I have used the Paddle Club at Kelowna Yacht Club for 3 years. The staff/service is amazing! I highly recommend both KYC and their Paddle Club!

if you like yoga, you should try "Yoga on the Dock Kelowna Yacht Club" Wednesday evenings. Great environment and knowledgable instructor. What a nice way to wrap up the day.

The Kelowna Yacht Club is a beautiful wedding venue with so much charm. Located on the share of the Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, the backdrop could not be more beautiful with a nautical feel, of course. The reception space is nice and open with large windows allowing for so much natural light and views of the lake and mountains. The food is great and the people are very accommodating. A great wedding venue!!

Beautiful location, good food, nice service. Brand new location for 2015 has opened with sweeping views of Lake Okanagan. Had the breakfast eggs Benedict which was reasonably priced; homemade potatoes, a nice Hollandaise, nicely presented on the plate. This is a huge improvement over the previous yacht club.

The staff at the yacht club are rude. Such as most of the members. I will never spend my time or money there

Photo of Brenda K.

The restaurant at the Yacht Club is only available to members and their guests. If you know someone that can get you access, it is a beautiful space for a relaxing meal. The food ranges from casual (hamburgers and sandwiches) to traditional entrees. It isn't a large selection but there should be enough choices to find something you like. My teenagers have had the yam fries with chipotle dip many times and believe they are tastier here than at most other restaurants. On my last visit I shared an arugula and tomato salad (yum) and a grilled vegetable and shrimp pasta dish (excellent). I didn't like the gluten free chocolate cake, but the molten lava cake is always good if you want chocolate. My daughter loved the cheese and fruit plate, which has a large assortment of items and is good for sharing - either after a meal or as a light snack. The view is wonderful from inside or outside, and the staff are friendly.

The options for parking in residential areas depends on your situation. Some residents have access to a private driveway or a parking stall in the garage of a condo/apartment building, while others need to park on the street or in off-street lots. In the absence of a posted (shorter) time limit, you can park on any City street or facility/lot for up to 24 hours.

There are six residential zones in Kelowna that have timed parking restrictions (one- or two-hours maximum) for on-street parking. These zones are in areas that attract large numbers of visitors. Residential parking permits allow drivers to park their vehicle in timed zones for up to 24 hours at a time.

Accessible Parking

APPLY FOR ACCESSIBLE PARKING PERMIT

There are accessible parking stalls located throughout the city that allow people with a permanent or temporary mobility impairment (based on a physician’s recommendation) to park closer to their destination.

You must apply for an accessible parking permit to park in an accessible stall. A map of accessible stalls in the city is displayed below. To access other accessible resources in the community, check out People In Motion’s comprehensive Online Accessibility Guide for the Central Okanagan .

Parking alternatives

Transportation options such as  accessing public transit , riding a bike or carpooling are great alternatives to parking. You can avoid looking for parking spaces and make a positive impact on the environment.

If three or more people at an organization purchase a monthly bus pass, you can sign up for the  ProPass Program to have the cost of those passes reduced.

Bike lockers located in several locations within the Downtown and South Pandosy areas are available for monthly rental.  For more information, contact Kelowna Parking at 250-862-8585 .
