The tour...

Columbia reef & el cielo.

Your adventure starts heading out to the spectacular Columbia Reef for a guided snorkelling activity to take in the amazing corals and tropical fish that Cozumel is known for.

After, you’ll visit El Cielo (“Heaven”), which provides sanctuary for hundreds of brightly coloured starfish. Due to it’s unique location, the water is shallow (~8ft or 2m) and nearly always crystal clear.

This is also nearby to El Cielito…

The not-so-little brother of El Cielo, with equally stunning blues, white sand beach, and water shallow enough to stand.

The fun doesn’t end here; you’ll then head to the Playa Mia Grand Beach park – enjoying a variety of refreshing drinks and cocktails from the open bar along the way…

All aboard...

The AquaDream catamaran is fully equipped with safety features, powerful well-maintained engines, and staffed by experienced crew. We depart from the Cozumel Ferry Terminal (Muelle Fiscal) at 11AM each morning. We recommend you arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled departure time to get checked-in and comfortably on board.

Please don’t bring your own food, or any glass containers. Only certified coral-safe sunscreen is allowed; please help us to conserve the delicate reef ecosystem.

Not recommended for people with back problems, heart conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, breathing conditions, or other cardivascular conditions. If in doubt, consult a medical professional before booking.

For the Cozumel Catamaran Marine Park Snorkel, El Cielo, and Beach Club Excursion, you will meet directly at the beach club (approximate taxi cost is $13.00 USD for a cab of 4 people, per taxi). All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age for snorkeling is 5 years.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
• Guests under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate in water sports activities for their own safety.

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email [email protected] within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Full Refund are accepted at least 24 hours in advance of the start date/time of the experience.

In the event the experience is cancelled due bad weather conditions, the Customers will be offered an Alternative Date or a Full Refund.

For the participants traveling on board a cruise ship, if the cruise misses the port, their tickets will be cancelled and refunded in full.  If the cruise ship changes the arrival date, the tour will be re-scheduled for the new date.

For our cruise ship passengers, Cozumel is the next stop after Mahahual, the Costa Maya. You can rent a catamaran charter boat in Cozumel with us and go explore the Island. We offer private snorkeling tours and public day sailing charter in Cozumel. Catamaran rentals start at $1800 USD for 4 hours of luxury sailing in Cozumel. 

We depart out of the Marina Fonator which is located about 10  to 15 min south of the cruise stop locations. 

 F ROM PLAYA DEL CARMEN VIA FERRY TO THE ISLAND 

 From Playa Del Carmen you must take the 8:00 am ferry to Cozumel. They leave on the hour. The fare varies but it is about $400 pesos mxn round trip. You can find ferry information: ULTRAMAR  . At arrival you will take a taxi to the meet up point of the boat you choose. 

We provide directions and all arrival information with your  sailing confirmation data.

RESTRICTIONS: Maximum weight is 250 lbs. (113 Kg.) per person. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory . Maximum age to do snorkeling is 70 years old. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate. All guests must be proficient swimmers, in good health and self-sufficient. Participants must be able to descend boat ladders for snorkeling activity. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, guests with diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, cardiac conditions, respiratory/lung conditions, high blood pressure, or back/neck injuries. Guests will need to sign a release at check-in certifying none of these conditions are present before being allowed on the tour. For the safety of all passengers, the bar will open after snorkeling is completed. Snorkeling activity is drift snorkeling - you start over Columbia Reef and drift gently along in the current passing over Palancar Reef. 1 entry, but 2 reefs.
