Lyman-Morse Building New Revel 44S

Lyman-Morse Technologies in Thomaston, Maine, is building the first hull of the new Revel 44S, an outboard-powered vessel that’s designed to combine the practicality of a center console with the amenities and comfort of a cruising yacht. Revel is a new company, founded just two years ago, in Charleston, South Carolina.

The new Revel 44S is an international effort, with the hull designed by Bill Prince Yacht Design of Port Washington, Wisconsin, and the interior and exterior by Macra Naval Architecture of La Spezia, Italy. A lot of the engineering came from Revel founder and CEO Joshua St. Germain, who said, “We’re really combining the best of American marine design and manufacturing with some European style.”

Standard power is three 400-hp Mercury V10 Verado outboards, with a top speed of 46 knots. With optional power from three 600-hp Mercury V12 Verados, the top speed notches up to 54 knots.

The hull, deck and stringer grid are laid up with epoxy construction; everything else uses vinylester resin, and the structural components are vacuum-infused. The custom glass helm display is made by Seatronx, which usually makes display modules for superyachts.

The Revel 44S has a full cabin below. A settee that can be converted into a berth is forward, the galley is to port, a full head and shower are to starboard, and a queen berth is under the helm area. The large open aft deck has drop-down sides that create a large amount of usable space. They include high railings for safety, and swim ladders.

The Revel’s new technology includes optional Starlink high-performance internet. And Revel is developing an app that will let owners connect to the boat remotely to control the lights and refrigeration, check engine hours and fuel levels, and view two security cameras on the hardtop.

Lyman-Morse expects to launch the new Revel 44S in the second half of the year. Base price with standard power is $1,828,000.

Revel yachts unveils the 44s model: a masterpiece of luxury, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Blending European elegance with American craftsmanship, the Revel 44S boasts a hull design by Bill Prince yacht Design of Wisconsin, interior and exterior styling by Macra Naval Architecture of La Spezia, Italy, engineering expertise from Revel’s in house team, and construction by the esteemed Main-base boatbuilder, Lyman-Morse. The outcome promises the essence of luxury, innovation, and dependability in its category.  

Revel Yachts, led by CEO Joshua St. Germain, a seasoned marine industry expert and graduate of the Landing School, boasts over a decade of experience at leading yacht manufacturers in the U.S. supported by a bunch of seasoned investors, the company benefits from their financial backing and strategic business expertise.

Like any exceptional product, the evolution of the Revel 44S stems from the initial design concepts that were refined through extensive customer feedback. The essence of the Revel 44S is to provide a vessel that offers ultimate comfort and style for family beach outings, as well as short two to three day cruises. Combining the versatility of a center console with the luxurious amenities and seaworthiness of a cruising yacht, the Revel 44S features a full cabin below deck, a convertible settee forward, a galley to port, a full head with shower to starboard, and a queen berth aft beneath the helm area. 

While maintaining classic lines, the Revel 44S incorporates modern technological advancements. Notably, it features digital switching and offers the option of Starlink high-performance internet. The company is also in the process of developing an app that enables remote connectivity for owners to control lighting, refrigeration, monitor engine hours and fuel levels, and access two optional security cameras mounted on the hardtop. Additionally, the vessel boasts a custom glass helm display module designed for superyachts. 

Luxury is passed through every aspect of the Revel 44S. Each walking surface is adorned with decking, featuring Herculan Marine Decks from Teakdecking Systems as the standard choice, with real teak available as an option. For the creation of the legs supporting the aft end of the hardtop, Revel collaborated with a specialized outside vendor in custom metal manufacturing, resulting in a stunning masterpiece. The legs feature cast aluminum tops and bottoms, connected by meticulously crafted welded aluminum tubes that are then expertly faired and painted, culminating in an exquisite finish. 

However, intriguing features and cutting-edge design are meaningless if the boat lacks safety, seaworthiness, and impressive performance; the Revel 44S excels in all these aspects. Standard power is delivered by triple 400-hp Mercury V10 Verados, with the option to upgrade to twin or triple 600-hp Mercury V12s. With standard power, the vessel achieves an estimated top speed of 46 knots, while  opting for the higher-power engines increases the top speed to 54 knots. Built with epoxy construction for the hull, deck, and stringer grid, and utilizing vinylester resin for all other components, including vacuum-infused structural elements, Revel ensures superior craftsmanship and durability in every aspect of the boat’s construction.  

Lyman-Morse craftsman have begun building hull No. 001, slated for launch in the second half of 2024. Description

Italian style blends with American quality as an entirely new brand is launched at the heralded shipyard Lyman Morse. The new Revel 44S is meant to be a luxury performance cruising boat with the highest build quality, design and detail that you should expect from one of the best American boat builders. Powered by Mercury Verado outboards, she will be capable of top ends between 55 mph to 65 mph and cruise speeds between 35-45 mph, depending on the engine package. An expansive open deck layout that can be customized to the owners needs, fold out balconies, a outdoor summer kitchen and the latest advances in technology are all features found on the Revel 44S. 

The construction of the first Revel 44S currently underway at the Lyman Morse Shipyard in Maine and due for completion at the end 2024. The first models are available and ready for delivery fall 2024.

The 55m (180 ft) luxury superyacht REVELRY (formerly 4YOU) was built to the highest specifications by renowned Dutch shipyard Amels and is a masterpiece of their limited edition 180 series. Launched in 2012 and expertly refitted in 2022, this impressive motor yacht features an exterior designed by award-winning Tim Heywood and a stunning contemporary interior courtesy of Laura Sessa Ramboli. With everything guests could wish for on board, REVELRY is an impressive yacht catering for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Words that best describe this fabulous superyacht are contemporary, luxurious, stylish and modern. Guests of REVELRY will find supreme comfort as well as chic sophistication onboard. The yacht’s main salon has an elegant colour palette of grey and white which is beautifully layered with rich woods to create a warm and inviting space. Here you will find a lit-up welcome bar and sumptuous sofas and lounge chairs for relaxing. Further in is the yacht’s formal dining area where ten plush chairs surround a beautiful dining table, providing a delightful setting to enjoy the exquisite cuisine prepared by REVELRY’s onboard chefs. Accommodation-wise REVELRY features an impressive main deck master suite that offers a private office, lounge, marble-clad ensuite bathroom, and a generous walk-in wardrobe. A further twin cabin with Pullman bunk can be found on this deck, ideally suited for children or alternatively staff with its proximity to the master suite. The remaining four guest cabins can be found on the lower deck. Here we have two double cabins featuring queen-sized beds and two twin cabins with single beds and a Pullman bunk each that can be converted to a double bed arrangement as required. All cabins offer ample storage, stunning contemporary artwork, and luxurious marble ensuites. 

Guests chartering REVELRY are also likely to be found enjoying the sunshine and the yacht’s incredible amenities on deck. The main deck aft lounge is the perfect place for morning coffees and casual outdoor dining. It also provides access to the swim platform and the beach club where you find the revitalising Lumi ice bath and the relaxing steam room. Another splendid alfresco dining option awaits on the bridge deck aft as well as a lounge area. The spaces on both of these decks can be shaded via canopies if guests prefer to get out of the sun for a little while. Moving forward along the sidewalks of the bridge deck is the Portuguese deck where oversized armchairs face out across the bow for stunning vistas especially when underway.

Guests simply fall in love with the superb sundeck, REVELRY’s highest vantage point. Here you will find uninterrupted views from raised sun loungers, a wet bar and barbeque, and a third alfresco dining table seating twelve guests – this too can be shaded if preferred. Centrally you have a semi-enclosed lounge area which can be cleared and set up as an outdoor gym for fitness-minded guests. Towards the aft of the sundeck guests can relax in the Jacuzzi and take in the magical scenery and impressive coastlines of REVELRY’s cruising grounds while bronzing on the sunpads.

REVELRY has an array of complimentary water toys and accessories for guests of all ages to enjoy including Waverunners, Seabobs, and Flite e-Foil boards, as well as a chase boat ideal for exploring shallow bays and being ferried ashore in style.

Fresh from her refit, the sleek and elegant  M/Y Revelry is ready to welcome guests aboard for charters in the Mediterranean .

This newly refitted yacht, previously ex-4 You, was originally launched by Amels in 2012 and has retained all of her grace and hauteur. REVELRY's commodious exterior provides an abundance of space for charter guests, with a variety of sumptuous outdoor seating and dining options available.

Her interior spaces are flooded with light coming in from large sky lounge windows, which complement the exquisite Laura Sessen-designed interiors, where light and dark woods are juxtaposed with delicate fabrics and ornate onyx and marble finishes. 

REVELRY is as beautiful and elegant as she is comfortable and welcoming.

REVELRY boasts six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite on the upper deck, complete with private lounge, study, en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. There is another twin stateroom aft of the master suite, making this arrangement ideal for charters with children or staff.

A further four beautifully appointed staterooms are located on the lower deck, along with a beach club and massage room – perfect for some heavenly pampering.

She also offers a stunning jacuzzi, large swim platform, as well as an on-deck outdoor gym – perfect for staying in shape whilst on your charter!
