St David: Captain Lee replaced on season 11 of Below Deck
Season 11 of hit reality TV Show Below Deck will return to screens on 5 February 2024, this time with Captain Kerry Titheradge taking over from Captain Lee’s slot. According to TV network Bravo, the series will this time be based around Grenada, where the superyacht crew will again set sail on the 60-metre Benetti motor yacht St David with a new captain at the helm.
The show is based around an eight-week charter season and is one of the network’s most highly-rated series. It will feature some familiar faces – including chief stew Fraser Olender and Ben Willoughby – as well as welcoming a new chef, Anthony Iracane, a French restaurateur from Miami. Overseeing the deck crew will be Bosun Jared Woodin, while Marie “Sunny” Marquis and Kyle Stillie will join as deckhands. New stews Cat Bough, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual will complete the crew.
First used in season 10, St David was the largest yacht in the show’s history and is one of a few in the series to use the yacht’s real name. Take a look inside...
Delivered in 2008 by Italian shipyard Benetti, St David is a full-custom yacht with both interior and exterior design from British studio Winch Design . She went on to become a finalist at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards , where the judges were impressed by her sleek, supercar-inspired profile.
At the time of her launch, she was the sixth-largest yacht in the Benetti fleet. She was last sold in 2018, with an asking price was €22,500,000. Morley Yachts is currently her Central Agency for charter, and she is currently on the charter market from €325,000 per week, plus expenses during low season and €345,000 per week plus expenses during high season.
The yacht is a historically popular charter yacht that has made appearances at a number of high-profile events, including the Cannes Film Festival. She has also ventured to off-the-beaten-path locations including the Seychelles, Red Sea and Abu Dhabi.
A classic Baroque theme characterises St David ’s social spaces, with intricate marquetry made from satin woods and a skylounge area that draws inspiration from a ‘Tuscan palazzo’, with its turquoise, white and gold mosaic floor.
One of the most notable features is an elegant spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. The sun deck itself is well-appointed, with sunloungers and a sunpad spread where guests can stretch out and relax. There is a shaded portion of deck which benefits from a casual dining arrangement and a spa pool bordered by more sunpads, which can also be fitted with an al fresco cinema screen.
Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, with a split-level master suite that lets in plenty of light.
In terms of toys, St David has expansive water toy facilities and storage, including scuba dive gear. She most recently refitted in 2021 and works included new interior and exterior fabrics, audiovisual upgrades and a new skylounge cinema. The watersports equipment has also seen a recent upgrade, with a new 7.2m tender, new Waverunners, and an electric foiling surfboard.
The news that Below Deck Season 11 will premiere on 5 February 2024 was announced during BravoCon in Las Vegas.

Meet the Below Deck season 10 cast: who's who in the Bravo series
It's time to meet the cast of the superyacht St. David.
It's time to set sail on the largest boat in Below Deck history! Below Deck season 10 features the massive 197-foot superyacht St. David with Captain Lee, the "Stud of the Sea" at the helm.
In the 10th season of the beloved Bravo franchise, the St. David calls the port of St. Lucia home. Captain Lee has two familiar faces with him this season in Chef Rachel Hargrove and Chief Stew Fraser Olender. Together they'll navigate a new crew.
Bravo has provided brief bios for the returning crew members as well as the newcomers. So let's get to know the cast of Below Deck season 10!
Captain Lee Rosbach
"Captain Harold Lee Rosbach has spent more than three decades in the yachting industry. Born and raised in landlocked Michigan, he discovered his untapped love for the water while managing restaurants in Turks & Caicos. It was then that an acquaintance invited him to serve as a mate on a sailboat delivery to earn extra cash. At 35, Lee obtained his captain's license and left the restaurant business behind to pursue his newfound passion. Since then, the Running Against The Tide author has commanded more than a dozen super yachts. Lovingly known as the 'Stud of the Sea,' Lee values the special bonds he forms on deck and always puts the safety of everyone on board above all else. Lee is excited to return to the Caribbean this season with familiar faces Chef Rachel Hargrove and Chief Stew Fraser Olender as he adjusts to new super yacht, St. David."
Rachel Hargrove, chef
"Originally from Tampa, Fla., Rachel Hargrove is a cosmopolitan yacht chef with an extensive repertoire of culinary skills. Although predominantly self-taught, Rachel attended the Culinary Institute of America and held an apprenticeship at the Michelin-starred restaurant Quatro Passi in Nerano, Italy. After spending time in Thailand, Japan, India and Italy to expand her craft, Rachel revels in her wide range of cuisines — from molecular gastronomy to gluten-free pasta, she is unphased by almost any charter guest preference sheet. A talented and experienced chef, Rachel admits her demanding professionalism can be polarizing to others. No matter their opinion, Rachel is always sure to stand her ground on deck."
Fraser Olender, chief stew
"With a passion for luxury hospitality and travel, it was a no-brainer for Fraser to join the yachting industry four years ago. He got his start on a motor yacht in Naples, Italy, and has never looked back. Prior to yachting, Fraser worked in commercial bookings for leading model agencies in London. In the off-season, he loves to travel to picturesque destinations, staying at the world's finest hotels with the dream to one day open his own. Returning to the Caribbean to work under Captain Lee again, Fraser is thrilled to be chief stew on St. David. However, when the charter guests get too demanding, he must prove his worth as a department lead."
Ross McHarg, bosun
"Leading the deck team this season is Bosun Ross McHarg. Originally from the UK, the British yachtie has spent the last 15 years living all over the world. Most recently, his travels have landed him in Asia, where he has set up base. Twelve years ago, Ross found yachting through teaching ski seasons in Europe and abandoned the snow for the sand without a second thought. With his love of travel and meeting new people, yachting was the perfect career move. A seasoned bosun, Ross brings experience and wisdom to his team, but his flirty ways get him in hot water with the crew."

Luis Antonio 'Tony' Duarte, deckhand
"Originally from Costa Rica, deckhand Luis Antonio 'Tony' Duarte is no stranger to the seas. An adrenaline junkie, Tony has experience as a dive master in South Africa, whale-watching guide in Costa Rica and a zip-liner in the Bahamas. When he's not working in beautiful, remote locations, Tony enjoys surfing, fishing and cliff jumping. A man of nomadic nature with a passion for travel, Tony adventures from place to place but is looking forward to calling St. David his home for the charter season. With prior experience on smaller boats, Tony welcomes the challenge aboard his first super yacht."
Ben Willoughby, deckhand
"Born and raised on the Gold Coast of Australia, deckhand Ben Willoughby is a self-described 'ocean child at heart.' Inspired by a childhood friend's yachtie lifestyle, Ben first took to the high seas in 2020 when he joined a mega yacht crew in France. Combining his passion for fitness with his love of the water, Ben has worked as both a deckhand and personal trainer on yachts for the past three years. A social guy who firmly believes 'a Pina Colada is always a good decision,' Ben is eager to bring the party onboard. This thrill-seeking Aussie is determined to stand out on the deck of the St. David."
Hayley De Sola Pinto, stew
"Hailing from Cornwall, England, charismatic new stew Hayley De Sola Pinto is excited to cruise the Caribbean waters. During most of the year, Hayley is an advanced aesthetics practitioner for her self-built business Classen Aesthetics. Her love of travel and meeting new people has led her to work on and off yachts since she was 23. With her humor and empathetic personality, Hayley specializes in making charter guests feel welcome and at home on St. David. However, her admittedly loud and over-the-top personality often gets her into the mix of drama onboard."
Katie Glaser, deckhand
"Deckhand Katie Glaser first fell in love with the glamorous and fast-paced yachting industry when she moved from Colorado to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Since starting her boating career as a stew three years ago, Katie has built an extensive resume as a deckhand and first mate on a variety of yachts. While Katie has worked in different corporate fields, including IT recruiting, account management and beverage sales, she has always had an affinity for the service industry. Katie spends nearly as much time in the water as she does on it, being a fan of snorkeling, wakeboarding and swimming. Always up for an adventure, this extroverted yachtie is eager to prove she has what it takes."
Alissa Humber, stew
"A born and bred Floridian, Alissa Humber found herself diving headfirst into yachting just over two years ago. Now residing in Miami, Alissa spends her time working as a stew on temporary yacht jobs. During the off season, Alissa loves to shop and is enamored by the gorgeous, colorful fashion in her city. She also embraces nature and enjoys kayaking or hiking in the Sunshine State. Working as a stew aboard St. David, Alissa prides herself on pleasing the charter guests and ensuring they have the best time onboard. However, when conflict emerges between her and another stew, tensions rise amongst the entire crew."
Camille Lamb, deckhand/stew
"Coming from a family of merchant mariners, boating has always been in Camille’s blood. With sailing experience since she was 9, Camille is a natural-born yachtie with a love for the water, the beach and traveling. An avid singer and songwriter as well, Camille competed on American Idol last year. Upon her elimination, Camille found herself lost and returned to her roots on the water. With just her sailing experience from childhood, Camille secured a position on a day-charter yacht in the Virgin Islands. Since then, Camille has had more formal yachting training under her belt with work experience in Miami and Los Angeles. Camille joins St. David this season working both on deck and inside the yacht as a deck/stew, but when she's split between the two departments, she loses motivation on board."
Below Deck season 10 airs on Mondays on Bravo, with new episodes streaming on Peacock the next day in the US and on Hayu in the UK.

The 164-footer was not only the backdrop for the reality series but also has hybrid propulsion and a "50 shades of white" interior., julia zaltzman, julia zaltzman's most recent stories.

The 164-foot motor yacht Home was Heesen’s first hybrid yacht when it delivered in 2017. It was also the first yacht to combine hybrid propulsion with a Fast Displacement Hull Shape (FDHF), which is proven to outperform conventional hull forms at all speeds. Built in lightweight aluminum, Home delivers 48 percent more fuel efficiency than other yachts of the same size.
Another perk of the hybrid propulsion package is reduced noise and vibration. Sensory expert Barry Smith, founder of the Centre for the Study of the Senses, discovered that the enjoyment of fine dining and wine while cruising in electric mode is significantly enhanced.
“Our research has shown that the brain’s processing of taste is affected by noise, which reduces the tongue’s ability to detect salt, sweet and sour,” says Smith. “The beauty of Home is the ability to run at a sound of around 46 decibels—the sound level of softly falling rain—enabling those on board to enjoy food and drink with no diminution of taste.”
Home began as a speculation build by the shipyard, before the American owner stepped in to the project. The initial interior was not to his liking, so he engaged Italian designer Cristiano Gatto to rework the design. He mandated simplicity, rather than minimalism. He also requested decor inspired by his residences, reflecting their contemporary Ibiza style. One perfect example: The slinky metal chaise lounge in the main salon by Italian designer Franco Poli.
Here are 10 facts about one of the world’s first hybrid yachts.
Star of the Med
Home ’s fortune took a sharp turn in 2022 when it became the star of the seventh season of Below Deck Mediterranean . Filmed in Malta, the reality series followed its crew over an eight-week charter season, with Captain Sandy Yawn at the helm. Unlike most yachts on Below Deck, Home retained its real name on screen. It was the first diesel-electric motor yacht to appear on the show, and in typical style, the producers added a dancing pole to the sundeck to spice up the onboard antics.
50 Shades of White
Home takes the trend for neutral interiors to a whole new level. Alongside a color palette of black and gray with pops of deep red, the yacht features 50 shades of white, from off-white to ivory. The original owner mandated an interior that gave him a “home away from home”—hence the yacht’s name. Low-slung sofas and bespoke loose furniture create a relaxed and welcoming beach club ambience. The vessel’s teak flooring and full-height glass windows blur the distinction between inside and out.
Party Lounge
One of Heesen’s signature areas is an upper-deck sky lounge. Home ’s casual bean bags, daybeds, and stark-white bar with LED strip lighting provide a natural extension to the alfresco dining terrace. When the doors to the aft deck are shut and the furniture removed, a mirror ball and a smoke machine are added turning the area into a dedicated party room for nighttime use.
A Dreamier Shade of Pale
Full-height windows in the full-beam, main deck owner’s suite bounce natural light off the paler-than-pale color scheme. The off-white bed, rug, walls, and ceiling are offset with a sky-blue bed throw. There is a dressing room, an en suite with shower and a private office. There’s also a full-beam VIP cabin on the lower deck, as well as two double cabins and two twin cabins to accommodate 12 guests, including families.
Moody Sundeck
Home ’s sundeck is the hub of the boat. There are sun lounges forward with privacy glass safety screens to shelter guests from sea spray and wind. Beneath the hardtop bimini is a large sit-up bar and lounge area, which also doubles as an outdoor dining area. The bar lights up in soft pastel shades at night to bring the party atmosphere. Aft is a Jacuzzi, while a projector and a screen set-up transform the deck into an outdoor cinema.
On the Nose
The yacht is easily spotted on the horizon, thanks to its distinctive plumb bow. The vertical front increases Home ’s waterline length, helping it to slice through waves and lift in rougher water. It guarantees a smoother and faster ride for guests, as well as creating more room on the interior for crew accommodations. For a more immersive journey, a telescopic seat on the foredeck rises from the bow for 360-degree views.
Sea Terrace
A central staircase on the main deck aft leads down to an oversized swim platform that doubles as a sea-level sun lounge. With plenty of room for daybeds and sunrise yoga sessions, it’s the perfect waterside hang out.
The Athletic Club
The lower-deck gym is a full-beam, air-conditioned space for guests to sweat it out. It’s kitted out with a range of equipment, including a workout bench, Techno Gym dumbbells, an exercise bike, and a rowing machine. When guests are done with their workout, they’re just a few steps from the sea for the ultimate plunge to cool off.
The Electric Package
The twin 805 hp MTU engines (smaller than those typically fitted on a yacht of this size) can be operated in four different cruising modes: hybrid (with noise levels in the owner’s stateroom measuring as low as 46 decibels), economic, cruising (consuming as little as 12 gallons per hour at 9 knots), and boost, which pushes the boat to a top speed of 16.8 knots.
Fast, Efficient Hull
At the time of launch, Home was the first yacht to combine the super efficiency of an FDHF hull, designed by Van Oosenan Naval Architects, with hybrid propulsion. The combination was celebrated with a RINA green award presented by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The Big Picture
- Trying to get on Below Deck Mediterranean comes with a hefty price tag.
- Guests on the show pay a discounted rate, but still shell out over $8,000 each to be on the boat.
- The $65,000 price tag for the show is a steal compared to the usual cost of chartering a yacht, which can reach up to $200,000.
Trying to be on a Bravo show is a goal for many viewers and, if you have money, it might be an easier goal to obtain. One of the top shows on the network is Below Deck Mediterranean and, if you can afford it, you can worm your way into a spot on the series. But only as a guest, and you have to pay a pretty penny to make it happen.
The premise of the show is to see the crew of Below Deck Mediterranean working on a ship together and taking care of guests when aboard the ship. But, according to Bravo's website, the series seemingly has guests paying less than what they normally would. The casting for the show states that those "guests" are paying a discounted rate to take a journey. The site says that the crew are serving guests paying "a highly discounted rate of what the normal charter fee." And when you hear how much they're paying, it will make you wonder how much a real charter fee is.
Now, your average day Bravo fan might not be able to just drop the amount of money it takes to be on Below Deck Mediterranean . According to a casting email obtained by The Things , each person is paying over $8,000 to be on the boat. That puts the total to charter the boat at $65,000. Again, how much is it normally to charter a boat if this is the discounted rate? With a tip of $15,000 total for the crew, that puts the grand total for each person at $8,125. Sorry, guys, we maybe won't be on Below Deck Mediterranean any time soon.
What Does the 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Price Tag Get You?
That $65,000 price tag is, sadly, not even a fraction of what this kind of get away typically costs, running you upwards of $175,000 to $200,000 to charter a boat. If you aren't the most elite of rich people, you might not find yourself on Below Deck Mediterranean any time soon. Reportedly, what this price tag includes for those wanting to be the next guest on Below Deck Mediterranean is the following: economy roundtrip airfare for everyone, two nights in a hotel, three days on a luxury yacht, a private chef, food and alcohol on the yacht, 24 hour service and all 'water toys.'
So with the $15,000 tip already included and knowing what the overall price tag could be to charter a yacht, it isn't the worst deal on the planet. You just have to have that much money just lying around.
Below Deck Mediterranean
In a luxury charter yacht traveling across the Mediterranean, crew members face both the challenges of managing upscale guest expectations and the complexities of their own interrelationships. Each episode highlights the high-octane world of yachting where exceptional service standards meet personal drama and adventure.

Below Deck Yachts
If you’ve never seen the show, it follows the crew of a luxury yacht during peak “charter season.” The original Below Deck, for example, showed off the glitz and glamour of the Caribbean, especially around St. Thomas, the British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. The Mediterranean spin-off, on the other hand, highlights European hotspots, including Italy, Spain and Croatia.
The show is undeniably a ton of fun. From the drama in the crew quarters, to the incredible beaches, the show provides an entertaining look behind the curtain.
Yet, the chartered superyachts are the real stars of the show. Each season, Below Deck features a truly stunning super yacht. All of them measure over 150 feet and are decked out in opulent features, staterooms and amenities. And here’s something you might not know: The majority of the Below Deck yachts are available for charter!
Below Deck Charter Yachts
Through five seasons, Below Deck has featured some of the most magnificent super yachts in the world. Some of the yachts have changed ownership since the show, been renamed, or have undergone a refitting. Yet, most look like they did from the show.
But beyond the name and maybe a few changes to the interior, there aren’t many differences. All of the water toys, Jacuzzis and stunning outdoor dining areas are what you’ll find on the yachts available for charter! So which charter yachts are available?
Season | Yacht | Real Name | Length | Charter Rate |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Honor | Lumiere | 163.8’ | From $175,000/week |
2 | Ohana | Rhino | 154’ | From $140,000/week |
3 | Eros | Mustang Sally | 161’ | Not Available |
4 | Valor | BG | 153.9’ | Not Available |
5 | Valor | BG | 153.9’ | Not Available |
Mediterranean 1 | Ionian Princess | Ionian Princess | 150’ | From €145,000/week |
Mediterranean 2 | Sirocco | Sirocco | 154.2′ | From €180,000/week |
Mediterranean 3 | Talisman Maiton | Talisman Maiton | 177.1′ | From €231,000/week |
Here’s a more detailed look at the yachts featured on the original Below Deck:
Honor – Season 1
Honor (which is now LUMIERE) kicked off the first season, and she put on a dazzling display. The yacht, originally built by Benetti in 1999, is one of the largest yachts ever featured on the show, and it was actually booked for a five-week charter for filming.
HONOR benefited from the new-found fame of the show. She sold after it aired for nearly $15 million, and the new owners completely refit her interiors and renamed the boat. Today, LUMIERE is a masterpiece of nautical engineering.
She features luxurious accommodations for up to 12 guests and an abundance of deck space, including a sprawling sun deck. The yacht also features a wide array of water toys (the slide was a struggle for the crew all season!).
Ohana – Season 2
Season 2 took the crew on a tour of the British Virgin Islands and featured some familiar faces. Captain Lee, Chef Ben, and Bosun Eddie were back, much to the pleasure of fans. Yet, the yacht was completely different.
OHANA (real name is RHINO) was featured on the second season, a stunning 154-footer, with beautiful decks, a horseshoe outdoor bar, and a stunning outdoor sun deck. After the show aired in 2014, Ohana underwent an extensive retrofit.
She now features an updated interior with a decidedly modern, airy vibe, as well as new hardware, including a state-of-the-art stabilization system.
Eros – Season 3
EROS took centerstage in Season 3, and the 161-foot yacht, originally built for the founder of Tim Hortons, was one of the most luxurious featured on the show. The beautiful tri-deck, featured a stately saloon, a sky lounge Jacuzzi, and sleek exterior styling.
EROS – which was sold prior to the third season – has since been renamed and was also remodeled. She’s now known as Mustang Sally, and unfortunately, this is one of the few Below Deck charter yachts that’s not available for charter.
Valor – Seasons 4 & 5
The stately VALOR was a fan favorite in Season 4 and 5. Built in 1990 by Dutch-based Feadship, the 154-foot VALOR featured a sprawling aft deck, perfect for sunset dinners and afternoon lounges. Plus, the ship – when featured on the show – had a range of water toys, including dual jet skis and a sleek, boutique hotel-inspired interior.
Like Mustang Sally, VALOR – which is now known as simply BG – isn’t available for charter. Yet, fans will always remember all the drama that took place on board.
Below Deck Mediterranean Yachts
Below Deck Mediterranean premiered in 2016, and through three seasons, the show has featured some of the Med’s best yachts. All of the yachts from the Mediterranean spin-off are available for charter, exactly how you see them on the show.
Ionian Princess – Season 1
Season 1 of Below Deck Mediterranean launched with a bang, featuring one of the strongest premieres for the franchise. Although there was plenty of drama throughout the season as the crew traveled around Greece, the beauty of IONIAN PRINCESS couldn’t be missed. The ship, which was originally built in the U.S. in 2005, featured a sleek, streamlined tri-deck design and gorgeous interiors.
The sun deck – where guests partied all season long – is one of the yacht’s star attractions, featuring a Jacuzzi with world-class views. Her interior, though, is one of the most stunning, featuring a chic design. The yacht also includes six cabins with accommodations for up to 12 guests.
Sirocco – Season 2
Season 2 took the crew to Croatia, aboard SIROCCO. The Dutch-built yacht originally launched in 2006, and thanks to its unique two-tone, third-deck exterior, she was remembered for her striking exterior. All of the yacht’s features made great TV. From her incredible sun deck, to the African chic interior, and all of the many water toys, SIROCCO’s impressive design and amenities stood out.
Today, she’s available for charter throughout the Mediterranean. A few unique features include a sun deck gym, an alfresco party deck, a theatre, and a wide array of water toys.
Talisman Maiton – Season 3
Named for an island in Thailand, TAILSMAN MAITON is a stunning tri-deck that cruises the pristine waters of Italy and all of the Mediterranean. The largest to ever be featured on the show, TAILSMAN is truly incredible.
The yacht accommodates 12 guests, in 6 beautifully appointed rooms. There’s a master suite, as well as 1 VIP stateroom, and four smaller cabins. The yacht was built in 2006, but most recently refit in 2016 with a timeless Art Deco aesthetic. The yacht also features a sundeck spa pool with a beautiful bar, a full-service gym, and an observation deck with panoramic views.
How Long Are the Below Deck Charters?
Here’s a little-known secret about Below Deck: The “charter season” on the show is just a few weeks. In fact, the yachts are actually booked for about six weeks, and their regular crews are sent home. In other words, the charters on Below Deck are actually a charter within a charter!
Each of the Below Deck charters last just a few days, and each episode features new charter guests.
Below Deck Yacht Rental Costs
Hiring a yacht from Below Deck isn’t cheap. The majority cost in the neighborhood of $150,000 per week. Yet, that charter rate doesn’t include expenses, including fuel, dockage fees, and taxes.
Yet, for that price, you’ll get a truly world-class experience. The crews of each of these yachts provide first-class service and all of the boats are fully loaded with amenities. There’s nothing quite like it in the world. And by hiring one of these superyachts, you’ll also have bragging rights for chartering a yacht featured on a TV show!

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
What happened to xandi olivier after below deck season 11, the golden bachelor: what gerry turner & theresa nist got in the divorce (did they have a prenup).
- Amy Poehler loves Below Deck and wants to join as a crew member, even joking about becoming the captain.
- She prefers Below Deck over reality shows without a purpose like Real Housewives because she enjoys the work aspect.
- Although Amy thinks she'd do poorly on Survivor, being a charter guest on Below Deck would be more likely.
Saturday Night Live 's Amy Poehler is such a big fan of Below Deck that she wants to join the Bravo reality show in a major crew member role. After leaving SNL , Amy went on to star on the NBC comedy Parks And Recreation . She is currently promoting the hit animated Pixar film Inside Out 2 , in which she voices the character Joy. Amy is not the only celebrity who loves watching Below Deck . Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Jennifer Lawrence, Christina Applegate and Anthony Mackie are just some of the many actors and TV personalities who watch Below Deck .
Amy Poehler loves watching Below Deck and wants to join the franchise.
While promoting Inside Out 2 , Amy discussed her love of reality TV, including Below Deck . While talking with Cosmopolitan UK , the SNL legend admitted that she wants to become a Below Deck cast member, specifically the captain . " It would be hard for me to not be the captain, but, again, I do not know how to drive a boat, so I feel like that would get in the way ," she sarcastically said. Amy added that she'd " fake it " for a couple of days before her inevitable firing.
Amy went into more detail about why she likes watching a show like Below Deck as opposed to other reality shows that focus on people's everyday lives. As she explained, " I like the job that everybody has to do. I care about whether or not they turn the boat over. I want to watch them clean the bathrooms and stuff. That's why I'm into ." Amy's not a fan of reality shows like the Real Housewives where there doesn't seem to be a purpose , according to her. " Everyone sits around and there's no job; they just go to dinner ," she added. " That gets me very stressed. "
Amy Poehler Thinks She’d Be Voted Off Survivor “Pretty Fast”
Amy poehler talks "in front" of people's backs instead of behind their backs.
While Amy believes she would be well-suited to a show like Below Deck , there's a different reality show she would likely fail at: Survivor . " I think I'd get voted off pretty fast ," she admitted. Amy explained that if she were on Survivor , she would be talking to people " in front of their back " instead of " behind their back ." Behavior like that would not go over well with Survivor players and would make her a target at Tribal Council. However, if Amy did get voted off of Survivor , she would " accept the tribe's word ."
It's unlikely that Amy will ever compete on Survivor , but appearing on Below Deck could be a strong possibility--just not as the captain. Below Deck is no stranger to featuring celebrities on the various yachts. Past charter guests have included American Idol 's Justin Guarini , The Bachelor 's Erica Rose, musician Roy Orbison Jr., baseball player Johnny Damon, journalist Jemele Hill, and Real Housewives stars Heather Gay, Cynthia Bailey and Jill Zarin. Clearly, Bravo cast members have a leg up when it comes to appearing on Below Deck as the vast majority of the celebrity guests are reality stars.
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
While there's no way Amy will be joining Below Deck as a cast member, Bravo should consider having her as a charter guest . Considering she's already a big fan of the franchise, it's unlikely she would turn down the opportunity. The network could also consider filming a comedic bit with her where a season of Below Deck kicks off with Amy at the helm of the yacht, then Captain Kerry or Sandy walks in, surprised to see her. Amy has a long-standing relationship with NBCUniversal, which produces Below Deck , so an appearance should happen at some point in the future.
Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

Why Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Needs To Happen
By Amy DeVore
Below Deck Down Under is returning for a Season 3, as announced at BravoCon last year. Looking back though, BDDU Season 1 began airing in March of 2022. The following year, Season 2 popped up in June. Now, if we are going by just these dates alone, then Season 3 should be lurking right around any dock’s corner.
However, zero trailers, news, or even any minor details on this series in the Below Deck franchise have dropped yet. So, what’s up, Bravo ? The absence of this offshoot is palpable in my life, which is why I, and likely many others, need this series to finally happen. But why do we need thee, Captain Jason Chambers ? Let me count thy ways now.
First off, Captain Jason himself wants to return
@captainjchambers Below Deck Down Under Season 3 HIT ME ONE MORE TIME -or 10 more. I think we can all say we can’t wait too long for another season @bravotv. It’s been a huge wait for us between seasons and I can’t thank the huge support hanging in there and waiting, too long between drinks I say. Well I’m proud to announce I HAVE NO IDEA EITHER. Let’s just join together and know that your support has confirmed another season and I’m sticking around waiting, because I love it…. Your support has given time with my daughter I lost during season 1, so big LOVE ❤️ #belowdeckdownunder #jackblack #bravotv #kungfupanda #fatherdaughter ♬ …Baby One More Time (from Kung Fu Panda 4) – Tenacious D
My loves, Captain Jason’s “loneliness is killin'” him right now. This emotional blood is on the network’s hands. And also, I volunteer as tribute. You know, for when the time comes to wipe his pretty little pointers clean.
Get in line , Amy. Aware. But also, let me live.
With a little help from Britney Spears , Jack Black, and also, his daughter, Captain Jason took to his socials. Here, he danced and lip-synced to Brit Brit, all to state that he too wants a Season 3, stat. As for his spoken words on this matter, he penned “Below Deck Down Under Season 3. HIT ME ONE MORE TIME – or 10 more. I think we can all say we can’t wait too long for another season @bravotv. It’s been a huge wait for us between seasons and I can’t thank the huge support hanging in there and waiting, too long between drinks I say.”
What our Captain Jason wants, our Captain Jason should get. For him, I hope that Bravo finds a way to make fetch BDDU happen soon.
The leadership on BDDU is phenomenal
Clearly, being a captain of a superyacht is no small feat. You have the lives of everyone on board to consider, as well as the structural integrity of the actual yacht itself. On these matters though, we’ve seen Captain Jason excel, time and time again. He isn’t afraid to lay down the law, and when he does so, he’s swift and firm, only addressing the facts at hand, and nothing more.
On top of protecting his crews physically, he’s also a solid mental health advocate. In Season 2, we can all likely recall his skilled abilities in shutting down two different sexual assault instances onboard. In each situation, he removed the problematic yachties and then offered his support to the victims. After such a dark, unsettling season, which was only brought back to the light via his epic leadership showings, a Season 3 needs to happen, but like, now.
BDDU’s filming locations are unique
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Below Deck (@belowdeckbravo)
Across the BD franchise, the various yachts typically travel to either the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. Obviously, all of these areas are stunning. But with Below Deck Down Under, we got to see new ports of call. Coming from someone who travels very little, because life is expensive AF, I lived for these new scenes entering my living room each week.
I thoroughly enjoyed couch-traveling to the colorful cays of the near-uninhabited Whitsunday Islands, in addition to finally seeing the Great Barrier Reef, located just off of the coast of Queensland’s shores. Likewise, the plants, birds, insects, and wildlife that are native to this area also caught my attention(s), which is hard to do, because I get distracted very, very easily.
Overall, the filming locations and sights were very unique on BDDU. This is just another reason why it needs to return, ASAP.
But also, curious minds need some answers
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jason Chambers (@captainjchambers)
For two seasons now, I’ve watched Captain Jason and his Chief Stew Aesha Scott evolve into one of my all-time favorite dream teams. Their wit and banter made this series great. But also, they both led so well together. It really seemed like this duo was locked down, and that they’d always be coming in hot and consistent as the staples for this series.
But then, Aesha jumped the yacht. She is now back on Below Deck Mediterranean , working underneath her original boss, Captain Sandy Yawn . Three cheers for this win for Captain Sandy. But where does this leave Captain Jason?
I have so many questions. Will Aesha still return? Can the network get away with letting her take the lead on two different series? Or, will Tumi Mhlongo switch back to BDDU, becoming one of Captain Jason’s crew members once again?
In an even wilder stretch of the imagination, Hannah Ferrier once said that she’d be open to making a return , but only if she were assigned to Captain Jason or Captain Lee Rosbach . Could we possibly now be getting a little “ June Captain Jason, Captain Jason, Hannah?”
Honestly, probably not. If you ask me, the most likely scenario is that Captain Jason’s now going to be partnered up with someone who’s brand new to this series. But, whoever this new leading stew is, will they be able to keep up the same fun, lighthearted momentum as Aesha? Also, if Aesha’s out, will anyone else who’s worked with Captain Jason still be in?
Come back, BDDU. You need to happen. For all of these reasons.
TELL US – DO YOU ALSO THINK THAT BDDU SEASON 3 NEEDS TO HAPPEN ASAP? WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING AGAIN IN THIS SERIES?
Amy is a former teacher who used reality television as a form of escapism during her decade spent in the classroom. In addition to education, she also studied improvisation and sketch writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC. Being able to combine reality tv and writing is chefs kiss. Therefore, you can find her here often, writing on all things Bravo.

- Chef Anthony works as a yacht chef post-Below Deck, despite being fired mid-season.
- He launched a snack company, Snacky Bae, in Florida and continues to pursue his culinary career.
- There's a possibility of Chef Anthony returning for Below Deck season 12, with Captain Kerry and Fraser supporting him.
Chef Anthony Iracane has been busy since his appearance on Below Deck season 11. Captain Kerry Titheradge hired him to work aboard the St. David. Going into Below Deck season 11 , Chef Anthony was a franchise newbie who needed to prove himself. There have been plenty of Below Deck chefs with huge egos , though he didn’t possess any vain. Chef Anthony’s behavior was erratic, but formed close friendships with his fellow crew members, especially Chief Stew Fraser Olender. While he meshed well with his co-workers, Chef Anthony was fired halfway through the charter season .
Captain Kerry terminated his employment because he couldn’t withstand the pressures of working on the superyacht. Chef Anthony began the season relatively strong, but his performance diminished as time continued. After Captain Kerry attended a dinner, he fired the chef. He and Bosun Jared Woodin were fired during Below Deck season 11. The Bosun was fired for similar reasons, as they buckled under the stressors of working on the superyacht and filming a reality show . He hasn’t given up on his career in the culinary field despite his sour ending on Below Deck .

Chef Anthony Still Works As A Yacht Chef
Hes grown as a chef since below deck.
Since Below Deck season 11, Chef Anthony has continued working as a yacht chef. On his Instagram, he teamed up with Worldwide Boat to promote an upcoming charter he was working on. In the video, the chef showed his followers around the galley aboard the superyacht where he was cooking. Despite being fired by Captain Kerry, Chef Anthony hasn’t given up on his career . Even though he had to leave Below Deck season 11, his captain encouraged him to gain more experience and perfect his craft, which he seems to be doing.
Came or not Im always myself and always want to make people happy and offer to each guest a unique experience.
Chef Anthony Started A Company
Snacky bae is coming soon.
Aside from cooking on superyachts, he’s starting his own company . In Chef Anthony ’s Instagram bio, he wrote that he’s the “ Founder of @snackybaeofficial ,” providing a link to another account for his new business. He described Snacky Bae as a “ French Sweet boutique coming soon ” in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm, Florida. It’s unclear what Chef Anthony’s new business will look like, but it’s seemingly his new snack company.
Chef Anthony's Journey On Below Deck
Chef anthony tried his best but was fired.
Chef Anthony had an interesting journey on Below Deck season 11. He was the first chef to work under Captain Kerry on the St. David and got along well with the crew. The French chef joined the show with four years of experience under his belt, per his bio on Bravo TV . He struggled with the isolation of working in the St. David’s galley by himself. Chef Anthony was an admitted perfectionist, which prohibited him from reaching his full potential. He didn’t prioritize time management and struggled to prepare meals on time.
Captain Kerry noticed Chef Anthony’s confidence was low . Instead of tearing the chef down, he tried to encourage him with positive affirmations. After their chat, his performance increased but faltered as the charter season continued. Chief Stew Fraser critiqued his organization after the galley was left a mess. Towards the end of his time on Below Deck season 11, he didn’t seem fully present. His fate was sealed after Captain Kerry attended a dinner and was underwhelmed with the dish he prepared.
My food is already cold. Theres obviously something going down in the galley, something going wrong.
The captain pulled him aside to break the news. Captain Kerry said Chef Anthony wasn’t “ flourishing ” on the St. David, and the guests weren’t “ satisfied with elements ” of his work . He explained that it wasn’t a personal decision and that he was an “ incredible chef .” Chief Stew Fraser, with whom Chef Anthony became good friends, reiterated the captain’s sentiments in a confessional interview. “ I'll love that boy forever. But right now, the job is more important, and he's not right for the job right now ,” said Fraser.
Will Chef Anthony Ever Return To Below Deck?
It's a possiblity.
With a newfound sense of confidence, Chef Anthony could return to Below Deck . Captain Kerry and Fraser were spotted filming Below Deck season 12 . Reddit user LostArtifact198W posted a picture of the rest of the suspected crew for the upcoming season, which seemingly featured Chef Anthony and his Below Deck season 11 co-star Kyle Stillie. Captain Kerry and Fraser took a liking to the chef. He wasn’t fired for behavioral issues, so there’s no reason he shouldn’t get another chance to excel as a chef on Below Deck .
Chef Anthony from Below Deck season 11 has been working on superyachts since. He formed a close friendship with Fraser, which may aid his potential return to the show for season 12. Chef Anthony has grown in his culinary career since Below Deck and hasn’t taken his firing to heart.
Below Deck seasons 1-11 are available to stream on Peacock.

Since Bravo’s Below Deck first aired in 2013, its popularity has grown exponentially with viewers drawn to the compelling upstairs/downstairs format that has served as a pivotal point for all the drama and antics taking place aboard the superyachts each season. The beautiful locations, meanwhile, have provided the perfect backdrop for every instalment of the show and its subsequent spin-off series.

From the paradisiacal islands of the Caribbean to the majestic snow-capped peaks of Norway , we take a closer look at the spectacular destinations the Below Deck yachts have visited since it first began.
The show’s inaugural season premiered in the Caribbean, which covered a number of superyacht hotspots in the region, kicking off the show in spectacular style from the charming Leeward Island of St Martin – which also provided the tropical setting for Below Deck season 5.
Since then, this glittering archipelago has featured in no less than four seasons of Below Deck , including the beautiful islands of St Kitts & Nevis (season 9) and Antigua (season 8) – the undisputed superyacht hub of the Caribbean.
Located between Puerto Rico and Dominica, the Leeward islands offer an intoxicating mix of sublime white sand beaches, glamorous 5-star resorts and stunning natural beauty, not to mention astonishing clear waters brimming with life, as well as an array of superb marinas, making this region ideal cruising territory for superyachts and their guests.
Featuring in season 2 of Bravo’s original reality series, the British Virgin Islands created a picture-perfect backdrop to the show, with the archipelago’s largest island of Tortola , as well as party island Jost van Dyke and the eternally exquisite Virgin Gorda, providing most of the glorious scenery.
Some of the highlights of a private yacht charter here include the BVI’s most famous landmark, The Baths in Virgin Gorda’s 7-acre National Park – a natural phenomenon of towering boulders and beautiful jade-green sea grottos, as well as the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar and Foxy’s – famous for its New Year's Eve parties on the island of Jost van Dyke, and Smuggler’s Cove – an instagram-worthy beach tucked away on Tortola’s west coast, featuring implausibly clear blue waters perfect for snorkeling.
Below Deck also returned to the Virgin islands for its 4th season, this time around the beautiful US Virgin Islands , including popular tourist hubs St Thomas , St Croix and the tranquil island of St John.
Season 10 of Below Deck centered around the alluring island of St Lucia , home to the majestic twin peaks of the Pitons that set off the stunning scenery for the reality show’s latest season.
Known as the “Jewel of the Windward Islands ”, St Lucia plays host to an array of idyllic beaches, picturesque harbors and chic restaurants. Her lush jungle-clad interior is awash with an abundance of tropical flora and fauna, offering a heady scent for anyone undertaking the popular hike up the island’s 3,000-foot Mount Gimie.
While not strictly part of the Caribbean, the Bahamas were the destination of choice for Below Deck 's season 3; a yacht paradise of pellucid turquoise waters teeming with life and tropical islands that have become a playground for the SuperyachtSet and A-listers looking to escape the winter blues.
In 2016, the first season of Below Deck Mediterranean graced our screens, where the show’s producers shrewdly opted to foreground Greece’s beautiful Cyclades archipelago for its inaugural season.
Home to the iconic blue-domed white-washed buildings that are synonymous with images of Greece, this group of islands has proved fertile cruising grounds for luxury yacht charters for years, whose guests come to immerse themselves in the islands’ rich cultural heritage, stunning beaches and breathtaking scenic beauty, not to mention the glamorous party scene.
Comprising a number of celebrated islands, including Mykonos and Santorini , yacht charter itineraries here are brimming with opportunities as the activities and sightseeing options are endless, and with each island only a stone's throw from each other, you can change your scenery at a moment’s notice.
Interestingly, a similar location decision was made for Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s premier season on board yacht PARSIFAL III , this time set around Greece’s Ionian island of Corfu .
The island’s natural beauty has been committed to celluloid several times over, featuring in a number of TV and films over the years, including James Bond’s For Your Eyes Only and the Bafta-nominated TV series The Durrell’s .
Corfu is part of Greece’s Ionian archipelago ; a chain of strikingly beautiful islands, characterized by lush mountainous interiors, dramatic coastlines, charming fishing villages, intriguing cultural heritage and some of the finest beaches in Greece.
One of the most popular destinations for superyacht charters in the East Mediterranean , Croatia is awash with ancient archaeological treasures, seriously beautiful landscapes and endless idyllic islands and islets peppered across the region, which is probably why this gem of the Adriatic has featured in 3 seasons of the Below Deck franchise; seasons 2 and 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean and season 2 of Below Deck Sailing yacht .
Boasting over 1,200 islands, glorious balmy climate and deeply rich history, not to mention low VAT rate compared with its West Mediterranean cousins, its small wonder Croatia is a superyacht paradise during the summer months and beyond.
The Below Deck yachts traveled to a number of popular hotspots within the region, including the UNESCO Heritage city of Dubrovnik , Croatia’s “jewel” Spilt and the beautiful Šibenik, as well as popping across its southern border to enjoy the facilities at the award-winning marina at Porto Montenegro .
Other Mediterranean destinations visited by yachts on the show include Italy's famous Amalfi Coast (season 3), the eternally glamorous French Riviera (season 4), the popular Spanish archipelago of the Balearics (season 5), and the historic splendor of Malta , which is the location for Below Deck Mediterranean ’s latest season 7 featuring the indomitable Captain Sandy Yawn on board superyacht HOME .
For seasons 6, Below Deck broke with tradition and headed to the South Pacific outpost of Tahiti , where filming took place on board superyacht STARSHIP (previously M/Y SEANNA) with the show’s stalwart Captain Lee Rosbach.
Set amongst a scattering of idyllic islands in the French Polynesia archipelago, Tahiti is that rare blend of paradisiacal beauty with a cosmopolitan twist courtesy of its rich cultural links with France as a protectorate of that country. Guests on yacht charters here can immerse themselves in the island's extraordinary blue-lagoon-like beauty while still able to enjoy the finest cuisine, boutique shopping and myriad excellent facilities offered by a host of luxury resorts.
Below Deck Season 7, meanwhile, continued with the tropical theme, this time foregrounding the unparalleled beauty of Thailand , with Ao Po Grand Marina in Phuket providing the home port for motor yacht BG (previously VALOR) during the show.
Filming took place around the beautiful islands of the Andaman Sea, including Phang Nga Bay , home to 100 islands and a wealth of majestic limestone karsts, including Koh Ta-pu – one of Thailand’s most famous landmarks that appeared in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun . Soaring 20 meters above the water, the tall vertical rock can be taken in from the sandy shores of Koh Phing Ghan.
Other notable filming locations include the famous Phi Phi Islands , home to Maya Bay – the idyllic setting for the 1999 film The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Ko Poda island renowned for its vast stretches of powder-fine sand beaches and excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities.
The latest Below Deck iterations; Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck Adventure, have broken the mold yet further with adrenalin-fuelled adventures adding to the mix.
Below Deck Down Under is set in Australia’s sublime Whitsundays ; a heavenly cluster of islands located 34 miles off the coast of Queensland. Characterized by its array of dreamy islands fringed by white sands and intense turquoise-blue waters that form part of the Great Barrier Reef – one of the world’s seven natural wonders – this region offers prime cruising grounds for luxury yacht rentals.
Meanwhile Below Deck Adventure is set in the sub-Arctic wilderness of Norway , where the setting of glacial fjords and majestic mountain peaks form part of the show’s action, with guests partaking in a series of high-octane thrills and spills throughout the season.
Norway is fast becoming a hotspot for superyachts eschewing the usual Mediterranean and Caribbean destinations for the more unique experiences on offer in this beautiful part of the world. Renowned for its dramatic scenery, sheer raw beauty, michelin-star dining experiences and the iconic Northern Lights , luxury yacht charters around this Scandinavian region promise to be nothing short of magical.
