About The Food
Fontaine Pajot Astrea 42
By inventing the Astréa 42 , Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans reaffirms its ongoing commitment to build and innovate based on its experience. The Astréa 42 builds on the strengths that have made the Saona 47 so successful: its inverted bow stands out as the trademark of the series. This innovative feature sketches out an elegant and dynamic silhouette, while creating stunning volumes inside the boat in spite of a relatively small overall size, with a mere 12.58 metres in length.
The Dufour 52 combines the thrill of monohull sailing with the comfort and luxurious of catamaran living. The spacious Dufour 52 has four guest cabins and two crew bunks, with a beautiful lounge and plenty of outdoor living.
The BALI 4.3 is characterized by having a single area for the cockpit and the saloon with a 30 m² open space on a single level, entirely free of bulkheads, and accessed by a huge glass door which is entirely retractable on electric struts. With that, the saloon becomes a terrace with a sea view in a flash.

Nantucket (Massachusetts, US) is a destination that changes with the seasons and the hour, from an inviting snow-covered wonderland in the winter to moody fog-lined shores in the summer that vanish in the midday sun. As such, this island in New England , America is a desirable destination for photographers, artists and nature lovers.
Visitors are never at a loss for what to do in Nantucket because there are numerous events and local attractions in town, as well as the gorgeous beaches to be found in every direction: The north side has plenty of family-friendly options within the tranquil bay, while the outer side has wilder conditions for adrenaline seekers and wind-powered water sports. The island's past as a whaling hub gives holidaymakers the chance to explore another era, whether walking down the streets lined with old-fashioned buildings or absorbing the exhibits in the many museums. Today, the mincke whales, humpbacks and finbacks are only watched by onlookers and left to migrate peacefully through the seas. There are also sea turtles, dolphins and basking sharks in the water, which snorkelers and Scuba divers can see up close as they dive the surrounding wrecks.
Compared to Martha's Vineyard there are far fewer ferries providing access from mainland ports, and when these vessels are booked up months in advance some are unsure how to get to Nantucket. However there is a regional airport for easy flights onto the island, a Nantucket ferry that crosses between the island and Martha's Vineyard during the busy summer months, and luxury yacht charters can commence at an alternative mainland port to avoid any complications whatsoever.
Five quick reasons to visit Nantucket
Long stretches of sandy coastline, Unique luxury boutiques, Great summer entertainments, Captivating maritime history, Stunning scenery
More about this part of the United States
Nantucket, Massachusetts is part of New England, a region popular for luxury yacht charters in the United States due to the plethora of picturesque lighthouses along long stretches of sandy coast and sea conditions ideal for surfing and wind-powered water toys. It also offers fantastic fishing and Scuba diving opportunities, plus plenty of galleries, museums, breweries and trails to fill a week-long itinerary.
Nantucket Island along the eastern coast of the United States of America is a popular summer destination for its long stretches of scenic sandy coastline and rich maritime history: The main settlement is packed with unique luxury shopping opportunities, museums dedicated to Nantucket's past as a whaling hub, and a bustling nightlife after sundown.
Martha's Vineyard to the west and Cape Cod to the north are two other popular spots to include on a luxury yacht charter, providing even more beaches, impressive cliffs and verdant hills for picture-perfect holiday snaps. Cape Cod in particular has a plethora of art galleries for groups looking for contemporary culture and a cherished souvenir. Farther north, the coast of Maine beckons, famous for its lobster and maple syrup as well as the Acadia National Park.
When it comes to water sports, there is endless opportunity to get out toys like jet skis or kayaks to explore along the coast, while guests who want to relax on board have fishing equipment to catch their lunch or dinner straight from the sea. The region is renowned for wrecks and Scuba diving enthusiasts will have hours of fun getting up close to the curious sea life as well as Massachusetts's sunken history.
Nantucket Yacht Charter Experiences
A luxury yacht charter is the perfect way to experience Nantucket Island: You can wake up to stunning sandy beaches in remote locations, or visit the busiest spots and leave before anyone else arrives. Use your Captain's knowledge of the region to go whale watching, Scuba diving or fishing in the bountiful seas, then return to Nantucket for the galleries, museums and shopping close to the waterfront before an evening enjoying the local nightlife or partying back on board your vessel.
Nantucket hosts a Wine & Food Festival at the start of summer, the Nantucket Film Festival takes place at the height of the season and various local events take place throughout the year which can be incorporated into your itinerary based on your group's interests. Watch the 4th of July fireworks surrounded by historic houses down cobblestone streets.
Cruise to Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod at your leisure for even more stunning coastal scenery, picturesque lighthouses and hiking and biking trails for hours exploring in nature. At the end of each day, anchor in a quiet bay to fall asleep to the sounds of nature, and wake up to a freshly prepared breakfast and your water toys ready to go.
Things to Consider:

New England is a year-round destination, offering winter sports from December through to February and sunbathing weather from June to December.
The coldest period lasts roughly three months from December through to March, when temperatures can dip to -3°C/26°F and reach a high of 7°C/45°F. November and March are the wettest months with around 3.9 inches of rainfall. In contrast, summer is a warm 18°C/65°F rising to 24°C/75°F and is the driest season.
Sea temperatures reach a high of 21.9°C/69.1°F in June and July, while the lowest temperatures of 2°C/37°F occur between January and March.
Clothing to Pack For Your Charter:
Nantucket has a casual but conservative style in town whereas the dress code is more relaxed on the beaches. Temperatures in the summer are comfortable but can feel on the cool side on windy days and after sundown: It is recommended to take a jumper or windproof layer for the evenings, and visitors might want to change between shorts for the beach and trousers when in town.
For the winter months, guests should layer up and have a waterproof outer layer, particularly when close to the water or heading to the snowy mountains for skiing and other winter sports.
