A pillar of the Landyachtz DH line for almost two decades, the Evo has been under the feet of World Champions, countless race winners and podium contenders. Pressed with 10 plies of high-quality Canadian maple, the Evo 40 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance. The Evo comes with 40 degree, 155mm Gen 6 reverse kingpin trucks. The narrow, 155mm hanger gives you a defined hookup from slides, and more control over your steering. This year we set up the Evo with 72mm, 78a Plow Kings, which are stone ground to give you a confident slide right out of the box, have superb roll speed for those long commutes, and come with a wide contact patch for more confidence in the corners.

Landyachtz Longboards

Landyachtz has emerged as one of the most accomplished skateboard manufacturer in the world, regularly topping lists of the top longboard brands and the most sought-after longboards for riders.

About Landyachtz

Landyachtz produced their first board before the turn of the millennium. Born in the mountains of North Vancouver, there was a clear demand for a more durable (and faster) solution to tackle those downhill routes. As with most successful companies born out of necessity, they had no idea where the road would take them: to new heights and, of course, new slopes.

The results are clear. Landyachtz has gone from just the basics to producing some of the most sought-after sets and individual completes around. They were one of the longboard brands that pioneered the technical spec’s we take for granted now. The lesson? It’s not just trucks and wheels. It’s the total package. What Makes Them Different: One Board One Tree

The math is simple: Landyachtz plants a tree for every board they sell.

Gen 6 Bear Trucks (180mm 40°)

I'd like to say I own the 155s and 130s. Love them for freeride and downhill. Or just pumping around. There's enough space to run split axle widths (130/138, 155/163), enough kingpin for medium barrels(while using inserts). And at 50°/37° and 50°/25° I'm having a ton of fun. My favorite trucks to date.

Didn't mind upgrading to a little lighter and higher quality Ti truck for one of my lighter longboards. Great build quality and great ride as usual.

These trucks pump and carve really well.

Super nice truck with less weight than its bretheren. Threw it on a Drop Cat 33 and that kitty is a light weight cheetah demon! Solid buy, especially if you are able to find it on sale (which I did).

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve. 

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
