How wonderful it really is to be sailing the Adriatic Sea and the 1000+ islands of Croatia is one of Europe's best-kept vacation secrets! There's no better way to explore the beauty of the region and live a true holiday adventure than by boat, and Navigare Yachting is here to help.

About our Location

Sail in Croatia from our base in Seget, just a 15 min drive from Split airport. Seget is located outside the historic fortress-town of Trogir. You may also sail from Dubrovnik if you wish to explore the south of Croatia or even set sails to Montenegro.

The highest season is from mid-June to mid-September. The shoulder season is a great time to sail as there is usually more wind at this time. Our bases in Croatia are closed from early November until mid-March.

Local Considerations

The currency in Croatia is the Euro (EUR).

Carefree Pack

Navigare Carefree includes damage waiver insurance/full coverage, welcome package, final cleaning, bed sheets & towels, dinghy, outboard engine & fuel, propane gas, full water tanks, and Wi-Fi.

Yacht Fuel is not included – the fuel tank will be full when your charter starts and you are responsible for topping off the fuel tank at the end of your charter. The price of the Carefree Pack varies by boat size and is a flat fee for bookings up to one week. A surcharge applies for bookings of 2+ weeks.

If we could interest you in one of our yachts, please send us an offer request via the online form (or via telephone or WhatsApp). We will contact you as soon as possible.

We will send you a binding offer with payment details by e-mail and provisionally reserve the yacht for a specific period of time. Before the expiration date, make a deposit of 50% by bank transfer. The yacht is then reserved and you will receive the booking confirmation.

4 weeks before the check-in date you pay the remaining 50% plus additional extras if chosen (if your request is already made within this period, you pay the full amount).

The deposit will only be reserved on site on the pick-up date via credit card (during the handover). Spontaneous extras can be paid for with a credit or debit card or in cash during the handover.

Sail with a Skipper in Montenegro

Skipper’s responsibilities

Skipper is in charge of the yacht’s navigation, mooring, anchoring and keeping the deck and cockpit of the yacht clean . He will always give his best to meet all charterers’ wishes as far as they are realistic and do not compromise with safety.

Accommodation

Skipper needs to have his own cabin so he can get enough rest for all his duties during the day.

Skipper does not cook . This is the responsibility of crew members, regardless if eating on board or dinning out. Crew members are baring the cost of food for the skipper.

Former Olympic cyclist Daniela Larreal Chirinos is dead after she choked on food in her Las Vegas apartment, reports Fox Sports and Spanish newspaper ABC . She was 50.

Police found the Venezuelan athlete deceased in her apartment on Friday, Aug. 16, after she was reported missing by her colleagues at a Las Vegas hotel when she failed to report to work on Monday, Aug. 12, a Fox Sports report translated from Spanish reads.

Although the Clark County Coroner’s Office told Fox News an official cause of death for Chirinosos is still pending, Fox Sports reported that police “concluded that the cause of death had been asphyxiation caused by solid food remains found in her trachea.”

PEOPLE reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County Coroner’s Office for comment on Chirinos’ death.

The Venezuela Olympic Committee posted a tribute to Chirinosos on X (formerly Twitter) on Aug. 16.

She was a five-time Olympian, having competed in Barcelona in 1992, Atlanta in 1996, Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004 and London in 2012.

Per Fox News, she was one of the most accomplished cyclists in her country and her best placement came in the Team Sprint final event in London, where she came in seventh. She was also a gold medalist in the Pan American Games and the Pan American Championships.

I Would Like to Be Having Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Summer

Working in the summer? No, thank you! Wouldn’t you rather be on a beach somewhere? Feeling the sand between your toes as you sip on a piña colada and eat fresh mango? Miley Cyrus didn’t create a whole (masterful) album called Endless Summer Vacation for nothing: The ultimate dream is to shut down shop and take all of August off like the Europeans do—and if I could, I would be spending it exactly like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

Hear me out. Earlier this week, the couple went viral when they were spotted tubing in the singer’s native Barbados—the ultimate summertime activity—while looking totally joyful and care-free. (You can be sure they weren’t thinking about work deadlines or looming projects.) Plus, you simply haven’t lived if you haven’t been hurled off an inflatable device while going 30 miles per hour! (I speak from experience: My dad drives a boat like a maniac.) Sign me up.

Then, just yesterday, the stylish stars were spotting hitting the beach—Rihanna in a saucy little Brat -green zebra dress, no less!—and carousing on a luxury yacht. Again, pure summer 2024 goals—and even better if you’re only a guest on the yacht, so you don’t have to pay for it (and the 20-person crew on deck to serve you overpriced champagne). While aboard, both A$AP and Rihanna were spotted whispering to each other in an intimate embrace , because it’s always better to have a romantic fling while you’re living your best life. Duh!

All of this is to say that Rihanna and A$AP have summer living totally figured out. They are living the summer we wish we were having, and the one we deserve. I am there in spirit. But, for now, I guess I will go and clean my apartment.
