What is the MSC Yacht Club? Take a look at MSC Cruises’ luxury suite area

Ashley Kosciolek

MSC Cruises sails nearly two dozen beautiful ships from home ports around the world, but their inviting sun decks can be crowded, and you're likely to encounter queues for dinner, shows and guest services.

The trick to creating a more luxurious experience on this big-ship cruise line is to book a stay in the line's Yacht Club. This upscale enclave within MSC Cruises ' larger ships offers guests more spacious accommodations, butler service and dedicated restaurants and lounges — even coffee delivered to your room each morning, just the way you like it.

Because of the Yacht Club , MSC can offer an inviting experience for cruisers who like big-ship cruising but crave more elevated accommodations, dining and amenities. MSC Cruises was one of the first lines to introduce this ship-within-a-ship concept, along with Norwegian Cruise Line . Now other popular cruise lines, such as Royal Caribbean , also have adopted it.

The Yacht Club section on several of MSC Cruises' ships offers gated access to semi-private dining, butler service and more, but it comes at a price. Find out how much you can expect to pay and what you'll get for your money.

In addition, passengers booked in the Yacht Club have access to their own dedicated bar, lounge and restaurant, as well as a semi-private outdoor bar, pool and hot tubs, all on an exclusive sun deck. When ships dock at the line's private island, Ocean Cay Marine Reserve , Yacht Club passengers have private beach and restaurant access .

In their cabins, Yacht Club cruisers will find a pillow menu, memory foam mattresses, high-quality linens, bathrooms with marble floors, a specialty coffee maker, complimentary open minibar access, one gratis bottle of spirits (choose from a list of available options), free one-time snacks, 24-hour room service and nightly turn-down chocolates from Venchi, an Italian chocolatier that partners with the cruise line.

Which MSC cruise ships have the Yacht Club?

Thirteen ships in the MSC Cruises fleet have the Yacht Club on board:

  • MSC Bellissima
  • MSC Euribia
  • MSC Fantasia
  • MSC Grandiosa
  • MSC Meraviglia
  • MSC Preziosa
  • MSC Seascape.
  • MSC Seashore.
  • MSC Seaside
  • MSC Seaview
  • MSC Splendida
  • MSC Virtuosa
  • MSC World Europa

Upcoming vessel MSC World America (2025) also will have the Yacht Club.

MSC Yacht Club cabins

All accommodations in the Yacht Club are labeled as suites, even though they comprise some standard cabin types. The specific stateroom types offered will vary by ship, but in general, they range from windowless interior cabins and deluxe balcony rooms to Executive and Royal Suites with more space, walk-in closets and bathrooms with both showers and bathtubs.

New to the fleet with the line's World Class are 1,600-square-foot Owner Suites, which include multi-room layouts, walk-in closets, bathtubs and balconies, each with a whirlpool and alfresco dining area.

Also new are Duplex Suites, offering two decks of space, with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a dining area, living room and guest bath downstairs. These also include two private sun decks with loungers, one of which boasts a whirlpool.

How much does it cost to stay in the MSC Yacht Club?

yacht club m c

As you might expect, the cost to stay in the Yacht Club depends on several factors, including cabin type, the length of the sailing and where you're going and when. However, in line with the rest of the brand's pricing, a stay in the Yacht Club is an excellent value when you compare it to stays in other lines' dedicated suite areas or to luxury cruise prices.

I priced out several sailings departing over the next two years on some of the line's newest and largest ships. This is what was available at press time. (Note: MSC Cruises' website will only allow me to choose a general Yacht Club designation when booking. That means a guaranteed suite within the Yacht Club, but you won't know what type it is until closer to sailing.)

MSC Seashore

I tried a ship-within-a-ship cruise experience and it was worth it for the endless perks—here’s why

The MSC Yacht Club affords travelers a totally different cruising experience, but you’ll have to splurge.

Erica Lamberg

I heard tales of luxury from people about the ritzy MSC Yacht Club , the ship-within-a-ship concept where discerning passengers enjoy their own area of the cruise ship that includes a dedicated restaurant, private lounge, separate pool and sundeck as well as private butlers and concierges to take of any whim while cruising. The elevated Yacht Club boasts priority everything while sailing MSC.

I sailed on a four-night cruise on the new MSC Seashore, a glitzy ship with Italian flair intermingled with references to New York City at every turn. Although the ship was well-appointed and had amazing dining, drinking and entertainment venues, and a bountiful Top Sail main buffet, thousands of passengers made the ship feel crowded at times, elevators were slow, and as I strolled through the general pools, they were boisterous and crowded.

RECOMMENDED: 10 things about cruising on an adults-only ship that might surprise you

Switch gears to MSC Seashore’s Yacht Club, passkey-protected for lucky guests, and is a 180 from the ship’s general spaces. Once you scan your handy Yacht Club wrist badge, or your room key, you’re instantly given entrance to a breathtaking retreat of 131 staterooms and suites. All this luxury does come at a price. Cruise fares will vary based on destination, time of year, and cabin category, but generally speaking you can expect to pay double for the Yacht Club. And from my experience, it’s worth it. Read more about why you should splurge.

You’re fast-tracked through everything

The Yacht Club’s exclusivity and impeccable service standard started from the moment I got dropped off at the Port Canaveral cruise terminal. There were hundreds of people waiting to board at 1pm on embarkation day. I saw in the distance a canopy that said MSC Yacht Club. My husband and I wheeled our carry-on luggage to the representative under the canopy. I gave her my name and within two seconds, she gave me a sticker to wear and up we ascended on the escalator to check in. Just five minutes later, I was directed to the dedicated check-in area for Yacht Club guests. To my right, I saw about 1,000 people serpentine through ropes to do general check-in. I felt a sense of relief; who wants to wait in that line? Five minutes later, a butler from the Yacht Club insisted on wheeling my luggage to board the ship and I was in my room in a total on 12 minutes from the time I stepped foot out of the car to my stateroom in the Yacht Club.

Relaxing and streamlined

In addition, Yacht Club guests have the freedom to get off the ship first for excursions. Your butler will happily escort you off the ship with a smile. Guests also can disembark on the last morning first, which is a big convenience. Your butler walks you right to the place you disembark, bypassing crowds and hassles. Port Canaveral is about an hour away from Orlando International Airport, and we took a 10 am flight home. We didn’t have to linger around until the afternoon for our flight home.

Another perk is that there’s a special seating area in the theater for shows. All the shows were excellent during my voyage. All other ship passengers have to make reservations in advance for shows but that’s not the case for the privileged Yacht Club passengers. As long as you arrive about 10 minutes before any show you choose, a crew member from the Club will allow you entry into a special roped-off section. Again, no rushing through dinner—you have the flexibility to plan your evenings your way.

MSC Seashore

Your Yacht Club package is packed with remarkable value

The price tag may sound daunting, but there’s lots of value there. All Yacht Club cabins and suites include a premium drink package that covers beverages up to $15. You can use this perk both in the Yacht Club and throughout the ship. In addition, your package includes a two-device Wi-Fi package, which worked well during my sailing. Finally, you get access to the thermal spa suite, which is a place to indulge after a day in port or a sea day. Commonly, there’s a taboo regarding mini-bars, but not in the Yacht Club. It’s stocked each day with the beverages you want; just tell your butler and consider it done.

You get perks ashore too

If your sailing includes a call to Ocean Cay, MSC’s private island, Yacht Club guests get an elevated experience there too. Yacht Club guests enjoy a private area, and a dedicated restaurant called the Ocean House. While other ship guests were hosted to a buffet of predictable fare, I enjoyed a lobster roll, and my husband chose carne asada. In my opinion, one thing that could be improved was the tram service to the Yacht Club’s private area. We were told the last tram back was 3:30pm if we didn’t want to trek a 15-minute walk in the heat. Since we were docked in Ocean Cay for the evening and weren’t sailing, I was a bit dismayed by this logistical quirk. I felt like I was keeping an eye on my phone to make sure I didn’t miss the last tram.

You have private areas with curated food and drink and outdoor spaces

Within the Yacht Club complex, there’s the Yacht Club Restaurant, Top Sail Lounge and the One Pool Buffet, which are all exclusive to Yacht Club guests. Obviously, the food and service are steps above other dining venues of the ship, I can vouch for that. Although the food is delicious, if you don’t want to pay extra to dine at the specialty restaurants or fuss in the main buffet, eating three meals a day in the Yacht Club restaurant can get a bit monotonous. The breakfast is the same daily, and lunch and dinner offer a menu with daily specials plus a few standby selections like a hamburger or pasta each day. Although the Yacht Club Restaurant concept is desirable, I would strongly suggest dining in other venues on board, especially for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed specialty dining in Ocean Cay Restaurant, Butcher’s Cut, and Kaito Teppanyaki. I also want to mention that late afternoon high tea is offered daily at the Yacht Club Restaurant. It was one of the nicest I have experienced at sea.

MSC Seashore

Also available exclusively to Yacht Club passengers is the Top Sail Lounge, which offers panoramic water views and has chef-curated selections from morning through late night. We enjoyed popping into the lounge at all hours to try finger foods and sweets. The One Pool Buffet offers a more casual option for breakfast and lunch by the pool. The buffet has grilled fish, sandwiches and lots of delicious options if you want to dine outside.

There’s also an exclusive area with a private pool and two whirlpools for Yacht Club guests only. The sun deck loungers are very comfortable and I never had to worry about finding a lounger, there are ample. One issue I had was that there was almost no shade on the sun deck; there were shaded day beds for Royal Suite and Owners Suite guests, but beyond those, I couldn’t find any shade, which was disappointing.

You can justify the price at the end of your cruise

Overall, the best way to explain my enthusiasm for my MSC Yacht Club experience is this: it’s better to book an interior stateroom in the Yacht Club than a luxe cabin outside the Yacht Club. It’s worth the splurge and you return home feeling truly pampered and it’s money well-spent. And I make this prediction: Once you try a ship-within-a-ship concept like the MSC Yacht Club, you won’t want cruise any other way. Bon Voyage!

Club M: On board the 39.75m Baglietto superyacht

Packed with custom features for an experienced owner, Baglietto superyacht Club M is a Swiss Army knife in a neat package. BOAT sizes her up...

"It is a small 70 metre,” says Baglietto’s project manager Davide Pistorello of the new 40-metre Club M . The comparison with larger superyachts keeps coming up in conversations with the exterior designer, Horacio Bozzo , the interior designer, Achille Salvagni , and the project managers.

And truly, the planning, engineering, interior, materials and level of customisation of this new Baglietto rival that of much larger custom yachts. This is due in large part to the owner, who hails from the real estate world and has been involved in high-profile residential and hospitality projects in New York. He knows design, understands construction and has been boating for some 30 years with his family. All this experience went into creating his first custom-built yacht.

The owner agreed to speak about the process on the condition of keeping his name out of the discussion. “My wife and I cherish our privacy,” he says, which was one of the primary driving factors in the design of Club M .

We catch up over the phone from his office in Manhattan after he’s had a chance to spend a few weeks on board, an experience he thoroughly enjoyed. “I am very, very happy,” he says, before we delve into his boating history. He owned and ran many boats that brought him and his family pleasure but that left him wanting in one way or another. “I love being on boats,” he says, “and I was OK to spend the money to fix them when they needed it, but I was not happy with the layout or the quality or specifications.”

When the time came to look at a new yacht, he decided he’d build it to his exacting standards and avoid the same formulaic solutions found on many semi-custom yachts. He wanted something fresh and new, which required him to do a lot of the legwork.

“I worked on this for three years,” he says. “I took my time, interviewed a lot of designers and visited studios in Europe and a few here in the US. I met with a lot of shipyards, went to many boat shows and spent considerable time doing the research and looking at much bigger yachts – 60 metres, 70 metres – to understand what I wanted to build for us as a family.”

His research led him to the exterior designer first. “I interviewed quite a lot of designers and many are great, but with Horacio [Bozzo] I felt a good connection from the beginning,” he says, “and [appreciated] more than anything his willingness and openness to push the envelope and come up with a concept that had not really been done before.”

From the beginning, the owner liked the idea of a straight bow, which helps maximise the space as well as giving the yacht a contemporary look. This bow shape also helped create what the owner wanted above all, which was a very large and well-connected upper deck that allows free movement from bow to stern without going up and down steps. “I don’t think it’s been done like this on a yacht this size,” he says.

Being out in the open air on a boat is a welcome change of pace from life in New York City. Days are short in the city and it rains often. Boating is a nice reprieve. So naturally, he wanted views, a lot of light and large outdoor lounging and dining spaces that could be used in mid-season.

He also wanted to keep the yacht at a size that would not require a crew of more than four or five and would allow him the pleasure to take the wheel once in a while. One unusual request at a time when boats seem to grow vertically was that he wished for no more than two accommodation decks, which is quite rare on a yacht of this length, but allowed him to achieve a chic, sleek look – with no apparent jet skis, tenders or cranes.

The result is a raised pilothouse design very much unlike any other, with a low profile, long hull lines and a versatile top deck with extra-wide side decks – “they are as wide as walkways on some 60-metre yachts,” says Bozzo. About a quarter of the deck is covered, but with a system of louvres and electrically operated windows integrated into the hardtop, this entertainment space is flexible. It can be fully opened to the sunshine and sea breeze, or partially or fully sheltered. Even then, the light pours in.

It’s one of many interesting features. “Let me say that the boat is loaded,” says Bozzo. “It has all the amenities you find on larger boats: an owner’s balcony, a side boarding ladder, a beach club.” The foredeck has a lounge with vast sunpads and tables, which can be protected by an awning. Skylights integrated into the teak deck allow the sun to reach the owner’s suite on the main deck.

To keep views all around, the designer decided to use stainless-steel railings, like on a sailing yacht, and conceal the jet skis under the foredeck sunpad, as the owner suggested.

It takes closer examination to notice that Club M has a portside garage with an integrated crane, primarily used for the 3.4-metre rescue tender; the yacht is also designed to tow an 11-metre diesel Fjord 36 chase boat. Wing stations flanking the pilothouse are mounted on pistons, like a table would be, so they recede out of view when they are not being used.

A stepladder custom made by Sanguineti Chiavari deploys from within the decks to add a temporary link between the upper and main deck – allowing, for instance, the crew to access the main deck without walking past the guests as they lounge on the sundeck. At night, the yacht is illuminated by 28 underwater lights and a kilometre of rope lighting. The more closely you look at Club M , the more you realise she is a bit like a Swiss Army knife, with working tools hidden in a sleek envelope.

For the interior design and most of the deck furnishings, the owner selected Achille Salvagni, who has made his mark in yachts with semi-custom designs for Azimut-Benetti as well as bespoke interiors, such as the superb 70-metre Rossinavi Numptia . The owners had an easy time getting along with the designer, who understood their likes very quickly. “My wife and I spent a lot of time with him in Rome, London and here in New York and it was a really good working environment. He understands yachting and his design aesthetics are the top of the game,” the owner says.

With Club M , Salvagni, who also has a thriving line of custom furniture, home accessories and objets d’art, had the opportunity to create a fully bespoke interior. One inspiration for the design came from a remark the owner made in an early meeting. “When we met, he said: ‘I want to be my own club, my own planet,’” Salvagni says. “That drove me immediately to a different world. That’s why I created all these circular shapes,” he says. References to planetary objects and spacecraft are subtle but serve as a leitmotif throughout.

Within the interiors, aside from sizable windows, are limed oak, polished surfaces and a darker wood from the eucalyptus family. Salvagni also used parchment in lieu of leather, “because it is so thin that it can easily follow complex shapes”, as well as suede in the cabins. “It is all soft and subtle,” he says.

He eschewed sharp corners and edges in favour of curves and spheres wherever possible. Even stone seems to melt, with bathroom sinks shaped to resemble the craters of the moon, mirroring circular shapes in the main saloon’s ceiling.

To install the parchment, Salvagni found a technician who worked with Gio Ponti in Milan, another from the Vatican to work on the bronzed surfaces, and the hand-knotted silk carpets were made in Tibet. “When I have an outstanding craftsman, I create a project around him,” says Salvagni, but it is all in the pursuit of creating an atmosphere around the yacht’s owners. For instance, he used cast bronze elements to create green vegetation for the towel bars as a nod to the wife’s passion for flowers, and bronze and alabaster for sconces because the owners did not want too many references to the industrial world but prefer more natural materials.

All is scaled to fit within this specific envelope. A successful and sought-after residential designer, Salvagni approaches spaces on yachts differently than he does on land. “The space in the yacht is completely different from a residential one, so each element has to be created specifically. A seat on a yacht cannot have the height of a seat of a residential space because the floor-to-ceiling height is 25 per cent less; if you put a sofa made for a residence on board, it will appear as a giant sofa,” he explains. No such issue on Club M – all furnishings, except for a few exterior pieces by Paola Lenti, were designed and made specifically for the yacht.

Defining the design both inside and out was the owner’s important first step. It was only when the look and feel of Club M were well developed that he hired a project manager. “We put together a detailed specification book, and once we were ready with that, we went to bid out the job,” the owner says.

It was a tight race to the finish, he says, but ultimately the historic Italian shipyard Baglietto earned the business. The yard is perfectly versed in the construction of fast all-aluminium vessels and of late has taken increasingly larger projects. The management was interested in building a pure custom project for an American client and was both willing and competitive, the owner says.

Club M’ s custom features proved to be an interesting challenge, says Pistorello, the yard’s experienced project manager. “There are a lot of complex movements – a folding terrace, the garage, hidden ladders that connect different decks – a lot of details that are amazing in a boat of this size,” he says.

In all it took about one third more working hours to create Club M than a comparably sized yacht. “It took two months just to create the curved teak shape around the Jacuzzi,” Pistorello says. This one feature (picture it as a truncated cone), which gives the glass-sided Jacuzzi the appearance that it is floating, had to be made first with plain wood, which was shaped to fit and then covered with similarly shaped teak.

Perhaps most challenging, however, was the interior with all these magnificent rounded shapes and curves, plus the large windows on the main deck, which had to be approved by the classification society. The interior was installed with meticulous precision by Mobilart, a company based in Pisa that worked closely with Salvagni and the yard.

In addition, the contract specified an aggressively low 40-decibel noise level, which mandated a careful study of materials and insulation. Then, of course, all of it had to work well with the boat in motion, 12 guests on board and a crew of five. Club M passed with flying colours during the owner’s six-week shakedown cruise in the Mediterranean.

The yacht “looks great and it runs great”, says the owner’s project manager, Roni Meshoulam. “It is top quality in terms of the space, efficiency.manoeuvrability and visibility; it’s also very quiet. You don’t hear the engines [Caterpillar C32s] anywhere on the main deck,” he says.

The yacht reached a top speed of 18.7 knots and it uses only about 100 litres of fuel an hour at economical speed, he says, which in theory gives it transatlantic range. It has everything from a Lloyd’s-approved integrated bridge by Telemar, to a sophisticated audiovisual system by Videoworks to supersized Naiad stabilisers and a 100-horsepower bow thruster that will keep the boat in place in 25 knots of wind.

“A lot of this equipment is what you would find in a 50-metre yacht,” Meshoulam says. Fitting it all within a sleek aluminium platform with a Bahamas-friendly draught was part of the challenge. “[Building a yacht] is always a conflict for me between beauty and practicality,” he says. “This is a win.”

The owner agrees. “Of course, we wanted it to be beautiful, but it is not a museum. The challenge is to create something that is functional and feels homely.” Club M is that great combination and it is proof that big ideas come in all different sizes.

Megaship msc world america brings yacht club to north america.

MSC Cruises has announced that they will bring their beloved MSC Yacht Club experience to cruisers in North America in 2025. Their new megaship, MSC World America, will have seven distinct districts so guests can easily customize their vacation and prioritize what they most want to experience on board the ship. MSC Yacht Club will be one of those districts.

MSC World America is a mega-ship with seven districts.

The World Of A Reimagined MSC Yacht Club

Imagine a luxury cruise operating within a normal cruise. That’s sort of what it’s like to stay in the Yacht Club section of MSC cruise ships. This “ship-within-a-ship” concept offers a secluded retreat area with exclusive, quiet spaces, its own restaurant, luxury suites, and more.

On the MSC World America, the Yacht Club will have special accommodations for those who can indulge in total luxury. They offer double-balcony duplex suites that are great for large groups of friends or families who travel together. These suites span two decks. The lower deck has a dining and living area with a guest bathroom. The upper level has a primary bedroom with its own private bathroom. Two private sundecks with a private hot tub, outdoor seating area, and upper deck are also included.

For solo guests, couples, or smaller groups, multiple-room owner suites allow guests to stay in an elegantly decorated suite with separate living and dining areas, a bedroom, walk-in closet, posh bathroom with a full-sized bathtub, and floor-to-ceiling windows. These suites also have their own private terrace with a hot tub and outdoor dining area.

Dining is elevated in this part of the ship, too. The Top Sail Lounge offers Yacht Club guests panoramic views to enjoy while being served drinks, desserts, and canapés. The MSC Yacht Club Restaurant has a calming ambiance, large menu, and fine wines.

Will trump go to prison here’s what happens now that he’s been found guilty in hush money case., can trump vote as a convicted felon here s what rights he could lose.

MSC Yacht Club on this new ship will also have a large, luxurious sundeck. Guests can take a dip in the hot tub or pool, or they can even relax in a private cabana. That empowers guests to relax in peace and quiet while overlooking the sea or the destinations the cruise will visit. There’s also a lower deck in the Yacht Club with a bar and grill along with a seating area for guests to dine and enjoy cocktails.

Also, Yacht Club guests are given exclusive access to the Ocean House at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise company’s private island in the district of Bimin in The Bahamas. There they can enjoy a private beach and private dining.

The MSC World America Experience

Beyond the MSC Yacht Club, the MSC World America offers a choose-your-own-adventure style of vacationing. They encourage families to identify what they most want to experience on this megaship, then they help them build those ideal experiences.

The ship itself will span 22 decks, and it will have a total of 2,614 staterooms. It has a World Promenade where all cruisers are welcome to enjoy dining, entertainment, vivid light shows, and breathtaking views. Entertainment, dining, and shopping can be enjoyed at the indoor World Galleria.

Dining And Drinking On MSC World America

This megaship has 13 restaurants that are open to all cruisers. Vegan options should be available at all restaurants. However, be sure to tell the restaurant staff in advance about any dietary needs or requests. Some vegan options that have been available on another MSC cruise ships include such diverse dishes as vegan burgers, couscous, tofu ragout, rice noodle dishes, black bean vegetable burritos, pasta primavera, roasted cauliflower steak, tofu vegetable teriyaki, and more.

There are also 20 bars and lounges aboard the MSC World America. There will be a sports bar, a comedy club, a British pub, a gin specialty pub, a mixology bar, and a coffee emporium, among others.

Playing Aboard MSC World America

Adventurous kids and adults alike can go down the ships 11-deck-high dry slide and enjoy the large water park with water slides that incorporate a VR experience. There will also be six pools and 14 hot tubs.

Parents can enjoy some downtime while children play in the Kids Clubs that will have special facilities for age groups that range from infants to older teens.

The three on-board entertainment venues will present plays, music shows, and other family entertainment.

MSC World America’s Energy Efficiency

Despite is large size, MSC World America was designed to be among the most energy-efficient cruise ships in operation. Their latest-generation engines will reduce greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) by up to 20 percent. MSC Cruises is committed to net zero GHG emissions by 2050, so this ship was designed as part of their overall plan for more sustainable cruising experiences.

MSC World America will have its first sailing in April 2025. Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean itineraries are planned for the ship in its first year.

MSC Cruises Announces Record US Presence for 2025-26 Winter Season

MSC Cruises has just announced an expanded lineup of itineraries for its Winter 2025/2026 season, featuring seven ships departing from four major U.S. homeports: Miami , Port Canaveral, New York City , and Galveston. This ambitious schedule, now open for bookings, aims to provide guests with a wider array of vacation options than ever before.

Port Canaveral Additions

Among the season’s highlights will be MSC Grandiosa making her U.S. debut at Port Canaveral, marking the first time one of the line’s Meraviglia-Plus Class ships will operate from a U.S. port. From there, she will sail a selection of seven-night voyages, alternating between Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

By taking up residence in the Florida port, MSC Grandiosa will be joining the Seaside EVO-class MSC Seashore, which will offer an expanded assortment of three- and four-night cruises to Nassau and the line’s private Bahamian island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve .

A Galveston First

Winter 2025/2026 will also see MSC Cruises’ inaugural sailings from the Port of Galveston, where the family-friendly, Seaside EVO-class MSC Seascape will make its home for the season.

This vessel blends sophistication with a lively atmosphere by combining features like 11 onboard dining concepts, 19 bars, an aft infinity pool, a cutting-edge kids and teens club, and the luxury “ship-within-a-ship” MSC Yacht Club experience.

More in Miami

Set to launch in April 2025, MSC World America is poised to transform the cruising experience for passengers departing from PortMiami. The World Class ship will be comprised of seven distinct districts, tailored to suit guests’ various interests and preferences.

The vessel also features the all-new, innovative Cliffhanger—the first swing ride at sea that’s suspended out over the water. For the Winter 2025/2026 season, travelers can embark on alternating seven-night cruises to either the Eastern or Western Caribbean aboard this state-of-the-art vessel.

Private Island Enhancements

Many itineraries will feature stops at the incomparable private island destination of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, which is presently undergoing a significant renovation. Guests sailing in Winter 202/2026 will get to enjoy the expanded and enhanced Reserve, which will include new excursion centers, a snorkel and dive center, additional dining options, and an expanded Ocean House bar and restaurant for MSC Yacht Club guests.

“The Winter 2025-2026 season will mark our largest presence in the U.S. to date, with seven ships sailing from U.S. homeports. We are delighted to provide our guests more choices than ever before when it comes to embarkation ports, ships, itineraries and destinations, making it easy to find the perfect cruise,” said Rubén A. Rodríguez, President, MSC Cruises USA.

“We look forward to introducing MSC Grandiosa to Port Canaveral, launching MSC Seascape from Galveston and offering a new world of cruising aboard MSC World America for our guests embarking in Miami. Combining world-class entertainment, dining and amenities onboard with the fantastic updates coming to Ocean Cay makes for an incredibly exciting future, which is perfect for everyone from first-time cruisers to our most devoted fans.”

Royal North Sea Yacht Club

royal north sea yacht club oostende restaurant

Members only.

Vriendelijke bediening.

royal north sea yacht club oostende restaurant

Superb view. Restaurant for members only! Very good Dover sole

Typical not too much hassle marina restaurant with good quality brasserie type food in relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful bouillabaisse and shrimp salad. Great harbour views. Friendly staff.

Just had lunch at this place while racing in the club. To go into the restaurant you need to be a member of a sailing club but I don’t think they check. View out in the harbor is fantastic, fish is well made and fresh.... Service was ok. But honestly speaking the pricing is ridiculous. A Sole mariniere with just Salat and chips for € 33,80 I hardly ever had before. At least not in a sailing club restaurant. Tomorrow’s lunch I will definitely have in one of the many more restaurants around. More

Very poor quality, where the food was rather good in the past, prices are going up and food we got was nearly eatable. Toilets were dirty, no soap, no towel. I was so embarrassed to my friends that I forgot to take pictures.

If a warm welcome or friendly staff reflects the start of a perfect evening well... sorry! This little nervous impolite rude lady made it an unforgettable evening ( in a bad way). Perhaps she doesn’t know who pays her salary nor that she isn’t Royal... ! tssssss shame More

The management should make up it' mind up about the fact if this is a private venue or not. If it is a private venue it has no place in Tripadvisor. I have been sailing for more than 40 years and I have never experienced... such unfriendlyness. The waitress in casual clothes simply refused to serve me claiming that is a private club memebers only. But this members rule does not seem to be so strict as I saw there was a monthly dinner of the Fifty-one club Oostende, for sure not all members of the sailing club. More

Dear Mr JAKKE 1961 , Indeed the Royal North Sea Yacht Club is a private Yacht Club , only accessible for its members and their guests . And yes the RNSYC is the last really on the belgian coast At the 2 possible entrance gates... More

Overpriced for nothing very memorable. Sour service. I thought we had done something wrong but then I saw other reviews. Shame really because one of our diners came a month ago and was very positive. There surroundings are nice, I guess and these are were... comfy! More

I've eaten here many times (always good), but last Monday evening was exceptional. The Cod on mashed potato and spinach was perfect. I never tire of watching the boats coming in and out. When it's warmer the terrace is lovely. If you can get it... in, you'll enjoy yourself. More

We have been here several times over the years. Service is very friendly. The restaurant is a private club so you must be invited by a member to get in. Food is most seafood and fish, only fresh from the market, if they are sold... out they will tell. Nothing out of the freezer. The chef prepares authentic classics but also dishes with a thai touch. And every day they have a very good cheap lunch special. More

The level of service is very much below the line. In a yacht club I would have expected to have a more customer oriented staff. Too bad, I am sorry

RNSYC is always friendly and welcoming - as always the swell from the sea and the boats in the harbour make the basin a bouncy place to be - sometime uncomfortably so. The club facilities are good and the bar cheap. We didn't eat there... this year. More

Awfull food since the former coock has been fired. They even don't know how to prepare fresh belgian fries (as they ran out of the frozen ones)

This Yacht Club requires a membership to get access. Members of foreign Yacht Clubs are welcome. And members can bring guests. It's situated in a top location - the best - in Ostend. The food and service have been consistently outstanding for many years. It's... my favorite place for lunch or dinner because of the quality of the always fresh food, the friendly service, and the gorgeous views on the Yacht Harbor, the city line of Ostend, and the Channel. It is also good value for your money, and the interior is charmingly classic and maritime, very cosy ! More

Delicious local food prepared fresh on the day. Beautiful views of the harbour. Only drawback is that you have to be invited by a member of the Yacht Club to dine there. Luckily I have a friend who is. One of the best food experiences... in Ostend. More

Ate there the once and had a drink twice , both times found the service poor and the staff rude, to be told to stay there and wait was to much, while she sorted the music out, we only wanted to pay the bill! The... food was ok but expensive and the surrounding are nice,I would not go again and would not recommend unless you like to be treated like a univited guest at a private party More
