Oct 9, 2022. #14. If memory serves me correctly, these boats are pretty good, but I usually rent Fort Lauderdale yacht charters for my needs and favors. They are great for fishing and recreation, but honestly, if you want to rent a boat specifically for fishing, you should look into better options.
Anyone tested Viko 35S
I came across the Viko boatyard at the CYF 2023. The boatyard reps seemed quite well informed about the boat, production and overall sailing performance - something I didn't expect from any "newer" boat builders af Cannes YF. Does anyone have experience testing the Viko 35S in rough conditions? If so, please ping me, would love to hear more.

I also don't believe it for the thirty either although the review i saw said it wasn't very well fitted out.

Our test boat had non-standard grab handles and pods for nav instruments on the helm pedestals. They would be at risk of being snagged by the mainsheet during manoeuvres, so owners might prefer to mount their instruments elsewhere. On the water in uncompromising conditions, the Viko was excellent. Under sail she was a revelation. Due to an issue with reefing lines, we could only put one reef in, so were over-canvassed all things considered. Yet the little yacht stood it well and manfully stuck to the task of actually sailing, hitting 6.5kt at times and 7kt-plus off the wind.
