NIRVANA Yacht – Exquisite $300M Superyacht

The $300 million superyacht was built by Oceanco, featuring a design from Sam Sorgiovanni and naval architecture from Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture.

The yacht was delivered in 2012 and continued to be a luxurious charter yacht on the water for guests to enjoy.

Sam Sorgiovanni designed the interior of the NIRVANA yacht. The award-winning yacht has accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins with one master, 1 VIP, and four double suites.

The master suite features amenities like a wraparound window and a private deck area.

The accommodation for 27 crew members creates a luxury experience for the guests onboard.

She features luxury design elements inspired by the earth and rainforest by using natural materials like teak, woven bronze, silk, and onyx.

There is a helicopter pad on the sun deck. A 7.5m swimming pool converts into a dance floor for partying all night and day on the yacht.

There are premium wellness facilities, including a massage room, steam room, sauna, and gym facilities. All of these are complemented by the on-deck jacuzzi.

The yacht is kids friendly with several safety features that make her a child-friendly vessel. The two vivariums that are forwards of the dining salon are another fascinating design element of the luxury NIRVANA.

The vivariums, or reptile tanks, are home to water dragons, neared lizards, turtles, frogs, and chameleons.

The bespoke entertainment areas set this yacht apart and provide the most luxurious experience on board.

The beach club is the perfect spot for guests to enjoy the superyacht lifestyle with a spacious area on the water level.

The fun on the yacht continues in the water with a garage that is filled with water toys and tenders. The water toys include aqua park inflatables, wave runners, and jet skis.

The NIRVANA yacht exterior features a design from Sam Sorgiovanni, with a deep dark blue hull that is slightly flared at the bow.

She features a downward curve aft of amidships and bright cap rails and transom, which gives her a classic look.

It was built by Oceanco with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and was delivered in 2012. Her naval architecture was penned by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture.

Specifications

The NIRVANA yacht is an 88.5m superyacht with a 14.2m beam and a 3.9m draft. The vessel features twin MTU engines, giving her a comfortable cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 20 knots.

She has a 6800 nautical mile range when cruising at 14 knots. NIRVANA’s displacement weighs in at 2786 gross tons.

She was built to Lloyd’s Register and features advanced anchor stabilizers, which provide exceptional comfort levels while onboard. The yacht has a price tag of $300 million.

It’s hard to improve on the perfection of the Maldives, but swap island life for a stint on board Nirvana , and the Maldivian experience becomes even more memorable.

Delivered by Dutch shipyard Oceanco in 2012, the superyacht is new to the Monaco-based Y.CO charter fleet . Sleeping up to 12 guests, it is well-suited to families, with optional protective netting on all exterior decks and a selection of child-friendly water toys (think snorkeling with SeaBobs and supervised Jet Skis).

A top speed of 19.5 knots and a cruising range of 6,800 nautical miles—thanks to two 4,825 hp engines and a 73,968-gallon fuel capacity—make far-flung locations in the Indian Ocean accessible. The yacht itself is too large to drop anchor in atoll shallows, but two 35-foot tenders allow guests to reach remote sand banks and hot spots for kitesurfing. With extensive cruising experience in the region, the 28-strong crew are knowledgeable about the best places for diving, surfing and fishing, while the 15 scuba sets allow guests to explore the tropical marine life in large groups—a nice touch.

Life on board is spread across five decks. A mix of large social areas and intimate spaces help prevent the 2,786-gross-ton interior from feeling too overwhelming. Sliding doors on both sides of the main and upper saloons open things up, while a 3-D theater, a gym and a massage room are among the interior amenities when you want to hunker down. The dedicated owner’s deck features a private suite, a lobby, a Jacuzzi and two dining venues.

The sundeck offers a 10-foot plunge pool, while the main deck’s 25-foot counter-flow pool can provide an aquatic workout. And once the sun goes down, the latter transforms into a dance floor to pair with the main saloon, which doubles as a nightclub. Rates start at $1,000,000 per week, excluding VAT and expenses.

Nirvana is a truly exceptional superyacht available for charter in some of the world’s most incredible destinations. Nirvana offers charter guests indulgent levels of luxury, a first-class service and the charter experience of a lifetime.

Built by the OceanCo shipyard and launched in 2012, the five-deck 88.5m Nirvana offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six spacious and stylish suites. The palatial master suite rivals even the most opulent of shore-based apartments, with an overhead skylight, his-and-hers en suites, a beautifully-appointed study, and its own private deck with a Jacuzzi.

The guest accommodation is located on the main deck and the VIP can boast a private lounge as well as a large en suite with a bathtub. There are four further double cabins, all en suite and with walk-in wardrobes, and two of these have sofa day-beds which serve as extra single beds, as well as additional pullman bunks.

Onboard guest facilities include a fitness centre with fully-equipped gym and adjacent sauna, a massage/spa treatment room, an 18-person dining room and a 3D cinema suite.  Nirvana’s main saloon, which has plenty of comfy couches as well as more formal seating areas, can be transformed of an evening into a ‘nightclub lounge’, with atmospheric lighting, a bar counter with stools and an impressive audio-visual system.

Nirvana’s interior has been designed by Sam Sorgiovanni and is inspired by the earth and the rainforest. The decor and furnishings utilise natural materials such as teak, woven bronze, silk and onyx, and feature subtle patterns taken from the shapes of nature.

On deck, Nirvana not only has a 7.5m counterflow swimming pool (which can be converted into a dancefloor or a stage for parties), but also a 3m plunge pool on her sun deck, which is flanked by deep-cushioned sun pads.

Nirvana is ideal for families and actively welcomes children. Optional protective netting can be applied to all decks to keep the little ones extra safe, and the friendly crew will help younger guests feel right at home.

Nirvana has a plethora of water toys on offer, including four jet skis, three SeaBobs, 10 sets of scuba diving gear, stand-up paddleboards, kite/wind surfing equipment and various inflatables.

Nirvana is available for summer charters in the western Mediterranean and is located in the Indian Ocean and south east Asia each winter. The calm waters of the Maldives, teeming with underwater life and dotted with picture-perfect atolls, are the ideal setting for a secluded escape full of first-time experiences. Nirvana’s crew have extensive experience cruising the Maldives and the surrounding region, and their local knowledge of anchorages, dive sites and exciting islands to be explored, ensures guests have the ultimate charter vacation.

Oceanco ´s project Y707, the latest vessel to make the World’s Top 100 list, has been given a name – NIRVANA. The 88.5 motor yacht NIRVANA (ex project Y707) is a spectacular full displacement vessel, launched in January. Featuring both exterior as well as interior by renowned Sam Sorgiovanni , the Nirvana superyacht´s naval architecture is by the Oceanco´s in-house team in partnership with well known Azure Naval Architects . She is due to be delivered next month.

Oceanco’s five-deck superyacht Nirvana sleeps her guests in 6 luxurious and spacious cabins, including a master suite featuring a popular Spa Pool on the private exterior deck, one VIP cabin with his and hers ensuite bathrooms and a lounge, as well as four double guest cabins, with the same characteristics as the VIP cabin. She also offers a large swimming pool situated at the aft of the main deck, overlooking the transom, a helipad suited for a large business/private helicopter, large open deck and a wood-like detail-board wrapping around the entire hull.

The mighty 88.5m motor yacht Nirvana was launched by Oceanco as recently as February 2012 . Naval architecture is by Azure Naval Architects and Oceanco’s in-house team, while her exterior lines come from the boards of Australian designer Sam Sorgiovanni. Lloyd’s registered and MCA compliant, this six-deck superyacht, built in steel and aluminium, is ingeniously designed with interconnected interior and exterior areas thanks to large sliding doors that allow guests to be both inside and outside simultaneously.

Sam Sorgiovanni is also responsible for the contemporary interior, which accommodates 12 guests. The master suite, complete with office, private deck and spa pool, enjoys panoramic views from the foredeck. Five further VIP cabins accommodate the other guests, including a larger one with a lounge and his-and-hers bathrooms.

Nirvana is powered by twin 3,600kW MTU 20V 4000M73L engines giving a top speed of 20 knots and a transpacific range. Special features include a 7.5m swimming pool with a height adjustable floor on the main aft deck, a helipad on the sundeck, as well as a dedicated indoor 3D cinema.

Motor Yacht

The construction of Y707, the seventh Oceanco new generation superyacht, began in July 2008 with the keel laying of the vessel at the hull-building facility in Zwijinenburg.

This 87m superyacht with a 14.20m beam and a bulbous bow is scheduled for delivery in 2011. She will feature six decks each with a private exterior area, a 7.5m swimming pool, as well as a helicopter landing pad on the sundeck.
