, so plan ahead if you're renting a car.

Flight Information

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the main airport serving the city, with flights from all over the world. Other airports in the area include Burbank Bob Hope Airport (BUR) and Long Beach Airport (LGB). Keep in mind that traffic to and from the airport can be heavy, so plan accordingly.

Table of contents.

Los Angeles is among the top spots in the country to celebrate an exciting milestone, such as a bachelorette or birthday party, for a good reason—there is so much to do, so much to see, and so much good food to eat. Clothing Choices & Guidance

Celebrating a huge milestone in your life affords you the freedom to choose not only your activities but also what you’re wearing during them! Southern California is known for having fabulous year-round weather, so it is easy to ensure that you constantly look cute without bundling up too much. That said, nights tend to cool down, especially around the Malibu beaches. Light sweaters generally do the trick.

Bring a few dressy-casual options for classy dinners and cute dresses or outfits for the perfect photo at picturesque brunches and activities. Flip-flops are excellent for beach days and ocean activities; be sure to bring swimsuits and a rash guard if necessary. For hikes and outdoor activities, bring close-toed tennis shoes and matching activewear. If exploring some of the nightlife Los Angeles offers is on the roster, one cannot go wrong with party or cocktail dresses for upscale bars and clubs, of which there are many!

Consider the Activities

There are some activities, especially outdoor activities, where it is essential to wear specific clothing. For these activities, bring jackets, sunscreen, and lots of water. At the very least, close-toed tennis shoes are necessary for hikes of all difficulty levels. No flip-flops or heels! Water should either be purchased or brought while engaging in outdoor activities.

Swim suits are a must for surfing, paddle boarding, and boating, with rash guards or wetsuits being optional and often available at the activity. Sunscreen cannot be overstated enough, as the UV rays are intense around Malibu, even on overcast days. Check the dress code before heading to any upscale restaurants or clubs. Jeans are welcome at most casual spots but are prohibited at specific locations.

Coordinate Outfits Ahead of Time

One of the best things to do to ensure that you and your guests are on the same page with all the clothing necessary for each activity is to coordinate with them ahead of time while packing. Ensure they bring the proper footwear for all activities and look at the weather forecast during the packing process to pack accordingly. This will make planning and packing easier, avoid surprises, and ensure great pictures at every location! Perhaps a color-coordinated outing or special T-shirts to delineate the occasion is in order!

Prepare a Bachelorette Emergency Kit

Oh no! You’re in town for a major celebration, and you’re not sure if you are prepared for whatever may come your way. Maybe you’re worried about a wardrobe malfunction or keeping a nasty hangover at bay. Perhaps you haven’t been to the beach in a while and don’t know what you should bring. What about going to the club? There are a couple of essentials that are necessary for a bachelorette party. Here are a few things to remember when preparing to party, whether it be a low-key outdoorsy event or a wild drink-filled extravaganza!

Bachelorette Emergency Kit

For nights out:

  • Double-sided fashion tape such as Hollywood Fashion Secrets Fashion Tape to fix outfits on the go.
  • Keep a small super glue tube nearby for broken heels.
  • Liquid IV to stave off a nasty hangover after a night of drinking.
  • Extra phone charger to ensure enough charge to take great pictures and to get a ride.
  • Aspirin. ‘Nuff said.

For outdoor events:

  • Sunscreen for any outdoor event.
  • Extra jacket + change of clothes, if applicable, for beach days. The beaches around LA can be chilly in the evenings!
  • Towels, blankets, large umbrellas, and maybe even a large tent if the beach is a destination for a long time.
  • Yummy snacks to keep your energy up.
  • Electrolyte water or Gatorade to ensure maximum hydration when sweating. For dinner and drinks:
  • Lactaid pills for our charcuterie-loving lactose-intolerant girlies.
  • A sweater for outdoor spaces, as it gets chilly when night falls.
  • Bachelorette or birthday sashes to ensure the waiter knows what they’re dealing with! Maybe you’ll even get a free drink or dessert!

How to Get Around LA

Getting around Los Angeles and Malibu is vastly different for those who live locally as opposed to those visiting from out of town. Los Angeles is a jam-packed city full of great music, events, bars, and restaurants, so the traffic situation is definitely as bad as you’ve heard. Plan to leave early to make it to scheduled events on time, taking traffic very much into consideration. Getting rides through ride-share apps should be very easy in LA and surrounding areas, especially in the evenings.

Malibu can be a little bit more difficult to travel around in. About 35 miles away from Los Angeles, it can take some time to get to your beachside destination. Once you are in Malibu, some areas will take significant time before a ride arrives to pick your party up when using a ride-share app. Lyft and Uber sometimes allow scheduling rides, which may help get a timely lift. The best way to get around without using these apps would be to book a personal driver or chauffeur for a few hours. There are a few apps, such as Dryver and Blacklane, that will match you with available vehicles, and there are several professional chauffeur businesses to contact to find the perfect driver and vehicle for your party. To simplify things and cut down on costs, choosing a DD and renting a large car for smaller parties is a good option as well.

If using a ride-share app or taxi service is best for your night out, deciding who is paying for and booking the Uber or Lyft ahead of time is important. One of the ways you can do this is to select a party member to secure all of the trips and pay this person back through Venmo or Zelle after the night is over, or maybe pay for their food and drinks for the night. Another option would be to have several party members take turns in a preselected order to book the rides.

LA County Photo Spots

Los Angeles and Malibu are known for having numerous fabulous photo-ops. Malibu has many beaches, ocean views, chill vibes, and natural wonders. At the same time, LA is interesting and eclectic, with lots of fun bars and restaurants, iconic streets and shopping, and great places to go with beautiful backgrounds and recognizable views.

The Venice Sign and the Venice Canals are quite close in the Venice Beach area. There are so many places to take great pictures all over the artsy and eccentric beachside town, especially where the sign stands high over the street at the entrance to Venice and the beautiful bridges and gondolas around the canals.

Colette Miller’s Pink Wings on Melrose Avenue, where there are many great pictures to be taken with this iconic street art, the pink wings being the most famous.

Photo Spots in Malibu

Point Dume is a beautiful state beach with a fairly easy hike, and a wonderful ocean overlook as a reward for reaching the end.

El Matador State Beach , with awesome sunsets each night and proud rock formations reaching out into the water. This is one of the best beaches for pictures on the sand.

Solstice Canyon , with a mild hike to get to picturesque waterfalls and cool ruins of an old hunting lodge that a wildfire burned down long ago.

The Malibu Pier, with great restaurants such as Malibu Farm (a great photo-op in and of itself), is a great place to grab some pictures with the ocean in the background. Something about a pier always captures the perfect beachy vibe.

Iconic Coastal Restaurant Instragramable Moments: Many classy restaurants along Pacific Coast Highway, such as Geoffrey’s, Nobu, and The Terrace at Carbon Beach Club, would be ideal places to stop for pretty cocktails, great views, and even better pictures.

Los Angeles Bachelorette Party exploring Venice Beach

Plan a Los Angeles bachelorette party itinerary with activities that let you get to know the city—from Santa Monica to Hollywood to Beverly Hills—with our three-day trip to get in a little of it all.

Morning: Start your trip to LA with a favorite breakfast spot: Eggslut . Head to the Venice Beach location, since you'll be spending your day in this area, to dine on tasty breakfast sandwiches (try the Fairfax with eggs, chive, cheddar, onions, and sriracha mayo on brioche) and cold brew coffee. The head to Boneshaker where you can rent an electric bike for the day to get your exploring started.

Afternoon: Ride your bikes along the Venice Boardwalk, where you can take in the famous skate park, Muscle Beach, and all the eccentricities available at the stores along the way. You can also stop for a bite or drink at many of the cafes. The boardwalk will take your right to Santa Monica beach if you're up for the ride. Park your bikes and find a spot for sunbathing on the shore—or head over the iconic Santa Monica Pier where you can find other bars and restaurants, as well as the pier's rides and attractions that will let the kid come out in you.

Evening: Don't worry about changing for your night out! Instead, stay in Santa Monica and head to The Bungalow where you'll find a Baja-lifestyle-inspired spot with a bar, outdoor beachside dining, and a back garden to drink the night away in. First, start with dinner, which ranges from trailer nachos and ceviche to burgers, tacos, and salads. Then spend the rest of the night enjoying the bar out in the open breeze, and cozying by the fireplaces if you need to warm up a bit.

Morning: For brunch today, head to Las Palmas for a rooftop spot with great fare. Choose from dishes like avocado toast, belgian waffles, and breakfast burritos. You'll also find a frozen cocktail menu, beer and cider, and wine. From here, you're about a mile away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame if you want to go find our favorite celeb's star. Or you can head to Rodeo Drive (about a 20 minute drive) to do some shopping—Pretty Woman style.

Afternoon: It's worth the drive—and the traffic—along the Pacific Coast Highway to see a bit of Malibu while you're out this way. For starters, make your way to Rosenthal , where you'll find a fantastic wine bar and patio on the gorgeous vineyard estate. Enjoy a tasting of some of California's best. On the way home, stop at iconic Malibu Seafood for gorgeous views and fresh seafood bites, before taking a quick hike in Escondido Canyon Park for a bit of nature and gorgeous scenery.

Evening: Tonight, hit the town. First, start with happy hour at Mama Shelter's rooftop, where you'll find signature cocktails and a live DJ. Though you won't want the fun to end here! Next, make your way to Delilah's . A celebrity-favorite, this chic spot, dripping in chandeliers, offers tasty dinner options (think everything from crab cakes and grilled cheese to shrimp linguine and baby rack ribs) in a roaring 20s setting. If you want, spend the rest of the night here sipping cocktails (don't skip the Drake's Spritzer) and treating yourself to bottle service. Or make your way to Harlowe , an equally glamorous spot for cocktails and often live music.

Morning: Start your day with brunch at Manhattan Beach Post , a playful spot with artisan plates that include bacon cheddar biscuits, deep-fried chimichanga burritos, and cinnamon rolls.

Afternoon: Check the calendar at the Ace Hotel downtown for one of the epic Sunday pool parties. You'll find a small pool here, but that's not the point. What you'll take in are incredible views of LA, the city's top DJs and live bands, and fantastic cocktails. If you'd rather something more low key, try a cooking class with Hipcooks , that takes advantage of California's fresh cuisine and shows you the ropes to making impressive dishes that will impress everyone back at home. Evening: Happy hour tonight is at Perch , a rooftop bar with perfect views of downtown LA from a 16th-floor setting. From happy hour make your way to Catch , a quintessential LA spot for fresh seafood, including delicious sushi and classics like lobster mac and cheese and herb-roasted branzino, in a chic setting where you might spot a celebrity or two.

After dinner make your way to the Hollywood area for the epic nightlife scene. Close out your weekends with options like Poppy , a high-fashion nightclub that feels right out of a story book; the Surly Goat for craft beers and a great outdoor patio; Tiki Nola for beachy cocktails; or Pump , for all the Vanderpump Rules fans looking to spot a Bravolebrity or two.

Six Unique Los Angeles Bachelorette Party Ideas

Bachelorette parties are the perfect way to unwind from the stress of wedding planning and show your closest girlfriends how much you appreciate their love, loyalty, and support. Though Vegas and Palm Springs are only a stone’s throw away, Olivia Restaurant encourages future brides (or the Maid of Honor, if bachelorette-planning responsibilities have fallen to you) to consider these other fun options!

Olivia Restaurant Is Perfect For A Private "Girls Night Out"

#1. A Girl’s (ONLY) Night Out

Nothing is worse than trying to dance at a club with your girlfriends while being mobbed by handsy guys handing out cheesy pickup lines. If you’d prefer an upbeat environment without the constant unwelcomed advances, consider reserving a small, private banquet hall or club for your bachelorette party. Many event venues (like the above-picture Olivia Restaurant ) offer in-house catering, adjustable lighting, and a number of great entertainment vendors to choose from!

Yacht Charter

#2: Charter A Yacht

One of the swankiest bachelorette party activities, chartering a private yacht is a luxurious way to spend the day in the sunshine and bond with your bridesmaids. Los Angeles has several reputable yacht rental companies, like  Los Angeles Yacht Charter , and many offer day cruises to Paradise Cove in Malibu or to the world-famous Catalina Island. Margaritas not included!

Slumber Party

#3: Throw A Slumber Party

If you or your bridesmaids are on a budget, hosting a good old-fashioned slumber party is a fantastic way to have quality time with your girlfriends without breaking the bank. Find a cheesy “romcom ” on Netflix, order a bunch of pizzas, crack open a few bottles of wine, give yourselves pedicures, talk about boys—you’ll be surprised how much you’ll have just lounging around in your pajamas!

Karaoke Lounge

#4: Go For Karaoke

Stumbling through a drunken version of NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” is a sure-fire way to have some laughs and bring you and your bridesmaids closer. If you’re afraid of singing in front of a room full of strangers, consider booking a private room in one of Los Angeles’ many Asian-style karaoke lounges (like  Palm Tree L.A , pictured above). These establishments provide clients with everything they need to have a great time, including bottle service, food, and detailed instructions on how to operate the karaoke machine!

Pole Dancing Class

#5: Take A Sexy Dancing Class

Though some may consider them risque, sexy dance classes (like the above-pictured pole dancing class offered at  Goddess Fitness Dance Studio  in Sherman Oaks) are becoming increasingly popular bachelorette party activities. Channeling your inner exotic dancer may feel silly at first, but by the end of the class we guarantee you and your bridesmaids will all be laughing, sweating, and feeling sexier than ever!

Temecula, California

#6: Escape For A Weekend In Wine Country

California is famous for it’s wineries, but unfortunately, the 7-hour drive might put Napa just out-of-reach for many Angelenos. Luckily, the lesser-known (and thus less crowded) Temecula is only an hour away, and establishments like South Coast Winery and Resort  offer top-notch amenities, including wine tasting classes, spas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-service salon, and more!

9 reviews for Romantic Lagoon 380

We chartered a yacht to Catalina out of Marina Del Rey. OnBoat know the boats and they know the terrain. I would recommend people make dinner reservations on island in advance. There is only one restaurants at 2 harbors, I know there are more restaurants in Avalon, however we all loved to stay in 2 harbors area due to the pristine water around the area. We also visited the Wrigley Botanic garden, which my wife, who is into rare plants, thought was awesome. The boat comes with everything we need, 4 bunk rooms, little kitchen, fresh water showers ,water toys, etc, captain John is knowledgeble and easy going, we had a blast

So fun! We rented this boat for 4 hours to surprise my Dad for his 70th Birthday. And it was a hit! He loved it and so did we. The boat was beautiful and clean and charming, just as it looks in the pictures, but even better than I was expecting. And the Captain took excellent care of us! He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and played excellent music. All in all, a perfect day at sea! Would highly recommend!

This was such a wonderful company to work with — they were friendly, efficient and made sure we had a blast out on the water. We went swimming and just hung out and ate for 4 hours and the time flew by. Our captain was AMAZING and so easy to be around. I highly recommend this company 🙂 and the Romantic catamaran yacht

Had such an amazing birthday on the boat. We took the catamaran sailboat for my birthday party on Memorial weekend. The boat is extremely spacious and beautiful, best possible trip! Great price, highly reccomended! Catamaran is so comfortable while cruise on open water

I’ve sailed with OnBoat many times in the past 2 years since I live in the Marina and I must admit that they’ve been the most reliable, responsive and has the best staff from the minute you book. I usually sail with Captain Johnny F and he’s always such a great captain, making sure everyone is safe and calling out the dolphins for us! Romantic catamaran is my fav sail. It’s spotless clean, has a great lounge area and nothing beats the front lounge, especially for those that get a bit motion sickness, this is the best spot. For covid times, I just did the sail July 3rd and it was EPIC! Granted that it was only limited to 6 people, Patti our Captain was fabulous, making sure we were comfortable always and no one on board feeling sick. I watched the staff clean the boat before we got on so that was very reassuring. I’ve done company outings on this sail as well and highly recommend it as the staff and booking process is truly excellent. You will have a time of your life on this sail. 4 hours is never enough, oh you can extend it as well. I will be doing a few more sails since vacations aren’t really an option right now for travelers.

I did a lot of research and found Onboat to be above and beyond the most affordable option for renting a boat for a bachelorette party I was planning. When I had questions both myself and another member of the bachelorette party were able to call Marc and reach him on our first try. He answered all our questions and made us comfortable making the reservation.I received an e-mail with the exact location to meet up and details regarding parking two full months prior to my actual event. In an unfortunate turn of events, we had to cancel the bachelorette party and our reservation. I got same day responses from Shino, Ben, and Mark and they were very quick to respond and honor their refund policy without question. Just through these communications, I trust Onboat with future events and will be back in the future.

I never write reviews, but OnBoat is so amazing I couldn’t not come hype them up!! My husband and We live in Los Angeles, and we decided to charter a catamaran so we could have the extra room and deck space that this type of boat provides for laying out in the sun.. We had a blast!! The captain was super friendly and We brought a playlist to use with their. Bluetooth sound system. This yacht was extra nice and it was very relaxing!!!! We will definitely do this again!!

This catamaran yacht lives up to its name and then some, what a romantic experience, we are in love with the yacht and the water!

Wow! What a beautiful vessel and an incredible Captain! We were so lucky to have Captain Steve for our 2 hour tour in Marina Del Rey. The boat was gorgeous. We especially loved laying out on the net. Our only regret – we should have reserved 4 hours instead of 2!

A Los Angeles Bachelorette Party Itinerary

Ready for some fun in the sun? A Los Angeles bachelorette party is ideal for a party-loving girl gang.

There are few places better suited for a bachelorette party than the City of Angels. In Los Angeles and the surrounding areas , there’s truly something for everyone at a Los Angeles bachelorette party, whether you and your girls are looking for  early morning hikes to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood sign or late-nights partying with A-listers — or a little bit of both. Known for its star power, incredible sights, top-notch dining and nearly wonderful year-round beautiful weather, here’s everything you need to do a Los Angeles bachelorette party the right (read: fun) way.

Get your sunglasses ready and prepare for the celebrity treatment during your Los Angeles bachelorette party at these Hollywood-approved restaurants, bars, hotels—and more.

First timers, don’t be afraid to check out all of the city’s most famous sites during your Los Angeles bachelorette party including LACMA, the Hollywood Sign, and even the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Once you’ve checked off the touristy stuff venture to Santa Monica, Venice or Manhattan Beach. Venice Beach, in particular, is packed with personality including bodybuilders at Muscle Beach Gym, colorful murals on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, and skateboards whizzing through the boardwalk. Just a 10 minute walk from the boardwalk, you’ll get a taste of Europe at the Venice Canals, a historic district composed of man-made canals. Top tip: Google may lead you astray so instead, follow the boardwalk south until you reach 25th street to see the canals.

And now, let’s get to what you came here for: Wine, and lots of it. Malibu Wine Safaris has become one of the most popular, social media-friendly spots in recent years. Here, you get the best of both worlds by sampling wines from the 1000-acre vineyard and befriending zebras, camels, and Stanley the Giraffe. Looking for something more low key? Take a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to Rosenthal , a tasting room directly across from Malibu water. Even better, there’s also food trucks and live music on Saturday and Sunday. If you’d like a healthier alternative that gets your heart rate up and you want to see the iconic sites of the city, book a tour with Bikes and Hikes , which as the name suggests, allows you to trek around, via your feet or two wheels.

No bachelorette party is complete without a night out on the town . For a true Magic Mike experience, check out The Hollywood Men , the only upscale, fully-choreographed male strip show in the area. Set your eyes on the Hollywood skyline — much different than chiseled abs, no? — at Perch , a rooftop patio in DTLA. Posh nightclubs like Poppy and Warwick will turn your G.N.O. into a lavish night of luxury and bottle service. In fact, Poppy will take you into a fantasy storybook setting with mermaids, peacocks, and gypsies. If you’re the type of crowd who wants to have a nice dinner that’s a bit edgy, and then head out to hop around the most famous gay bars (think The Abbey), consider having dinner at STK Hollywood . Here, they can make a specialized menu for your group that caters to dietary needs—and comes complete with neon lights and funky decor. Make sure to ask for the cotton candy dessert at the end that’s a show itself!

If you don’t want to change out of your bikini (we get it), stop by The Bungalow in Santa Monica, comprised of a main bar, outdoor patio area, game room, and state room —  for a casual night of boozin’ with your ladies.

Where to Eat

Let’s get this out of the way: Not everyone survives on green juice in Los Angeles. Quite the opposite, brunch is basically everyone’s love language. Sqirl , which has a classic menu (avocado toast!) and minimalist vibe, is one of the trendiest places to get your brunch on. If there’s a vegan in your friend group or you just enjoy plant-based food, hit up Cafe Gratitude in Beverly Hills, Venice, or their two downtown locations. Word to the wise: People rave about their avocado-based Key Lime Pie if you’re looking to start your day with something sweet.

Of course, we can’t forget about hangover food. Nurse yourself back to health with a massive egg sandwich at Eggslut . (You’re welcome.)

Since you’re close to the water, you have to indulge in a seafood dinner. Catch , a celebrity hotspot in West Hollywood, offers some of the freshest fish in the city and picture-perfect atmosphere, complete with sprawling greenery and twinkle lights. Even more glamorous, the Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel is sprawling with Hollywood history and candy-striped ceilings. Up your chances for a celebrity sighting by sitting on the Polo’s patio, which is well-decorated and well endowed with some of your favorite movie stars.

You’re only getting married once—and sometimes that means having the brunch of your dreams. Though it isn’t where Pretty Woman was filmed, you’ll feel as if you stepped into the lap of luxury when you dine at The Peninsula Hotel’s restaurant, The Belvedere during your Los Angeles bachelorette party. With endless light flowing in (perfect for Instagram selfies), white table cloths and fancy champagne that free-flows, you’ll savor every second. Make sure to try the lobster waffles and the caesar salad—two unlikely standouts from their brunch buffet.

Before that hangry feeling sets in, make a pit stop at DK’s Donuts for a massive donut that you can all share. Their Santa Monica location is open 24/7, which means you can cap off your night of drinking with an apple fritter or two. For a healthier option, go to Amazebowls for a build-your-own acai bowl. On Melrose Avenue, swing by Caffera Cafe for a latte with seriously impressive latte art. You tell ‘em what you want and they’ll make it, anything from Drake to Ryan Gosling’s profile.

Where to Stay

Whether your decide to stay in the center of the action or tucked away on the shore, there’s plenty of stunning hotels that are ideal for a Los Angeles bachelorette party. At some hotels, like Dream Hotels in Hollywood, you don’t even have leave the premises to experience the best in dining in nightlife. In addition to The Highlight Room, the hotel’s 11,000 square foot lounge, it is worth the splurge to dine at Beauty & Essex. While the decadent cocktails are flowing, you can nibble your way through a mouthwatering menu, complete with tomato soup dumplings and a side of mini grilled cheese that can’t be beat.

Lean on the city’s charm at The Garland in North Hollywood, which gets its name from actress Beverly Garland who built the hotel with her husband in 1970. It still carries the same retro vibe with mod prints, bright colors, and an old-school trolley that’ll take you to Universal Studios and CityWalk. You know what that means: No Uber necessary. And psst: Their on site restaurant, The Front Yard hosts a brightly-lit brunch with all-you-can-booze mimosas is a fun way to conquer your hangover or get the day started.

If you’re on a budget and you’d like some space, consider staying at Le Parc Suites in West Hollywood. It’s a bit off the main road, making it more affordable, and features a kitchen—ideal for quick bites or pre-gaming. You can easily Uber to most of the must-see areas, and if you happen to visit during the off-season in January, that fireplace will come in handy.
