A MUST-DO EXPERIENCE IN HAWAII!

I booked a last minute sunset whale watching cruise with North Shore, and I had a wonderful time. The captain and his second were both very nice, offering us drinks and lots of lore about the whales and the island. Despite the rains nearby, we stayed dry the whole time, and the captain guided us directly to a pair of Humpbacks that were feeding nearby. A nice additional touch was staying out on the water for an extra half-hour to catch the entire sunset, which was gorgeous. Highly recommended!

We had a great time and saw at least 8-10 whales including a young calf. The boat was well run and the crew were great. The hydrophone to listen to the whales was awesome! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time with Captain Mark and Skye! Our family of 10, including an infant, went out on their catamaran. They were wonderful hosts, and super accommodating. We saw tons of dolphins, several whales and a couple of turtles. They were very engaging with our young adults and taught them how to spot the animals, making a wonderful and interactive tour. I would definitely recommend this company and will go again when we get the chance.

I would give North Shore Catamarans 10 stars if I could. Amazing cruise. A young whale breached several times near our boat. Then the mother breached and the youngster breached several more times. What an amazing sight! The boat was very stable & comfortable. The crew was delightful. We highly recommend North Shore Catamarans.

Unlike some of tours available on the south side of the island this tour does not put 200 people on a boat. The small boat held about 20 people and was the perfect size. I braved the nets and got splashed a bit by a few passing waves but it was loads of fun! February is peak whale season. We saw so many whales waving their fins and tails at us I lost count. We even got to see a a few break the water as they swam, and 1 even did a spiral flip for us. It was truly an amazing experience. The crew helped point out the whales in the distance, so we wouldn’t miss any. They were friendly and professional. I highly recommend the drive up to the North Shore! It was definitely worth it!

We went out at 0930 for a whale watching tour. Crew/staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We saw a bunch of whales, got to listen to them and swim in the deep ocean. We also saw some dolphins toward the end and spent a little extra time trying to get a better look. Photographer captured some great pics of whales and our group and sold them for a reasonable cost. Would choose this company again.

My daughter and I were on the whale watching tour. It was my daughter’s 3rd With this company. We have both been on tours and what I liked about this one. The captain and crew member were very nice. We did get to see a whale breaching and blowing, turtles and a shark. The crew also let us listen to the whales and it was so clear and amazing. Also when we were going into port the crew had a guest blow 3x into a HUGE Conch shell to let everyone now we were coming in. Lots of Fun!

This is a must do! It was great to be out at sea to view the island from a different perspective. Of course the sea life and the sun set was equally as great! Good job to the crew. They are very informative and friendly.

NA HOKU 3 is our brand new catamaran located in front of Duke’s Restaurant, departing directly off of the sandy shores of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Oahu.

NA HOKU 2 has retired from the beach and is now located at Kewalo Basin Harbor Slip F23!

Our breezy adventure cruises include complimentary drinks and will take you to the most beautiful spots, where you can marvel at Diamond Head or see an amazing Hawaiian sunset. With seating for up to 49 guests, including a splash action net area, get ready for some fun – you will likely get splashed! They have this operation dialed in. It is short but very sweet. The open bar and fun, yet competent, staff makes for good times on the water. The views are great, they have good music going, and it is fun meeting other folks on board. Definitely check it out!

What a wonderful experience! The crew was friendly and fun. The drinks were tasty and plentiful. The sunset was gorgeous and the moonrise was a terrific bonus. I highly recommend!

This was a great experience. This sail is very calm and relaxing and a completely different experience from the trade wind sails, where you expect to get tossed around and get wet. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The sunset was gorgeous, even though it was overcast all day. My wife and I now prefer this sail over the trade winds sails we have done in the past. Great sail!

This is the best deal in Waikiki. Was there for a week and went on this cruise three times. ~$30 for one hour sail with open bar. So, you can sit in a hotel bar and nurse one drink or be on the ocean enjoying amazing views, listen to lively music and chug down multiple drinks. No brainer. Shout out to Dustin for the amazing sailing experience.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guests will receive a full refund only with a minimum 24-hour notice of cancellation. Full refunds are also issued in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

During the slower seasons and typically the morning sails, tour cancellations can occur due to a minimum requirement of 6 booked guests. In these rare situations, guests are always given the option to rebook or refund. If you are concerned about your tour, please call with any questions.

Guests wishing to rebook or reschedule must give 24 hours notice. Contact us by phone directly to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows and guests canceling within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price .*Groups of 20 or larger are required to give 72-hour notice to cancel or modify bookings.

This was one of my favorite activities on Oahu! We loved the sail. We even got lucky and saw dolphins and turtles! My family loved every minute of it. Captain Woody and the rest of the crew were so helpful and friendly!

We did the snorkeling tour and it was great! Captain John, Curtis and the crew were all super nice full and of knowledge. On top of seeing turtles we also saw dolphins!

We found this Sunset Cruise and chose it because it is a bit smaller than most and it is BYOB. It picks up right on the beach and the crew was great.

I loved our sunset cruise! We found this one pretty last minute and felt so lucky to get spots. It’s BYOB and super fun/relaxing. Our crew was great and happy to take pictures of us, and of course gave us some fun facts and tips!

If you are in Oahu and in Waikiki on Friday, you MUST do the Glass Bottom boat tour to see the Friday night fireworks, it was an amazing place to view this spectacular event and you will not regret it at all. They are not far from Ala Moana and definitely on the TO DO List for Waikiki.

This was our favorite experience during our two weeks in Hawaii. Great friendly crew, good lunch. The whole thing felt relaxed and lovely. We went snorkeling and we saw a turtle. This really made us happy. The pick up from the hotel was also very good.

To start off with you’ll cross Moli’i fishpond, an 800 yr old example of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture, where you will learn about sustainable fishing practices as well as our oyster farm and current stewardship practices. Soon after you’ll arrive at “Secret Island” where you will board our catamaran for an ocean tour of Kaneohe Bay. This tour offers spectacular oceanfront views of Mokoli’i Island, Hakipu’u and Kualoa valleys, and the Ko’olau mountain range. If you’re lucky you may also see turtles or other wildlife.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

• This tour includes a ~20 minute Hawaiian fishpond tour and a ~45 minute ocean catamaran voyage.  There is no time for swimming out in the ocean or on the beach on this tour.  Book the Secret Island Beach Adventure tour if water activities (kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, etc) are what youʻre looking for.
• This tour does not operate on Sundays and Federal Holidays due to Hawaiʻi State Law prohibiting commercial vessels on the bay on those days.

Charter Oahu Snorkeling Tour is a great underwater adventure to remember for beginners! We made the online reservation a few days prior. They can accommodate from a small group of 2 to 4, or up to about 25-30 people on this small boat. The adventure starts with a boat ride few miles outside of the Waikiki beach. The boat is managed by a Captain, a boat handler, and also a professional underwater photographer were on hand to guide us along the way. This was so amazing! First, the staff was super incredible and friendly. They make great conversation and are super helpful at addressing nerves lol. They also serve great snacks! The snorkeling itself was so amazing. We seen so many turtles and the water was so clear. An hour in the water is the perfect amount. It was definitely an incredible experience!

Fantastic charter!! We did the Turtle Canyon cruise and the crew (Alex, Willow, and Nina) were all amazing. We got to see a few sea turtles up close and lots of fish swimming around. Truly an amazing experience! Highly recommend this tour if you are interested in going snorkeling.

I was scared to snorkel in the middle of the ocean but Alex, Kelsey and Meg put me at ease. Meg was our caption, she's badass, she is so nice and knowledgeable about everything. Alex was the nicest person I've ever met. She is so outgoing and sweet. She helped me so much in and out of the water. Kelsey is an amazing diver and picks up critters off the ocean floor to show you. Both Alex and Kelsey did an amazing job at spotting turtles and telling us to swim their way. We saw about 10 turtles during the hour we were in the water. After we swam, they offered us drinks, chips, and fresh fruit on a cute platter. Definitely recommend booking with charter Oahu for snorkeling. Especially with these 3 women!!

This was a great experience. The crew of Snorkel 1 was great. Everything about the process from leaving the shore, wearing the equipment, and what to expect in the water was very well explained. We all received juice can when we arrived in the boat, then we were given fresh pineapples and chips as we headed back to shore. The staff was helpful in the water at pointing out where the turtles were. It was cool to look at the ocean bottom and see the various creatures. We also saw several turtles at the top of the water. We were provided with the fins, goggles, and life vest. They also provided a floating noodle for whoever wanted one. It was a great experience.

During our stay on the beautiful Island of O'ahu, my wife and I embarked on various excursions, but one in particular stood out as the highlight of our trip. The team we had the pleasure of working with displayed an exquisite balance of hospitality and an extensive knowledge of snorkeling with the turtles. Their genuine commitment to ensuring that every participant felt warmly welcomed and had an extraordinary experience went above and beyond our expectations.

So this is actually the third time I've done a boat tour to Turtle Canyon over the years, though my first with Charter Oahu. This was easily the best! The boat is a much smaller size than many that go out and the crew is absolutely amazing! We had Captain Meg, Sophia, Alix, Gretchen and Angelina on our boat and they were probably one of the best crews we've ever had on a boat tour! Secondly, this experience is incredible (hence I try to do it whenever I'm in town!) I've never been anywhere else in Hawaii with so many turtles in the water with you as at this 'cleaning station'. It's absolutely incredible to swim with them (but please respect them and give them the proper space). If you're in Oahu, don't miss this experience and don't miss doing it with Charter Oahu! They're the best!!

Excellent crew. They did a great job socializing with us and getting to know us. If you want a quick 2 hr snorkel trip, this is the go to crew.

Excellent experience, booked last min, day of and so glad I did. The tour was great by the all female crew. Light snacks and easy snorkeling were part of the adventure. Highly recommend for families. When I come back I will do it again!

Great operation. Sophia and Christy were great in the water. Making sure everyone saw turtles. Snacks included Aloha juice, chips, fresh pineapple. Clean boat. Only thing, we'd have liked a bit more lessons on marine life, Hawaii, etc. Otherwise, a great tour on a great day.
