Short Answer

The ownership of superyachts is generally private, so the exact answer to who owns which superyacht is not always publicly available.

However, there are some notable superyacht owners that are known.

For example, Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle, owns the Rising Sun, which is the 11th largest superyacht in the world.

Other notable owners include Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.

Overview of Superyachts

The term superyacht refers to a large, expensive recreational boat that is typically owned by the worlds wealthy elite.

These vessels are designed for luxury cruising and typically range in size from 24 meters to over 150 meters, with some even larger.

Superyachts usually feature extensive amenities and creature comforts, such as swimming pools, outdoor bars, movie theaters, helipads, and spas.

Superyachts can range in price from $30 million to an astonishingly high $400 million.

Like most luxury items, the ownership of a superyacht is a status symbol for those who can afford it.

The list of superyacht owners reads like a whos who of billionaires, with names like Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The most expensive superyacht in the world is owned by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

While some superyacht owners prefer to keep their vessels out of the public eye, others have made headlines with their extravagant amenities.

From Hollywood celebrities to tech billionaires, superyacht owners come from all walks of life.

Many of the most well-known owners are billionaires, including Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Other notable owners include Hollywood stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp.

However, not all superyacht owners are wealthy.

Many are everyday people who have worked hard and saved up to purchase their dream vessel.

Other notable billionaire owners include Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, and former US President Donald Trump.

These luxurious vessels come with hefty price tags that can range from $30 million to over $400 million.

Some owners prefer to keep their yachts out of the public eye, while others have made headlines with their extensive amenities – from swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas.

Many of these yachts are designed to the owner’s exact specifications, ensuring that each one is totally unique and reflects the owner’s individual tastes and personality.

Owning a superyacht is an exclusive club, reserved for those with the means and the desire to experience the ultimate in luxury.

Whether they are billionaires or everyday people, superyacht owners are all united in their love of the sea and their appreciation for the finer things in life.

The Most Expensive Superyacht in the World

When it comes to superyachts, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, certainly knows how to make a statement.

His luxury vessel, the 463-foot Al Mirqab, holds the title of the world’s most expensive superyacht.

Built in 2008 by German shipbuilder Peters Werft, this impressive yacht is complete with 10 luxurious cabins, a conference room, cinema, and all the amenities one would expect from a vessel of this magnitude.

In addition, the Al Mirqab features a helipad, swimming pool, and even an outdoor Jacuzzi.

With a price tag of over $400 million, the Al Mirqab is one of the most expensive yachts in the world.

In addition to the Emir of Qatar, there are several other notable owners of superyachts.

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos all own luxurious vessels.

Bezos yacht, the aptly named The Flying Fox, is one of the longest superyachts in the world at a staggering 414 feet in length.

The Flying Fox also comes with a host of amenities, such as a helipad, swimming pool, spa, and multiple outdoor entertaining areas.

Bezos also reportedly spent over $400 million on the vessel.

There are also many lesser-known owners, such as hedge-fund manager Ken Griffin, who owns the $150 million Aviva, and investor Sir Philip Green, who owns the $100 million Lionheart.

No matter who owns them, superyachts are sure to turn heads.

At the top of the list is the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who holds the distinction of owning the most expensive superyacht in the world.

Aside from the Emir, other notable owners include Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

All of these owners have made headlines with their extravagant vessels, which are typically priced between $30 million and $400 million.

The amenities that come with these vessels vary greatly from owner to owner, but they almost always include luxurious swimming pools, helicopter pads, on-board cinemas, and spas.

Some owners opt for more extravagant features, such as submarines, personal submarines, and even their own personal submarines! Other owners prefer to keep their vessels out of the public eye, but for those who prefer a more showy approach, they can certainly make a statement with a superyacht.

No matter who owns the vessel, it’s no surprise that these superyachts are a status symbol among the world’s wealthiest.

Whether you’re trying to impress your peers or just looking to enjoy a luxurious outing, owning a superyacht is the ultimate way to show off your wealth.

What Amenities are Included on Superyachts?

Owning a superyacht is a sign of wealth and prestige, and many of the worlds most prominent billionaires have their own vessels.

The most expensive superyacht in the world is owned by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, while other notable owners include Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The cost of a superyacht can range from $30 million to over $400 million, but the price tag doesnt quite capture the sheer extravagance and amenities of these vessels.

Superyachts come with all the comforts of home, and then some.

Many owners will equip their vessels with swimming pools, helicopter pads, on-board cinemas, spas, and other luxury amenities.

The interior of a superyacht can be custom-designed to the owners specifications.

Some owners opt for modern, sleek designs, while others prefer a more traditional look.

Many of the most luxurious yachts feature marble floors, walk-in closets, and custom-made furniture.

Some vessels even come with a full-service gym, complete with exercise equipment and trained professionals.

Other amenities may include a library, casino, media room, and private bar.

When it comes to outdoor amenities, superyachts have some of the most impressive features in the world.

Many yachts come with outdoor entertainment areas, complete with full kitchens, dining rooms, and lounge areas.

Some owners even opt for hot tubs or jacuzzis for relaxing afternoons in the sun.

And, of course, there are the jet skis, water slides, and other exciting water activities that come with many of these vessels.

No matter what amenities a superyacht has, it is sure to be an experience like no other.

From the sleek interiors to the luxurious outdoor features, these vessels provide a unique, luxurious experience that is unrivaled on land.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing escape or an exciting adventure, a superyacht is sure to provide.

How Much Do Superyachts Cost?

katariina 1 yacht owner

When it comes to superyachts, the sky is the limit when it comes to cost.

These luxury vessels come with hefty price tags that can range from anywhere between $30 million to over $400 million.

So, if youre in the market for a superyacht, youre looking at an investment that could easily break the bank.

The cost of a superyacht is driven by a variety of factors, including size, amenities, and customization.

Generally, the larger the yacht, the more expensive it will be.

Superyachts typically range in size from 100 feet to over 200 feet, and they can be as wide as 40 feet.

The bigger the yacht, the more luxurious features and amenities it will have.

Amenities also play a significant role in the cost of a superyacht.

While some owners prefer to keep their yachts out of the public eye, others have made headlines with their extensive amenities.

From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, the sky is the limit when it comes to customizing a superyacht.

The more amenities a superyacht has, the more expensive it will be.

Finally, customization is another major factor that will drive up the cost of a superyacht.

Many luxury vessels have custom-designed interiors that are tailored to the owners tastes.

From custom furniture and artwork to lighting and audio systems, the cost of a superyacht can quickly escalate depending on the level of customization.

In short, the cost of a superyacht can vary widely depending on its size, amenities, and customization.

While some may be able to get away with spending a few million dollars, others may end up spending hundreds of millions of dollars on their dream yacht.

No matter what your budget is, its important to do your research and find out exactly what youre getting for your money before signing on the dotted line.

Keeping Superyachts Out of the Public Eye

When it comes to owning a superyacht, some owners prefer to keep their vessels out of the public eye.

Understandably, these individuals are concerned with privacy and discretion, and therefore tend to take measures to ensure their yachts are not visible to outsiders.

For instance, some superyacht owners opt to keep their vessels in private marinas, away from the public areas of larger ports.

Additionally, some yacht owners may choose to hire security guards to patrol and protect their vessels while they are moored or sailing.

In addition to physical security, some superyacht owners also use technology to keep their vessels out of the public eye.

For example, a yacht owner may choose to install a satellite-based communications system that allows them to keep their vessel completely off-radar.

This system works by bouncing signals off satellites rather than transmitting them, making it virtually impossible for anyone to track the yachts movements.

Finally, some superyacht owners also choose to limit the number of people who have access to their vessels.

For instance, the owner may only allow family members and close friends to board the yacht.

Additionally, the owner may choose to employ a limited number of staff to help maintain the vessel and keep it running smoothly.

These individuals may be required to sign non-disclosure agreements to ensure they do not disclose any information about the yacht or its owner.

Overall, while some superyacht owners may choose to keep their vessels out of the public eye, there are still plenty of other ways to show off the opulence associated with owning a superyacht.

From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, there are many luxurious amenities that can make a superyacht the envy of any jet setter.

Final Thoughts

Superyachts are a symbol of luxury and status, and the list of yacht owners reads like a who’s who of billionaires.

From the Emir of Qatar’s world-record breaking $400 million yacht to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s vessel with a helicopter pad and on-board spa, the amenities of these luxury vessels are truly stunning.

With prices ranging from $30 million to over $400 million, owning a superyacht is an expensive endeavor.

Whether you’re looking to purchase one or just curious to learn more about the owners and their amenities, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to stay up to date with the superyacht scene.

FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW

Inspected by us..

Throughout the long history of the yachting industry and shipbuilding in general, we find yachts that, despite their age, still live in the hearts of many yachtsmen and women. Ferretti, a well-known yachting brand, has set industry standards since 1968. But, not all the models crafted by Ferretti Yachts remained as precious heritage…

At the age when it was first launched, the legendary 880 models set the guidelines that many yachts of its size still adhere to today. That is why MISS KATARIINA yacht charter is so popular among yacht connoisseurs and charter guests, who can truly cherish core yachting values. On top of that, when a luxury yacht goes under extensive refits, has one of the best yacht chefs in Croatia as well as an excellent and experienced crew… we are quite confident to say that, within its category, she is a perfect yacht for charter in Croatia.

MISS KATARIINA yacht charter was built by Ferretti Yachts in 2004 and completely refitted in 2019 and 2020. With her 27m length, she provides an exclusive yacht charter experience in Croatia, accommodating up to 10 guests in four well-appointed cabins, one of which is a spacious full-beam master suite with a king-size berth and a whirlpool bath. On the lower deck, you will also find her VIP stateroom with a queen-size berth and two twin cabins that have single berths with additional pullman berths suitable for children.

MISS KATARIINA yacht charter has powerful motorization, with cruising speeds of 23 knots, reaching a maximum speed of 31 knots. This speed sets her more in a sport yacht category, rather than a luxury yacht range, meaning you can enjoy a private sunset party in the middle of the Adriatic and still get on time for your evening gala on shore; this diversity makes MISS KATARIINA stand out even more. She also boasts low vibration and low noise levels, especially in the guest areas.

There are four crew members on this yacht; professionals with decades of experience. Coming from a world of 50+ meter superyachts, they brought all the standards of accommodation, service and most importantly cuisine from a significantly bigger yacht and introduced it to MISS KATARIINA, as an everyday standard.

The crew is always at your disposal and according to the family yacht charter guest reviews, they will not only execute an excellent charter but also amaze kids with surprises and activities that are totally unique and fun.

MISS KATARIINA yacht charter is fully appointed and up-to-date, equipped with Bose sound surround system and new cushions aboard all decks. The spacious main deck aft with a new, handmade wood table is perfect for cocktail afternoons and alfresco breakfasts. The fully air-conditioned, large and stylish main salon with big sofas and a coffee table, a flatscreen TV and an entertainment centre is the ‘place to be’ when resting from water sports and other activities.

All cabins have their own entertainment systems, as well as a great Wi-Fi connection in every corner of this yacht. There is also a fantastic BBQ on the flybridge for ‘rooftop’ parties and BBQ dinners, not to mention a fully appointed indoor formal dining area that seats all guests in full comfort.

What I love the most about this yacht is the size of the flybridge. With a huge alfresco dining table, two large sun pads, a lovely wet bar and an amazing jacuzzi, this area is made for perfect relaxation and gathering with friends and family.

Besides amazing yacht amenities, there is a range of toys available for any wet or dry adventure. Firstly, a 13-meter chase boat that goes alongside with MISS KATARIINA yacht charter, taking you onshore in style and full comfort. For more freedom of choice, it is an absolute highlight to have such a huge support vessel going alongside your yacht charter, getting you to remote islands safe and ultrafast.

When MISS KATARIINA yacht charter opens her transom, she reveals the secrets of her spacious toy garage, where you will find the most desirable water toys. A super fun Yamaha WaveRunner jet ski, a stand-up paddleboard, a wakeboard, snorkelling equipment, bicycles, towables & skis… All of these toys are for both adults and children, guaranteeing an amazing adventure on your yacht charter vacation.

MISS KATARIINA yacht charter has even more to offer and is welcoming guests aboard from early spring of 2022. If you want every day of your yacht charter filled with joy and diversity, definitely opt for this yacht. Within her category, you will not find better. If you wish to enquire about the availability of MISS KATARIINA yacht charter, contact us today or drop us a text.

A DAY ON THE YACHT

The surprisingly calm sound of the sea or birds chirping might wake you up just on time to start a new day aboard your yacht charter. After your morning ritual, you can walk through the pine forest of a completely private and uninhabited island. A special spot recommended by your experienced captain Sami, who just redefined the meaning of the word paradise, by choosing the perfect spot.

Sunshades are down and breakfast is being served on the main deck aft of your amazing MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. Enjoy your favourite coffee or squeezed orange juice paired with homemade pancakes and local jam or melted dark chocolate. Being just a few stairs from the turquoise sea, you might even wish to sit down on the swimming platform and have a croissant with your legs in the water…

After breakfast, you might want to take a swim in the clear turquoise sea or start exploring your mystery island. The knowledgeable crew members can tell you everything about local Croatian myths and legends or teach you how to find endemic species all by yourself. There are many different animal and plant species that you can only find in Croatia. If you opt for swimming, you can take out your snorkeling equipment and start looking for sea urchins or starfish. You will be amazed by the biodiversity of the Croatian seabed.

When you are done with swimming, snorkeling or exploring, it might be time for a delicious lunch. You can enjoy it in an air-conditioned indoor dining area or on the upper deck. Try special local food or opt for the meals characteristic of your hometown. Your private chef will prepare anything you want. It can be an amazing shrimp risotto with Croatian white wine, carrot salad with marinated anchovies or beefsteak with mushroom sauce.

After lunch, you might decide to take a nap in your lovely master suite or watch your favourite movie in the magical indoor salon. When you have recharged your batteries, it could be the time for relaxing in the jacuzzi or trying the rest of your water toys. Sit on the amazing Yamaha jet-ski and show off your fantastic skills. If you want, your captain can take you on a fishing trip and teach you the best hacks and tricks. Catch delicious fish for dinner, so you may delight your charter guests.

At the end of the day, you can unwind in a spacious jacuzzi with a bottle of limited-edition Croatian wine from an underwater winery or read your favourite romance novel on the main deck aft.

YACHT CHARTER DINING

The galley aboard MISS KATARIINA yacht charter is compact but able to provide all the luxury dining elements a charter guest would expect. A stove with five rings and plenty of fridge space enables the preparation of exquisite and personalized dishes. Enjoy every meal during your vacation, thanks to an awarded and experienced private chef.

Furthermore, get excited for lunch with fusion lobster or shrimp roll or grilled meat from the region of Istria. Your private chef is always there for you at any time of day or night. For dinner, you can always opt for one of the Croatian Michelin-starred restaurants, like 360 in the city of Dubrovnik or Pelegrini in the city of Šibenik . You could also let your crew organise a themed dinner party on your aft deck or upper deck. Your private chef can prepare delicious grilled succulent pork tenderloin or macadamia and coconut crusted fish.

If you want to show your chef how a perfect BBQ looks like, you can prepare a meal for your group. Share your tips and make the best BBQ in Croatia.

YACHT MAIN DECK

For that perfect first impression, sweet light piano music creates a harmonious atmosphere on MISS KATARIINA`s main deck aft. As guests step onto her stern, the crew welcomes them with a glass of chilled champagne and cold towels. The main deck aft has a circular dining table with double stern benches, divided by a cooler feature. The surface of the main deck aft is streamlined and smooth, thanks to ropes and cables being tucked under the hull. This way, they are barely visible, but still right at hand, creating a neat and tidy deck impression.

The dining table will be decorated daily with fresh lily arrangements and other aesthetic elements that will make sitting at the table enjoyable. Also, there are plenty of integrated LED lights, moulded into the fibreglass hardtop.

There are two cameras covering the main deck aft, which will make guests feel safe and secure when berthed with MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. On the frame of the fibreglass hardtop are removable sunshades, which can extend all the way down to the stainless polished handrails, which will create a much more shielded atmosphere for the main deck aft.

The stairway to the upper deck is located on the starboard side, but not before guests walk around the side decks, to get a better impression of MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. The teak is in a wonderful condition; you can see that the crew works daily to upkeep and preserve and maintain this vessel in a pristine condition.

Stainless steel handrails go all the way to the bow, which is excellently designed. In front of the interior helm station windshield, there are six fantastic sun pads, moulded into the superstructure. This sun lover’s heaven will attract guests to enjoy cocktails and canapes while marvelling at the fantastic view of untouched Croatian islands. They can follow MISS KATARIINA`s cruising course and observe the wonderful Croatian Adriatic sea panorama – the coastline, the islands, the sea, the sun, the clouds, the blue sky and the mighty mountains in the background.

Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area

The main deck salon is accessed via a very huge glass sliding door which leads into the interior lounge area. The main salon has a generous amount of headspace. On the port side, there is a shelving arrangement with art pieces; something to tie the atmosphere of the space together into a glamourous first impression.

There are hip-high cabinets with polished frames, providing enough storage for an extended charter vacation and extending throughout the length of the main salon. The lounge area is divided from the dining area using one of the sofas as a makeshift divider.

When it comes to the design of the salon, it is wonderfully tied together, with white fabric surfaces that only serve to accentuate the handcrafted wood. The salon`s floor solution is a welcomed change from the majority of yachts that feature a carpet in the main salon.

The bare dark wood floor on MISS KATARIINA yacht charter feels more natural and more grounding, creating an inviting atmosphere. This means that guests will feel at home, especially because of a hardworking and expert crew, which will give their all to provide guests with a sense of joy, adventure and excitement on their Croatian yacht charter holiday.

YACHT FLYBRIDGE

Reaching the flybridge is possible via the staircase on the starboard side of the main deck aft. Fantastically moulded lights keep the staircase lit in the evening, so guests will not have any problems commuting between decks. The flybridge has a stern storage surface, which can house two jet skis, which are launched by a nearby crane. When the jet skis are launched, this area can be used for a number of purposes, from massage therapies, exercises, meditation or playing golf.

The main feature of the flybridge is the fantastic, centrally-placed jacuzzi, with two sunbeds located portside of the jacuzzi, so guests can sunbathe one minute and flip over into the jacuzzi in the next. You could also chit-chat with the people in the jacuzzi while laying down.

There are practical steps moulded into the structure of the jacuzzi, with a C-shaped sofa arrangement on the port side, which is the second alfresco dining option area on MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. The alfresco flybridge table is compatible, created from two smaller coffee tables that can merge and create a big dining table. This would be a nice environment to enjoy meals surrounded by fresh sea air and soft summer breezes.

The starboard side has a wet bar with polished stainless steel handrails, a fridge, a wine cooler and a grill station. On the starboard side, placed against one of the sides of the wet bar, is an exterior lounge area which is actually an L-shaped sofa combined with a sun pad.

A bimini top spans the majority of the flybridge, enabling guests to enjoy the view without being exposed to the sun for too long. A practical feature present on the flybridge is friction stripes, which prevent guests from falling or slipping.

YACHT LOWER DECK

This magnificent superyacht can host up to ten guests in four excellently cabins, including a spacious master stateroom, a great VIP cabin and two twin cabins.

Yacht Charter Accommodation: The Master stateroom

When you enter the master suite you will be amazed by spectacular tones of silver, white and brown. The master stateroom follows the same pattern as the VIP, but it is more spacious and more elegantly appointed, with elaborate ornaments, smart details and hand-crafted accessories.

The king-size berth is centrally-placed, with plenty of walk-around room. A wonderful mirror wall behind the berth transforms the whole space into a crystal palace – this mirror wall actually doubles as storage space; very practical and extremely beautiful.

An adornment behind the berth follows the same pattern present on the sheets, so it combines seamlessly with the berth, presenting intricate hexagonal mosaic patterns coloured with silver, gold and bronze. Add to that the twin nightstands and an impression of a stylish faux bench behind the berth is created, adding to the intricacy of the whole cabin. To port, two cabinets are on each side of a compact sofa, practically placed near a wide window.

Here, guests can take a quick nap, relax between meals, watch a movie or just read their favourite magazine. There is another walk-in closet to port, which features safe and hidden storage compartments, enabling versatility when storing your vacation baggage. Each cabin also comes equipped with a fire extinguisher, adding to the safety of the charter guests.

The ceiling is multi-levelled, inlaid with leather-like fabric that adds to the overall luxury atmosphere. A massive flat-screen TV is located on the wall across the berth, offering the best possible viewing angles from all sides of the cabin. A Bose sound system is integrated straight into the ceiling, so guests could feel completely immersed in their favourite blockbuster or show.

On the starboard side is a great vanity table with a chair from where you can reply to your emails, read a book or just enjoy delicious snacks before going to bed. Both port and starboard sides of the master cabin have their own ensuite entrances. The starboard side ensuite has a sink, a head and a shower and a tub combo, decorated with light brown plywood wood panels.

The other ensuite has a green marble finish on the countertops, as well as a shower cabin and a head. The ensuites also retain some of the general decor present on the yacht, like wood details, white coarse surfaces and glossy ornaments.

Yacht Charter Accommodation: The VIP cabin

This cabin features a centrally placed queen size berth, featuring an ornamental hexagonal pattern, coloured in a silver and black combo. There are portholes on both sides of the hull, which offer an ideal amount of daylight.

One port side sofa bench and one sofa bench on the starboard side enable guests to kick back, put their feet in the air and just chill. The sofas are also great for watching TV or chit-chatting with your charter party. Also, there is a very generously spaced walk-in closet to the starboard side. A flat-screen TV in front of the berth will entertain guests for many hours in an air-conditioned environment. There are also shelves with rails, where you can store your stuff without them slipping when cruising.

The port side ensuite features the same marble and wood arrangement as in the twin cabin ensuite, with an exception of the colour of the marble sink surface being pink, and not green. The wall and ceiling in the ensuite are done in white, with brown wood framing. The shower cabin is pretty much the same as in the twin – generous, compact and with a wooden floor.

Yacht Charter Accommodation: Two Twin Cabins

Located between the master stateroom and the VIP cabin are two twin cabins, brilliantly furnished with soft bed linens, adequate storage space and a bright, airy vibe. Each twin cabin has one pullman berth for one or two extra guests aboard the amazing MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. In addition, each cabin has its own ensuite bathroom so every guest will enjoy complete comfort and privacy.

The ensuites feature a marble floor panel framed with the same wood used in the salon. There is plenty of toilet cabinetry, combined with a sink, a shower cabin and a head. The shower cabin has a wood floor, for a comfortable feeling when taking a warm shower before dinner on MISS KATARIINA yacht charter. The twin cabins are mirror images of one another with their entrances parallel to one another.

The twins are subtly decorated with the same hexagonal ornaments present in the other cabins. The twin berths are comfortable and enjoyable, providing guests countless hours of rest and recuperation before they return to enjoy their charter holiday in Croatia. White leather panels cover the cabinetry, which is located above the headspace of the berths… A singular nightstand divides the twin berths, with a mirror in the middle.

When it comes to sunlight, there are wide twin portholes that provide a decent amount of natural light throughout the day. There is an added bonus to it also; the light coming in the cabins shimmers and reflects from the water’s surface outside, creating an interesting pattern of liquid and light, a mini-natural light show.

YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM

MISS KATARIINA yacht charter offers astounding possibilities that will get you up close and personal with the incredible Croatian Adriatic sea. At her disposal, she has an inflatable swimming platform, which acts as an extension of her original hydraulic transom platform. YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS

With your amazing chase boat, you can visit every secluded bay and cover more ground faster, during your yacht charter vacation. Take out all your water toys and start an amazing competition on 2 stand-up paddleboards or with a brand new Yamaha jet ski. Furthermore, with your snorkelling and fishing gear, you can enjoy the wonderful seabed life. Let your captain take you to the best snorkelling and fishing spots so you will be amazed by the colourful Croatian seabed and have your first big catch.

My favourite water toy on this yacht is a Yamaha Waverunner. Since I am an adrenaline lover, I had a very fabulous experience using this amazing jet-ski. It was an extremely enjoyable and wonderful experience. You can cruise around uninhabited islands , race with other guests or just have a romantic cruise while the sun is kissing the sea.

If you will be lucky enough you might have a companion of Croatian friendly dolphins. Feel free to race with them because this one-life experience is impossible anywhere except in Croatia.

Live updates: follow the latest news on Russia-Ukraine

Several luxury yachts owned by wealthy Russians have been detained across Europe this month.

It comes after the West imposed sanctions on oligarchs over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine .

Some have taken evasive action – two such superyachts linked to billionaire Roman Abramovich were spotted approaching the Turkish coast on Tuesday. A group of Ukrainians tried to stop one of the yachts from docking in Turkey.

Chelsea FC owner Mr Abramovich is one of several oligarchs who were added to an EU blacklist last week as governments acted to seize yachts and other luxury assets owned by the billionaires.

Western sanctions resulted in many large vessels relocating from Europe in the past few weeks. Several have headed to places such as the Maldives, which have no extradition treaty with the US.

Where is the Abramovich-owned yacht heading?

Mr Abramovich's yacht Eclipse was seen heading towards Marmaris on Tuesday, according to data compiled by monitoring site Marine Traffic, which was seen by Reuters.

The previous day, his superyacht Solaris was moored in Bodrum, about 80 kilometres from Marmaris, data showed, after skirting waters of EU countries.

There was no suggestion Mr Abramovich was on board either of the yachts.

Which yachts have been detained?

On Monday, a superyacht linked to another Russian billionaire was detained by authorities after docking in Gibraltar.

The Axioma , believed to belong to Dmitrievich Pumpyansky, moored at Gibraltar on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, Reuters TV footage showed.

Mr Pumpyansky, who is under UK and EU sanctions, owns Russia's largest steel pipe maker TMK. Data shows the 72-metre vessel is owned by a British Virgin Islands holding company called Pyrene investments, Reuters reported. An article published as part of the Panama Papers leaks names Mr Pumpyansky as a beneficiary of the holding.

On March 12, the world's biggest sailing yacht, called Sailing Yacht A and owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko , was seized by Italian police.

Several other luxury yachts have also been detained across Europe, including in Gibraltar, Mallorca in Spain's Balearic Islands and the French coast.

Here are 16 superyachts linked to wealthy Russians

1. Eclipse , a superyacht linked to sanctioned Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich , was this week spotted heading in the direction of Marmaris in Turkey.

2. Solaris , belonging to Mr Abramovich , moored in Bodrum at the start of the week.

3. The Axioma superyacht, belonging to Russian oligarch Dmitrievich Pumpyansky , who is on the EU's list of sanctioned Russians, was detained by authorities after docking in Gibraltar on Monday.

4. The Crescent , which was seized by the Spanish government in Tarragona, Spain, on March 17. The ship's owner is not publicly known, although it is believed to belong to Russian Igor Sechin, head of Rosneft Oil in Moscow.

5. Ragnar , owned by former KGB officer and Russian oligarch Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, who is not on the EU sanctions list.

6. Tango , owned by Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg, who was sanctioned by the US on March 11.

7. Lady Anastasia , owned by Russian arms manufacturer Alexander Mijeev, is retained at Port Adriano, Mallorca, as a result of sanctions against Russia and Belarus issued by the European Union.

8. Valerie was seized by the Spanish government in Barcelona, Spain, on March 15. Spanish newspaper El Pais reported that the ship is linked to Rostec State Corporation’s chief executive Sergey Chemezov.

9. The $578 million Sailing Yacht A owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko was seized by Italian police in the port of Trieste on March 12.

10. The 156-metre Dilbar superyacht is owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov.

11. La Datcha belongs to Russian billionaire businessman Oleg Tinkov.

12. Lady M , owned by Russian oligarch Alexei Mordashov, was seized by Italian police on March 5.

13. Amore Vero was seized in the Mediterranean resort of La Ciotat on March 3 by French authorities. The yacht is linked to Igor Sechin, a Putin ally who runs the Russian oil giant Rosneft.

14. Quantum Blue , owned by a company linked to Russian billionaire Sergei Galitsky, the head of Russian oil giant Rosneft, was seized in southern France on March 3.

15. Superyacht Luna is owned by Russian billionaire Farkhad Akhmedov.

16. Triple Seven is owned by Russian billionaire Alexander Abramov, according to media reports. The yacht was last up for sale in 2020 for €38 million ($41.85 million).
