Are meals and drinks provided during the charter?

Yes, meals and drinks are always included in your Big Blue Fiji charter, no matter if you choose a day trip or a multi-day adventure – from delicious breakfast spreads to light snacks and gourmet multi-course dinners prepared by our onboard chef. We also provide snacks and drinks such as water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee, including beers, local Fijian spirits, and a selection of imported wines to enhance your onboard experience.

What amenities are available on the catamaran?

Our catamaran is fully equipped with a variety of amenities to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. These include WiFi, flush toilets, and solar power. Plus, you can relax on plush cushions in the expansive lounge areas, or soak up the Fijian sunshine on our comfortable sun decks. For added comfort, we also provide fluffy towels, fresh linens, and basic toiletries.

What is the maximum number of guests allowed on the catamaran?

For overnight charters, the ‘Aparima’ can accommodate up to six guests in three queen-bed, en-suite cabins. For day charters, we can accommodate up to 20 guests on deck.

What is the best time of year to sail in Fiji?

We operate all year long, but the best time to sail in Fiji is during the dry season, from May to October. During these months, you’ll experience warm, sunny weather and calm seas, perfect for sailing and exploring the islands. You can still sail between November and April as lush landscapes and vibrant coral reefs thrive during the rainy season, however, expect occasional showers, with slightly higher humidity. But really, the choice is ultimately yours! No matter the season, Fiji is a paradise waiting to be explored.

Important note: The safety of our guests, crew, and vessel is our top priority. Charters are subject to wind, tide, weather conditions, and mechanical safety, and are operated at the sole discretion of Luxury Yacht Charters (Fiji) Pte Limited (trading as Big Blue Fiji) and Grand Bleu (Fiji) PTE Limited. In the unlikely event of a weather-related cancellation, we will do our best to reschedule to the closest available date. SNORKELLING

Exclusive Charter or join our mixed group Coral Explorer Day Sail and be amazed by the abundant fish life and live coral reefs of the southern Mamanuca Islands. From the deep ocean passes to sheltered coral gardens and sand quays, we have options for all areas of interest and ability. Feel safe with one of our snorkel guides, and explore our amazing underwater world! Our high-quality snorkel equipment is provided free of charge and sanitised after each use. BYO snorkel equipment is also welcome.

Exclusive Charter our fishing vessel Zigzag and head out wide in search of the big game! Or maybe spend a couple of hours casting off the reef edges and a little bottom fishing? Just let us know what you want to do and we’ll put together an awesome fishing experience.

Coral Explorer full-day Sailing & Snorkelling

Departs port denarau marina at 9.30am.

Our day starts at Port Denarau, the exciting central hub for marine activity in Fiji. Once we are all aboard we can drop the lines, hoist the sails and leave the busy mainland for your ultimate Fijian day out on the water. 

Relax on Wanaka’s spacious decks or under the sunshade as we glide effortlessly over the aquamarine waters towards the magical islands of Malolo, Tavarua, Namotu, and the outer reefs. Keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, flying fish, and seabirds along the way.



We aim for two snorkel stops during the day which is decided by the boat captain to take the best advantage of prevailing wind and tide conditions. Our most popular spots are Sunflower Reef, The Pinnacle, and Malolo sand quay. The abundant fish life, live corals, and clear water makes for an amazing snorkelling experience. From first-timers to veteran divers, our crew will ensure everyone has the best and safest experience possible.



The Coral Explorer Day Sail package includes lunch at the Bistro Restaurant at Musket Cove Island Resort. Pre-order at check-in and enjoy the culinary delights of the island chefs. Check out the full menu here. Try a pina colada or mojito from the bar or relax on the beach before heading out for the second snorkel. Time on the island is generally 1hr30min. (Drinks on the Island are not included in the package price).

With the South East trade wind filling in it’s time to weigh anchor, hoist the sails and again experience the magic of the wind on the sails as we head back towards Port Denarau. If conditions permit the crew is happy to let you try your hand at steering the boat or trimming the sails.

This is a “mixed group” cruise. Minimum 8pax, Maximum 20pax. Please also enquire about a private charter.

Things to bring: Swimwear & towel, sunscreen & hat, camera & light sweater for windy or cool days. Snorkeling equipment is provided but you are also welcome to bring your own. Water refill stations at the office and onboard.

"Day Trip To Paradise"

We booked this through the tour guide located at the hotel and were not disappointed. We had 4 adults and 2 kids (4 and 5). We were picked up from the hotel and were off sailing on the catamaran in no time. Had a snorkeling session then hit the beautiful Musket Cove. What a place, simply stunning. After a fantastic BBQ lunch, we then headed to a sand bar out in the middle of the ocean for some more snorkelling or simply walking along the bar.

The crew were a great bunch of lads and the whole family had a fantastic day. Cheers guys.

"Ask For This Tour!"

After much probing and several visits to tour guides we were given a brochure to this tour group. I am thrilled we did it although a bit pricy it was so worth it! Pick up form hotel driven down to the prt , leave around 9 on the catamaran for an hour plus sail our to the reef to snorkel. The boat crew are fantastic, BYO as a tip, and load up on the sunscreen -SPF 50+ you get roasted! Snorkel gear, guides, life vests , flippers all provided. After the 1st snorkel we headed to Musket cove (next to Plantation island) for lunch a bit of exploring swimming, a cocktail or two. Then it's off to sand var island for the second snorkel, and then home. It was a fantastic day out on the water got to meet a few other lovely people (max of 30 on the boat which is great) and the crew were amazing with the kids teaching them how to make things with palm leaves. Really wonderful experience!! Highly recommend.

"Awesome and Friendly"

We traveled with our 3 kids (13, 12 & 7 year old) and we all enjoyed this trip. The crew were very relaxed and friendly. It was a small group so it was easy to interact with everyone. They genuinely wanted to make us happy and went out of their way. A girl on board was celebrating her 16th birthday so they organised for a cake, it was great.

The views from Musket Cove were incredible and I'm glad we stopped there. Then we went on to more snorkeling and again, God's creation was not disappointing. It was a GREAT day and the kids loved it. Would highly recommend.

Getting There

Your Fiji yacht charter will begin at the marina not far from Nadi International Airport, Fiji's main international gateway on the west coast of the main island of Viti Levu. It serves around 1.3 million international passengers each year and acts as a hub to 14 other smaller airports around the archipelago.

Nadi is the home base of Air Pacific, Fiji's national airline, which provides flights to Japan, the US, Australia, New Zealand and other South Pacific islands. Other international airlines offering regular flights include Air New Zealand, Qantas and Korean Air.

Nadi is also the tourism hub of Fiji, with a range of activities, resorts, shopping, bars and restaurants within reach. Just 20 minutes drive from the airport is the Port of Denarau Marina, where you'll start your charter towards the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands.

How many amazing, white sandy beaches can you pack into one holiday? You will find out when you cruise this fantastic duo of island groups, arranged in one long archipelago off the west coast of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island.

The Mamanuca Islands are the first you'll see – long sandy beaches with unlimited palm trees, sparkling clear water and coral reefs you last saw on a picture postcard.

The full range of water sports is available as you cruise north, including game fishing, diving and snorkelling, parasailing, windsurfing, jet skiing and surfing. You can find them all in the various island resorts, so get your adrenaline pumping and try something new and exciting!

If you are feeling really adventurous, you can start from further afield, but relocation fees will apply. As you travel further north, the tourists start to disappear as the islands of Waya and Wayasewa approach and you enter the Yasawa Islands. This more remote island group consists of a chain of about 20 ancient volcanic islands stretching for 80 km, several of which have dramatic cliffs climbing to hundreds of metres above sea level.

The Yasawa Islands give you the amazing scenic combination of dramatic volcanic peaks, white sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons. You also get the more traditional Fijian way of life, unaffected by commercial tourism in any way. Here you can forget about work, the office and leave all your worries behind as the warm breeze, golden sun and relaxed vibes will have you smiling all day and night!

The Northern Islands, Vanua Levu and Taveuni are the more unexplored part of Fiji, with virtually no impact of tourism to be seen on the beaches, islands or the people and their local customs. In fact, a yacht is often the only way to visit many of the remote islands and villages.

Charters could start from the town of Savusavu on Vanua Levu, with typical destinations being Koro Island, Taveuni or the Ringold Isles. True peace and tranquillity can be found all around this area.

Fiji Climate and Weather

The climate is typically tropical marine, with little temperature variation throughout the year. Southeast trade winds tend to prevail between May and October, bringing slightly cooler temperatures. The rainy season is from late December to early March and is characterised by heavy but brief local showers. However, most of the rain is driven by topography, not seasons, with the mountainous regions getting by far most of the rain. Even in the cooler season, the temperature remains around 22 degrees.

Scuba Diving and Snorkelling

Fiji is a paradise for diving enthusiasts, with many world-class snorkelling and diving sites to be found throughout the 300 islands. A massive variety of tropical fish can be found, as well as reef sharks, manta rays, turtles and dolphins. Hop off the back of your yacht and delve underneath the water to explore the unknown! 

The water temperature is constantly warm, and visibility often more than 50 metres. Many of the Mamanuca Island resorts will offer lessons. If you are interested in scuba diving on your holiday, please enquire with your broker when you are arranging your charter.

Fijian Cuisine

Largely due to its multicultural history, Fijian cuisine today is an amazing mix of Indian, Chinese, Western and Polynesian influences. Common ingredients include yam, cassava, breadfruit and taro root, with meats such as beef, pork and poultry being a staple of this complex mixture. Of course, seafood is also a local favorite.

As a group of 4 people we were with Ron on a 5 nights trip. We've had the best time! Ron is a very experienced skipper. So in any situation he is cool, calm and collected. The boat is perfect for 4 people. Ron was also our cook on this trip and prepared very delicious meals. Even baked cake! And we didn't have to do anything and could thereby enjoy every minute. The Freewind is a sailboat and so naturally space is limited. This applies e.g. to the restroom, changing clothes and climbing on deck within confined spaces. Thank you Ron for a wonderful time around the Mananucas and Yasavas!

Our 2-day trip with Ron was spectacular. We are a sailing family from San Francisco (2 adults, a teenager and elementary schooler), that did a 2-day stopover in Fiji on the way to New Zealand. We had two days of unabated paradise on Freewind with Ron. He took us to the most incredible deserted beaches we’ve ever seen, on Mana Island, and spent hours there. He is among the best sailors I’ve ever seen as he single-handed his 46 foot sloop, you are in the safest seaman’s hands with him. He feeds you 3 homemade scrumptious meals a day. He is ever so considerate, crafting the itinerary around your preferences, and ensuring your kids have chocolate milk and smoothies to keep them cool and happy! We’ve sailed all over the world, both bareboat and skippered charters, and can say he is the very best - he is the most experienced sailor we’ve ever sailed with. He is also a man of real humility despite his incredible experience of multiple ocean passages and local knowledge - and his demeanor is one of which a family seems extremely comfortable staying with. If you are even considering taking a trip with Ron, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it!

We had an amazing trip around the Mamanucas with Ron. Fiji has over 300+ islands and a sail boat is the best way! Ron to us to visit the outer reefs for amazing snorkeling, Castaway island where the movie was filmed and much more. Ron cooked all the meals which we ate on boat and my family enjoyed the 2 nights/ 3 day cruise.

We stayed on Ron’s boat for 1 night and 2 days! There were 7 of us and it was brilliant the whole time! His food was amazing and Ron was super friendly! We got to sea great snorkelling spots and we were able to go to resorts on islands who happily welcomed us! I highly recommend for any large groups who want to travel the Fijian islands effortlessly!

My husband and I spent 6 days with Ron and Joti and had a wonderful time. It was so great to have Joti aboard and to hear about her growing up in Fiji and all the things she showed and taught us. Ron is truly and expert sailor and we felt completely at ease everywhere we went. They had planned daily activities for us to experience each day. Archive of GUV Diploma Thesis is a catalog of theses, which allows to publish and provides support for the process involved in submitting and preparing thesis for defense.

This process consists of:

- entering the title of thesis to USOS system by Dean's Office,

- filling in information about the thesis (abstract, keywords, language of thesis) and uploading files with thesis by student,

- sending thesis to anti-plagiarism system by the supervisor,

- approving thesis and report of the results of the anti-plagiarism analysis by the supervisor,

- putting thesis on hold and sending to be corrected in case of mistakes or exceeded similarity coefficients,

- entering review by the supervisor and reviewers.

Dear Students, if you are unable to enter information about your thesis to APD system, please contact Dean's Office.

Both Universities are connected to the JSA anti-plagiarism system, unfortunately we cannot transfer data to JSA from both universities at the same time, therefore the days in which it will be possible to check the thesis and accept the anti-plagiarism result for each institution have been divided:

It is a scientific journal created in 2004 at the initiative of the staff of the Faculty of Political Sciences at the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk. Since 1 October 2019, in connection with the inclusion of the AH in the Vistula University in Warsaw, it has been published by the Vistula University.

The publication aims to disseminate and popularise scientific and research work and to serve as a forum to present the most recent research results. The scientific articles published in the journal address social sciences, primarily the sciences of politics and administration.

‘Society and Politics’ is a journal open to the research staff and PhD students of the Vistula University as well as to authors representing other scientific centres.

By default, this method will search among all types of theses. If you'd like to search only in a limited subset of them, then try using some of the optional parameters. USOS API supports personalized search results . For example, it may display certain items higher in the results, based on personal user preferences and connections. You should include Access Tokens in your requests in order to make use of these features. For best results, you should also use the search_history_affect method. A code of the preferred language ("pl" or "en"). It may influence the order and other properties of the returned matches (in particular, the language used in the match field). Default value: items[thesis[id|type|title]|match]|next_page A selector of result fields you are interested in. The selector may contain any subset of fields, which are described in the returns section. Default value: (empty string) The search query. The most obvious value for this field is the thesis title, but we'll try to be smart about it. For example, we can also try to find theses by keywords, or by the names of their authors or supervisors, etc. Keep in mind that these extra searching features are not guaranteed to work in the future. Also note, that if you're searching by providing the author's name, then some results may be hidden, in accordance to user preferences. Only authors, supervisors and reviewers can see all the theses. Default value: all Pipe-separated list of thesis types among which to search. For the list of allowed values see the type field of the thesis method. An extra value of all can be used to indicate all available types (this is the default). Pipe-separated list of faculty IDs. If given, then the results will be limited to only those theses which have been submitted to one of the given faculties. Default value: 6 The number of search results to return. The maximum allowed value of num is 20. Default value: 0 Zero-based offset of the first item that should be included in the response. (Or, in other words, the number of items to strip from the beginning of the items-list.) Note, that currently no more than 100 items will be returned for any query, even if more than 100 matches were found. items - a list of items which have matched your query. The length of this list is limited to num items. You can access further results by specifying the start argument. This method aims at improving user experience while searching. Call this method once your user visits thesis' page, or when he/she selects a given thesis while searching for theses, etc. Given thesis will be added to search history (currently stored separately for each consumer key and each user). Items saved in search history may appear more frequently in search results. The ID of the thesis you want saved to the search history. Most of USOS entities have at most two names - in Polish and in English. However, theses may have as much as three different titles. This is the primary title. Other titles (in Polish and in English) can be found in the titles fields. titles - LangDict object. Polish and English names of the thesis; language - dictionary. Language of thesis. The dictionary currently contains these subfields: code - language code. Note that these codes are set internally by university. iso_code - language code, as specified in ISO 6391, or null if not set. authors - a list of thesis authors. Each element of this list is a services/users/user object. You can use a subfield selector to ask for specific user fields (the default is id|first_name|last_name ). supervisors - a list of thesis supervisors. faculty - the faculty to which this thesis has been submitted to. This an an object in the formated described in the services/fac/faculty method. You can use a subfield selector to ask for specific faculty fields (the default is id|name ). services/theses/user ¶ Get theses-related information on a given user. Visibility of the information may depend on the roles of your user, and scopes provided to you. ID of the user. authored_theses - the list of all theses authored by the user. A list of thesis objects, as defined in the thesis method. Use a subfield selector to access specific thesis fields. Note, that some theses may be hidden, in accordance to user preferences. Only authors, supervisors and reviewers can see all the theses. services/theses/users ¶ Get theses-related information on multiple users. This is very similar to the user method, but work with multiple users. Pipe-separated list of user IDs. Selector of result fields you are interested in. The selector may contain any subset of fields, which are described in the returns section of user method. A dictionary: your user_ids will be mapped to dictionary's keys, and each value will contain an object with user-related thesis data, as defined in the user method. I wish the university was more organised in these certain things because you could be a whole day within the line and not be able to resolve your issue. The university is heading on the right direction. Yes vista university could improve in organisation and communication but it does provide great opportunity for international students. The professors are also really interested in developing their students which is great in my opinion. The courses and lessons were academically enriching and engaging. The lesson plans were thoroughly thought out and delivered effectively and efficiently. However I feel the administrative side of things was more complex than should be. With one having to dedicate a whole day to achieve a goal as simple as getting a student Id sticker or even submitting documents. The long queues to the deans office and often unprofessional responses you received once it was finally your turn to speak to the deans office representatives made an otherwise enriched learning experience a terrible ordeal. In addition the schools choice to not call out the names of the graduating students in the up coming June 2023 graduation ceremony robs students of a vital university experience. I am overall disappointed with my experience at Vistula University. Hochschule Fresenius Vistula has been a great university so far and it isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. However, if you have any issues and you need to get papers in check for whatever reason good luck. I understand that there are many students with their own problems but the ticketing system is actually horrible and the queues are always full and with there only being select days where you can even go to the office and offices hours colliding with classes it is very difficult to get an appointment. In a span of six months, her mom and oldest brothers died, her husband faced a cardiac scare, and she underwent two surgeries. Her mentality suddenly shifted: She would stop taking life for granted, grinding every day at work, and wondering if she'd ever have time to see the world. "You know what?" Theriac, 53, a retired school teacher, recalled saying at the time to her husband. "Let's go for this big adventure and live life to the fullest." That mission drove Theriac and her husband of almost 30 years, 53-year-old Stephen Theriac, to purchase a cabin in March on a never-ending cruise, Villa Vie Odyssey . They bought the cabin just one week after learning about it in a YouTube video. "Sometimes, you just got to be adventurous and do it," Stephen, a retired deputy sheriff, told BI. Mikael Petterson, founder and CEO of Villa Vie, told BI in an email on Monday that Villa Vie Odyssey would embark "any day now." The 509-cabin residential cruise ship plans to circumnavigate the world every 3½ years, sailing to 147 countries and 425 destinations along the way. Petterson declined to provide a specific sail date, saying the ship is still waiting for "the green light from DNV . It's impossible to say which day exactly." DNV is a certification and risk assessment firm. Villa Vie Odyssey promises amenities like three restaurants, five bars and lounges, a pool, and a golf simulator. The ship's comprehensive itinerary is a dream for retirees like Angela and Stephen, who say cruising is a "big passion." The Odyssey cabin features twin beds and a vanity The couple has started decorating their floating condo with pillows, artwork, and "personal touches emphasizing storage," Angela said. "Our room is our bedroom, and the ship is our home." But there's a caveat — while they can spend their days aboard the ship, they're not yet allowed to stay overnight. The never-ending cruise was initially scheduled to set sail in May from Belfast, Ireland, following Villa Vie's acquisition of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines' more than 30-year-old Braemar vessel, now renamed Villa Vie Odyssey. However, Villa Vie has said issues like the aging ship's rudder stocks and recertification have since delayed its departure by three months. Like many other would-be Villa Vie residents, the Theriacs flew to Belfast for the initial springtime departure date. Since then, the couple said they've been staying at hotels — including some a flight away in Liverpool, UK, where they say the nightly cost is cheaper — and spending time on other cruises. Petterson said Florida-based Villa Vie has also been providing residents with shuttles to and from the ship, food, drinks, excursions, and lodging, or a daily per diem for those who "choose to do their own thing." But the couple has been patient and understanding of the delays — because, according to Stephen, "it's a now-or-never kind of thing." "We're still in pretty good health and financially fine," Stephen said, reflecting on the sight of "80-year-olds getting off Princess ships in walkers." "I don't want to be that old and try to see the world. I want to do it now while I can still enjoy it." Villa Vie would be the first ship of its kind in 22 years Villa Vie isn't the only startup that has faced difficulties while trying to launch a never-ending voyage. The residential cruise industry has been plagued by issues since the inauguration of The World, the only ship of this kind, in 2002. Since then, startups trying to launch floating condominiums have popped up as quickly as they've sunk — from Miray Cruises' Life at Sea Cruises , which shut down two weeks before its embarkation in November 2023, to Storylines , which has delayed its departure by seven years to 2026.
