We recently booked a 7-day sailing holiday with Riviera Nautic and had the ABSOLUTE BEST time.

We were able to sail our own boat and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Gippsland Lakes. Our yacht was well-maintained, clean and super comfortable. I was worried how we’d go with 2 kids and 2 adults on a boat for a whole week, but it didn’t feel cramped at all, and it was amazing to dock next to a jetty or pull onto a beach and swim, walk, fish, play and explore to our heart’s content.

We got to hang out as a family and spend proper quality time together – sailing during the day and playing board games on the boat at night – away from our usual screens and devices!

For those who like to get wet, they can visit white sand beaches along the Murray River, and the cozy bay beaches that expands along the Mornington Peninsula from Frankston to the heads. The unspoiled Ninety Mile Beach in Gippsland is also a magnificent boating playground just waiting for you to explore it. Victoria also offers scuba divers an intense underwater world of shipwrecks, varied marine life, kelp and soft corals forests. To get the most out of the underwater experience join the crew on a local dive boat to explore the rocky reefs and wrecks.

Surfing is also big in the warmer months in Victoria; tourists come from around the world to surf the breaks at Bells Beach. Learn to surf with an expert, or watch the champions at work at the annual Rip Curl Pro event. If you bring your own boat to Victoria, you’ll find launching ramps, public jetties and boat storage. Some accommodation businesses offer private jetty mooring for their guests. If you don’t have a boat, try one of the charter yachts, cruisers or day boats. Eastern Regions

Gippsland is home to Australia’s largest groups of inland waterways, and it is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Explore the vast lakes, national parks, port-side villages and the Ninety Mile Beach. Further north, the seaside village of Mallacoota is surrounded by the deserted beaches, wildlife and whales-spotting of Croajingolong National Park. For a more relaxing water experience, hire a houseboat and Explore along the Murray River, past red gums and paddle steamers, and stopping off in historic ports to fill up on fuel and regional food and wines. Boating licences are required for most boat operators. Persons hiring or chartering a boat may be exempt, check this out with our helpful staff before booking we are more than happy to help!

Port Phillips wide bay is a fantastic and popular choice for boat and yacht charter fanatics who launch powerboats, yachts and other watercraft on the mostly calm waters. There’s usually a breeze to fill your sails, as well as excellent facilities, including launching ramps and marinas. If you don’t have your own boat, hire a boat from a local boat hire operator. You won’t require a license if you are over 16 years of age, and the boat is not capable of travelling at over 20 knots. You can also hire canoes and kayaks if you feel like a bit of exercise. Alternatively, book yourself on a boat charter and let someone else do the driving.

Phillip Island is a popular destination for those who like a day or two on the water, join a charter expedition departing from larger towns including Cowes, San Remo and Newhaven. Captain Ron does not control the weather. So when we say we had a PERFECT DAY with him, we laugh to think how nice the weather was. Ron is such a cool guy. He is super mellow, but a great conversationalist. He taught us a lot about sailing and the local archipeligo. Can't recommend him enough.

This review is 3 years late but I remember our experience like it was yesterday! This experience was outstanding! The captain made everything great! We booked this during the time of the pandemic where there were lots of limitations with many people being on the boat. He explained the rules, he was very considerate and he even let us stay on the boat an hour longer. It was for my friend’s birthday and was well worth it! Thank you again! Don’t hesitate to book!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Dave's boat -- the captain was wonderful and boat clean and spacious. We set sail from Fisherman's Terminal and enjoyed lovely music on the open deck, food and drinks. I had 15 guests and they all enjoyed every minute on the boat. The captain was very friendly and answered all our questions patiently! I will definitely rent a boat from Dave again for my next event!

What a fun day sailing around the orcas . Nat was an amazing sailing instructor and we loved learning about sailing and checking out the islands by water . Would highly recommend doing this - highlight of the trip .

Lots to learn of you're new at sailing. Great teacher. Guess over it until you get it. Did a wonderful job explaining everything. The who what when where and why's. Also gave us a great dinner ideas.

The 36.5m/119'9" 'Lady Victoria' motor yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship is available for charter for up to 8 guests in 4 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Chan and Mohney Architecture.

Built in 1991, Lady Victoria offers beautifully proportioned decks for exquisite indoor/outdoor living during a luxury yacht charter.

Guest Accommodation

Lady Victoria offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room. There are 5 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Lady Victoria is easy thanks to the available amenities, notably a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Performance & Range

Lady Victoria is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin MAN engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 4,200 nautical miles from her 43,680 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy endless days of fun on the water with the exceptional collection of water toys and accessories aboard Lady Victoria. Principle among these are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Additionally, there is a waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If you enjoy diving you'll appreciate the diving equipment and the PADI certified professionals on board. If that isn't enough Lady Victoria also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, inflatable water toys, kneeboards. Lady Victoria features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 4.88m/16' Novurania Tender to transport you in style.
